The boy got up out of bed, literally shooting up as he heard this
As he ran down the stairs he narrowly stepped on a snakes tail, a snake with three heads which caused the snake to hiss in annoyance at Naruto
"Sorry Naga" Naruto yelled as he ran downstairs
As he entered the kitchen there in a chair at the kitchen table sat his father Minato and cooking breakfast was his red haired mother Kushina
On a perch was a large bird with a very long beak, this was Kevin Kushina's toucan bird from her days looking for animals with Minato who was a magical zoologist
"Here it is sweetie" Kushina said handing him a envelope with a red wax seal
"Guess this means we'll be having to go get his school supplies" Minato said
"Well we can go to Diagon ally after we finish breakfast so sit down I'm almost done" Kushina said as she fried some eggs and bacon
"Great! I can't wait!" Naruto said as he smiled and sat down at the table
"Ah, Hogwarts, ah the memories" Minato said as he put the newspaper down
"Wonder if old long beard can keep the house elfs from threatening to leave once they hear my kid is coming" Kushina said with a smirk as she used her wand to make plates float over as she placed food on them for her family
"The House elfs? What about the teachers?" Minato said with a chuckle
"mom wasn't that bad…..was she?" Naruto asked as a plate of food floated over to him
"You should've seen the things she did when she was in Slytherin, surprised many of the ghosts or teachers kept their sanity" Minato said
"hey I only hurt who had it coming!" Kushina said as she sat down
"Honey you gave Severus a orbital fracture for calling Lily-" Minato was saying before he was cut off
"Ah we don't use that word around here dear" Kushina said with a smile that was anything but sweet
Minato chuckled nervously at this before he nodded and they all started to eat
"Anyways, Snape deserved it, was tempted to give 'Ol James Potter a few punches here and there, rest his soul" Kushina said thinking of her dead friend
"You slugged him in first year and sent him flying down a hall" Minato said simply
"Yeah James had his own little mean streak especially with Snape but I could always take them" Kushina said with a chuckle
after the family had all ate there breakfast they all got ready and left for London so they could get Naruto's school supplies

"I hate doing that" Naruto coughed as he dusted his clothes off

"Gah! my hair! I just got it clean damn it!" Kushina yelled as she used her wand to remove the soot off her before she did the same for Naruto and Minato
"afternoon Minato, long time no see, and Kushina here for a good drink of ail?" a older man behind the bar asked as he smiled at the couple
"Not today Tom, have to get Naruto his school supplies for Hogwarts" Kushina said as she smiled and patted Naruto on the head
"Ah it's that day already huh? you gonna terrorize Hogwarts like your ma?" Tom asked Naruto as he smiled
"I'll try" Naruto said as he smiled at Tom who laughed
"You're in an awful chippy mood today Tom, anything eventful happen?" Minato asked as he smiled
"oh yeah Hagrid showed up a little while ago "
"Oh good is he escorting a muggle born for the old man?" Kushina asked as she smiled as she liked Hagrid even back in school the groundskeeper was always nice to her
"No, he brought with him Harry Potter himself" Tom said as he got a fresh drink for a customer

"Oh merlin Minato said as he had a bad feeling

"Harry Potter was here and is in Diagon Alley getting his school supplies for his first year at Hogwarts, hope hagrid buys him a sandwich that kid is skinny " Tom said as he looked away from his customers
"Let's go" Kushina said as she moved quickly to the back as Naruto and Minato followed her to a brick wall which she dragged her wand against as the bricks then moved to show Diagon Alley
Naruto smiled as he looked around as whole he had been here before he still loved visiting Diagon alley
"Come on, we may be able to find them Hagrid sticks out like a sore thumb" Kushina said as she looked around
"Probably at Gringotts as I doubt Harry has a knut on him" Minato said as they all walked down the road
"Do we have to? I hate being around those Goblins, they smell like Grandpa's feet" Naruto said
