You act like you're so tough
Yet I see through your exterior.
You are just as scared as I;
You are just as afraid of life.

We all fear rejection
Which is why we never act.
We have such hidden passion
Yet we keep it bottled up inside.

You and I are alike-
Full of power and grace.
So why don't we take what we want
When it is right in front of us?

Because we are afraid of rejection;
We are afraid of the unknown.
We are afraid to act on our impulses
And take and do what we want.
