Heero Finds Out

-Begin Story-
"...So I thought you should know." Relena Peacecraft felt as if a hundred pound weight had just been lifted from her. She looked expectantly at the young man in front of her, trying to read his reaction.
"So what you're saying Relena is that you're straight?" Heero Yuy looked back at Relena with an impassive expression.
"That's right."
"And that's why you're chasing after me?" Heero's monotone gave no hint as to what he was feeling at that moment.
"Yes."
"Hn. Huh. Hah. Hah hah. Hehehe. Bwahahaha. Oh my god, Relena, heheh, that's a good one. Hahahahahahahahaha. Oh shit I may pass out. Heheheheh." Heero laughed.
Relena's face fell at Heero's reaction. "Why are you laughing."
"It's just that if you were a lesbian, that'd make your stalking me even stupider, hehehe." Heero looked at Relena as if she had lost her mind. "I figured that you were straight. That's the only reason for you to be chasing after me."
"Oh."
"I'm not that stupid, Relena."
"So, does this change anything?"
"Only that I have a good story to tell Duo before we go to bed tonight." Heero shook his head, still smirking.
"But you understand why I do what I do?"
"No, but at least it makes more sense than if you were Dorothy's girlfriend!" Heero stood to leave the room.
"So you don't love me?" Relena melodramatically choked back a sob.
"No, Relena, I don't. We're friends when you're not stalking me. I'm in love with Duo. Get that through your head and we'll be fine. I'm gay, you're straight. It won't work." Heero reached the door.
"I'll have to think about it." Relena said in a dejected tone.
"You do that Relena. Call me if you need any reinforcement on the 'I'm Gay' point."
"See you later, then?" Relena asked hopefully.
"I'm your director of security. Of course you'll see me." The former Gundam pilot looked at his wristwatch. "It's time for me to go home." Heero opened the door and walked out, turning only to say "Good night."
"Good night, Heero." The door closed after Relena's good-bye. Ms Peacecraft stood and walked over to her mirror. She adjusted her blouse and said to herself "Well, Relena, that didn't work." Relena then exited the room to go for her dinner.
