We Are One

A/N: Yes, you read the summary right. ^_^;; Here I am, a Wiccan, writing in the Bible section. But...before you write a review, please read my poem and at least think about what I'm trying to say. I know that I won't get any senseless flames of "You're evil!" because I know that the Christian faith teaches you to love and cherish one another and you have a moral obligation to love. (My best friend is Catholic and she's the most moral person I've ever known.) Thank you very much! *hugs to all*
Once upon a time,
a man was killed for what he was trying to teach.
Not-so-long ago...
people died for their faith.
Christians call him God.
Jews call him Yahweh.
Muslims call him Allah.
And, to me, they are the God and Goddess.
But...
Feminine and Masculine...
Merging together.
Forming One.
A faith.
A hope.
And a love for that in which
I honor and worship.
It IS a faith.
And it IS a hope.
Is it...
so very different from your own?
Together,
we love the same being, though
it goes by different names.
Is it so different...really?
I love.
And you love.
Different names...but...
essentially the same being--right?
With that faith--
WE become one.
