Chapter 1: Prologue: The Arrival
It has been a year-and-a-half since the war of the Best.
It starts when Luffy and his crew were separated by Bartholomew Kuma's Devil Fruit then Luffy ends up in Amazon Lily a tribe of female pirates leads by one of the Warlords of the sea and the Pirate Empress: Boa Hancock(who becomes Luffy's enemy at first but then earns her respect and her affection)then with the female warlord's assistance Luffy breaks into Impel Down after hearing of his brother's capture at the hands of Blackbeard.
Luffy meets up with Buggy the clown and Mr 2(a former member of Baroque Works)who both agree to rescue Ace but then go their separate ways then Luffy reunites with Bon Clay(a man who ate the Clone-Clone fruit).
After being poisoned by the Jail Warden: Magellan, Bon Clay takes the Strawhat to Ivankov(a member of the Revolutionary Army) to heal his friend.
After barely escaping death Ivankov assists Luffy to save Ace only to find out his brother has been transferred to Marine Headquarters for his execution. So Luffy and the Rebels make through each prison floor level(But not before releasing Mr. Crocodile, a pirate that Luffy hates).
During the jailbreak the gang encounter Hannyabal a vice-Warden(who fights against Luffy but barely manages to stay alive however he gets knocked out by Blackbeard).
Luffy confronts Blackbeard about his brother's capture and tries to fight against the pirate only to get his Devil-fruit powers to drain by Blackbeard's Dark-Dark Fruit power.
Jimbei(Former Warlord)convinces Luffy to not waste his time with Blackbeard and leaves with the prisoners and the rebels after hearing Warden Magellan was hot on their trail.
After barely escaping death at the hands of Warden Magellan(Who poisons Ivankov and Inazuma in a fight)Luffy and the prisoners escape on Ivankov's large hair and get taken by whale sharks to a marine ship that Jimbei and some prisoners hijacked.
However, things got a bit sour when the gang came to the large door entrance to Impel Down's area.
Luffy finds out that his friend Bon Clay stays behind(who disguised as Warden Magellan to open the door gates)but Jimbei gives a transponder snail that connected to one that Bon Clay has.
After some tearful words and encouragement from Bon Clay(who starts his fight against Magellan, Luffy, and the prisoners managed to escape.
As Whitebeard and his allies arrive at Marine Headquarters the war begins, after some struggling and the fall of Little Oars Jr, Whitebeard Pirates make their way through the path that Oars made due to his enormous body.
Later Monkey D Garp goes to the execution platform to sit by his grandson Ace.
After some talk about the time he spends with his grandsons Ace and Luffy, Garp questions himself about what he should and asked Ace that "Ace, why did you listen to me and done what I asked?"
Then out of the blue(or rather the sky) Luffy and the people that he escaped with from Impel Down arrive. Mr. Crococile attempts to kill whitebeard but only to be stopped by Luffy.
Whitebeard questions Luffy's reason for being at Marine Headquarters but only to be yelled at by Luffy(who challenges him to be the next king of the Pirates).
Luffy pressures against each of the marines soldiers only to be overpowered by Smoker however gets his ass saved by Boa Hancock(Due to her Haki).
Luffy continues his way to his brother. However, things get insane when one of Whitebeard's allies Squard(who was confronted by Admiral Akainu and was told a lie about Whitebeard).
After some talk with Whitebeard(who hugs Squard)tells Squard he still loves him like a son and joins the battle.
After the battle gets tougher for Luffy, his conquerer's Haki is awoken which left some speechless while others saw how strong Luffy is. Luffy makes his to the execution platform only to be confronted by Garp.
Luffy refuses to fight his grandpa(despite the relationship he had with him)only to insist by Garp that he must fight him.
Garp begins to remember his times with Luffy and Ace only for him to put his family first before his job which gave Luffy an opening to hit his grandpa in the jaw knocking him to the ground.
Luffy finally gets to Ace but things get tough when Fleet Admiral Sengoku transforms into a golden-like statue creature.
Mr 2 assist Luffy by covering Ace and himself in a candle wax while Luffy uses his third gear to make his Gum-Gum Balloon ability big enough to block the Fleet Admiral's attack and then Luffy gets a wax key to unlock the shackles that cuffed his brother's hands.
Ace is finally freed and makes his way with his brother Luffy to escape with his friends.
However, the marines weren't going to let them go easily. After a fight some marines and Admiral Aokijo the two brothers continue their way to the marine ship that whitebeard's allies hijacked.
Squard and his crew attempted to stall the marines only to be stopped by Whitebeard(himself)who orders his crew and allies to leave him behind much to their dismay but after some insisting the pirates have no choice but leave along with rebels.
