It all started with a loud bang in the forest. A powerful entity has appeared near the vicinity of the Jura Tempest Federation. Treyni immediately contacted Rimuru on this unexpected, yet terrifying intruder.

"Well...we shouldn't make assumptions just yet." Said Rimuru. He looked over.

"Notice: Entity in the vicinity is of UNKNOWN origin." 'Unknown huh? What else?' "Entity has no magicules. Yet it's power is close to that of a DEMON LORD." 'Eh-!? That's possible-!?' "ANSWER: ERROR. There is no perceived way to attain DEMON LORD without magicules" Rimuru was getting more intrigued. Could this be what he thinks it is? He sighs and replies 'Thank you Great Sage. Guess we'll see who it is.'

"What should we do Great Rimuru..?" Asked the Dryad.

Rimuru thought then determined "First, we need to see whoever it is and go from there." A certain pair appeared from behind, kneeling before him. He turned around "Oh-! Souei-! Souka-! Great timing." Souei looked up and nodded. "Could you both check out who appeared near our borders?" "Of course." and off they went before bowing their heads once more.

Rimuru can't shake off this feeling of familiarity with the creature, something about the 'Unknown origins' is something he wants to ask them. If they're willing to, that is...

As the two members of the Shadow Squad were reaching the target, Souka began to lag behind. She stopped for a second as Souei looked over. "Souka?" he froze.

She was pale, her face was contorted. Her body was shaking as she tried taking another leap but fell short. "SOUKA-!" yelped Souei as he caught her. She began coughing, the aura was so heavy with unease it was nauseating. Souei began to feel the effects too...It invoked a primal fear within him- within them both.

He helped her up to the tree branch. He gave her a look of "I will be back. Please rest" and went off to scout the perimeter.

"Auuugh...where am I..? Did I teleport in time..?" a white spider with a peculiar pink pattern woke up. She looked around and yelped. "Wait-! The last thing I remember was running from that one demon lord then passing out.." She shivered as she looked at herself "Oh thank Christ, i'm still alive-!" She sighed in relief. She then jumped to her feet and said "Alright-! Time to lay low and-" a pair of eyes were glaring at her.

She looked back.

It looked back.

She froze, waiting for a reaction.
But the thing did not. She took one step. The entity flinched slightly. She took another, it seems like it's grounded now. Huh… Well! It's time to ask the parallel minds!

'Alright everyone, what should we do? We're being watched by this thing-'
'Well we can't run from it. We could fight it-!'
'Yeah but, we can't just fight everything willy-nilly-! Self-defense remember? By the looks of it, it's just watching us.'
'Kinda creepy though…'
'Alright-! Fine. We could try talking to it. Might as well since the other hundred-thousandth time didn't.'

Kumoko sighed. "Might as well- Hello-! Can you understand me?"

It was a spider all along? Souei stared at the sleeping thing before it woke up. He tensed up as it...held it's head? He watched cautiously as it looked around it's surroundings before looking at him. He stared back, frozen. It then took a step, he readied himself. It took another step. He didn't move. This went on until the spider began hissing and screeching at him. He got up and stepped back.

The spider itself did the same as they both waited for either to attack. But neither did. Then something fell in front of them. It glowed and began to ring. The spider immediately went to tap on it and a voice spoke out. "ADMINISTRATOR D: ACCESSING. ACCESSING DENIED. RETRYING. ACCESSING. ADMINISTRATOR D DENIED" And the piece then disappeared. The spider then hissed- er...exclaimed something. Souei watched. This was no ordinary spider; as matter of fact-! There was no species of spider monsters that looked like this. What is this Administrator D? And what is it's connection with this spider?

The spider looked up at him again, as if anticipating something. He then began making his way back, appearing as if he disappeared in front of the spider. He can discern three things. 1. This spider is most likely not a threat. 2. It can understand them, but it cannot speak. And finally 3. Master Rimuru must make his judgement before anything can happen.

Well. That was unexpected. First D wanted to contact her and now this stalker just left.

'Ugh..creepy' she thought.
'Agreed-!' replied her parallels.
'Well...No matter-! I'll do what I usually do-! Survive-!'
'YEAH!'
'I've come this far! And i'm not gonna give up that easily!'
'YEAH! TAKE ON THE WORLD!
"Especially not to that demon lord-!" Kumoko smiled as her parallels gave a mixed-

'YEaAhh..um...'

