Welcome everyone to the first chapter of The Pokémon Hero. This is something that kind of randomly came up for me, and when I looked to see if anyone else had tried such a thing, I only found one other story that did so, Pokemon Hero Trainer by Thatchickendude and it did give me quite a bit of inspiration to work with. So go give a read to his story if you feel like it.

Now, I do want to clear a few things up before we get started, and this concerns the Pokémon universe. The My Hero universe won't have any changes other than what happens in this story as cannon moves on.

1: This is an AU of my other Pokémon story, The Adventures in Kalos, and uses my OC Alec as the main character. If you want to check out that story, please do. I'd appreciate it greatly.

2: For the canon of the Pokémon universe, it will be a mixture of the games with a bit of the anime elements thrown in where I feel they benefit.

3: Pokémon themselves will also have a mix of anime and games, meaning Legendaries are extremely powerful on their own and require extremely strong regular Pokémon to beat them. So I may mention in dialogue that some Pokémon may be on par with legendaries.

4: Speaking of dialogue, for those who've read The Adventures in Kalos, you probably know what specific thing I'm adding in. So, here they are right now. And I will update this if I add new things as the story goes on.

"Normal Speak"

"Thoughts" and Flashbacks

"All Might Muscle Form"

[Pokémon Speech]

And that about covers it for now. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a review or PM me. I'll try to respond to the reviews for once in my stories. Don't know why I never did so in the first place, but hey, live and learn.

So, without further adieu, let's dive right in, and I hope you enjoy.

Unintended Destination

Kanto Region: Just outside Viridian City

Alec's POV

Viridian City came into view as I approached the city, sitting on the back of my Braviary, Soar, a Shiny Umbreon, Ethan, sitting beside me as we approached. [So, why are we coming back home again? Weren't we just here like, a few days ago?] Ethan asked with a bored undertone.

Soar was an almost five-foot-tall avian Pokémon with dark red feathers on his back and dark blue feathers on his underside. His tail feathers were red, turning to yellow, and then blue at the tips with long, thick legs and yellow feet that each have a digit facing backward, and three facing forward, each digit being tipped by a short, thick, black claw. He also has a long, thick beak with a blue cere, which on either side were his eyes, which were black with small white pupils. Sprouting from above the eyes were three large, white feathers, at their base of the feathers was a red, three-pointed design that was spread across all three feathers. On each side of his face, sprouting out from behind the feathers on his forehead, were an additional three white feathers pointing horizontally and downward. Behind the three feathers on his head is a large plume of white feathers, extending most of the way down his neck.

Ethan, meanwhile, was a quadruped creature that stood just a little over three feet, with a sleek, silver-black body with four slender legs and yellow eyes. He had two pairs of pointed teeth (one in the upper jaw and one in the lower jaw) which weren't visible at the moment. He had long, pointed ears and a bushy tail, each with a neon blue band around them and neon blue rings on his forehead and knees.

"If you were paying attention, Ethan, you'd know that Nebby's been acting up. Dad was getting concerned so he called me," I explained to my partner as I pushed some of my blond hair away from my amber eyes. My appearance consisted mainly of a dark blue shirt with an open black sports jacket, dark-blue jeans, black shoes, and socks, and black fingerless gloves. Around my neck was a necklace with a black crystal in the shape of a circle with a multi-colored keystone in the center. On my left wrist was a black Z-ring which was currently void of a crystal, and on my right wrist was a white Dynamax band.

"I'm worried though. Zzzt. What if Nebby's found something dangerous?" an orange-yellow phone with two lightning bolt attachments asked as it came out of my pocket.

"Then we'll deal with it, Zip. Now calm yourself, we're almost there. Right Soar?" I asked him.

[I see the tower up ahead. Coming in for a landing,] Soar replied as he increased his speed a bit and landed in front of a 32 story tower near the center of the city. I then stepped off Soar and thanked him before returning him to his ball.

I then stepped inside with Ethan following me, giving a nod to the receptionist at the front desk, who acknowledged me as I headed towards the elevator. I pressed the button for the basement and the elevator lowered itself towards its destination and the doors opened with a ding.

