Ulrich362: Actually, it's one of three ideas that all are... sort of similar, though this one is the most unique of the three.
bopdog111: We have three in development with female routes different for P4, and P5 but those are for a later time. You all might be thinking what makes this different as P3 already has a female route.
Ulrich362: Well, that would be the fact that we're including both routes… and the female route might not be who you're expecting.

Ulrich362: Exactly. So hopefully you enjoy this fic along with the Persona 4 and Persona 5 ones. Oh and unlike those two… this one is starting at the end, not the beginning.

It was at a small void was where two beings was at. One of them is a teenage blue haired boy wielding a one-handed sword wearing a high school uniform with a red band on his left arm saying 'S.E.E.S.' on it staring up at a large yellow glowing orb with multiple white hands. The boy was Minato Arisato, the field leader of the team of S.E.E.S. or better known by it's name Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, a group of Persona Users that dedicate there lives to defeat the Shadows, and eliminate the Dark Hour.
The other being is Nyx, the Night Mother, and a God had granted Death to humanity, and is here to bring forth the Fall a prophecy which is to tell that her appraiser will summon her at the top of Tartarus, and bring the end of humanity. She herself cannot be defeated but despite that fact Minato's team refused to back down, and will fight until the very last to try to stop her no matter the cost. They managed to defeat her appraiser but he only shrugged there assault, and summoned Nyx completely.
Now back down to a corner Minato with the aid of his Social Links, and residents of the Velvet Room, Igor, and Elizabeth all formed a power that Minato takes as the Power of the Universe as with it, he can be able to finally defeat Nyx, and stop the Fall. Now he is here with her ready to fight one final battle to stop her.
Nyx began gathering energy before unleashing a massive wave of pure death at Minato knocking him to the ground as he barely managed to hold on from the assault.
"GAH!"
Minato despite feeling a thousand weights pulling his body down from the attack managed to hang in there, and charged forward landing a strike on Nyx with his one-handed sword which dealt very little towards Nyx as if a insect bit her. Undeterred Nyx repeated her earlier attack firing it at Minato again which this time knocked him down to the ground with a painful cry.
"There's nothing we can do!?" was the voice of one of Minato's comrades, Ken Amada as if sensing Minato's troubles.
"Don't give up, we have to believe in him!" was the voice of Akihiko Sanada refusing to back down.
"Give him strength! Take my life, if you must!" was the voice of Mitsuru Kirijo, the leader of S.E.E.S. believing in Minato.
From there white light gathered around as Minato feels some of his wounds quickly healing from the bonds with his friends which he slowly rose up with a grunt. "I'm not... staying down!"
Seeing that Nyx tried using the same attack a third time only for this time it somehow missed Minato completely though he was still badly weakened from the first two attacks.
"Yeah, I'm willing to risk mine, too!" was the voice of Yukari Takeba, another member of S.E.E.S.
"He's going to face it all by himself!" was the voice of Fuuka Yamagishi the girl who helped guide S.E.E.S. this far.
"No, He's not alone! I won't let him die!" was the voice of Junpei Iori, a member of S.E.E.S. who had already lost someone he loved.
More white lights gathered around Minato from the bonds of his friends quickly recovering from his injuries. Moving forward he attacked Nyx again which did the same result as before. Now starting to get annoyed Nyx charged the same attack unleashing it at Minato again, and although not showing she was stunned seeing he didn't get hit again.
"Bark bark!" was the barking of Koromaru, the loyal canine of S.E.E.S. who also believes in Minato.
"I won't allow this world to be destroyed!" was the voice of Aigis, a Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon, who Minato helped figure out what it means to live.
"Alright, let's do this." was the voice of someone Minato never thought he hear again, Shinjiro Aragaki, his comrade who had been killed by Strega's leader, Takaya Sakaki.
More white lights gathered before Minato feels his wounds have fully been recovered restoring him to full strength. Minato closed his eyes, "Nyx... If you think humanity is waiting here for you to pick us off..." He pulls out his Evoker readying it at his head before snapping his eyes open, "You are SORELY mistaken!"
He pulled the trigger as what appeared above him was Orpheus Telos, the complete form of Orpheus, his first Persona along with being it's true form after completing his Social Links as he charged energy before Minato declared pointing at Nyx, "GREAT SEAL!"