"They are fine as long as you don't cross them" Kushina said firmly as they walked

Naruto and his parents stopped in front of a goblin who was stamping papers
"We would like to make a withdrawal" Minato said firmly but with no malace in his voice
The goblin stopped and looked at them
"Do you have your key?" The goblin asked firmly as he looked down at them from his tall seat
Kushina held up a gold key at this giving the goblin a flat look
"Follow me please" The Goblin said as he got off his seat
Kushina and Minato nodded at this before she paused as she spotted Hagrid coming out of the back of the bank along with a goblin and a young 11 year old boy with black hair and green eyes, he was also wearing glasses
"Honey-" Minato was saying before he was cut off
darling please go with Naruto and get the money Kushina said as she tossed Minato their vault key which he caught
Minato sighed as he and Naruto followed their goblin to the back of the bank
"Kushina, it's been a long time, great to see you" the large man said as he smiled
"Hello Hagrid, is there something you forgot to mention to me in a letter?" Kushina asked with a pointed look
"Oh right, sorry Dumbledore's been having me run a few errands for him, I'm sure you know-" Hagrid was saying before he was interrupted
"Harry Potter… you have your mother's eyes" Kushina said as she smiled at young Harry
"You knew my mom?" Harry asked curiously as he looked at the older woman
"Yes her and I were best friends , practical sisters " Kushina said as she smiled at the memory
Harry's eyes widened at this as he looked at Kushina in surprise
"I knew your father too… when I wasn't busy giving a good punch across the head" Kushina said as she laughed
"Yea Kushina here was quite the terror back in her school days, the ghosts still tell stories about you to the first years" Hagrid said as he laughed while Harry looked surprised at the fact Kushina admitted to punching his dad so casually
"My sons starting Hogwarts too, I hope you two become good friends, and if you need anything, just tell my son and he;ll tell me" Kushina said as she smiled at Harry
"Well we just got his money out of his vault how about you and yer family come with us and Harry here can ask you questions" Hagrid said as he smiled and patted Harry on the head
Kushina looked up at Hagrid and smiled at the tall man "Sounds good to me" she said as she gesturing to a bench nearby where they could all wait for Naruto and Minato
Harry walked over first leaving Kushina with Hagrid for a moment
"Does he know?" Kushina asked with a firm tone
"That you're his Godmother, boy didn't know anything about his parents let along about magic" Hagrid said as he shook his head
Kushina scowled at this before she clenched her fists
Years ago when Lily died she had tried to get custody of Harry but Dumbledore had convinced the ministry to send him to his blood relieves, which had made things tense between her and the older wizard
"He's so thin and small, were those people ever even feeding him?" Kushina asked as she and Hagrid approached Harry and the bench

"Oh he told me he gave your cousin a pigs tail when your aunt and uncle gave him attitude" Kushina said as she smiled at her godson
"I have to go back to them when school is over don't I?" Harry asked as he frowned
"Well you have nowhere else to go do you?" Kushina asked
harry said nothing to this but before Kushina could say anything
"Hey mom!" Naruto yelled as him and Minato ran over
"Hey there, I was just telling Harry here that you're starting your first year at Hogwarts as well" Kushina said as she smiled at her family
"Hey, my name's Naruto, this is our bird Kevin, she's a little feisty around strangers but once she warms up to you" Naruto said gesturing to the toucan on his shoulder
Kevin squacked at this and bonked Naruto twice on the head with her beak
"Yeah she loves doing that to me" Naruto said flatly
"You know she does that with love brat" Kushina said with a chuckle
Naruto reached into his pocket pulling out a chocolate bar that he broke in half giving half to the bird who squawked happily as she took it
"Your bird eats chocolate? Harry asked finding this odd