She froze then glared at them "Hey! Thought you were all supposed to be on my side!"
'We are it's just...we need to get stronger-' said Mind
'-Her magic is incredibly powerful-' added Magic
'-even though we have immortality, she can still disintegrate us in one blast.' finished Magic 2.

Kumoko sighed and said "Yeah yeah...But am I the only one that feels that something is...different?"

Mind, Magic 1 and Magic 2 thought. 'Actually, it does. Something about the forest- no...something about the world has changed-!' concluded Mind.
Magic 1 said 'Let's take a look at that mushroom there…-'
Kumoko looked at an odd, glowing mushroom and picked it up. "Alright...Apparatus time-!" And it glowed brightly. Kumoko dropped it after it nearly blinded her, but luckily she had the answer:

'..Eh?'

'..Eh…?'

"EH-!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'MATERIAL NOT FOUND'-!? WORK WITH ME APPARATUS!"

She begged as she tried to use it again and again, but the results were the same: This didn't seem to be something the apparatus could identify. As matter of fact, this was like a new element that was unfamiliar to it. Magic 1 and 2 are currently trying to understand what it is or what it could be used for. But unfortunately, the last time Kumoko tried to touch it, she became disoriented- so much so her vision went dark. Mind groaned 'Is this what D was trying to contact us about?'

Rimuru was in town, trying to calm down the citizens from this potential threat. Benimaru and Shion were on their way to assist him.

Rimuru waited with anticipation and apprehension; it's been a while since he sent the two to scope the area. 'I hope they're ok- No. No I'm sure they are...But. Just in case, I should go after them if they haven't come back in 5 minutes.' A bead of sweat escaped his neutral expression.

"Rimuru-! Is there any information about the power surge from up north yet?" Asked Benimaru. Rimuru turned to him and shook his head "Not yet. I'm still waiting for Souei and Souka to return-" And just like that, they returned, with Souei carrying Souka. He placed her down gently as Rimuru rushed over "Is she ok-!?" asked Shion. More worried murmurs came up as Rimuru crouched down and asked as calmly as he could "Souei, what happened? And please tell me everything."

Slowly, the shades of greens, blues and the brightness of the sun returned to her as she groaned, once again holding her head. "Ok...at least i'm not dead-" Said Kumoko as she dizzily got up. Whatever that mushroom was made of really gave her a headache. But on the bright side, she did gain a new ability.

"Wait what-!?"

Magic 2 sighed as Mind facepalmed. 'Otherworld Encyclopedia…' repeated Magic 1 as Kumoko stared at said stat. "Oh NO-! We are NOT in some sort of isekai-inception! Wait wouldn't it be Ise-ception..? Whatever! Forget it! We can't be in another world OF ANOTHER WORLD-!"

Mind then lifted their head 'Hold on there...I think this might actually be good news.' Everyone looked at them. "HUUUH-!?"

'Think about it-! This is a new world right?'
"Yeah..?"
'Then that means quite a lot of things: 1. Our problems with the Demon Lord and the end of the world: Gone-'

Everyone stared.

'-2. If this is another world, then we can start from scratch- BUT! We still have all our powers last we left-!'

Everyone kept staring, this time a twinkle in their eyes.

'-And could get stronger like never before! Get more abilities then we would back in our world! Maybe we could even evolve to…'

"THE ARACHNE!" They all whooped in unison.

Kumoko smiled wide "WOOO! YES! I CAN FINALLY GET THAT- Well somewhat- HUMAN FORM!"

'YESSS!'

"I CAN FINALLY TALK TO PEOPLE WITHOUT SCARING THEM!"

'YEAAA!'

"I CAN-" a twig broke behind her. She froze as she had to cut her freedom celebration short. Behind her stood someone with long, soft blue hair, golden eyes. They wore a long jacket, something that looks like a scarf. She used apparatus on them…

…

...They stared at her. She stared back, if she could turn pale, she would've.

One of her parallels piped up. 'I told you we should've killed him.'

Kumoko gulped "...Noted.."

"Souei, what happened? And please tell me everything."

Souei took a deep breath then said "Lord Rimuru...The main cause of this occurrence is.."

"A monster spider-!?" "How can this be?" "How can a spider have that much power-" And the murmurings went on.