I stepped out to see a few men in business suits trying to calm Nebby down, but the Solgaleo wasn't having it, moving like he had some kind of itch he couldn't scratch. "Nebby! Nebby!" I shouted, getting the legendary Pokémon's attention, who immediately focused on me.

Nebby was an eleven-foot-tall lion-like Pokémon with a white body and a blunt muzzle with a blue-gray nose and pale blue eyes. The top half of his face was a deep blue area that showed an ever-changing starscape. Four yellow spikes frame his head like a crown and two more pairs of spikes adorn either side of his lower jaw, each spike separating large tufts of his mane. Solid ridges—red nearest to the head and yellow farther away—poke out of each tuft along the middle, except on the tufts on his cheeks and chin, with the topmost part wrapping around the tip of the tuft. Around each leg is a dark orange band, and there was a black spot on each foot, with three black toes and long yellow claws. At the tip of his tail was a large black spot with a thin yellow rim.

Nebby ran up to me and pushed his head into my chest, almost knocking me over before pulling back and gesturing to the roof. I might be able to understand Pokémon, but Nebby was talking so fast that I only got something about Ultra Space. [What's gotten into Nebby?] Ethan questioned but I didn't respond as I focused on calming Nebby.

"Nebby! Look at me. It's alright," I told him as I held out my hands. Nebby calmed slightly and I rubbed my left hand on his head and my right under his chin. "It's alright. Now, why don't you tell me what's wrong, and speak slower this time," I advised.

[For the past few days I've been feeling something going on in Ultra Space. I'm not sure what it is, but whatever it has me worried,] Nebby answered.

"Alright, then let's go check it out then," I answered, preparing to climb aboard when I saw my dad approaching. He was a man in his early-fifties with graying brown hair, blue eyes, a clean shave, and a tidy business suit.

"So, what's happening?" dad asked.

"Nebby's picked up something in Ultra Space. I've gotta find out what's riling him up so much," I answered.

Dad sighed, knowing that he wouldn't be able to change my mind. "Just be careful, alright?" he told me.

"I will. Don't worry about me, I can handle myself," I replied before mounting Nebby while my father and the other men walked out of the room. "Ethan, you'd better return. I don't want to risk anything," I told my partner as I pulled out a pure white Poké Ball with a red rim called a Premier Ball.

[You got it,] Ethan replied as the red beam hit his body and he returned to his ball.

"Let's go, Nebby!" I shouted.

Nebby roared and an Ultra Wormhole appeared in front of us and Nebby jumped right through. Running through Ultra Space, we raced past portals that led to other worlds, though I'd barely visited most of the ones I was seeing. "So where are we going?" I asked Nebby, holding on to his mane.

[I'm not completely sure. I'm just trusting my instincts and heading towards whatever is causing this unease,] Nebby replied.

"That's not exactly reassuring," I noted.

[That makes two of us,] Nebby replied.

Just then, I heard something behind us and I looked to see something that had my eyes widened with shock. "Oh Distortion World," I muttered. I felt Nebby look back as well at the sight of Dawn Wings Necrozma heading right for us.

[When did Necrozma get Lunala? I thought its light was satisfied?] Nebby questioned in surprise.

"This must be another one. One that still needs light. Why it's following us I don't know but we've gotta move. Now!" I responded.

Nebby faced forwards and increased speed, trying to put some distance between us and Necrozma, but it was still gaining. It then unleashed a Prismatic Laser at us, sending multiple lasers towards me and Nebby, some of which hit the Sun Legendary, knocking him off course and almost throwing me off.

"We've gotta fight back. Hit it hard Nebby! Sunsteel Strike!" I called out.

Nebby recovered and quickly turned around and his body glowed brightly as he was surrounded by a yellow-orange glow and he slammed into Dawn Wings Necrozma hard.

"Let's get out of here! Get us back home!" I called out as Necrozma floated away. Nebby turned and continued running, this time trying to find the portal for our world.

A teal blue beam then grazed Nebby's side, causing him to lean to the opposing side and throwing me off. "Nebby!" I shouted in panic.

Nebby seemed to recover quickly and ran towards me but was intercepted by Necrozma as it grabbed Nebby with its black arms. Nebby attempted to break free with Zen Headbutt, but Necrozma wasn't budging. The last I saw was Nebby struggling to fight Necrozma off before I found myself falling through a white portal that was way off the normal dimension tunnels.