The moment he said that a flash of light enveloped them both.
Somewhere...
Minato was drifting through a white void before he slowly opened his eyes seeing he's in the void. "Huh...? What happened?" Quickly recalling what he had done he asked, "Did... Did it work?"
He saw images of his friends floating in a strange space like area.
"Where are we...?" Yukari asked.
"Did Nyx create this place? ...Or was it, him?" Mitsuru inquired.
"Is he alright, Fuuka!? What happened!?" Akihiko questioned nervously.
"Everything was engulfed by a bright light... I don't sense him." Fuuka answered uncertainly.
"Don't tell me he..." Ken whispered looking down.
"No! That can't be!" Junpei argued. "Try again! He can't be the only one...!"
Fuuka only sadly looked down shaking her head as Junpei's eyes widened.
"You gotta be kidding me..." he whispered.
Akihiko stared at the ground in frustration, "Dammit... not again...!"
Mitsuru looked down. "We all decided to put our lives on the line... In fact, we came here knowing we would most likely die."
"How could I be so powerless...?" Aigis asked herself looking down saddened. "This is what I was trying to prevent!"
Yukari with tears down her face yelled up at the space. "You're there, aren't you!? I know you are! I refuse to believe that you're gone! Answer me! I know you can hear me!"
"We're here! Please let us hear your voice!" Aigis called.
'Everyone...' Minato thought hearing that. "It's alright..."
As if hearing him from where she's at Aigis, and Yukari gasped looking up at the sky.
"Don't worry." a familiar voice rang which stunned everyone as a hand takes Minato's shoulder.
Turning around he sees the face of a smiling boy who he sees is Ryoji Mochizuki the human form of Death AKA Nyx Avatar, and the appraiser that Minato, and his friends defeated before the battle with Nyx began.
"That voice...!"
Ryoji turned over to the image there seeing voicing towards them, "I will sleep once again. Normal days will return to this universe, for you all... He's found the answer to life's greatest question. It just happened a bit sooner than it will for the rest of you."
"Life's greatest question..." Aigis trailed off hearing that.
"Don't worry, you all will see him again." Ryoji assured everyone before saying, "Right now he has another step of his journey he needs to take. A important part that will determine to see if things will be different. That's a promise."
"Huh?" Minato was quite confused over what Ryoji is talking about wondering what he means by that.
That's when he saw the massive orb that was Nyx appearing behind him. Minato readied himself for a possible fight while Ryoji turned over with a smile. Soon the orb slowly disformed turning into someone which is a girl.
The girl has auburn hair, which she always has in a single ponytail, along with barrettes which form the roman numeral XXII, and is also seemingly shorter than Minato himself with closed eyes before she collapsed.
Surprised at this Minato ran over while Ryoji walked over slowly changing shape as Minato knelled over her, "Hey you alright?" He doesn't really get what just happened. Nyx just appeared with him, and Ryoji, and then somehow some girl appeared? What the hell is going on here?
The girl's eyes slowly opened showing red eyes as she sighed placing a hand on her head groaning, "Oh my head... What just..." Then she noticed Minato, and widen her eyes before getting up, "YOU! What did you do!?"
"What?" Minato was confused over what this girl means by that. "What are you talking about?"
"I know you did something cause, I know this wasn't gonna-!" the girl paused looking over herself seeing herself, "What? I have a body!? When did this happen!?"
Minato grew even more confused before someone voiced, "You seem to need an explanation." Hearing that the two looked over seeing a short blue haired boy wearing a jailor uniform having a smile. Minato recognizes him, the form that Death greeted him in.
"Pharos..."
Pharos chuckled, "I'm glad you remembered this form Minato. I was worried that it might've fallen out of practice."
"You, what have you done to me?" the girl questioned.
Pharos turned over to her saying, "Dear mother, it's me. Your child."
"My what?" the girl raised an eyebrow.
"This would prove it." Pharos in front of them transformed into his true form, the same form Ryoji showed Minato in a attempt to convince him to kill him to eliminate the memories of the Dark Hour, and have S.E.E.S. die happy instead of suffering for when it comes.
The girl's eyes widened. "That's, now I remember... but what are you doing now? What is this form?"