"She's not your common variety of Toucan" Naruto said with a smile as they started walking out of the bank to go get their school supplies

after they had gotten the books the two new students would need for the year they placed them in their magic Trunks which Kushina insisted on getting Harry and Naruto
"You didn't need to buy my trunk miss Kushina" Harry said as he pushed his trunk which was floating behind him thanks to Kushina
"Better than letting you carry everything" Kushina said
"ok next is your wand" Minato said as he led the way to Ollivanders
"ok I'll leave Harry to you then I have something i need ter do, we will meet up later" Hagrid said as he walked off
"ok kids follow me and don't worry the old man Is harmless" Kushina said as she led the way into a shop with a sign that said Ollivanders hanging above it
They went inside and Harry rang the bell then a old man on a moving ladder showed himself between the corridors of boxs
"Ah I was expecting you Mr Potter and Mr Uzumaki" olivander said with a smile as he climbed down the stairs
he began to check through the boxes on the shelf nearby
"Seems only yesterday your parents themselves were here getting their first wands, I still remember the trials of getting you yours Kushina oak 11 ft dragon heartstring core " ollivander said as he looked over his shelfs
"Yeah, first 2 I almost blew apart the store" Kushina said as she smiled at the memory
He pulled out two boxes and opened them showing wands that he gave to the boys who took them
"... Well give them a wave" Ollivander said as they just stood there holding them
Harry jumped at this before he waved it and made a vase nearby explode
"No, definitely not for you" Ollivander said as he took Harry's wand
Naruto waved his and caused a shelf nearby to tip over making it crash to the floor with a loud thud
"Definitely, definitely not" Ollivander said as he took that wands back
"oh like you don't enjoy a tough customer" Minato said with a knowing grin at the older man
ollivander laughed and chuckled at this as he went through dozens of boxes trying to find the right wands
"Hmm… I wonder" Olivander said as he went to the back of his shop
He then pulled out 2 wand boxes blowing off some of the dust that collected on the boxes
"11 inches, redwood, and a thunderbird feather core" Ollivander said as he handed the wand to Naruto
"You don't see wands with cores like that often" Minato said knowing the older man prefered more traditional wand cores
Naruto shuddered as he felt the wand zap him before it warmed up for him like he got electrified him but it had no effect almost like it was fitting for him
"Interesting, the very thunderbird that the feather came from gave only one other feather and it went into your fathers wand" Ollivander said before he gave Harry his wand
Harry felt a surge run through him as it felt like the wind blew around him
"Curious… very curious" Olivander said as he took the wand to inspect
"What's curious?" Harry asked
"I remember every wand I ever sold and it turns out the phoenix who's tail feather is the core for your wand gave one other feather and it's curious that the other wand, its brother…gave you that scar" Ollivander said as he looked at Harry's forehead
Kushina and Minato frowned at this information while Naruto looked at them curiously
"Who did it belong to?" Harry asked curiously but also nervously
"Oh, we do not speak his name. The wand chooses the wizard Harry, it's not always clear why. But I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you, after all He-Who-Must-Not-Be Named did great things, terrible, but great" Ollivander said as he handed Harry back the wand
Suddenly as if to cut the tension Hagrid knocked on the window getting everyone's attention
"Happy Birthday Harry." Hagrid said as he held a snow-white owl in a cage
Harry's eyes widened in surprise at this before he smiled
"You two head outside I'll pay for the wands" Kushina said kindly to the two boys
Naruto nodded before he dragged Harry out the door with Minato close behind
"Ok old man I want two wand holsters for them too" Kushina said as she took out her bag
"Ah looking to make them dualists miss Kushina?" olivander asked with a chuckle as he grabbed two high quality wand holsters from under the desk