"Oh this isn't good," I muttered as the light from the portal blinded my eyes.

Japan: Musutafu: U.A. High School: Training Ground Beta:

Third Person POV

Izuku Midoryia had been feeling a whole range of emotions today; excitement, joy, stress, anxiety, fear, pain. Today the class of Hero Course 1A was being through mock heroes-vs-villains combat training, and Izuku found himself paired with a pretty girl named Ochako Uraraka, both the training and who he was partnered with made him excited. The bad part: It was the first time he got to use his Quirk in official training, and he knew it was unstable and could damage his body severely. And to make matters worse, he had to go up against his friend Katuski Bakugou, as well as another student named Tenya Iida, but Izuku was more worried about Katuski than anyone else, and based on the death-giving glares Katsuki was giving Izuku, he was right. And terrified.

The match had started as Izuku had expected. He and Uraraka entered the building through a window and were shortly attacked by Bakugou, who focused on Izuku immediately while Uraraka moved to find the bomb on Izuku's orders. Bakugou hunted Izuku down, sending explosions left and right in an attempt to find him.

Now, the two teens were in a face-off, Izuku's green jumpsuit in shatters from Bakugou's explosives and looking horribly beaten up. Bakugou and Izuku then charged at each other, Izuku preparing to finally use his Quirk when something happened that froze both of them in their tracks.

A white portal opened up in the ceiling, whose presence caused the two to stop as the portal emitted unworldly crackling sounds. Looking closer, the portal was a gray-white with darker gray lines in a spider-web design that sucked in endlessly into the portal.

Seconds later, a scream was heard through the portal and a figure could be seen heading towards the exit. The scream and the figure grew louder and larger before the portal dropped its occupant into the room, sending dust and loose pieces of debris everywhere before it vanished with a hiss.

"Ugh. Ahh. Damn, that hurts," a voice said through the dust and the two teens could see a humanoid figure pull itself out of the rubble as the dust cleared.

Once it settled, the teens could see a human male that appeared around the same age, if not older than the two, with white skin, short blond hair that was sticking out in several places, likely from crashing onto the ground, and wearing a dark blue shirt with an open black sports jacket, dark-blue jeans, black shoes and socks, and black fingerless gloves. On his neck was a necklace with a black crystal in the shape of a circle with a multi-colored stone in the center with a black band on his left wrist and a white one on his right. His eyes then opened suddenly to reveal they were a bright amber.

He then looked around and spotted Izuku and Bakugou, who were both looking at the teen with surprise. The teen then seemed to realize something and started looking around for something. "Nebby! Nebby! Where are you Nebby?!" he shouted into the wind.

As the teen shouted for this 'Nebby', both Hero Course students regained their composure, though Bakugou acted first.

"Hey! Blondie!" he shouted. The teen looked confused for a second before pointing to himself. "Yeah, you! Who else is blond around here?" Bakugou questioned.

"I mean, you are, so there's that. Look, as interesting as this all is, I don't have time. I've gotta find Nebby-" the teen started.

"Don't you ignore me!" Bakugou shouted, popping small explosions in his hands.

The teen's reaction was immediate, as he backed off slightly and held his right arm in front of him while his left reached towards the left side of his belt and he seemed to tense up. "How can you do that? You're human, yet you can use moves like a Pokémon. That shouldn't be possible. Unless…" the teen started before his amber eyes widened in shock and fear, but that quickly turned to anger. "Who did this to you? Team Rocket? Team Plasma? Some rouge elements of the Aether Foundation? Did one or all of them create some kind of Human-Pokémon hybrid? Will they not learn their boundaries?" he questioned with a mix of worry and anger.

Izuku was pretty confused at this point. Who were these Team Rocket, Team Plasma, and Aether Foundation? What was a Pokémon? Who was Nebby that this guy was looking for? What were these 'moves' he was talking about? Bakugou was asking the same questions, though was getting more angrier than confused.

First, that weird portal stops his fight with that damn Deku, then this Blondie was now ranting about some stupid shit while ignoring him. And he was calling him a Poké-whatever. "This fucker is going to get it," Bakugou decided.