Admiral Akainu then badmouths Whitebeard getting the attention of Ace who confronts the admiral and tries to fight against him only to be knocked to the ground. Akainu then tries to attack Luffy but is shielded by his brother but took a fatal hit.
To Luffy's horror Ace's injury is more fatal than ever. Ace then tells his brother "There is one thing that hurts, I won't be around to see you fulfill your dream but I know you can do it because your my brother, thanks for accepting me"
Luffy's spirit is shattered death of his brother leaving him to collapse due emotionally and to be nearly attacked by Akainu but is saved by Marco the Phoenix.
After some strong words from Marco, the pirates continue to fight as Whitebeard rages against Akainu but only be injured in the process.
Whitebeard then endures the pain and finishes off Akainu creating a large crack that leads to Marine Headquarters and for Akainu to fall in the crack.
Blackbeard and his crew arrive and fight against Whitebeard.
Whitebeard barely holds his ground due to Blackbeard's devil fruit power.
Whitebeard injures his former crew member using his spear and uses some of Tremor-Tremor Fruit to deal damage.
Blackbeard barely alive is about to be finished off only for him to take out a pistol and his crew to unleash a barrage of attacks.
Whitebeard barely alive makes a confirmation of the One Piece Existence and dies leaving his crew and allies to tears.
After trying to escape things intense and bloody when the Marines continue a shoot down Whitebeard's crew and allies. Both sides getting killed and injured as injured marines getting left to die.
Seeing enough Coby pleads the Marines to stop the pointless fighting much to the shock of Garp.
Akainu attempts to kill Coby only to be saved by Red Head Shanks one of the Four Emperors.
Shanks ends the war and requests that he will take the bodies of Ace and Whitebeard knowing that the marines would hang their corpses up like trophies.
Sengoku reluctantly agrees as announces the war is over and that Navy won.
After the War of the Best is over. Luffy is taken away by Trafalgar D Law a Doctor and Captain of the Heart Pirates out to sea. After sealing up Luffy's wound(which he got after being attacked by Akainu and escaping in Jimbei's arms).
Boa Hancock meets up with Law and his crew agreeing to take them to her island. Nyon an elder woman refuses to let Law and his crew on the island(due to Amazon Lily Maiden's rule)but reluctantly agrees after hearing how bad Luffy's wound is and realizing that Law's equip is the only reason that Luffy is still alive.
After awakening in Law's submarine, Luffy goes insane and is followed by Jimbei deep into the jungle.
Luffy drowns in sorrow and starting to doubt himself to be the future king of the pirates. Jimbei attempts to talk to despairedLuffy.
When Luffy continues to blindly attack against the former warlord Jimbei gives the straw hat captain words that start to get through to him "You're blind, you never doubted your strength, your brother was your guiding light, that light now has vanished that your enemies stand so tall makes you cower in darkness and now you strike like the animal that the cage that has been placed around your heart"
Luffy remembers the strong enemies he faced and how they managed to overpower him.
Jimbei then says his final words "As long as you're consumed by regret and guilt you will never find your way forward, your pain may be great but it mustn't devour you, there is joy beyond your sorrows, what's gone may be gone, but you still have something you can treasure, DON'T YOU!?"
Luffy remembers his crew and the promise they all made to each other.
Rayleigh a former pirate and vice-captain of Gold D Roger then shows up and requests Luffy to think about returning to Sabaody thus reminding the rubber man of his encounter with Admiral Kizaru and Sentomaru.
Luffy reappears at Marine Headquarters and rings a bell there and leaves after dropping some flowers in a nearby crack in the ground.
Luffy leaves with Rayleigh to train and learn about the power of Haki(including the three types of Haki). It was also revealed that other Strawhat crew read the newspaper and saw written on Luffy's arm, realizing that Luffy wants his crew to meet up at Sabaody in 2 years instead of three days.
All of the Strawhat members, Usopp, Nami, Nico Robin, Roronoa Zoro, Brook, Sanji, and Tony Tony Chopper get the order of their captain and decide to train for the next 2 years before they reunite again.
Usopp trains with Heracles and wants to learn more about the island Boin Archipelago seeds.
Nami studies the weather and the tech that the wizards, to learn more about their meteorology on Weatheria Sky Island.
Sanji trains with Ivankov and his cross-dressing men of Newkama Kenpo.
Chopper begins to study the herbs and plants in the Torino Kingdom.
Robin works with Dragon and the Revolutionary Army.
Franky finds a former lab of Dr. Vegapunk and rebuilds himself based on Vegapunk's abandoned projects.
Brook finds himself in the middle of a feud between humans and long-arm tribe, found himself enslaved and shown off as oddity until he becomes a celebrity across the Grand Line.