"Better to be trained and ready"" Kushina said as she nodded
"He has no idea who he is, does he?" Ollivander asked as Kushina paid him and she took the two boxed wands and wand holsters
"He's never experienced the magic world, been stuck with his muggle aunt and uncle all his life" Kushina said
"…..and I suppose your gonna have a talk with them? olivander asked since the magical community knew well enough about Kushina's temper
"Look at that boy, he's so small a stiff wind could blow him over you can tell they don't care for him" Kushina said keeping her voice down
"Perhaps this is something you should take up with Dumbledore himself?" Ollivander said as he got the holsters
"Oh trust me that's on my to do list" Kushina said with a scowl
"Try not to get arrested the aurors are still recovering from the last time you attacked someone" Ollivander said as he chuckled
"Okay one that guy deserved it and two if you bring up the second time where I did get arrested that was because I had too much to drink on a fun night" Kushina said as she shook her head
"Pff… Everyone still remembers how you looked and how the aurors looked when they finally caught you" Ollivander said chuckling
Kushina rolled her eyes as she took the wand holsters and exited the shop
"Hey mom look Hagrid got Harry a owl for his birthday Naruto said with a smile
"She's a beautiful bird… I think Kevin has a friend now " Kushina said as the toucan was garbleing at the owl as if talking
"Hey Kev, let her get used to us before you annoy her " Naruto said as he waved his hand dismissively
Kevin garbled at this and waved a wing at Naruto like he was imitating the young man
"Kevin loves imitating people to mess with them, hey Kev show him your impression of mom" Naruto said as he smiled
Kevin squawked loudly at this and started to shake his head like he was screaming at someone
this caused Naruto and Minato to laugh whole Harry covered his mouth trying not to laugh
"Yeah, yeah laugh it up brat" Kushina said as she rolled her eyes
(Train station)
"And a dragon could really- what're you looking at?" Hagrid said as they walked past a man who was just staring before looking at his watch "Blimey is that the time, I'm gonna be late" he said as he checked his pocket to make sure he still had what he needed
"don't worry Hagrid we can escort Harry to the train Minato said with a smile
"Here's your ticket, Harry, don't lose it" Hagrid said giving Harry a ticket
"Platform 9 and… Hagrid this doesn't make sense it says 9 , where'd he go?"
"Yeah Hagrid can move when he needs to, come on we'll show it to you" Kushina said as she patted him on the head before they led Harry and Naruto to the train platforms
as they made it towards platform 9 they spotted a group of redheads also pushing there luggage carts
"Ah the Weasley clan" Kushina called out as she smiled
this got the attention of one of the redheads who was a older woman who turned to look at Kushina
"Ah, Kushina, great to see you again, oh look at you, you hardly age do you"
"Uzumaki genes are no joke Molly so your kids are looking good are all of them going to Hogwarts? Kushina asked as she looked at the group of redheads
"Ah, Ginny starts next year but its Ron's first year" Molly said
"ah Naruto is starting this year too along with Harry here" Minato said as he gestured to Naruto and Harry
"Excuse me, how do we get -" Harry started to ask
"Onto the platform? It's easy honey, Percy show them how it's done" Molly said as she smiled kindly before she looked to the oldest amongst the Weasley brothers
Percy pushed his cart as he went right through between platforms 9 and 10
"Fred, George you're up next" Molly said as she looked at two teen boys who were twins
"He's not Fred I am!" one of the twins said
"And you call yourself our mother"
"oh I'm sorry George" Molly said as she gestured to the platform
the twin pushed his cart forward ready to go"I was only joking I am Fred" he said with a smile before he walked through
He went through followed by his Twin
"Those two still driving you mad?" Kushina asked with a chuckle at this
"Oh they try, they definitely try, but they have nothing on your record " Molly said as she chuckled at her friend
