ANOTHER LOVELY PRESENT
Sweat drops were coming down Jack Skellington's skull as his hand-in-chin walking took him from one side of the room to the other and back... and back again. For the very first time he felt nervious, and this was unlike himself since he was famous for being confident and overproud as he was the Pumpkin King himself; no matter, today he felt nervous.
It could be easier if it was Halloween, he could perform his Halloween dances and deadly stunts as nobody could---he could set himself on fire, he could take out his head, he could deal with his loyal admirers, he could convince his people to do his bidding no matter how whimsical---and all of that seemed easy comparing it to what laid next.
The sound of Sally's moaning called his attention, and then sudden cryings made him look towards her.
''Ah, Mr. Skellington, come on here, my boy!'' said the doctor. ''Hurry! It is coming!''
''Ah! Yes... yes...!'' Jack ran to the doctor's side.
''Oh, Jack...'' Sally moaned as she saw him, her face all sweaty as well.
''Don't stop pushing, Sally,'' instructed the doctor, ''keep on, come on, keep on...!''
Jack stared wide eyed, his jaw openned, ''wwooowww,'' then he smiled out his crooked and yellow teeth.
''Oh, this is all our creation,'' Dr. Finklestein said softly while handling the baby to Igor.
But the small bundle of bones was intercepted by his father first, ''At last, my heir! What a lovely present!!'' said the proud father before bursting in a sudden mad laughing while staring at his baby's face.
''WAAAAAHHHHHHH...!!!'' cried the baby at his father's scary laugh of happiness, finally this one was born alive, as he wished, and not dead, as his skeleton genes were always present before. ''WAAAHHHHHHHH!!!'' the baby continued to cry hard, closing his eyes to his scary elder's laugh, to his father's delight.
Jack took the newest halloween baby to the big window on Finklestein's tower and showed it to all Halloweentown people which cheered happily as the Major said on his car speaker, ''WONDERFUL NEWS, FOLKS: AFTER MANY ATTEMPS, JACK SKELLINGTON, PUMPKIN KING OF HALLOWEEN, HAS BECOME FATHER OF HIS FIRST LIVING CHILD FOR THE FIRST TIME! EVERYBODY HAIL TO THE PUMPKIN PRINCE!
