The smell from the sea was salty, the breeze washing over its gentle waves as they crashed and destroyed themselves on the surface of the beach. The sky was murky and settling, the darkness slowly washing the area with a different shade of color. The krabby were all shooting bubbles signifying the end of the day. As tradition must state though, one Pokémon's end of the day just begins another.

In the distance, the slow shuffling of feet could be heard from 2 Pokémon, a sableye and a zoroark. As they came into view they seemed to be arguing with each other, their heights contrastingly different.

Two feet (0.6m) and a dark shade of purple compared to the zoroark's almost five (1.5m) foot body laced with gray, red and black.

As they slowly walked down the beach their conversation started to fill the air with more noise. ''So what was the point of this conversation, Magnus?'' The female zoroark seemed quite displeased and slightly irritated. ''It seems to me that you are already putting too much faith in this kid.''

The sableye simply sighed. ''He's not that young, and his father is MIA.'' He shifted slightly in place with a grimace being shown, he was distressed about the current situation more than anyone else. ''It's the least we can do considering who Haze was, so please show some respect Azrin.''

The zoroark just simply scoffed. ''Magnus, just because someone fucked up does not mean I have to take care of their burdens.''

The sableye glared at her and retaliated. ''For someone who was in the same place years ago, you are surprisingly being repugnant about this. I'm honestly disappointed.''

The zoroark folded her arms and started to walk away. ''As if I honestly give a shit about what someone thinks, even my superiors.'' The sableye sighed as the gray Pokémon stopped walking and continued not bothering to face him. ''If he can take a beating, and doesn't mind me beating the shit out of his very existence, I'll train him.'' She smirked as she faced the sableye once more. ''He will be bruised, disciplined and bloodied every day. Is that perfectly fine?''

The sableye was taken aback by her sudden shift of attitude and was slightly getting the impression that she was probably going to physically abuse him along with her being incredibly annoyed. Did he or she have a choice in the matter though? ''As long as you don't kill him Azrin.''

The zoroark genuinely smiled which actually horrified the bright purple pokemon. ''No promises.''

The purple Pokémon needed to regain his composure with the sudden mix of emotions flaring out from both sides. ''If you are being serious, then this is the address.'' A large pop and crackle ripped into space before a piece of paper was in the Sabelye's one hand. ''Normally a pelipper would be the only one with this, but I'll make an exception.'' He handed it to the zoroark who reluctantly took it. ''Do. Not. Kill. Him. Is that clear?'' The sableye said with a slight snarl.

The zoroark unsurprisingly just waved it off and started to walk in the direction of the household. 'Yeah, yeah. He'll be at the organization in no time. Can't promise how many pieces but he'll be there.'' The sableye pinched the bridge of his nose before muttering profanities and walking off to do his own work.

Time: Night

POV: Azrin

I saw all the townsfolk closing for the day, none of them thankfully knowing of what I'm doing or who I am. I could have disguised myself, but where is the fun in that? I want the new guy to suffer a little, it's enough to work with a failure… I don't want his son in the mix. It's just going to cause problems.

The lights of Treasure Town started to dim as I narrowed the distance between the hills and the somewhat large buildings. I started muttering to myself as I realized something was off, someone or something was watching me. ''Show yourself or I'll literally level out this entire area.'' I just stood up straight looking for any movement or any slight sounds. As something shifted, I immediately shot a flamethrower out into the trees, watching every ignite in its path with glee. ''I love when it does that~''

I redirected my head to see a lone Pokémon walking through them, its fur clearly burnt in several areas. Its fur was entirely white with black burnt patches littering it from the fire, his face was wincing even in the darkness I could see a distinctive blue from the light of the flames. I laughed as he growled at me.

''So you must be what I'm looking for? Let me guess, Eclipse?'' The Absol wasn't exactly happy with my choice of words and he immediately lunged at me. I was laughing with joy as I easily dodged every clumsy and rapid attack. ''En garde then pooch.''

He was so headstrong, always running into attacks with haste and fury, but to my surprise they were actually accurate. Every movement was just kinda obvious. Eclipse kept slashing and slashing at me until I actually caught his front leg underneath and threw him away from me with a single push. ''You got some fire in you, but that can't be it is it?''

I distanced myself letting my claws be shown clearly ready to obliterate the absol. ''How about we get serious?''

The absol narrowed his eyes at me, his eyes seeming fiery. He made the first move jumping in the air, flipping to carry momentum at me. ''Night slash!'' His deep voice was easily heard, and I was ready for some actual action. I leaned my right arm back before ripping up the entire surface of ground beneath me in a spectacular light of purple. ''Punishment.''

The light exploded forward destroying everything around me while halting all of the other Pokémon's momentum. He flung back several feet still alive, his claws ripping the ground as he landed and tried to keep his balance. ''I'm shocked you aren't dead there pooch, that was meant to obliterate you.''

The absol in front of me literally only said one word the entire fight, but now he spoke to me at that moment and was very hostile to my dislike. ''Why are you trying to kill me?''

I twirled my hair while standing straight and smiled at him. ''Well firstly, I was actually told to find you. I just put that second part on myself.'' I laughed lightly before walking forward a few steps. ''You actually have some talent, kid I'll make you a deal. Either come with me peacefully yet in everlasting silence which probably won't be hard for you, or you can let me drag you there in a bodybag.'' I crossed my arms and huffed. ''Either way will be beautifully fine with me.'' The absol glared and charged at me again. I laughed like a homicidal maniac and got back into fight mode. ''Yes! This is the kind of answer I wanted!''