"A spider..?" mumbled Rimuru.

'Great Mage, is there any spider that can do this?'

'ANSWER: No known monster spider species' No known huh..?

Rimuru looked over as Souka gasped awake. She got up and held her chest. She looked around then bowed her head. "Apologies master Rimuru-!" she kneeled "I was not strong enough to surpass such aura-! I will try harder next time!"

Rimuru's eyes soften "Hey, it's ok. It wasn't your fault-"

She looked up "But-"

"It had some sort of fear aura by the sounds of it. And if it could reach all the way here, it's understandable. You did your best, and that's all I can ask of you- of all of you." Her eyes glimmered "Great Rimuru…"

He nodded "Now, according to Souei, it can understand us- actually...how did you find out it could speak?"

Souei shook his head. "It cannot speak. However, Some sort of strange small box appeared and it emitted some sort of sound. It then said something about an Administrator named 'D', and the spider seems to know what it is and how it works."

Administrator D? And a small box- Wait. A phone-!?

"And the device wouldn't happen to glow, wouldn't it?" He needed to confirm-

"Yes- Yes actually-! Do you know of such a device?"

And thus, realization set in within Rimuru. A sparkle in his eye as he now understands the predicament.

"S-Somewhat- heh. I remember...reading it somewhere."

Benimaru smiled slightly as Shion grinned "Nothing our Great Rimuru wouldn't know-!"

Rimuru then got up. "I'll go check out our visitor-"

"Master Rimuru-!" Ranga jumped over. "Please-! Take me with you-!"

Rimuru looked over then smiled slightly.
"It's ok, I think I can handle this one."
"But master-!"
"It's really fine-! And I think I can talk to them." Ranga sat down and nodded obediently "Ok..."

He extended his wings and then took off.

'Great Sage, please help me target the epicenter of the fear aura.'

'TARGET LOCATING...LOCATING…TARGET LOCATING FAILED. RETRY. FAIL. RETR-.'

This wasn't going anywhere-

'Ok, um, what about the area?'

'RELOCATING-'

And almost like that Bingo-

'LOCATION TARGETED'

He landed near the clearing where he spotted an odd white and pink patterned spider. 'Ok, now let's see if we can take a look at your stats-' He took one step and it turned around. The fear aura grew stronger, he squinted as he then felt it's stare go through him.

He then saw his stats open up and the fear aura diminishing. It closed as the spider stepped back, still staring.

Well, here goes nothing-

"Hi-!"

Is this it? Is this where her story ends? Has the life of the reincarnation of a school girl turned spider reached its last chapter? Kumoko felt her heart rate raise as she braced for an attack, any attack-! Any moment now-

"Hi-!"

She perked up. Was that...-!?

She looked over in awe. 'THEY KNOW JAPANESE-!' yelped the parallels.

"I'm Rimuru, Well, in this life-" -No way..!

"In this life-!?"

He looked surprised "Wait, you can actually speak?"

It was almost like a powder keg. That moment, that singular moment. Kumoko felt her whole being jump. No way. Did he just..He could..

"W-Wait.." He looked over-

"I-" She began tearing up. "-Y-You could understand me…"

"-I...I guess I can-! Hey-"

The tears wouldn't stop. "Hey-! Hey-! Its ok-!" He tried to comfort her.

"N-No-" She hiccup "-You don't understand-! It's been forever since I was able to talk to someone that wasn't myself or that evil god-! I-! I-" She sobbed

'Evil god..? I'll ask her later...because right now-'

"Shhh...Let it all out."

'-She seems to really have gone through a lot.'

Kumoko sniffled and calmed down after a while as Rimuru said "Ok, if you want to, please tell me what happened...and if you can, start from the beginning."

After all this time, she found someone who actually can understand what she's saying, someone who can understand what she went through. Someone who can help her. Finally. However, in the old world, Rimuru would have gone on with his day and planned to become a teacher...to keep his promise. With Kumoko's arrival, what's going to happen now..?

"That...was only the beginning."

Rimuru looked horrified "Geez-! What kind of hellish cave did you spawn in-!?"
She stood up and looked at him "I KNOW RIGHT! BUT! Look at me now! I've evolved!" and pose! "Anyways! Back to my-" Dramatic pose "-tragic tale of triumph!"