Zoro trains with his enemy but for now master Dracule Mihawk(A Warlord).
As the Strawhat pirates begin their training as determined to get stronger knowing they aren't strong enough to survive in the New World. They all agree to meet up with their Captain in 2 years.
A Year Later passes as more pirates show up around the world while others began to make their way to the New World.
1 year later passes with several months to go.
Some of Fairy Tail wizards along with one wizard of Mermaid Heel and one from Sabertooth Guild and the former assassins of Night Raid were sucked into the portal along with Demons of Tartaros.
As they entered the portal which leads them into the sky and them each of them turned into lights sending them all in different directions in the Grand Line.
Times passes
On Amazon Lily.
Boa Hancock was having to look at her calendar. "It's been a year since Luffy left to train with Dark King Rayleigh." An image of Luffy flowed into her mind. "Luffy, my love I can't wait to see you again, and hopefully we'll get married!"
"Noo!" A voice rang out it was the elder Islander Gloriosa. "Snake Princess, this is no time for daydreaming remember if the Marines find out about our alliance with Luffy, we'll all get into serious trouble!"
As much as Snake princess hated to admit it the elder woman was right however that didn't stop her from hoping that Luffy and her will together someday.
The Kuja Pirates did their usually walk around the island.
One of them known as Marguerite was thinking about straw hat Luffy. "I wonder how is Luffy doing?"
Daisy had her usual smile. "Don't worry, the boy doing fine, he's with Rayleigh after all."
Sweet Pea agreed. "Right, that boy is sure to meet us soon, after it's been a year and only one more to go before we meet up with him."
Ran giggled. "Yes, Luffy will make it through like he saved our sisters from World, I heard he used quite a strong attack against him."
Aphelandra was happy to hear this. "I just hope Luffy forgives me still for trying to kill him."
Rindo smiled. "Come on, Luffy has forgiven you, he's our friend after all despite him being a man."
In the area Bacura, a large black panther owned by Kuja Pirates under Boa Hancock then perked her head up and looking at the sky.
The Islander Kikyo noticed the black panther's strange behavior. "Bacura, what are you looking at?" The long black-haired woman looked to see a strange light appearing. "Must an enemy!" She noticed Pansy nearby. "Pansy alert the Kuji Pirates now, something from the sky is approaching towards the island!"
Pansy nodded. "Right!"
Pansy alerted Enishida(one of Boa Hancock's attendants)and takes her report to the two gorgon sisters then both of the women rush to Boa Hancock. "Sister Hancock, a strange light is approaching from the sky!"
Boa Hancock was confused but decided to take her sister's words as the light came closer and closer. The blue light crashed into the wilderness of Amazon Lily.
There was Natsu Dragneel and his blue exceed Happy. "Happy...you alright..."
The blue cat was barely awake. "Aye...sir..." The two then fell unconscious as one of the Kuja Pirates Marguerite approached the two. "Is this...a..." She stopped as she noticed the strange blue cat. "A blue cat...?"
She knew she never saw a blue cat and also knew that a blue cat is in the wilderness forest of Amazon Lily.
Ran then appeared and saw the pinkette man. "What is a man doing here?"
Sweet pea arrived. "That light must've been this man and his pet."
Aphelandra gasped in shock. "But a man isn't supposed to be here other than Luffy."
Daisy had a suggestion. "Shall we kill him or bring him to the pirate empress?"
Kikyo then appeared. "This man isn't supposed to be here, normally I think we should kill him and this feline however I think the Empress might want to have a word with him."
Blue Fan then looked happy as usual. "What if he puts up a fight?"
Kikyo already knew that answer. "Then we shall kill him and his pet."
Aphelandra whined a bit. "Aw, this kitty looks so cute though."
Meanwhile on Water 7
Paulie and Galley-La workers were doing their usual work building ships and moving ship parts including other stuff. "Man, things got tough since the war ended, as time goes on more pirates arrive starting trouble due to whitebeard's confirmation of One Piece."
Just the mayor of Water 7 as well as the boss of Galley-La arrived. "Paulie, that may be so however as long as I got you and the others around, Water 7 including Galley-La will keep going well."
The Franky Family along with the two giants from Enies Lobby were doing other stuff helping taking supplies to Galley La's Dock One. "Geez, the war is over but pirates from around the world are causing more damage than before!" A Franky member shouted.
Zambai didn't look too worried. "Hey, don't worry, as long as the Franky Family and our friends keep fighting against those that don't pay or to cause trouble to our island, we'll kick their asses!"
The Square Sisters: Kiwi and Mozu giggled. "Yes, we shall, won't we Mozu?"
"Yes, but we'll help out any way we can," Mozu replied with a giggle.