I expertly dodged his attacks, and they seemed faster for some reason. He was learning.

I thought I dodged another one of them as he finally grazed my cheek, and then there was a small trickle of blood. Weird, this is the first time I've seen my own blood in a long time. Was I going too easy? Was I losing my touch? I smelt the air ready to focus and then gagged on the small burning ash. ''Fuck! What is that smell?!''

I looked to my right seeing dozens of tree's burning now bringing me back to reality. ''Oh yeah. Forgot about that.''

Unbeknownst to me, the absol was charging forward ready to strike and my body took action all on its own. I grabbed him by the neck mid jump which caught him by surprise and slammed him to the ground causing a small crater. ''Nah, I didn't lose my touch. You are just being unpredictable for once.'' I threw hex powder* in his face to knock him out almost instantly. Really wasn't my touch but Magnus would probably hate me if I killed him.

Weird, I might actually like this guy because he has actual spirit. I bent over, grabbed the absol and slung him over my shoulder and started walking back to the organization, shouting starting to flood the background near the trees. ''It'll all pan out, I can probably explain this all to Magnus.''

The walk back to the town was about 15 minutes. Once I arrived I yawned as I decided to walk around Treasure Town in the darkness, my eyes adjusting as time went on. This area was the central hub for three guilds, the Wigglytuff Guild, The Magnus Guild, and the Florian Guild. All I had to do was walk ten minutes in a generally northeast direction to make it back to the main guild hall, and drop this dead weight before going to bed.

I swear the bullshit never ends.

Still can't believe I'm going to train this brat, hopefully he just doesn't get in my way all the time. I muttered to myself as the ground finally converted from grass and dirt to gravel signifying that I was arriving at my destination despite visibility being zero for most Pokémon. I am a dark type, but my eyesight is surprisingly poor in these settings. Wish my flamethrower did a 'little' more. I arrived at the steps to be greeted by an enormous houndoom looming over the top of the stairs. I knew who it was immediately. ''Luke what the fuck are you doing up so late you useless piece of shit.''

The houndoom in front of me was cowardly and started to stutter. The guy is strong, but such a fucking pansy.

''H-hey I was told to notify Magnus of your arrival. I-I was wondering if that was at-at least alright.'' I reached the top of the steps and flicked him in the nose hard causing him to yip.

''Then do your job as a hellhound. I'm not going to ask again.'' The houndoom nodded twice very quickly and sprinted inside the hall shouting whatever the hell he usually says when we have someone arrive that's important. Minutes went by as the flickering lanterns on the entrance wavered and moved in the sudden breezes. ''Luke, hurry the fuck up!'' I shouted at the top of my lungs, likely scaring every townsfolk that was awake or walking around.

Much to my sadness, there wasn't much I could yell at next.

Magnus then walked into the main atrium which happened to be in the entrance way with his coffee in hand. He looked at me and then the absol. ''Surprised you didn't kill him, oh violent one.'' He took a sip of the mud in his cup. ''Let me guess, hex powder?''

I laughed as he said that and just simply responded. ''He put up more of a fight than most but that absol wouldn't survive a real one with me. I'm just shocked he lived through judgement.''

He spit out some coffee after that statement, trying to regain his composure afterwards before responding. ''Well, this kid certainly has potential as a headhunter then, and also won't be awake for quite a few days. Might as well put him in a guest room, all I can do for now.''

I nodded as soon as he was done talking and walked through the entranceway dodging the spit out coffee that now resided on it. Marble danced all around the main area, along with well placed seats and couches which were usually adorned by all walks of Pokémon but the time was definitely in my favor. No annoying motherfuckers, besides Luke. The ground was mostly stone but it was also surrounded by select spots of wood that were usually underneath the furnishings. A library surrounded most of the back wall in the large room and in the middle was a ladder that went down. I walked to the ladder and was contemplating how the fuck I was supposed to get down considering it was about 15 feet.

I shrugged and dropped the absol from flat to flat. He didn't complain so I didn't mind.

Magnus just sighed from across the room and proceeded back to his office on the right. I ignored him and climbed down casually, picked him back up onto my shoulder and proceeded down the new corridor which was lined with rooms on both sides. Each room for a different guild member, not much unlike Wigglytuff's. Just unlike his guild, we are a bounty hunting guild. Our job is to incapacitate high priority targets or to capture those who are deemed too dangerous for newer explorers.

It builds character.

Each room was adorned with something on the door signifying whose room was whose. I walked past mine, Gio's, Luke's which I should burn down later when he's in there, and then the rows of guest rooms. I opened up the room which was simple, a wooden floor room with a bed and small desk. Perfect. I dropped him into the bed with a resounding thud, and closed the door as fast as I came in.

I walked past all the rooms as my business wasn't finished. I walked to the area where all the rooms ended and looked to my right, the notice board was there and I saw a few notable rescues and problems in the region. Nothing unusual but there was something that caught my mind and I was pleasantly surprised by how fast words spread. It read 'Arsonist at large, if you have any information reach out to officer magnezone'. I chuckled to myself before walking back to my room, happy as can be. The door opened, noticing nothing had been touched, leaving me a feeling of bliss. ''Nothing to disrupt my sleep~''

I laid on the bed and closed my eyes ready for the hell that was ready to become the next day.
