Author's note- A poem about Legolas going across the sea.

I long to see the deep blue sea,
Beyond it lands of green,
A land where are lives are free.
The stars shine bright,
All through the night,
Above the great vast sea,
Whilst the moon smiles down,
Without a sound,
Upon never ending green.
The gull on the shore crys,
The forest is behind me,
I shall not return,
Once I have gone,
Across so wide a sea.
