This short poem is also a simple prayer, a plea to God for Him to guide me through my life, through are the world's and the devil's temptations and through the trials and tribulations we will all face. Through Your Eyes



Lord, help me see through the world's lies,

And to see through a person's guise.

Father, please help me to realize

The Truth for it will make me wise.

Even though trials will arise,

I reach for Your eternal prize.

Father, hear my prayers and cries,

Let me see clearly through Your eyes.
