Hello and welcome to my first experimental fanfic of Kinsou no Vermeil (aka Vermeil In Gold), in which an inspiration popped into my head in an unexpected way, and this is probably an experiment that I'm going to try out on.
My interest in making a fanfic for this series began when I came across the series by accident when I happened to come across an article on Facebook, and and out of curiosity I checked it on Wikipedia and while the information is limited, I searched the article on Google for more info.
That's where I came across a manga site by accident and after reading the first few chapters the art and plot intrigued me. And as the anime arrived (with two episodes as of now), it further piqued my interest and I decided to read the manga while awaiting for more episodes to be uploaded.
Given the FANSERVICE of the manga and anime (I really wished that Staple Entertainment made an unrated version), an idea popped into my head and decided to make a fanfic that would UPGRADE the FANSERVICE elements of this series, and decided to try making a series of situations involving Alto, and…his two female comrades…
This will be rated M for obvious reasons…

Ch. 1: Kan'nō-tekina kōkin
Ortigia Academy of Magic.
It was summertime and the heat is starting to take its toll on the students, and their familiars, who are looking forward to get out of the classroom and waited for dismissal time to arrive, and at the same time Ortigia Academy has unveiled an expanded swimming pool area inside the campus, much to the students' delights. This was in response to a student who suggests that they should have one since some more and more transfer students came, and some who are attending summer classes, and with the heat wave kicking in, the students are starting to complain about the bad heat and sweating in their school uniform.
Also, the student council took the students' suggestion as they believed that the students shouldn't be reliant on their magic to just quench the summer heat and given the current season at the moment, the student council members suggested to the headmaster to construct a swimming pool so that the students would have something to soothe themselves from the summer heat.
At the student council room, the student council members are having a meeting in regards to the announcement that the swimming pool area is open to the students, and they expected that the students of Ortigia Academy would head there once classes are over, which the council members are expecting it.
The student council members are shown convening and the members in attendance are identified as:

- Shinouji Ryuuga
- Jessica Schwarz
- Chris Westland
The council members question Elena on why she suggested to the headmaster to have a swimming pool built seeing that there is no need for it, but Elena reasoned that it would be impractical for the students to use their magic just to quell the summer heat and believe that they might unknowingly abuse their magic, and that it would be better if the students would go to the swimming pool area of the academy instead of going to the river or pond.

"Are you sure about this…"

After some time, dismissal time arrived, and classes ended, and the students of Ortigia Academy can be heard rejoicing, as they are now heading for the pool area to take a bit of fun.
"WOW! THE SWIMMING POOL'S BEEN OPENED! A REAL SWIMMING POOL! NOW WE WON'T HAVE TO GO OUT AND HEAD TO THE RIVER OR POND!"

Since it was just now, many have trooped inside a new gym area where the pool is made, and Alto Goldfield's classmates were among the swimmers, although he was at the shallow portion of the pool, as he wanted a bit of a "private time" with so many students hogging the pool area, and his classmates urges him to join them in having fun.
"Hey, Alto! Why are you there? Come on…!"
"You guys go ahead…"
"Hey, check it out! I bet Alto can't go to the deep end of the pool!"

Even though Alto knows how to swim, he resented the jokes but opted to ignore them as he basks in the waters to have fun and enjoy himself.
Since their exams ended, Alto and his classmates are looking forward to the training camp, which is due in a few days from now, and the class are looking forward to it as they are excited to look forward to the next season once summer ends.

Several days have passed, and summer vacation at Ortigia Academy commenced, though most of the students didn't feel like going on outside vacation as they opted to binge themselves on the swimming pool and are now enjoying themselves as they get to quell off the summer heat without relying much on their magic.
Meanwhile, Alto is about to spend some time relaxing a bit after working on a term paper, and realizing that he needed something, he sent his familiar, Vermeil, on an errand, and she asked Alto if he is sure about being on his own, which he assured to her that it is okay, as Ortigia Academy is peaceful right now and most of the students are enjoying at the swimming pool area.
"It'll be fine, Vermeil."
"You sure, Master?"
"Yeah."
"Hmm…I'm betting that your planning something ECCHI..."
"O-of course not!"
"Hee-hee…"
"Okay, you better get going. And try avoiding unnecessary fights."
"Yeah, got it…"
After that, Vermeil left as she is going to do the errand, and as Alto is about to go somewhere, he is met by his classmate and childhood friend, Lilia Kudelfeyt, where she invited him to join her in having a relaxing time at the swimming pool area of the academy.
"Eh? The swimming pool?"
"Yeah. We're going to have a bit of swimming…"
"Really?"
"Uh-huh."

Her cute smile and charms somewhat enticed Alto, and he ended up accepting her invitation and the two teens went to changing rooms of the school building to change into their swimsuits so as to have a brief swim at the swimming pool area.
The two teens arrived, where they split up, which Alto went to the locker room area, while Lilia, on the other hand, went to the headmaster's office after a guidance counselor asked her to deliver a letter to him. By the time she went back to the locker, Alto is already in his swimming gear and talked about what they're going to do as they approached at a corner of hallway near the gym area, not noticing that another student is foolishly running around, and carelessly bumped a mop, which fell to the floor and the mop handle was exposed, and an irate, passing teacher walked on it and was tripped.
"OOFF! DAMN IT! WHO TRIPPED ME?"
He looked around and saw Alto and Lilia, and there he vented his anger at the two teens, accusing them of tripping him.
"Sir, we didn't do it! We just got here!"
"That's right. We're on our way to the pool area and…"
The two teens tried to defend themselves, but the teacher did not listen to them, and ordered them to go to detention at once, shouting at them, and even Alto wasn't allowed to change clothes.

At the detention room, the two teens were sitting at their seats as both of them were emotionally shaken by the teacher's action. Lilia was pouting, as she felt humiliated by the teacher's unjustified action, but Alto's quick-witted, but honest comments cheered her up. She then thanked him for cheering her up, which made him smile, seeing that she stopped crying. She then stood behind him, wrapping her arms around him, kissing his cheek.
The teen boy blushed at this as he is close to a girl besides his sister, as well as feeling her breasts pressing his naked back. There she commented that she would make the teacher pay but Alto discouraged her, stating that they should bring this matter to the Headmaster.

They then discussed about how to tell the headmaster about this, however Lilia then got an idea on how to pass up the time, since they were the only ones here, and that no other students were in the campus as they are busy frolicking at the swimming pool due to the ongoing summer heat.

"You know that the janitor is the only one who uses the mop, and the janitor saw that a running student tripped it over, yet you presumed that it was two students who tripped you? You're studying at this Academy, and yet you jumped to conclusion!"
The irate teacher cowered, as he bowed and apologized, and there the headmaster asked another teacher to fetch the two teens from the detention room.
"Looks like I'll have to convince the two students to keep this incident down! You…"

"Go to the detention room, and tell the two students that they're clear from the charges…"
"Will do…"
"Please go now before those two might consider calling their parents and cause a problem…"

At the hallway, Alto and Lilia stared wide-eyed after hearing what Elena told them about what the running student from earlier did, as aside from causing trouble by inadvertently making a teacher blame Alto and Lilia for getting tripped, the student was carrying an illegally-made drug that causes two people to get AROUSED and have SEX.
