Vampires have come out of the coffin. Humans are sold as food and slaves. Jasper buys a little girl, cause Peter told him to. He also get's a little boy. Boys are usually put to death, but he is the little girl's twin. The girls stay in a school with the Volturi until 16. The boy was picked up by Peter then taught how to be a good vampire. He becomes the head of security when he is turned and until then he runs the slaves. Jasper trains newborns for the Volturi. He sometimes does advanced slave and mate training for other vampires. Jasper was asked by Carlisle to train Bella for Edward. What if Bella hates Jasper's mate and tried to get her in trouble at every turn? How will that work out? Bella Bashing.
Chapter 1
I'm turning 16 in a day, I will be heading home with my mate the day after my 16th birthday. Here we are all taught to be good mates for our vampires. Our vampires are to turn us very shortly after they bring us home. They have 10 days to run us. Unless they send us to Whitlock's advanced training. They don't tell us who our mates are. They hope that our mates status in the vampire world won't effect that way we treat other mates here in the school. I had a twin brother. I was told that my mate came and picked him up to train him. There are a few boys that become slaves. They go to the houses and get trained right away. They leave the school at 5. If they aren't sold or turned into mates, they get killed. It's very rare for them to be turned into a vampire. If they display a power when young, they go to a coven and are raised to become a vampire.
My twin apparently showed that he could control water. Not only that my mate new he was my twin, so he didn't want him killed knowing it would hurt me. He wanted my twin and I to be close. My twin sends me letters. I am one of few that get letters. Our mates can also send us letters, but they aren't allowed to tell us their names. Sometimes they will tell us a little of their history, but not often. my mate's initials are JW and he was in the civil war. The human civil war that is. My twin says he is a strict mate, but fair. My twins name is Ares.
"Athena" My roommate calls
"Yeah, Riley" I say
"Time for dinner. I hear we are to get our letters today." She says excitedly. Her mates name is Garrett. I have never heard of him. He wasn't a major part of vampire history, so he was allowed to give her his name. Riley is so sweet, so I hope he is nice to her. I do hope our vampires know each other. I don't want to never see her again when we both turn 16.
I walk into the dining hall. There is lots of round tables with food on it. They try to do what they call home style. I sit at a table with 5 other girls.
"Table 3, here are your letters," Heidi one of the vampires that looks after us, puts our stack of letters in the middle of our table.
"You have two this week, Athena" One of the girls at my table, Rebecca handed out the letters. I notice that I have one thick envelope and a thinner one. I can't wait to finish eating then open them. Riley and I quickly finish our food. We walk back to our room.
"You got a thick one there, that's not normal for you." Riley said
"Yeah I think it's my brothers. You excited to read your letter?" I ask
"Yeah, we are just getting to know each other."
"Apparently there is a lot my mate can't answer, but when he can he does answer. He did tell me there are times when he will leave stuff out. I told him that's okay."
We giggle and walk into our room. We both lie on our beds. I open the bigger envelope. I notice it's two letter.
"I got two letters in one envelope." I tell Riley
"What?! Lucky! You got three letters this week?"
"Yeah, I did."
Dear Mate,
I hope all is going well there. We had a few problems this week with the slaves. Your brother handled it with the grace of a vampire.
I am coming to see you on your birthday. I got you a gift. I am spending the day with you at the school, then I will be taking you home with me.
You asked if I knew a vampire named Garrett. There isn't just one vampire by the name of Garrett little lady. If it is the Garrett I do know, of course you can see your friend.
You also asked what you will do when you arrive here. We live on a large property as you know, so for the first little while you will be learning the grounds. We will be getting to know each other better. You will be also learning how to be a good mate for me. Yes, you have learned a lot in your school, but you will learn a little more tailored to me. You will also get to know more of my history. You will have another mate join you. She is leaving her school late and has to be trained to be a good mate. A vampire personally asked my coven to train the mate for a vampire in his coven.