"Alright son, it's best to get a running start if you're nervous" Minato said
"Please I can handle this come on Harry" Naruto said as he pushed his cart forward with Harry close behind
"Give them hell brat!" Kushina yelled after her son with a grin
"Who was that with him?" Molly asked Minato as the two boys walked through the platform
"Harry Potter" Minato said simply as he knew Molly wasn't one to gape at Harry
"That was Harry?! He's so small" Molly said as she frowned
"Don't worry Molly between the two of us he will be fine…..after I have a talk with his aunt and uncle" Kushina said as she slightly glared
"Honey" Minato said with a firm tone
"I'm just gonna talk to them dear…..with a blunt object…..as long as it takes" Kushina said with a sweet tone as a mad grin formed on her face
Ginny hid behind her mom at this while Molly sighed but didn't do anything since she quite frankly agreed with her friend
(With Harry and Naruto)
Naruto and Harry were in a compartment sitting across from each other while the train went down the tracks passing by the countryside
The door then opened showing it was Ron "Can I sit here, there's no room in the others" he asked with a nervous look
"Not a problem" Harry said as he smiled and pointed to a seat next to himself
"Sure no problem" Naruto said agreeing with Harry
"Ronald Weasley" Ron said as he sat down next to Harry
"Hey, I'm Naruto Uzumaki and this is my friend Harry Potter" Naruto said as he introduced himself and Harry
"Whoa, really… is it true, do you really have the…"

"scar" Ron said hoping he wasn't being rude
"Oh yea sure Harry said as he held up his bangs to show the lightning bolt scar
"wicked" Ron said as he looked at the scar
"Yea get used to that" Naruto said as he sighed since his mom explained the situation to Harry before they left diagon ally
Then the door opened showing a woman with a cart of snacks "Anything off the trolley lads?" she asked kindly
"No thanks… I'm all set" Ron said holding a smushed up sandwich in plastic wrap
Harry frowned at this seeing Rob was a little embarrassed before he turned to the woman "We will take the lot" he said as he took out some good gallons
"Whoa." Naruto and Harry said as the woman took the gold and left the cart in the room
"Dig in." Harry said with a shrug as he took a box off the cart
"slow down there Harry your not used to wizard snacks" Naruto said chuckling as Harry took a box of bertie botts every flavor beans
"yea they mean every flavor" Ron said as he took a cauldron cake
"Mom once got a salmon flavored one which has a sense of irony that I'll tell you about later" Naruto said as he took a chocolate frog
"that's nothing my brother george swears he got booger flavor once" Ron said
Harry spat his out hearing that making Naruto and Ron laugh
"Are they real chocolate frogs?" Harry asked holding a container
"no it's just a spell it's the cards you want though each one is a famous witch or wizard" Ron said as he smiled
Harry opened it and watched as the frog jumped onto the window before jumping out
"rotten luck they only have one good hop" Ron said
Harry looked at his card and his eyes widened "I got miss Kushina" he said In surprise as the card had a picture of Kushina who was smiling
"lucky that's a rare one" Ron said as he smiled
"Your mom is famous?" Harry asked Naruto curiously
"Yeah mom used to hunt down bad guys" Naruto said as he smiled
"Hey where'd she go?" Harry asked as the picture was gone
"Well she can't stand there all day can she?" Ron asked curiously finding this question odd
"He lives with his muggle aunt and uncle" Naruto said explaining the situation
"Ah well don't worry me and Naruto have your back" Ron said as he nodded in understanding
Harry smiled at this and nodded as they ate more snacks and talked
Suddenly the door opened and a girl with long curly brown hair already in her school robes walked in just as Ron was going to show Harry a spell his brothers showed him
"Have any of you seen a toad, a boy named Neville has lost his"

"Are you doing magic? Let's see it then" The girl said as she sat with them
"Ahem, sunshine, daisies, buttermellow… turn this stupid fat rat yellow!"
