The rain fell heavely around the blood stained ground. Footprints of
metalic type lions were imprinted in the muddy ground. All around were the
fallen bodys of Zoid pilots, torn and broken. The lightning flashed and
illuminated a single figure in the middle of it all.
The figure had the zoid build of a lion. Its teeth were stained with
blood from the act it had just commited. Claws were caked with mud and
blood. The organoids eyes flashed with evil.
It walked slowly through the mass of the fallen people, eyes scanning
for any sign of life.
It came apon a male pilot still slightly alive. The organiod snarled
and spoke to him. Her voice was that of a female.
"You there! How do you still live after the wounds I inflicted on all of you? If you do not speak I will kill you slowly, and painfully."
The man struggled to sit up. He looked at the organiod with sadness. His brown hair was plastered to his head with a mixture of blood and rain. Black eyes, once filled with fighting spirit, stared at the organoid with a dull glow. He spoke in a sad tone.
"Legra, why are you doing this?"
Legra growled a low growl.
"That is not of your concern. I do as I please."
The man stared at Legra. He reached out a hand to touch her but she stepped back quickly. He stared at her hard.
"Legra, don't you recognize me? It's me Van!"
Legra smirked evily.
"What is that supposed to mean to me?"
Van gave her a cold look. He was starting to get his strenght back.
"Legra your being possesed aren't you? Raven did this to you didn't he? The Legra I know is in there somewhere, leave her be!"
The organoid's eyes flashed dangerously. She swiped the side of Van's face with her paw sending him sprawling a couple feet away. He fell with a shout of pain. Legra walked up calmly. Van looked up weakly to face Legra's cunning smile.
"Now, now, now this is something that little boys shouldn't interfear with."
She bent down to his eye level and smiled flashing her silver teeth.
"But if you truely want to know..."
She gets close to his ear and whispers,
"I am Raven."
Van's eyes fly open with fear and angst. He turns his head and glares at Raven/Legra.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER!!! LEAVE HER BE RAVEN!! I'LL KILL YOU!!"
Van gets up shakely and runs toward Legra. He dives at her and sends her flying into a rock. She roars with pain as the electricity surges throughout her whole body. With her last bit of strength she looks up at Van and says.
"I'm sorry..."
Legra's body falls limp against the rock. Her majestic white body lay dulled by the blood splattered on her. The rain falls against her slowly washing off the red.
Van stood there stunned at Legra's last words. He realized that she had conquered Raven at that last moment before she had died.
"No...no...NO!!!"
Van collapses to the ground sobbing. Tears stream down his face and fall to the ground. Tears, rain, and blood all mix together on the once green grass. Van suddenly feels warmth on his back and opens his eyes to see a single ray of sunlight shining down on the hill. A smile plays apon his tear stained face as he nods.
"It's ok Legra."
