"Ah, hello Sunny Girl," he said as he sat her strawberry daquiri down. Grabbing the rag, he wiped off the counter next to her and smiled.

"Evening, Jarome," she replied as she sipped her drink. "You know, you never told me why you call me Sunny Girl."

As he walked over to tend to the next customer, he laughed, "Well, you bring sun to my dark days. I've enjoyed having you here every day for the past week." Looking at his new customer he asked, "What will it be?"

She heard the customer ask for a Colorado Bulldog and saw Jarome begin fixing it. "Well, it has been a good week. I'm just sorry to see it end."

"Oh, but you can stay here with me, be my Sunny Girl and help me out here with the drinks," Jarome offered. "I'll even give you a place to stay."

"Now that is an offer I can and will refuse," she stated as she took her drink and slipped off the bar stool. "It's time for me to enjoy my last night here and dance some."

Heading to the dance area, she noticed a couple of guys checking her out. One she reached the dance area, she felt someone behind her. Turning around she saw one of the men she had passed. "Hi there," he said with a smile, "My name is Clinton. What's yours?"

"Well, down here, I'm known as Sunny or Sunny Girl."

Clinton led her farther on the dance floor and wrapped her in his arms. After dancing for thirty minutes, she finally led him off the floor in search of a drink. After they both had new drinks, they decided to take a walk along the shoreline.

"So, Sunny, what brought you here to Jamacia?"

"Vacation for me, myself, and I. What about you?"

"Same. I just needed sometime away from everyone and everything back home. Had some time saved up and some extra cash and here I am." After taking a sip of his drink, Clinton asked, "How long are you here for?"

"One more night. I have a flight back home tomorrow afternoon."

"Well, that sucks. I just started my vacation today and you are ending yours tomorrow. I knew I should have come down here soon."

They walked along the beach and talked for close to two hours before the sun started to set. As they headed back to Jarome's little tiki hut bar, Clinton grabbed Sunny's hand in his. Looking at her, he smiled when she didn't pull away.

After a few more drinks at the bar, Jarome stated he was shutting down for the night. Storms were coming in and the patrons had pretty much already left for shelter. Sunny looked at Clinton, "What plans do you have for the night?"

"Spending time with you, I hope," was his reply.

Sunny fought with herself for a moment and decided she was only there for one more night and needed to enjoy it. "Well, how about we go back to my room and order some food and drinks?"

Once they were in Sunny's room and the door was shut and locked, their lips met in a crushing kiss. Clinton's hands were under Sunny's shirt and heading towards her breasts. Stopping himself before things went too far, he pulled away and sighed.

"Look, no full names, no phone numbers that neither one of us will answer. It's a one-night stand. Use me like I'll use you and we both can walk away tomorrow and have a memory of a wonderful night in Jamaica."

Clinton looked in Sunny's eyes searching for something he wasn't sure he'd find. He saw the truth of her words in her eyes and even though he wasn't sure he wanted to walk away; he knew they only had tonight.

Without another word, clothes were dropped on the floor on the way to the bed. When the back of her knees hit the mattress, Clinton followed Sunny down and stretched out on top of her keeping he weight on his arms.

After hours of mind-blowing sex, they fell asleep with Sunny wrapped in Clinton's arms, her head on his chest.

Sunny woke up when the light started streaming through the windows; she'd forgotten to pull the curtains last night. Once she stirred, she felt Clinton's arm tighten around her. "Morning, Sunshine," she heard him whisper.

"Morning, Clinton. How'd I end up with a new name?"

"It's a beautiful morning, and you are my Sunshine. What time is your flight?"

Resting her chin on his chest, she looked at him and smiled, "I need to be at the airport at two. Did you have plans for this morning?"

His only response was to flip her on her back and begin kissing her from her eyes to her toes. He may have stopped and kissed a few places longer than others, but neither of them seemed to mind.

Once she was curled into his side once again, he talked as he caressed her arm, "So, where do you live?"

"I thought we said no names or numbers. Just one night of wonderful memories."

"I didn't ask for a number, just wondering what state my Sunshine lives in."

"New Jersey," she replied. After she kissed his chest she asked, "And you?"

"Right now, I live in Virginia. I'm trying to figure out where I want to move to and what I want to do for a job."

"What do you mean what you want to do for a job? What do you do now?"

"I just finished my stint in the military. I'm ready to get out and do something else. Just not sure what."

"I wondered what the tattoo was for," she said as she used her finger and traced the figure eight outline.

"If you look close enough, you'll see it reads, 'my life for your life'" he said as he raised his arm for her to see closer.

"Wow, I thought it was just an infinity symbol. I had no idea it was done with words." Without thinking about it, she leaned up and kissed his tattoo.

All too soon it was time for her to head to the airport, "Can I take you?" he asked as his slipped his shirt over his head while sitting on the edge of the bed.

"As much as I want to say yes, I think it is probably best if I just leave here with the memory of you on the bed looking sexy as hell." She walked over to him and gave him a gentle kiss. "Goodbye Clinton. Thank you for the wonderful memories that I'll never forget."

She walked to the door, smiled back at him and left before he whispered, "Goodbye, Sunshine."