All the spell did was blow the candy box off the top of Ron's pet rat Scabbers
"Is that even a real spell? doesn't sound real" the girl said before she took out her wand and pointed it at Harry's glasses "Oculus Reparo"she said firmly
this caused the tape keeping Harry's glasses together to roll off showing they were now fixed surprising him
"There much better right? I'm Hermione Granger and you all are? the girl asked curiously
"Naruto Uzumaki, these are my new friends Ron Weasley and Harry Potter" Naruto said introducing himself and the others to her
"So it's true Harry Potter is –" Hermione was saying before she was cut off
"Okay can you people stop with this whole oh my god it's Harry Potter thing, it's getting old to me" Naruto said
Hermione eyes widened at this before she nodded. "Oh I'm sorry I suppose people have been gawking at him?" she asked Naruto
Naruto nodded at this confirming what she said " I'd rather treat him like a person instead of a celebrity I mean he is being introduced to all this magical stuff for the first time today"
"Ah I'm in the same boat since my parents are just regular dentists Hermione said as she nodded in understanding
"Ah a muggle born, well Its cool though my mom's friend's son may have a problem with that, as I hear Draco Malfoy is on this bus, his mom's kinda okay but… he just makes you want to slug him in the face
"Oh I'm sure he's not that bad" Hermione said as she didn't like to pre judge people
"Remember that when you meet him" Naruto said as he chuckled finding her optimum refreshing
"Well I have to go help Neville with his toad but we are gonna arrive soon so I would change into your robes" Hermione said as she got up and left the cabin

It was nighttime in Hogsmeade Station as the train stopped and the students all piled out of the train all in there school robes
"Alright, alright, first years follow me!" Hagrid said loudly as he held up a lamp and approached
"Hey Hagrid" Harry said as Ron just looked at Hagrid in amazement at his size
"Ok you lot follow me only 4 to a boat! Hagrid yelled as he led the first years to the nearby lake where there where a bunch of boats
"Mom told me about these, they're magical so we don't even have to use oars to move them" Naruto said
"Oh yeah your mom jumped in when she crossed in her first year, something about wanting to fight a mermaid" Hagrid said with a smile as the students all got in there boats
"That sounds like mom" Naruto said as the boats followed Hagrids across the lake
as the turned the corner of the around the forest they spotted a massive castle
"Whoa…" Harry said as he set eyes upon Hogwarts
"Sugoi" Naruto said in Japanese looking at the castle with amazement as the boats approached the castle
The boats parked near a stairway up to the castle as Hagrid lead them inside
When they approached the front doors Hagrid knocked and the doors opened and a older woman in Green robes and a witches hat was on the other side
"Professor"McGonnagal, I leave them in your hands." Hagrid said as he nodded to the older woman
McGonagall nodded at this as she looked at the first years "Follow me please" she said firmly as she led them into the castle
the first years all scrambled to follow her inti the castle
McGonagall led them to a giant door and stopped and looked at them soon you will be led in with your fellow classmates but before you can sit with them you must be sorted into your houses they are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, now while your here your house will be like your family you excel here you earn points for your house Amy rule breaking and you will lose points, at the end of the year the house with the most points win the house cup" McGonagall explained with a firm tone
"Trevor!" the boy known as Neville Longbottom said as he noticed his toad by her feet as it croaked
McGonagall looked down at Neville with a raised eyebrow at this while the boy apologized and went back to the other first years
"Wait here" She said before she went into the great hall
"So the rumors are true, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts" a male voice said as he looked at Harry and Naruto
"Oh… hello Malfoy, been a while since the last time we saw each other at one of our moms parties" Naruto said flatly silently wishing he was somewhere else
The boy had platinum blonde hair that was slicked back
"My name's Draco, this is Crabbe and Goyle" the boy said introducing two other boys
"I know who they are I recall my mom saying how bad she kicked there dad's butt" Naruto said with a grin
This got a chuckle out of Ron along with some other first years
"Think that's funny do you, no need to ask you your name, tatty robes, unkempt face and red hair, you're obviously a Weasley" Draco said
"Watch it Malfoy you know how us Uzumakis are when our friends are messed with and if you don't ask your daddy" Naruto said with a glare at Draco
