Disclaimer: Alias is not mine. If it was I would have a hell of a lot more of my own
money than I do now. And If I did own Alias, Syd and Sark would be together and Alice
would be dead ? Now onto the chapter…
The "Enemy"?
Sydney walks up to the door of her dark house and quickly unlocks it feeling as if
she may collapse at any moment. She is mentally and physically exhausted and cannot
wait to drop her bags and relax, possibly with a warm, relaxing bath.
The house is eerily quiet. She flicks on the light, throws her bags on the floor and
sits down on the couch so that she can remove her shoes. She leans back into the couch,
her head dropping back. As she breathes deeply to sigh she suddenly notices a light
floral scent coming from the direction of the bathroom. 'That's odd,' she rises and walks
towards the bathroom. 'Did Francie leave a candle burning again? I would have thought
that after that incident in college that…' Her thoughts suddenly pause as she approaches
the door, soft music is playing and there is a light glow underneath the doorframe.
She cautiously opens the door and gasps. There is soft, calming music playing on
the stereo, the bath has been drawn with a lavender bath oil-her favorite- and there are
several candles lit throughout the room. Two strong arms encircle her waist and a kiss is
placed upon her neck. Sydney's eyes close slightly and grins. "This is heavenly, just
what I need."
"I thought you'd need to relax. You're working too hard Ms. Superspy." She
giggles, lightly nods her head, and turns in his arms so that she can face him. She raises
herself up on the tops of her feet and slowly kisses him. "I've missed you, Andrew."
"I've missed you too darling. I don't know about you, but I think someone's a tad
bit overdressed."
"I think two people are," she grins, eyes dancing.
He dramatically sighs, "Well we don't want the bath to get cold now do we?"
She shakes her head and runs her hands down his chest. She begins to nimbly
undo his buttons as her unzips her dress. Their clothing is quickly shed and they both
climb in the tub. Sydney leans back onto Andrew and relaxes as he begins to massage
her neck, shoulders, and back, gently releasing all of her knots. Sydney twists to her right
and slightly leans back capturing his lips with hers. Their fingers interlock and half and
hour later passes by, neither one noticing until the water became cold. "I'm getting
chilly. Let's towel off." Sydney steps out of the tub and quickly grabs Andrew's hand
and leads him out as well. They quickly towel off, pull the plug in the tub, blow out the
candles, and switch off the CD player before they walk into Sydney's room to get
changed into fresh sleeping attire.
They lie down on the bed, pull the covers over themselves and cuddle. Andrew
absentmindedly strokes her hair as she, with her head resting upon his chest, traces
patterns on his firm stomach. "Andrew."
"Hmmm?"
"Where is Francie?"
"Will and Francie are with Amy at a club. They'll be back late."
Lost in their own little world, they forget the obstacles that they face every day,
all of the scheming and lying and violence. They are content to lie in each other's arms
not saying a word. The couple slowly falls asleep locked in their embrace.