"Screw this! I'm going to blast you right to hell then get some answers out of you, you Blond piece of shit!" Bakugou shouted, charging a blast in his right hand and preparing a right hook.

The teen suddenly grabbed something and in the blink of an eye, there was a white flash and a massive explosion. Bakugou was then suddenly sent flying back as a fist came from the smoke and slammed him into the wall, cracking it. Izuku turned and could now see a creature standing in front and to the side of the teen, who now had a serious expression.

It was a bipedal creature that stood just short of seven feet with gray skin with plates of silver armor. The armor on its head has two pairs of holes with horns protruding from the foremost holes. Its forehead plating extended past its upper jaw in a small point. It had sky-blue eyes and two nostril-like holes on the tip of its upper jaw. On the rim of its mouth were several pointed, fang-like protrusions and the nape of its neck and back had gray-silver armor sections, with wide, blunt spikes on its shoulders and gray-silver bands on its arms and legs. Its hands and feet have three claws each and a thick, long, black tail. Just under its head was a band that held a pale blue-gray stone with a white and silver-gray swirl in it.

"Thank's Bulwark. That was close," the teen told the creature, who responded with a series of low roars and growls.

Izuku looked at the creature that seemed like something out of science fiction or fantasy in a mixture of shock, awe, and fear. "He called it Bulwark. Is that its name?" he questioned.

He wasn't sure if it was the design of the armor, or Bulwark was actually glaring in anger at Bakugou, who was just starting to regain his bearings. Izuku swallowed nervously as he moved away slowly.

"Get ready. I'm not sure if this guy wants to keep going or not," the teen said with a hint of worry as he dropped down slightly and Bulwark grunted in what seemed to be agreement.

"What the hell is that thing?!" Bakugou questioned loudly, staring at Bulwark.

The creature let loose a roar in defiance before the teen stepped forward a bit. "Look, hybrid, or whatever you are, you can't win. So stop attacking, and we can talk this out. We can be reasonable," the teen stated calmly.

"Shut the hell up! Don't you tell me what to fucking do, you Blondie fuck! I'll kill that shitty metal rhino-looking fucker and then move on to you, shit-head!" Bakugou shouted in response, popping more explosions in his hands.

"All right then. Seems we're doing this the hard way," the teen said before pulling out a small, circular device with a red top and white bottom split by a black line and a white button in the center. He pressed the button and the ball expanded. "I'll just have to battle then capture you to quell that temper of yours," he continued, narrowing his eyes.

"Don't you make fun of me you motherfucker!" Bakugo shouted, popping explosions in his hands.

"Ready Bulwark?" the teen asked, the creature roaring in response. The teen smirked. "Figured you were. Let's size him up a bit. Dragon Claw!" he shouted.

The creature formed two green energy claws around both its claws and charged at Bakugou with surprising speed for a creature of its size and build. Bakugou managed to use his explosions to dodge out of the way as the creature swiped where Bakugo was, tearing through the wall and floor like they were made of butter.

"Faster than he looks. Limit his movement! Stone Edge!"

The creature slammed a fist on the ground and multiple glowing blue stone spears erupted across the room and one of them got lucky, slamming Bakugou in the stomach.

"Flash Cannon!"

The creature closed its mouth before letting out a beam of metal and light towards Bakugou, who managed to recover in time and blast himself out of the way, using a lot of smaller explosions to prevent himself from hitting the jagged stones, which had now stopped glowing and were a stone gray color but remained in the room.

"Try to lock him down and use Dragon Claw!" the teen commanded.

From behind a small amount of ruble, Izuku was stunned by what he was witnessing. It didn't just look unnatural, but it also had multiple Quirks. First those energy claws, then it could make jagged stones appear from the floor from nowhere, and now beams of light and metal. "This thing is giving Kacchan a hard time. And if it already has three Quirks, who's to say it doesn't have more! What is this thing? And why does it listen to that guy without question?" Izuku questioned as Bakugou barely managed to dodge a Dragon Claw from the creature, but slammed into a stone pillar instead.

"Ice Punch! Pin it to one of the stones!" the teen shouted.

The creature moved with its fist coated in a freezing mist towards Bakugou, who managed to fire a massive explosion in the creature's face, throwing himself and the creature into opposing walls, the creature harder than Bakugou.

