Yes they are mine! Yeah right, I wish. If it were it would be called 'Ripper and the White Knight' not 'Buffy'
- Teri, Disclaimer 'Who Would Have Thought'
"This is the long and short of it." Ripper said to the boy sitting in front of him.
"Long and short of what?" the White Knight, Xander said as he drummed his fingers on the table in front of him, bored out of his mind.
Ripper suppressed the urge to roll his eyes. "You Xander Harris are the White Knight."
Xander blinked. "The White Knight?"
Ripper nodded, "Yes."
Xander blinked again. "What's a White Knight?"
Ripper sighed rapping his head on the table before regarding the boy with glasses-less eyes. "You wanna short story or long?"
Xander leaned forward eyes narrowed, "which will get me out of this house faster?"
"Neither actually." Ripper said, "I've been made your legal guardian thus you now live here."
"Oh that explains the party." Xander said. "Short version then."
Ripper nodded. "Fifty-two years ago an Evil vampire named Spike and his crazy girlfriend Drusilla killed all the Slayers."
"What's a Slayer?" Xander interrupted.
"I'll tell you later." Ripper answered. "Now, since all the Slayers are dead another couldn't be born and all hope was lost. That was until a sorcerer found a book that spoke of a male version of the Slayer called that White Knight. He is one man in the entire world that can stop the evil that tends to try to take over."
Xander blinked a little stunned. "And I'm this one man." he watched Ripper nod. "And you're what? My Watcher?"
Ripper shook his head, "Although it is true my family line is nothing but, I rebelled and have been better off for it. I am however going to train you in what you will be doing."
"What do you mean?" Xander asked Skeptically.
Ripper smirked. "I might not be a Watcher 'cause they don't know you exist, but I am a powerful Warlock and have the means to help you."
"Help me what?" Xander asked.
"Fight evil." Ripper replied.
Xander nodded. "ok, give me the long version and we'll go from there."
'well at least he didn't panic like Ethan said he would.' Ripper thought and launched into his story again.

Two dark figures got off the bus at the Sunnydale station looked around slightly confused. Their long hooded cloaks hid most of their clothing except for where the two duffle bags they carried hung at their sides.
"Are you sure this is it Teri?" One of the figures asked.
Teri shook her head. "I don't know Eva this is where Oz told us to meet him.I think."
"Oh," Eva said. "Ok."