Rimuru was flabbergasted "AN ENTIRE ARMY OF MONKEYS-!?"

Kumoko nodded "Honestly I still can't believe I made it out of there alive-! I'm glad I picked up that poison ability while I could otherwise I would've died a loooong time ago-!"

Rimuru then pounded his chest and pointed at her. "That is some resilience if I do say so though-!"

She nodded, smiling "Thanks! And that's not even half of it-!"

"Geeez…-!"

"AND IT WAS SO GOOD I BLACKED OUT-!"

"WHAT-!? IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE-!?"

"APPARENTLY-!"

"Man, IS it a good thing that something that good exists or is it dangerous…?"

"Who knows! But I knew as soon as I took a bite, it was gone-" She snapped "Just like that!"

"Are there like mini-yous in your mind or how does it work?"

"Well you see…"

"So that's who Administrator D is…"

"You HEARD OF HER-!?"

"Only just today-! A friend of mine just scouted this area is all-"

"THAT STALKER WAS YOUR FRIEND-!?"

"What-!? He's not a stalker! He was just here to make sure everything was fine-!"

She gave him a look. "I thought I was gonna die again-!"

"I'm sorry-! He was just to make sure whoever was here was safe-"

"But I'm a friendly spider-! I have healing spell-!"

Rimuru chuckled "And I'm a friendly slime-! I can make healing potions and stuff-"

Kumoko took a double take "YOU- YOU'RE A SLIME-!?"

Rimuru nodded "Yep-! Look-" then quickly showed her. Her eyes glimmered "You're so small-!"

"Heh. Yeah yeah, I know." He shifted back to human.

"Dang...That's awesome-! You need to tell me how you did it-"

"Uuuh-" He looked aside "Afterwards ok?" He looked back "Keep going, you're a pretty good story teller."

"Oh, well thank you-! It's been a while since I really talked to someone after all- Anyways, after that I had to fight an entire army of dragons-"

"ANOTHER ARMY-!?"

"Yep"

"DRAGONS-!?"

"uh-huh!"

"IN LAVA-!?"

"YEP"

"That fight...was brutal…But it was a fight I needed to do..for myself- to finally say that I have a chance to save this crumbling world of mine-! I went after that Earth Dragon..."

She paused...

Rimuru listened intently. Damn did she really have to do this-!? "So what happened next?"

Kumoko smirked "Look who made it out alive."

"That..IS INCREDIBLE-!"

Kumoko smirked and "Fu-hu-hu-! But ah my friend-!" She looked over. "It's not over yet~"

"H-Huh-"

"I still have to make it out of that cave-"

"Man, to turn against your own family…" Rimuru pretended to shake his head in disappointment.

Kumoko shrugged and looked away dramatically "It came to it ya know."

"Looks like you're trying to kill everyone in your village-" He smiled.

She smirked then mumbled, looking down "It must be done-!" she cackled as Rimuru joined in

"Hey mind if I-"

Rimuru used his own apparatus, with the help of Great Sage… He stared "...She really did just give you immortality.."

"Yep."

"Does it feel any different?"

"Not really, I still feel like me. Besides! That saved me from being disintegrated entirely!"

"H-HUH-!?"

"Demon lord shenanigans-!" She quickly said.

Rimuru stared "HOW MANY ARMIES DID YOU HAVE TO FIGHT-!?"

Kumoko raised her hands "THIS IS THE LAST ONE-! THIS IS THE LAST ONE! I PROMISE-! I'M ALMOST DONE-!"

"Aaaand that's my life so far-!" She sighed.

Rimuru Stared...What a freaking life. He sighed from the incredulous tale "Well...at least demon lords here don't chase spiders..

"Thank God-!" She exasperated. Then she looked at him. "So..What's your story? How are you doing in this world?"

"Compared to what you did, it's almost nothing-"

"Come on, I told you my life's story, its only fair-! You still need to tell me how you're able to turn human-! like-? How did you survive-? How are you here? What friends did you meet? I need that tea!"

Rimuru chuckled "Alright! Alright-!…It all started when I got stabbed-"

"Eh-!? A dragon-!? Already?! And it didn't kill you-!?"

"Well I mean-! He was trapped so...He couldn't do anything. And he was actually pretty lonely-"

"Don't tell me you-"

"Became friends with him, yes-! His name is-"

"HOW-!? THE DRAGONS I'VE MET ALL WANTED TO KILL ME-!"