Pharos transformed back to normal looking at this. "Well dear mother. The Great Seal that Minato attempted to do had the opposite effect."
"What?" Minato questioned hearing that. "But... how? If it didn't work the Fall..."
"There's no need to worry. Instead of keeping Erebus away, time is being reversed." What he said to them surprised them before Pharos said to them, "The Great Seal you attempted to try to keep Erebus from contacting mother is instead changing time. We are heading back to the beginning where this all began, to where you arrive at Tatsumi Port Island."
"What about me looking like this?" the girl asked gesturing towards her form.
Before Pharos can explain that Minato asked her, "Hang on a second, who are you, and how do you know Pharos?"
"I swear sometimes mortals like you are so ignorant." the girl said in annoyance before pointing out to him, "I'm the same Goddess, you used that attack on, Nyx."
Minato's eyes widened in shock. "You're Nyx?"
She glared at him before turning to Pharos. "Well, why do I look like this?"
"It was one of the effects that happened from the Great Seal's effect dear mother." Pharos explained at that before saying, "Just like how I developed a human form from being into Minato's psyche, his unfaltering will had caused you to have a human form as well."
Nyx frowned looking at her new body before frowning.
"Wait, but if we're going back in time... this is all going to happen again isn't it?" Minato asked Pharos. "We're stuck in an endless loop?"
"Oh no. It was an unintended side effect that the Great Seal had done during your final battle Minato." Pharos assured Minato with a smile. "But to answer yes everything will all happen once again. Only with some changes. First since mother developed a human form, it means she will have to accompany in your new part of the journey."
"What?" Nyx widen her eyes hearing that.
"I figure there is another reason why circumstances like this are taken. For what that is... I don't know." Pharos admitted softly to his creator. "But I figure the best way to figure that out is by you being with Minato, mother. Your power as the Goddess of Night had weakened significantly as a result of what's going on so I want you to be safe with Minato."
Nyx looked irritated before sighing. "And that will return me to normal?"
"Possibly." Pharos answered.
"What about you? If time is being reversed does this mean you will be split again?" Minato asked Pharos.
Pharos nodded to him a bit sadly. "Yes. Luckily since I'm with you, and mother my memories will remain in tact Minato. But now that you know what will happen if you defeat my 12 forms again, will you take the chance?"
Minato looked down hearing that. Pharos' is right, he does know what will happen if all 12 of the Shadows that appear in the Full Moon are defeated once more. Yukari's father, had urged them to leave them alone as if there defeated then Pharos' real form as Death will be fully restored once more to become the appraiser to bring forth the Fall. If they leave the Shadows alone then that would be solved, however...
"Well... two reasons why we have to fight them again." Minato holds up two fingers to Pharos for him to listen.
Pharos blinked at that before nodding. "What are they?"
"1. Even if we avoid to fight them, the Lost will continue to grow over, and if we don't do anything to stop them it will be become a globalwide pandemic so if we don't fight them humanity will become extinct that way." Minato finished his first reason before saying his second reason, "And 2. If we do try to avoid them... I think Nyx would try to destroy them herself even with all these risks which can potentially put her in grave danger."
Nyx looked at him surprised from thinking the last thing she would expect from him is to care about her despite the hostilities they both share.
"So it's these two reasons that we cannot simply let these Shadows roam around, they have to be defeated for the Lost to recover." Minato said to Pharos before adding. "As for what we will do when the Fall comes... we have a year to figure that out."
Pharos softly smiled to him. "I knew I can depend on you Minato." He nodded before turning to Nyx, "And dear mother?"
"If it's the only way to get things back to normal I'll go along with it, something about him changed you... maybe I'll figure out what that something was over this year." she answered.
Pharos nodded with a smile. "Well I know it'll be hard to process... But dear mother, there is something else I want you to try."
"You're pushing this." she warned him.
Pharos didn't take the threat like she expected instead only smiled. "I also believed that humanity can be saved... Despite all of people's wishes for the Fall, there are some who stand against it, and try to stop it. So throughout the year... try to bond over with S.E.E.S... I believe that they will show you if humanity truly wishes for the Fall. I hold out hope that they will survive."
Nyx frowned before sighing as another flash of light enveloped the three of them.
"We will talk more when you arrive at the Dorm. Take care." Pharos said to them waving.