"Bulwark! Are you alright?!" the teen shouted in worry as he ran up to stand beside the creature.

The creature let out a low pained roar but still moved to stand again. The teen then looked at Bakugou, who was now standing as well as he gave a feral snarl, which the creature roared in a challenge.

"Arceus, this thing is tough. Must have a lot of HP, but it looks worn out," the teen noted.

Bakugou then leveled his left gauntlet towards the teen and the metal creature, pulling the handle back to reveal a pin. "This time, I'll blow you both straight to hell! Die!" Bakugou shouted as he pulled the pin and the gauntlet unleashed a massive explosion.

"Bulwark, Stone Edge! Then Mega Evolve!" the teen yelled as his left hand grasped the stone on his necklace and the creature slammed its fist into the ground and a wall of the stone pillars sprung up in front of the creature.

The room was then filled with smoke as the explosion slammed into the wall of stones. It was so thick, that neither Bakugou nor Izuku noticed the rainbow light emitting from where the creature and the teen stood.

As the smoke started to clear, the two heroes in training heard the teen's voice. "I must say, you're pretty good, forcing me to use this. But let's make one thing clear," he started as the smoke cleared to reveal the two, the creature now looking different than before. "We are the ones who are winning this battle!" he shouted as the creature let out a powerful roar, unleashing some kind of rainbow energy and a rainbow symbol that looked similar to DNA appeared in front of it before disappearing.

The creature was now taller, bulkier, and more heavily plated than its previous state. The horns on its forehead were now shorter, and it now had a third, wider horn on its nose. A spike projected downward from both its upper and lower jaw, the protrusions on its shoulders were longer and curved toward its head, and new spikes thrust from holes in its armbands. Its tail was also thicker with two bands around it

Both Bakugou and Izuku were in shock at what they were seeing, Izuku more so as he tried to figure out how the creature had so many Quirks.

"Use Dragon Claw!"

The creature then took off and slammed into Bakugou with its glowing green claws. Under normal circumstances, Bakugou would have easily dodged an attack like that, but the explosive teen was still in shock of seeing the creature shrugging off his strongest attack like it was nothing that when he clued in, it was too late.

"Pin it quickly with Ice Punch, then trap it with Stone Edge!" the older teen shouted.

The creature wasted no time and punched Bakugou further into the wall with an icy fist, freezing Bakugou to the wall before the creature slammed its foot on the ground and five stone pillars appeared from the ground and trapped Bakugou further.

"That should do it. Now, go Poké Ball!" the older teen shouted, throwing the red and white device towards Bakugou's head, hitting him and opening with red energy emitting from the ball before it suddenly closed and fell to the ground with a click.

The older teen and the creature were a bit surprised by what just happened while Izuku was confused. "Well, that was anticlimactic," the teen stated and the creature growled in agreement as its body shimmered and rainbow-colored energy came off the creature and it returned to its previous form.

"I guess maybe because he's part human the capture system doesn't completely recognize him as a Pokémon, which is weird. How did whoever created him plan to control him if he couldn't be caught? Or was that the point?" the teen asked himself in thought as he picked up the device. He then noticed Izuku, peeking his head out from behind a piece of rubble looking fearfully at the metal creature.

"Uh… Hey there. Sorry if I scared you with that battle. I can get a little too into it when the battle is hard and intense. Not to mention a little exciting," the older teen apologized, putting the spherical device away.

"Hehehe. Yeah, it… was a little scary," Izuku admitted but started to calm down a bit.

"Soooo… maybe we should talk about all this. Try to clear the air a bit," the older teen suggested.

"Y-yeah! We can talk. Honestly, I wanted to do that anyways but uh…" Izuku started, gesturing slightly to the still knocked-out Bakugou as he stepped out from behind the rubble.

"Yeah, that guy seems like the 'attack-first-ask-questions-never' kind. Anyway, my name's Alec. Alec Kirkland," he introduced himself.

"Izuku Midoriya. Nice meeting you," Izuku replied with a slight bow.

"The feeling's mutual, Izuku," Alec replied, much to the surprise of the green-haired teen, but didn't dwell too much on it before giving the creature a questioning look.

"So, uhhhh… nice, metal, bipedal, rhino, thing," he said awkwardly, trying to break the ice a bit.