"I'm sorry-! Look, bare with me ok-"

"YOU ARE SO LUCKY-! AAAHH-!"

Rimuru sighed "Turns out naming them takes a lot of magicules...I fell asleep for like a couple days after that-!"

Kumoko then looked pretty confused "Wait wait- Magicules?"

He looked over and nodded "Oh yeah-! See magic here uses what's called magicules and it's kinda like the MP of this world but..."

This time, Kumoko was flabbergasted "No way-!"

Rimuru smiled "Yep."

"NO WAY-! YOU BUILT A TOWN-!?"

He chuckled "Hey-! No spoilers-"

Kumoko was now wriggling with anticipation "OK OK-! BUT YOU NEED TO TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU GOT THERE-!"

He raised his hands in surrender "Alright alright-! But just wait ok-! I'm getting there-!"

She looked down "Oh...That's how you got your human form.. I..Um..Sorry for your loss.."

Rimuru sighed and said "Its ok...It was actually going to happen either way..." 'I haven't forgotten our promise..don't worry…'

Kumoko looked over "Was it like...a time limit or..? If you don't mind me asking that is..."

He shook his head "I don't mind...it was more like.."

And so the two went on finishing each of their tales; Both their struggles and their triumphs, their battles and wars. Finally after a while, they got up. Rimuru stretched then looked up, he was taken aback "Eh-!? Sun down already-?!"

Kumoko frowned "Aw-! Damn-" And her stomach growled. "..Well...Looks like i'll have to take a raincheck on sleeping…"

Rimuru looked at her "What do you mean?" "I have to go hunting or something-" "Hold on there-!" "Hm?" "Why not come with me?" She looked in awe "You're kidding? Really?! But what if-" "It's ok, i'll explain it to them, I'm sure they'll understand."

She looked down.

'Should we go for it?'
'I don't see why not, it doesn't seem that he's lying…'
'Besides he told us everything that happened- including the town-! They have a hotel-!'
'Hot, running water and a hot spring-'
'-DELICIOUS FOOD-!'

She looked up. "And...everyone there are monsters too?"

"Friendly monsters if you were wondering, and very kind ones too. Sometimes we do get adventurers but they're cool."

She smiled slightly. "Alright...Um.."

"Yeah?"

"Mind if I start training too?"

"Oh sure-! Because you want to evolve?"

"Yeah..I just...I really need a human form too. In case a certain SOMEONE who is most LIKELY LISTENING decides that I should go back."

'Hehehe~'

"Alright-! But just so you know, you can stay as long as you'd like. As for me, in a few days i'll be off."

"Hm? Oh-! Its to meet up with that one guy right?"

"Yeah-! By the sound of his name, he's most likely Japanese too-"

"Ooooh-! He's been isekai-ed too?"

"Most likely-! Don't know for how long but we'll see"

Rimuru then spread his wings, allowing Kumoko to crawl up as they continued.

"Wait, does that mean a bunch of people have been isekai-ed here?"

"From what Shizue told me, a quite a bit-"

"-Dang-! I wish I was reincarnated here now-!"

And off they flew, chatting away while the sun setted behind them

It's been a whole day, yet no signs of Rimuru or the supposed infamous spider. Of course, no one should be worried about Rimuru- considering the power he possesses. The only change was the pressure of the fear aura, which decreased significantly throughout the day. There were no explosions, no sounds of a skirmish, yet quite a few members couldn't help but worry

Ranga was still in the same place, laying down, waiting for his master to return. The rest were off in their duties in Rimuru's absence. Shion was pacing the floor of the main building. She was already done with all the tasks Rimuru has given her for the day.

The sound of the door creak made her heart leap. She turned around "GREAT RIMURU-!" "-Shion? Has- ah.." There was Shuna, she also just finished her duties. "Oh..He's not here yet." Shion groaned impatiently as she sat on a nearby seat. Shuna walked over then silently began petting her.

She looked over and said "Thank you Shuna...But-"

"I understand...I'm worried as well- I'm sure we are all worried...But he said he'll be back, and I'm sure we all trust him as much."

"I..assume so.." She shakily sighed.

That's when they heard a commotion outside, loud barking and-

"GREAT RIMURU-!" They yelped in unison as they headed over immediately.
