Huey Pov

As in introvert-INTP, I really could care less about the dynamics of this conversation but girls seem to be into it. she's into it and I'm into her. I really should stop being a peeping tom. Speaking of Tom, what's he doing at Jasmine's slumber party?

"Hey ladies, it's time for karaoke"! "it's never a right time toooo sayyyy goodbyeeee….." Tom singed off the key while the girls covered their ears.

Jasmine swiftly ran to the machine and cut the music off immediately, "dad! what are you doing!" you shouldn't be here, what happened to you and mom's date"?

Tom had a sudden sad look resembling a dog who was on punishment, "Aww okay, well I'm leaving, you ladies have a great time, don't do anything that can get you in"… while tom stands at the door, Jasmine quickly replied, "bye", and shuts the door.

I always wondered why tom was such a nuisance growing up, but it bothered me less and less as Jasmine started to transform from something I dealt with into something I desired, and yet we were just friends.

As the music cut back on, I began to watch the girls dance while jasmine shifted her hips, something was approaching me while I watched from this window.

Someone was approaching very fast in the dark

….PUNCH! Huey shook his wrist after he punched someone and then after he realized who it was.

"Caesar, really? Why were you thinking of running towards me ?!

"Damnnn bro, I at least said something, you didn't give me a chance"… Caesar rubbing his chest.

The music started to lower and the girls started to head towards the window

"Oh shit, get down" Huey reacting to Caesar, but he kind of was already lying down from the punch.

"wait why are you here of all people"…. ohhh I see? Caesar was looking at Huey like SpongeBob was looking at Squidward when he found out he likes Krabby patties.

"what are you… talking about… sometimes women need someone to watch over them, besides….. Toms gone and Jasmine isn't worried about me", Huey nervously answered turning his head away from Caesar.

The girls started to giggle, while they noticed a girl holding up her phone pointing to an image of…..

"whatupppp ladies, y'all not talking about young Reezy are you? if so y'all don't need pictures when you really want this"…

All the girls turned red and embarrassed because Riley just entered the house, Huey and Caesar quickly left the spot and opened the front door to Jasmine's house and ran upstairs.

"Get Out! Riley!" Jasmine shouted and red due to anger and embarrassment.

"Yeah, Reezy this ain't your Crib" Cindy chimed in, although she bit her lip at the idea of Riley seeing her in satin boy shorts and a cropped cami that highlighted her tiny waist.

The two bursted into the room which caused the boys to have wide eyes and the girls red and blush as ever. Jasmine dropped her phone staring at Huey. Huey took a good look at jasmine then he covered his eyes.

"You ladies look beautiful, but we're here to save you from this F- boy," Caesar said, looking at one of Jasmine's friends. she smiled back.

Jasmine's POV

What is he doing here?! he knew better this is so unlike-like him. lately, I can't control myself around him. I look and I'm turned on and we're just friends, I can't. wait he can see me in my silk shorts and my bralette, damn.

about 30 mins ago…

"Hey Jasmine, what's your cup size"? one of my friends asked.

"SHES A C Isn't it obvious"?

Cindy shouted out which felt like the world heard. i was kind of embarrassed

I said as I scanned the room, to know this information was staying in the room and not anywhere else. I noticed Cindy diving in my underwear drawer..

"Hey ! what are you doing?!" I shout and Cindy slams the drawer shut.

"you're just avoiding the question on you now," one of our other friends giggled.

"Shit, Damn alright, I'm a DD but i hate telling because people be taking advantage of me on the court, they slow down my game". Cindy was frustrated but she wasn't the type to express an insecurity.

"Cindy you're a great player; i didn't even know you felt that way about your boobs, you're beautiful, and you definitely get a lot of attention from the guys hehe" i couldn't hold my laughter back because i knew she for sure loved the attention at school from guys, but we all knew she cared about a certain someone with braids.

"You guys both do ! ugh I'll kill for Cindy's boobs and jasmine's ass, you guys need to plug me your surgeons" another friend of mine wept, and I just gave her a huge hug.

Both Parties Red, Huey shook his head from his daze at Jasmine's sleepover outfit and finally opened his mouth and said something.

"Riley, what were you thinking coming into an all-girls slumber party? I'm sorry Jasmine we will leave, let's go"….. grabbing Riley from his braids, Caesar folding his arms leaning against the wall.

"No. y'all can stay, I'm Tia, and it's an even number amongst us, it's 4 of us so"… Tia had a smirk on her face, she was fairly new to Woodcrest 6 months here but moved close to Cindy, the two bonded over basketball and boys and found a certain guy with locs fancy.

Jasmine couldn't speak fast enough to say no but she stared at Huey and shook her head.

Huey just lifted his eyebrows confused at the statement and also looked worried about if he stayed longer, all would be bad.

"Aye, that's what's up! I'm fucking down to hang with these rooms full of baddies" Riley smiled and sat between tia and the other girl. Caesar was looking at Huey and Huey was looking away from jasmine.

"Umm Tom will be home at 11, and Caesar and I have to umm, practice muay Thai" Huey made up an excuse for them to leave.

Caesar quickly protested, "Nah we don't" followed by a punch from Huey in his shoulder.

Jasmine walked around fast and looked at Cindy and Tia and knew that they wanted to play games with their crush even though she didn't, not dressed like that, not in her room, and not everyone knowing. What was Jasmine thinking? Jasmine got a Text!

Dad: Hey sweetie, how is everything going you guys are having fun? anyways unfortunately I won't be back at 11, your mother and I decided to get a hotel for the night because we're kind of too drunk to drive plus it's been a while since we went to a hotel and okay I'm off track as you can see, anyway I asked Robert to check on you guys and call, so you might get a facetime. You're 16 and I know I can trust you. So NO BOYS, No RILEY especially because he's too wild. I'm sure Huey will make sure he stays home. anyways.. love you goodnight!

Jasmine bit her lips kind of excited, kind of nervous of the text. "Dad trusts me, thanks mom, "she thought to herself before sharing the news.

"Fine! everyone can stay, here are some rules",

"NO Touching each other" !

"NO super loud music"

"NO messes"

"NO eating all the food in the fridge"

shooting a direct look a Caesar while he shrugs

"NO yelling"

"and No going through my stuff"!

"We will be moving this party to the living room".

everyone jumps up excited and Huey asked moving closer to Jasmine, "Hey, aren't your parents coming home in an hour or two"?

"Actually no, they're staying out, so we'll be here all to ourselves, but your granddad should be calling to check on us", Jasmine stated.

"This is not good, but I guess I could observe" Huey shake his head, catching a glimpse at Jasmine.

Jasmine looked at Huey and looked down "it's not, but I guess we can make the most of it" they both blushed and looked away.
