A/N- Hey, sorry about not updating in 20 million years! I got a LOT of
stuff going on right now. And a big problem has come up, so I may not have
too many updates rolling around, so sorry about that! Well, on with the
flying!
Chapter 2- It starts
"Ok, now, Chichi, I want you too try hard to take this power you have and force it down! You did well in controlling it and it should be no problem for you to do this! Now, go ahead, try it!"
Chichi looked down at the ground, she couldn't believe what she had just done, she had just made a ball of pure energy, right in the middle of her own two hands! It had seemed impossible to her. And now, to have done it, she now knew she could do pretty much whatever she felt like doing.
"Ok, Chichi, this is it! This is gonna' be you're moment! You're going to fly! Just remember how to control it." Chichi looked up at the beautiful blue sky. She knew she would soon be in it. And those clouds, those clouds were so beautiful to her. And she had always wondered, just how did they feel?
Yes, she had been on the Nimbus Cloud, but, this cloud was magical, these clouds were different, natural! It seemed the Nimbus Cloud had always avoided these "normal" clouds. But, she would be in them, just as soon as- "Chichi! Chichi, look! You're off the ground!"
"Huh?" She looked down and fell.
"You did it, Chichi! You did it!"
"I really did! Wow, thank you, Phoenix! I can't believe it!"
"Now maybe you should take a break, you worked pretty hard today!"
"No, I wanna' FLY, like zoom around, stuff like that!"
"Chichi, it takes a lot more work than just that. It'll be a while before you can fly, fly!"
"Phoenix, I won't go home until I can fly home!"
"Chichi, please. Just give it a little rest! I need one! So please, just wait one more day, and then I promise, we can stay until you can fly home!"
"Oh, ok!"
Chichi turned and walk silently down the path towards her home."