Koroko was at the sea train station drinking while Chimney and Gonbe were playing with giant Sumo-wrestling Frog Yokozuna in the water. "Ha, ha, to think Strawhat Luffy returned to Marine Headquarters after the war, he must have something in mind." Her left hand was the newspaper. "Hmm, those numbers on his right arm, I wonder if he's sending a message to his crew."
Just then three flashing lights caught her eyes and looked up. "Wha-?"
Chimney suddenly noticed the old lady looking at the sky. "Grandma Kokoro, what's up there?"
Gonbe a cat(but is a rabbit but thinks he's a cat)looked up puzzled. "Meow, meow!"
The three flashing lights then crashed into the water nearby. "This strange, Yokozuna check what just fell in the water, while I contact any of the Franky Family to report this to Iceberg!"
Iceberg was in Dock 1 with Paulie. "Things are going well, however, I have a feeling that more pirates will be here soon and to cause trouble."
Iceberg smirked. "Don't worry so much, let's just keep our hopes up and do our usual work."
Just then Kiwi and Mozu arrived catching their breath. "Iceberg, there is trouble-"
. "Hey you perverts cover your stomachs, I didn't tell ya that this is a man's work area!" Paulie roared out with shark teeth.
The square sisters giggled amusingly. "Oh Paulie, you know you like us in these clothes."
"Don't shy around girls that don't wear shirts."
The two sisters suddenly embraced Paulie making his nose bleed in embarrassment. "Paulie, maybe we should cuddle somewhere later."
"That's enough..."Paulie groaned as his face went red.
The galley-La workers were in awe while some blushed red and others had their mouths open in surprise.
Iceberg cleared his throat. "Kiwi and Mozu, you had something to report, did you not?"
The Square sister released Paulie(who fell on the ground). "Oh right, Kokoro told that three flashing lights crashed into the water near Sea Train Station."
Iceberg gasped quietly. "What?"
"Yeah, Yokozuna is swimming to fish out whatever crashed into the water!" Mozu added.
The large frog-like creature emerged from the water and took out three white-haired teens. "Whoa, two girls and the tall man with the same hair color!" Chimney exclaimed.
Gonbe was surprised. "Meow, meow!"
Kokoro returned to her granddaughter and saw the three white-haired teens. "Oh, my, who are these kids, and where'd they come from?"
Chimney looked closer at the teens. "Grandma Kokoro, I think they're unconscious!"
In the Alabasta Kingdom.
Princess Vivi was reading the newspaper she had previously when Luffy made his reappearance at Marine Headquarters. "This little stud that Luffy made is puzzling still. A tattoo isn't his style, either way, Luffy is alright though and I know if like I think I do he must have something planned."
Outside the desert the town where Koza lived with his father Toto. "Father, remember Luffy reappearing at Marine Headquarters, what do you think of this?"
Toto was relaxing on a chair. "Hmm, Luffy surviving the war after his brother's death was a miracle, I admit that boy must've been a wreck.
Koza agreed with that. "Yeah, I heard he collapsed after his brother died before his eyes, but then he reappears again, takes someone like him to back on his feet."
Toto chuckled. "Heh, heh, like you, I suppose, I remember when you became the leader of the rebel and wanted take down the king." Koza went quiet for a second. "However I know you only wanted to help but in the end, you found out the King of innocent and you learned from your mistakes."
Koza smiled. "Yes, Luffy is back and alive, though I wonder when he plans to meet up with his crew again."
Just then three former rebels noticed something in the sky.
"What is that in the sky?" A rebel asked pointing up.
The 2nd rebel looked closer with his hand over his eyes to block the sun. "What the...?"
The flashing lights were coming down closer. "The lights are coming down..." It didn't take too long for the rebels that realize that the lights were coming towards them and they jumped out of the way as the lights crashed into the sand.
Koza jumped in surprise. "What the hell was that?"
A rebel appeared. "Koza, something landed near Yuba's entrance!"
Koza was confused but went to the entrance to the village and there saw three young girls, one was blonde pigtails, the second with light blue hair, the third with blue hair, and a white cat.
Koza noticed four were unconscious. "Listen up, I want you men to get these girls and their cat to my house, and I'll go to report this Alabasta's King Cobra too!"
"Sir!" The rebels saluted.
Koza told his father about what happened and his father decided he and the rebels will keep an eye on the girls and their cat while the former rebel leader went to the Alabasta Kingdom. "Man, three girls and cat falling out of the sky, what is going on here?"
Natsu and Happy land on Amazon Lily.
Elfman, Lisanna, and Mirajane landed in the sea next to the Sea Train Station of Water 7.
Wendy Marvel, Yukino, Lucy, and Carla landed on the outskirts of Yuba village.
Where the others are is yet to be seen in chapter 2.
