"Tenuki Girl shoots, she so scores hehe, only now I have to get home before Aunt Riley and uncle Ranger find out I've been out all night." a voice said.
It belonged to a female tenuki youngster who happened to be Rock-E's daughter in indestructible purple armour but she was gifted with many incredible powers so after the Secret Wars, she'd decided to put her dream of being a superheroine into motion while her dad and step-mom, Piper Quill were exploring the galaxy and her sister, Shocket was living with her uncle, Howard Da Duck and her best friend and soulmate, Linda, Casey was living with her aunt Riley and uncle Ranger who were Rock-E's sibs but had promised Rockie to look after Casey.
They didn't know their extraordinary niece was sneaking out at night as her alter-ego, Tenuki Girl and fighting bad guys keeping her home in 610 safe despite ending up on the morning news, flying back to her house entering her room through her window changing into pyjamas using her super-speed power in case Ranger and Riley checked on her getting into bed, snuggling her stuffed tenuki, Bento telling him what had happened despite yawning, zoning out into sleep dreaming of being an Avenger or Guardian of the Galaxy one day when she was a grown-up.
Later she was awakened around noon, by her stomach making her giggle relieving Ranger and Riley, they had no clue why she was tired or slept until noon but had news that uncle Rockie was visiting which made her happy, he was the one who had encouraged her to become Tenuki Girl in the first place, hoping nothing was wrong eating cherry pancakes, her favourite hearing them ask her, why she was always tired which made her gulp, if they figured out she was Tenuki Girl, they would stop her from helping others like if her dad and Piper found out making an uneasy feeling stir in her belly.
"Casey you alright, you know you can tell us anything." Riley said.
That just added to that feeling, thinking happy thoughts which made the feeling shrink relieving her as she had afternoon classes at school grabbing her backpack leaving the house after transforming into her human form, which was something cool tenukis like her coulddo, the only indication she was one was hertail which was tucked gently into her favourite khaki-green trousers with the hood of her favourite black hooded top over her head which hid her tenuki ears, she could still hear everything around her through her super-heightened hearing, one of her many incredible powers only a lot of kids knew she was tenuki, wondering why she masqueraded as a human which annoyed her transforming back into her furty self, whiskers and all looking at herselfin the mirror of the girl's room.
"At least nobody thinks I'm a superheroine, just me." she said softly.
She made it to her class seeing it was art one of her favourite subjects, feeling inspired hoping her dad and Piper were alright out there in the galaxy, she had tried contacting them using her comm bracelet which Rocket had made her only they had not picked up which made her worry, hearing commotion outside seeing her sister, Shocket in fights with mean kids seeing the teacher rushing outside.
"She's in so much trouble, but she doesn't care." she mumbled
"Isn't she your sister, you don't look the same." a kid near Casey said making her sigh, she was used to this but ignored them.
Thankfully school let out making Casey happy, going to get some ice-tea at her favourite cafe which she did everyday after school, sitting at her usual table listeing to J-pop music on her earbuds wondering what her uncle from 616 wanted, she hadn't gotten into trouble like Shocket sipping ice-tea feeling her phone as it was WhatsApp and her aunt wondering where she was replying.
After paying, she left the cafe going to her aunt and uncle's house which was on the Halfworld side of Tokyo where hyper-evolved animals like her dad, stepmom, aunt and uncle lived but she went to school in the heart of the city, arriving home relieving Ranger, Riley and her uncle Rockie, asking where she had been after school let out.
"I was getting some ice tea, alright." Casey said.
"Ohhhh, okay then, we've been talking to your uncle about things." Ranger began.
This made her curious and excited, seeing Ranger, Riley and her uncle exchange a smirk at this, seeing her eyes widen hearing Rocket saying she was coming with him to his dimension grinning, Tenuki Girl could help Terrans and animals too in New York making Rocket chuckle seeing her go pack which was a good thing.
"Wait, won't your Casey be weirded out that I'm in the same dimension." she asked.
Uffed tenuki"Nope, she's excited, I told her about you." Rocket replied seeing she was almost done putting her uffed tenuki into her backpack which Rocket got, his Casey slept with hers and snuggled hers a lot seeing she was all packed putting them into the moving-trailer attached to the Milano as Casey hugged her aunt and uncle gntly so her super-strength power didn't break any bones which Rocket found sweet seeing her following him onto the ship.
"Ready to go, Tenuki Girl?" he said seeing her nodding.
She watched as the ship took off into the skies leaving 610 after her uncle engaged the jump-point finding themselves in the 616-galaxy impressing Casey, feeling sleepy taking an nap snuggling Bento which he found adorable, hoping Rock-E and Piper were alright out there knowing Casey was worried about them.
"You can try calling when we get to the campus, alright?" he whispered to her.
"Wow the galaxy is vast, eh Piper?" Rock-E said.
"Yes but we've gotten voicemails from Casey, is she okay, were we wrong, to leave her with Ranger and Riley?" Piper said.
"She's fine but nervous, she gets anxious when we're apart too long." Rock-E replied.
He and his newly-married wife, Piper Quill were in their Milano exploring the galaxy because this was something Rock-E had wanted to do after living on Terra 610 most of his life so that was why Casey was with Ranger and Riley, while Shocket was with Howard and Linda as they would explore the galaxy as a family one day sending a hologram message to Casey's comm bracelet, it would reassure their sweet little tenuki they were okay, they'd be home soon with plenty of stories to tell her and Shocket surprised Casey was in 616, wondering what was goijg on, messaging Ranger and Riley...