"Don't go making friends with the wrong kinds of people Harry" Draco said offering his hand to Harry
"... I think I'm okay where I am" Harry said firmly
Draco was going to say something but McGonagall put a hand onto his shoulder which caused him to move neck to the side
"We're ready for you now" She said to the First Years as the Great Hall's doors opened showing large tables filled with older students and at the back were the teachers
"See that guy up there Harry? That's Dumbledore, he's the only person Voldemort ever feared besides my mom" Naruto said pointing to the elderly man in the center chair
"He didn't fear your mom?" Harry whispered curiously as they walked
"Nah he was too cocky to fear her" Naruto said with a grin as they looked up at the ceiling which looked like the night sky and had candles flapping in the sky
"It's all just a spell, it makes the ceiling look like the night sky, I read it in Hogwarts: A History" Hermione said as she smiled
they all stopped when McGonagall stopped and turned to them as she stood next to a stool which had a old hat sitting on it
"When I call your name, please come up and take a seat as I place the sorting hat upon you to place you in your house" McGonagall said to the first years
"I'm gonna kill George he was talking about wrestling a troll" Ron grumbled out as the other first years sighed in relief that this was so simple
"That sounds so cool" Naruto said as McGonagall placed students in their houses as they talked
"Naruto Uzumaki!" McGonagall called out
this got silence from the teachers who slightly sweated but did nothing
"Oh Merlin, the demon witch had a spawn?" The Sorting Hat said as Naruto approached and sat in the stool before McGonagall placed the hat on his head
"Hmmm difficult, your skills would make you perfect in Slytherin"
"And be put in with Malfoy, pass" Naruto whispered
"Ah your more worried about your friend eh? that Uzumaki loyalty would make you a perfect Hufflepuff" the hat mused
"I don't know…" Naruto said as while he liked Hufflepuffs ok he was more a boy of action
"Hmm… well then… better be… Gryffindor!" The sorting hat yelled out
This made the Gryffindor table cheer as Naruto took off the hat and ran over to the table and sat down next to Fred and George
"Harry Potter" McGonagall called out
Everything went silent as Harry walked through the first years
"Ooh, difficult, very difficult Plenty of courage I see, not a bad mind either. There's talent, oh yes, and a thirst to prove yourself. But where to place you" the hat mused to himself
"Not Slytherin, not slytherin, not slytherin" Harry muttered to himself
"Not Slytherin? Are you sure? You could be great you know, it's all here in your head, and Slytherin could lead you to greatness, but if you're sure… better be… Gryffindor!"The sorting hat said making Gryffindor house cheer again
Harry smiled at this as the hat was removed from his head and he ran over to the same table as Naruto, Ron and Hermione
It wasn't long after that the first years were placed into their houses as Dumbledore stood up
"before we start the feast I have a few announcements one the 3rd floor corridor is forbidden to anyone who doesn't wish to suffer a very painful death Dumbledore said firmly
this git a surprised chuckle from Harry "he's kidding right?" he asked his fellow students while Dumbledore made more announcements
"That;s Dumbledore, humor isn't exactly what he's known for" Percy said firmly to the first year
"I smell a adventure" Naruto said with a smirk before here shook her head at this
"Another, the dark forest is forbidden to all students and some of our older students should remember that too" Dumbledore said as he looked at Fred and George before his eyes stopped on Naruto with a knowing smile
"Well then, let the feast begin." Dumbledore said as he clapped his hands and a bounty of food appeared all over the tables
"Whoa." Harry said amazed as he looked at all the food
"Best dig in, you look like you could afford to have some meat on those bones" Naruto said as he loaded up his plate with some fried chicken
He then reached for a plate of rolls when a head went through the table spooking Ron
"Hello there! Welcome to Gryffindor! the ghost said kindly as he smiled at Ron
Ghosts began to appear one by one doing other silly and cool actions such as the Red Baron swiping his sword through the air as he flew over a table
"Hello sir nicholas have a good summer? Percy asked the ghost
"Oh dreadful Percy, once again my request to join the Headless Hunt has been denied"
"Oh yea mom said you have been trying to get in for years Naruto said as he recognised this ghost thanks to his mom and dad's stories
"I know you, you're Nearly Headless Nick" Ron said as he looked at the ghost in surprise
"I prefer Sir Nicholas if you wouldn't mind" nick said firmly as he didn't like this nickname
"Nearly Headless, how can you be nearly headless?" Hermione asked curiously