Minato opened his eyes seeing himself on a familiar train as he looked over. Nyx was asleep and was wearing a female Gekkoukan outfit. Minato looked at her before looking at his phone to see what the date is.

'So we really are back at when I arrive...' Minato thought taking into thought of what Pharos told them. Looking over at Nyx he thinks, 'Whoa... she actually looks pretty...'
"Attention passengers, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay, next stop is..."
Remembering this moment Minato removed his headphones, and softly shakes Nyx. She stirred as her dark blue eyes slowly opened. "What... what happened? There was a flash of light and... where are we?"
"We're about to arrive at Iwatodai Station." Minato explained to her, "The Dark Hour will be active in a few minutes. We better get ready to head to the dorm, and meet with Pharos."
Nyx frowned. "One year of this, hopefully it'll be over soon."
With that she stood up before moving her hair behind her ear. "Well, are we going or not?"
Minato stood up just as the train door opened as they excited out while waiting.
Tick... tick... tick... tok!
A blue clocked transformed green, and broke apart.
Suddenly around them the sky turned green, and the moon nearly full appeared green too with people transforming into coffins, and the water turns red as they looked around.
"The Dark Hour..." Minato haven't missed feeling the effects of the Dark Hour, and looked around feeling some nostalgia from when he first experienced it back then.
Nyx took a slow breath feeling the familiar sensation only to pause. "Where is this dorm?"
"Follow me." Minato guide her over to where the Gekkoukan Dorm is.
Eventually after a while they arrived at the dorm which has no lights on standing in front of it. As the two of them walked in they froze sensing a familiar presence as they turned to the front desk where Pharos was waiting for them.
"You two are late... not. Your actually 10 minutes earlier." Pharos greeted them both with a smile. "But before we talk more, Minato... please sign your name here at the contract. You know what this is about already."
Minato stared at the contract before turning to Pharos, "Before then there is something I had been meaning to ask about it."
"What is it?" Pharos inquired curiously.
"Do you know anything about Igor, and the Velvet Room?" Minato asked him the question that had been plaguing his mind for a while. "When I signed this contract the first time, I seen it again in the Velvet Room signed with Igor telling me about the terms. Do you know about him?"
Pharos stared before chuckling, "Well that explains a bunch..." He then smiled to him, "Well you can say... we have some sort of partnership together."
Minato stared before nodding walking, and signed over his name, and hand it to Pharos who takes it smiling, "Well... we have time before the Dark Hour ends. We can only chat a bit more before your teammate comes in."
Minato smiled. "That sounds good."
"Okay now that we can talk again, what's gonna happen now?"
Pharos closed his eyes at Nyx' question. "Well now that things are already changing, I believe things will be interesting going forward. Mother now that most of your power is gone it means you need to start growing, and become stronger for the future. You also have the power to use Personas."
"She does, but how?" Minato questioned in shock.
"It must have been another wonderful effect of your Great Seal." Nyx frowned.
"And when you think about it maybe these circumstances are good for you mother."
Nyx widen her eyes at what Pharos said to her. "What!?"
"It'll allow you to view close hand to humanity's wishes, and see if they truly wish for the Fall. Maybe even using the power they use to fight the Shadows will also allow you to see there vision." Pharos explained to her.
Nyx looked down hearing that deep in thought. Pharos then turned to Minato, "It also means that bonding with her also becomes important. Try to do so."
Minato nodded before asking, "By the way Pharos? Do you think you can show yourself more? You were able to appear during daytime after the night we defeated the Hanged Man, so maybe you can appear more?"
Pharos smiled hearing that. "I thought you would never ask. Now that my memory is restored, I'm able to appear wherever you are whenever you want. Even into the Velvet Room where Igor resides in. Mother is able to join you in too, even though she doesn't hold the power of the Wild Card like you do, she is able to see the Velvet Room's presence."
"Hmm..." Minato gives some thought about that.
"Well if there are no questions, I should leave." Pharos said to them.
"Hang on there is something else." Pharos turned to Minato curiously before he then asked, "Well... you as a human child. Is there any reason why you went to that?"
Pharos blinked before looking over himself before then admitting, "Well... it's probably because along with me being in your psyche I was reconstructed by the Kirijo Group 10 years prior... I am basically a child in human years like that."