Alec's eyes widened slightly before he smiled. "Oh, thanks. He's an Aggron, but I call him Bulwark. He's helped me out in a lot of battles, and I'm certainly proud of him," Alec stated, petting the sides of Bulwark's neck before he bent down so Alec could better scratch under his chin, which got a low rumble from his throat. "So… what's up with this Pokémon? From the looks of it he seemed to be going after you before I dropped in," Alec asked, gesturing to Bakugou.

Izuku gave him a weird look before saying, "Kacchan isn't a Pokémon. And what is a Pokémon? I've never heard of them."

"You're kidding, right?" Alec asked, with a confused expression. "You mean to tell me that this guy shooting explosives and fire out of his hands and that weird gauntlet, plus taking a hit from Stone Edge to the stomach, which has happened to me before and that's not something you just walk-off, and he's not a Pokémon! And how do you not know what a Pokémon is when there's one standing right next to me?!" Alec questioned, slowly increasing in volume while gesturing to Bakugou before taking a 'behold' stance and aiming it towards Bulwark.

Izuku blinked twice before replying, "That's just Kacchan's Quirk. He can produce explosions from his sweat, but he's definitely human."

"What in Distortion World is a Quirk?" Alec asked.

"I think we need to explain a few things to one another. Try to figure things out," Izuku suggested.

"That sounds like a great idea," Alec said with a tired sigh.

Before the two could start though, a large, muscular man with blond hair with two strands going into the air at the front, sunken eyes stepped out into the room.

"Young man, I don't know entirely what happened, but I ask that you come with me," he said politely in a deep voice, but with a hint of warning.

"What?! All Might, surely that's a bit drastic," Izuku started but Alec held up his hand.

"Don't worry, Izuku. I'll go with him without a fuss. This might be a good chance for us to clear everything up," Alec told him.

"I appreciate it. Let's go, the sooner we start the better," the man, now identified as All Might, said. Alec returned Bulwark to his ball and he and Izuku followed the man, two robots with a stretcher coming in to break out and carry away the unconscious Bakugou.

A few hours later: Alec's POV

Well, I can confirm that this whole thing has gone to the Distortion World and back then back to the Distortion World again. I was currently sitting around a table with a bunch of other people who were "Heroes" and the teachers of this school. From the sounds of it, my arrival had caused all the students to be confined to their homerooms while they tried to sort this whole mess out.

For the past few hours, me and the heroes exchanged a whole lot of questions to try and get on the same page, and now I was starting to get it.

"Okay, let me just ask this to see if we're clear; in this world, there are no Pokémon at all, and what I call Pokémon are just animals and don't have any moves or abilities, but instead humans have powers and you call them 'Quirks' and work like superheroes from comic books. That's pretty crazy," I said.

"Yes, and let me know if I understand this clearly; in your world, animals are called Pokémon and possess Quirks, and can possess multiple Quirks, at most four at a time, and are interchangeable Quirks, while people don't. And you use Pokémon for fighting while keeping them in these things called Poké Balls? That's also crazy," a scruffy-looking hero with a scarf around his neck by the name of Erasure Head, real name Shota Aizawa, asked back.

I sat up in my seat and let out a sigh of exhaustion. "You're telling me. I've traveled to a lot of other dimensions before but this one takes the cake for being the strangest," I stated.

"So, you've done this before?" a female hero by the name of Midnight, real name Nemuri Kayama, asked.

"Yeah. Loads of times. But I've never encountered this dimension before, and I'd think I'd know if I did," I said before a thought came to mind. "Either me getting knocked off of Nebby threw me into this dimension, or your dimension's Ultra Space portal opening up caused the disturbance I was investigating in the first place."

"Wait, so you aren't the one who actually travels through dimensions?" Present Mic, real name Hizashi Yamada, asked.

"Technically, no. Nebby has the power to travel through dimensions. I'm just along for the ride," I explained.

"And who's Nebby?" All Might asked.

"He's a legendary Pokémon that can evolve and represents the sun and is also an Ultra Beast, which is how he can travel through Ultra Space," I answered.

"Okay, I'm going to pretend I understood that," Mic muttered.

"Basically, he's a really powerful and rare Pokémon that has the ability to travel to other dimensions at will," I simplified.

