I gasped suddenly, eyes flying open as I took my first breath in what feels like forever. I had to close my eyes quickly as they were blinded by a sea of shimmering golden light, the light moving and swaying like it was on a gentle breeze.

I held my head in pain, my memories coming back as to how I ended up here. I had just left work, swearing to finally put my two weeks in when I heard a shout. I remember turning around and seeing a child walking into the road, the mother screaming for them to run back as a delivery truck came down the road.

I didn't even remember thinking, my body just moved, throwing itself at the child, managing to push it out of the way of the truck. Unfortunately I didn't make it, my last memory being extreme pain as my back was crushed under the tires.

I read all the choices, leaning heavily between 1 and 3. I did NOT want to have to deal with either SHIELD or HYDRA. SHIELD was basically HYDRA from its creation till its destruction, and I doubted I would be able to keep SHIELD HYDRA free for 70 years.

I was very tempted by 1, purely for the magic, who didn't dream about getting their letter from Hogwarts. However I was a risk taker, and I loved the idea of walking my own path, so I decided on the Doctor Who Universe.

My eyes were immediately drawn to the 5th option, becoming a Time Lord!?! I didn't even dare to hope that was an option but I immediately chose that. Even with the chance of madness or the Doctor hating me, I could help him by not having him be the last of his kind.

I slammed my hand onto the yes button, if I remembered correctly, 2006 was just in time for the Slitheens plot to blow up the planet, I just couldn't remember the month the Doctor and Rose showed back up. Oh well I'm being put on January the first, 2006 so I don't have a chance of missing them.