Nyx frowned. "I should be more than able to handle his power."
With those words she suddenly took the contract only to pause before signing it.
"Oh dear mother. Well this will be interesting now that you signed it too. It also means you will take full responsibility for your actions. Keep that in mind." Pharos smiled over to Nyx seeing this.
"I haven't signed anything yet." Nyx told him before closing her eyes as she signed a name, Naomi Yoru.
"Well now your destinies are intertwined. I wish you both luck." Pharos smiled to them both.
"Of course... Thanatos."
Minato blinked looking at Nyx, "Thanatos? Like my Persona?"
"Thanatos is his true name. I granted Death to Humanity, and he's my son. He is also the God of Death in your studies of Greece so his real name is Thanatos." Nyx or Naomi explained over to him.
"Hmm... Well now that I think about it, his true form when he showed me it from Ryoji is Thanatos." Minato voiced recalling that time. "So it's kinda fitting."
He then turned over to Pharos, "But... I'll still refer to you as Pharos, okay?"
Pharos only smiled nodding, "Yes of course. Mother is free to address me with my real name." He looked over to Naomi, and walked over softly hugging her, "I wish you the best of luck mother."
She closed her eyes as she gently embraced him before Pharos slowly faded.
"Who's there?"
Looking over they noticed Yukari who looks on the defensive before she then pulled out her Evoker while Minato stands defensive only for a voice to break out, "Takeba wait!"
They looked over seeing Mitsuru is there before suddenly the Dark Hour's effect faded away restoring everything back to normal while Yukari blinked smiling. Mitsuru walked over to the two, "I didn't think you two would arrive so late. My name is Mitsuru Kirijo. I'm one of the students who live in this dorm."
"...Who're they?" Yukari asked Mitsuru curiously.
"They're transfer students. It was a last minute decision to assign them here." Mitsuru answered. "They'll eventually be moved into the regular dorms."
"... is it ok for them to be here?" Yukari asked uncertainly.
"Well we're still alive."
Mitsuru, and Yukari looked alarmed from Nyx's comment which Minato quickly said, "Sorry she likes to be sarcastic." He then smiled, "I'm Minato Arisato, and this is Naomi Yoru, my childhood friend."
Mitsuru stared before nodding, "This is Yukari Takeba. She'll be a junior this spring, just like you two."
"... Hey." Yukari mentioned awkwardly.
"Were you going to shoot us?" Nyx questioned.
"H-Huh?" Yukari looked startled before explaining, "Um, well..."
"You know how it is these days... It's for self-defense." Mitsuru said to them taking over for Yukari before smiling, "It's not a real gun, of course." She then suggested to the two, "It's getting late, so you two should get some rest." She then told Minato, "Your room is on the second floor, at the end of the hallway. Your things should already be there." She then turned to Nyx. "Your own room is at the end of the hallway on the third floor. I'll take you there while Yukari takes your friend to his room."
The two of them nodded at that as they went to their rooms.
With Yukari and Minato...
"This is it..." Yukari mentioned showing Minato to his room. "Pretty easy to remember, huh? ...Since it's right at the end of the hall."
She then paused.
"Oh yeah, make sure you don't lose your key, or you'll never hear the end of it..."
Minato nodded before then remembering his last question which is asking if Pharos is in but since he already knows about he said something different. "I'm sorry."
"Huh, what are you talking about?" Yukari asked him.
"Sorry about Naomi. She likes to say some stuff sometimes." Minato explained to her, "In fact I don't think she was happy about the move, you know how it is living some things you like behind. It'll take her a while to get used too."
"That's understandable." Yukari mentioned. "Well, goodnight."
Minato nodded before walking to the door before stopping, and turned to Yukari's walking form, "Oh Yukari?"
"Yeah?" she asked having started to walk back to the stairs.
Minato smiled to her, "Let's have a good year together."
"Yeah, that sounds good." she nodded.
Minato walked in looking around, "I wonder if Nyx is alright."
Meanwhile upstairs...
Mitsuru had led Nyx to her room.
"So this is where I'll be staying for the next year?" Nyx inquired.
"Of course. Here is your room key." Mitsuru handed her which Nyx reaches to take but Mitsuru pulled it back saying with a stern expression, "Do NOT lose it okay?" She gives the key to Nyx before asking, "So... any questions?"