"You mentioned this 'Ultra Space' before. What exactly is it?" Aizawa asked.

"To make a long story short, it's basically what exists between dimensions. And these dimensions are usually lined up in what are called Ultra Streams, which are corridors for faster travel between dimensions. Like ocean currents," I explained.

"So, did you come here on purpose when you and 'Nebby' were traveling through dimensions trying to investigate this, disturbance, you mentioned earlier?" Midnight asked.

"Well, that's a story of its own. I was going to visit an old friend of mine in the nearby Johto region when I got a call from my father, who helps to take care of all my other Pokémon, and told me that Nebby was acting up for the past few days. I flew back on another one of my Pokémon and when I got there, Nebby explained to me that he'd picked up a disturbance in Ultra Space, so I-" I started when Aizawa interrupted.

"Hold on, you said that these Pokémon are animals, right?" he asked and I nodded. "Then how could you understand what 'Nebby' was telling you, unless he could talk?"

"Well, on my world, I'm what's called a Speaker. We were some of the first humans who attempted to live peacefully with Pokémon and were given a gift by the Legendary Pokémon of Life, Xerneas, that allowed us and our descendants to understand Pokémon. I know that it sounds like a Quirk, but humans and Pokémon were once one species. All Xerneas did was activate the dormant gene that allowed us to communicate with Pokémon," I explained.

"Okay, I guess that makes sense. Continue," Aizawa told me.

"So, anyway, after Nebby told me about the disturbance in Ultra Space, the two of us entered to see if we could find what was happening. Nebby mostly relied on instinct to try and find whatever was causing it, when we were attacked by another Ultra Beast that could freely travel between dimensions and had fused with another Pokémon, Necrozma, who had fused with Lunala, Nebby's counterpart who represents the moon. I knew Nebby, despite his power, wasn't a good match-up against Necrozma, so I told Nebby to head back to our dimension, thinking either we could get away, or Necrozma would follow us and I could level the playing field a bit once we were back home. I wasn't about to use any of my other Pokémon in Ultra Space. While we were escaping, Nebby was hit and I was sent through a random Ultra Wormhole that brought me to that ruined building," I finished. I then leaned back in my seat. "I do hope Nebby's okay though. Last I saw, he was still struggling to break free from Necrozma so I hope he at least escaped."

"Sounds like you had an interesting adventure, young man," a white rat-like creature said, entering the room.

"A Pokémon?!" I shouted in surprise at seeing the creature.

"No, not a Pokémon. I'm the principal of U.A. High School, Nezu," he introduced himself kindly.

"Huh, well, that's good to know now before I accidentally throw a Poké Ball at you. Honestly, if I didn't know better I'd say you look like a weird shiny Rattata or some other rodent Pokémon in a tux," I admitted sheepishly.

Nezu simply smiled. "Well, not all of us are okay with being beaten to near exhaustion or death, forcibly confined in a small, ball-shaped prison, and used to battle other creatures to the death for the entertainment of others. And that's not mentioning the Stockholm Syndrome," Nezu stated.

The teachers were in shock at the principal's words towards me. I was shocked as well by his words, but it quickly turned into rage and I stood up while slamming my hands on the table so hard it cracked at the impact, but I didn't care.

"What kind of person do you think I am?!" I shouted, causing everyone to flinch but I was focused on Nezu. "First of all, unless you use a special kind of ball, it's near impossible to catch a Pokémon without weakening it! I've tried with a simple Pidgey and I've gotten pecked because of it! Second, Poké Balls aren't prisons, they were designed as a safe way to store Pokémon! Their matter is converted into energy and puts them in a comfortable sleep-like state! Third, Pokémon Battling is an international sport! There are strict rules, guidelines, and regulations that are all in place to prevent Pokémon from dying, and fights are done until the opponent is knocked out! Fourth, there is no Stockholm Syndrome! When a Pokémon is caught, they become tame so they can receive commands, but they are still capable of doing what they want, when they want! A lot of the time I've had Pokémon willingly join me because they want to!"

When I finished my shouting, everyone was silent and I took a deep breath to calm myself. "And for the record, I find you saying such things as a bit hypocritical. You take children with powers, make them fight against each other, and train them to fight other people before sending them out to fight other people with powers. So are you really one to talk?" I spoke in a calm, but dangerous tone.

