On dark misty mountain in an unknown world of living Hell, a dark figure stood on a ridge, a sheer ridge where she watched the sunrise every morning. She sat down and watched the beauty that was the Sun come from the other side of the world. Her lovely gray eyes reflected the gray morning mist. She thought herself odd for having such an easy way of finding peace in the Hell she lived in. She smiled at the bright sun, in the bright pink skies, then the frown returned as her mother suddenly put a hand on her shoulder. "Sera, you really should hurry or the Ritual of Shadows will start with out us." Heuo, her mother said. "I thought you of all people would understand that I don't see this right, to collide two worlds, using a sacrifice, it isn't right of us! We are not Gods we are but powerful people, who have the power to do this, why not connect the two worlds?!" she yelled the entire time, not holding back her defiance. Heuo held her daughter in her gaze for a few minutes before dragging her off the ridge and into the cavern that lead to the ritual area. The cavern was open and vast in size, hardly needed for the lack of people. Sera slowly made her way away from Heuo, so she could go and find someone, the High Priest they called her, Donax is what she called her self. Sera found he near the sacrifice area. "Donax? May I ask you about the Ritual? Exactly what will happen to our world?" Donax jumped at first then listened. "Ah, yes. Our world will change, but only the Western and Eastern areas of this place, and our small strip of land will stay the same, this is only the 2nd time we've done it, in my 600 hundred year life span, but that's because we only found out 300 years ago. Don't worry, we'll be fine." Sera nodded in thanks and walked out, stopping only when Donax called her name," Oh and Sera if you do anything during the ritual it'll mess up and we might not survive, so don't!" Sera winced at his edgy voice and quickly left. She was found by her mother and reprimanded for leaving her, then apologized when Sera said she had gone to see the High Priest. Sera sighed in relief and both walked to the front row of the spectators of the Ritual. A gleam had appeared in Sera's eyes and this meant to few everything was going to mess up soon. She had a plan to jump into the flame to disrupt the Ritual and perhaps help the survivors of the collision of three worlds. The High Priest appeared and the dancers began their circular dance and a flame appeared in the middle of the circle. The Flame grew larger and then a sudden flash of worlds came forth, settling on two, unique worlds. The survivors were chosen in the same manner, 100 from each planet. At this moment, Sera hesitated, and so fell to her knees, feeling defeated by a failed objective, she looked up and saw four unique figures at the lead of each line. "Those people in the lines of people..the man with blonde, spikey hair..that woman brown hair, pink dress, green eyes...they look like what my original parents looked like..and the people on the right look rather strong and close." She knelt and prayed in her custom. A sudden great rumble threw her to the ground face first, knocking her unconscious. The last thing she remembered was a few people cursing loudly as several large winged monsters attacked..