"Are the four of us the only ones living here then?" Nyx inquired.
Mitsuru shook her head no, "No it's not just us. There's also another boy in the dorm, Akihiko Sanada. He'll be a senior this spring like me. He's probably asleep right now, he had a busy day."
Nyx nodded at that before walking into her dorm room. She looked around seeing a small room with a bed, and a desk, and a sink. A bit cozy. Nyx sighed before taking a small book from her bag and sitting at her desk to read.
The next morning...
Nyx was already awake checking herself at the mirror before her door was knocked before she hears Mitsuru's voice, "Hello? Are you awake?"
She opened the door as Mitsuru saw Nyx looked absolutely horrible and was frowning. "Yes, unfortunately."
Mitsuru concerned for her asked, "Didn't had any pleasant dreams?"
"I'm... better at night." Nyx explained after a moment. "Mornings have never been great for me."
Mitsuru nodded, "Night time is often regarded as the time your free." She then told Nyx, "Well we should get going to school. Are you ready to go?"
"As ready as I'll ever be." she answered.
Mitsuru nodded as they left with Minato, and Yukari together hopping on a train. While riding Yukari smiled telling Minato, and Nyx, "There it is! Do you two see it?"
They looked as Minato smiled softly.
"It's... smaller than I expected." Nyx mentioned exhaustedly.
"Smaller?" Yukari asked her confused.
Minato shrugged, "We seen pretty big buildings."
"Oh cause you two went to different spots together." Yukari gets nodding before smiling, "Well get ready. We're heading to Gekkoukan High!"
They soon arrived at the school entering in which Mitsuru turned over to the two, "You two will be alright by yourselves? You two should head to the Facility Office to figure out who's homeroom your heading in. It's at the hallway to your left."
"And that concludes the tour." Yukari smiled them before asking, "Any questions?"
"No, and thanks." Minato smiled.
They nodded before Yukari said to the two, "By the way... Don't tell anyone what you saw last night okay?" She then waved with a smile. "...See ya later!" She, and Mitsuru walked off at that.
Minato now a moment alone turned to Nyx, "Alright Nyx, before we head to the Facility there are things you better know here."
She turned to him in annoyance. "What now?"
"For one part don't go saying your a Goddess everyone will think your crazy. Next try to tolerate what anyone will do no matter how small." Minato voiced, and then adding, "And lastly try to pretend your a human like us. We don't want you standing out."
"In other words don't act like a complete idiot. I think I can handle that." she frowned.
"Words can hurt you know." Minato sighed to her hearing that. He then shrugged, "Well I think you'll be a good student here. And try to make some friends here at school."
She just rolled her eyes as they walked to the faculty office.
Walking in they looked around before a woman teacher sees them, and walked over, "Oh, are you two the new students?" They nodded before she looked over a paper. "Minato Arisato, and Namoi Yoru... Both 11th Grade, correct?" They nodded as she read about Minato's file, "Wow, you've lived in a lot of different places... Let's see... In 1999... that was what, ten years ago? Your parents-" She gasped widening her eyes before bowing to Minato. "I'm sorry... I've been so busy, I didn't have time to read this beforehand."
Minato shrugged to her, "It's no trouble. Things are rough, but I'm managing."
The teacher then turned to Nyx before readying a paper, "Huh, you also lived in different places? 1 week ago, your parents send you here upon asking for permission to come join a different high school." She then looked at her, "Well Gekkoukan is nothing like your home but I hope you like it here."
"I think it's going to be... an interesting year." Nyx admitted.
"Yeah definitely." the teacher nodded before introducing herself, "I'm Ms. Toriumi. I teach Composition. Welcome to our school."
"Nice to meet you." Minato nodded with a smile.
"Wow, such enthusiasm!" Ms. Toriumi said with a smiled before then asking, "Have you two seen the classroom assignments? You're both in 2-F; that's my class. But first, we need to go the auditorium. The Welcoming Ceremony will be starting soon. Follow me."
Minato felt Nyx glaring at him as they followed her.
"I'm not the one that decided the Ceremony. It's a mandatory thing we do here." Minato stated to her.
"Wonderful." Nyx frowned.