"Like this." Nick said literally tilting his head to the side showing his insides spooking Ron
Nick then readjusted his head and looked at Naruto "and your mom is?" he asked wondering who had told him about him
"Kushina Uzumaki." Naruto said as he smiled
this made the ghosts flying around pause a little
"Ah Miss Kushina got married did she?" Nick asked as he chuckled at the memories of his encounters with Kushina while she was here
"Yep, my dad's Minato Namikaze." Naruto said as he ate
"ah I remember him such a polite and loyal child back when he was in my house" the fat friar said as he smiled before he flew off
Naruto looked at Harry and noticed Harry was groaning as he had a hand over his scar as he looked at a professor with a turban on his head talking to a dark haired man
"What's wrong with you?" Naruto asked curiously
"Nothing I'm fine Harry said as he rubbed his head
"That's Professor Snape by the way, mom and dad went to Hogwarts with him"
"He's the potions teacher but everyone knows it's Defense against the Dark Arts he's been aiming for. Been after Quirrel's job for years" Percy said
"Ooh potions, I love potions" Naruto said
"Really?" Hermione asked as she raised a eyebrow but smiled a little hoping Naruto took classes seriously
"oh sure you can make all kinds of potions that are perfect for pranks" Naruto said as he smiled
Hermione frowned at this but said nothing as she ate
"Oh? a little first year fancies himself a prankster eh?" Fred asked as he smiled
"Fred and George have been pranksters for years, they even want to open a joke shop when they graduate" Ron said as he shook his head at his brother's
"You're looking at the man who tricked his own mother into drinking a potion that turned her hair blue for 3 hours" Naruto said
"You're kidding" Harry asked as he had a feeling that was asking for trouble
"Yup she said and I quote you're lucky I love you brat! Now give me that antidote or no ramen for a year!" Naruto said doing a bad imitation of his mother making the students laugh
"Ramen?" Hermione asked curiously
"Basically noodles with broth." Percy said simply as he ate
Naruto's eyebrow twitched at this as he made a mental note to prank Percy later

Later after the feast Percy led the first year Gryffindors through the castle halls
"Please try to keep up before the stairs change" Percy told the first years as he lead them to a large painting of a large but elegant woman
"Password?" the lady asked Percy
"Caput Draconis." Percy said to the lady in the painting who nodded before her painting opened like a door showing a staircase
There they entered a rather amazing room with a lit fireplace and several couches and tables
" welcome to the Gryffindor common room, you will find the Boys dorms to your upstairs left and downstairs, ladies the same to your right you will find your belongings have already been delivered" Percy said to the group
the boys and girls separated and went up there sets of stairs to there rooms
When Harry, Ron, Naruto and others opened a door they found Kevin hopping from bed to bed as if he was bouncing as Harry's owl Hedwig just watched
"Wow is that a toucan?" a boy named Neville asked curiously as Kevin squawked at them
"Don't try petting her before she's gotten to know you, she might bite a finger."
"You named a girl bird, Kevin?" A boy named Seamus asked
"I was 5" Naruto said after a moment of silence
"Well, here you can formally mee- ah!" Ron jumped back as Kevin snapped at Scabbers hissing "What was that for?" he said looking at Naruto
"I don't know, guess she doesn't like him" Naruto said
"Well keep away from my rat big nose" Ron grumbled as he went to his bed
Kevin garbled at Ron and waved her wings like Ron did when he talked
"Great now she's imitating you, she loves to do that" Naruto said
"Your bird mocks people? wow" Neville said as he looked at Keven surprised
Neville's toad jumped beside Kevin as the two just stared at each other as the toad just kept croaking muggle
"Hey, why doesn't she snap at that frog?" Ron said
"Well some birds eat mice" Seamus said as he went to his bed
Kevin started hacking at this and shaking her head in disapproval making the boys laugh
"Yea yea I know here" Naruto said as he threw the bird a chocolate frog
"A chocolate eating Toucan?" Seamus said curiously
"Kevin's a magic Toucan but for some reason all she wants to eat is Chocolate"
Kevin squacked at this
"and fruit" Naruto said correcting himself knowing his bird liked fruit too
"You should show her chocolate oranges" Harry said with a chuckle
"squawk?!?!" Kevin yelled in surprise at this before she started to cry out as if making demands at them
"Thanks for that Harry" Naruto said flatly as his bird continued to cry out
after Naruto calmed Kevin and got her to go to the owlery they all went to bed excited to get started with classes tomorrow

and it's a single paring for characters so don't bother asking