Everyone in the room was in complete shock now at me going on Nezu.

"I, uh… I see your point. I guess it was a bit hypocritical of me," Nezu admitted.

The room was quiet for a bit before Aizawa broke the silence. "So, is there no way for you to get home?" he asked.

"Without Nebby, I don't really have a way of getting home. The Pokémon I have with me don't have the capabilities to travel between dimensions, and if Nebby was captured by Necrozma, then I'm stranded unless someone else with a Solgaleo or Lunala enters this dimension," I answered.

"Is there really no way you can call your friends and have them bring you home?" Midnight asked calmly, placing a hand on my shoulder.

I sighed before slumping into my seat. "I have a few Pokémon who might be able to get me home, but I can't get their Poké Balls. My Pokétransporter can't seem to pull them out, and even then I'm not sure they can do it. Ultra Wormholes are a tricky thing," I answered.

"Pokétransporter?" Mic asked.

I pulled out a metallic, ellipsoid-shaped device large enough that I had to hold it with two hands, with a clear circle on the top with buttons on the front. I pressed the large, red button in the center and the device opened up to reveal a flat, blue-green checkerboard pattern across the inside. "This device allows me to pull any of my Pokémon from the storage area where I asked my father to keep them. High mountains, deep jungles, endless deserts, dark caves, deep ocean, frozen wastelands, this has never failed me. But I guess it can't access other dimensions," I explained.

Another round of silence followed before Mic broke it. "Wait, so that thing is basically a PC where you keep your Pokémon?"

"Well, it's more of a portable transporter. I use buttons on the front to select the Pokémon I want, then press the red button to bring them to my location. Then, I place the Pokémon I want to return on the device and it sends them back. This is just a prototype my dad's company invented, but it's worked well so far. He's considering releasing this as a high-value item for trainers," I answered.

"Ooooooooooh. I don't get it," Mic replied.

I just sighed in annoyance at that and didn't respond to Mic. "Well, the most a trainer can carry is six Pokémon at a time. Any more and they automatically get sent to a predetermined storage area, usually with a region's Pokémon Professor who will hang on to the Pokémon for safe-keeping until the trainer asks for it. And right now, I only have these six," I added, placing a Premier ball, two Dusk Balls, two Ultra Balls, and one Standard Poké Ball on the table. "Since my Pokétransporter can't seem to work between dimensions, I'm stuck with them like a Shelder on a Slowbro."

I then picked up the Premier Ball and pressed the button to expand it before throwing it into the air and it popped open. Ethan appeared in white light and a brief amount of sparkles before shaking his body.

[Alright, what have we gotten ourselves into now?] he asked with a hint of sarcasm while the heroes looked at him with curiosity.

"The 'we're stuck' kind, Ethan," I answered.

Nezu then cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. "Well, seeing as everything has come to light, I believe it would be in everyone's best interest if you were to stay here at U.A. until you are able to travel back to your world," he suggested.

"What?!" the heroes, except Aizawa and All Might, asked with a mixture of confusion and surprise.

"You just want to keep an eye on me and to make sure I don't use my magical beasts to kill you all and take over the world or something like that, right?" I asked plainly.

"In a manner of speaking, yes," Nezu replied with no hesitation.

[To be fair, we'd probably do the same if something like this happened to us,] Ethan pointed out.

"Yeah, that's fair," I responded to both Nezu and Ethan. "Speaking of which, sorry for almost obliterating one of your students earlier. The blond kid with the explosions and bad temper," I added.

"Oh, don't worry about it too much. Mistakes happen, and I reviewed the footage and could see you were just defending yourself from an unprovoked attack. When young Bakugou recovers, we'll be sure to have a strict talk about professional behavior for a hero," Nezu replied, still smiling. The other teachers nodded in agreement, and I decided to let it go from there. I was fine with the teachers handling him.

"Speaking of healing, I'm guessing you don't have a Pokémon Center?" I asked.

"Uh… Pokémon Center?" All Might asked with clear confusion.

I sighed for the nth time in the past few hours and sweatdropped. "Let's just say we have a few things to discuss," I stated.
