Unalaq and Korra were fighting outside Republic city in there giant spirit forms and he was starting to struggle against Korra
"No! I refuse to lose! Not this time!" Vatus voice yelled as Unalaq started to glow brightly as a rip in space appeared
"What are you planning?" Korra asked seeing this
Vatus voice started laughing as he left Unalaq and entered the rip in space "you will soon be nothing but a memory, soon avatar korra won't exist" he said as the rip closed as Unalaq entered
Suddenly the world around Korra vanished as if it never existed
(With Vatu)
Vatu was in In the void outside time and was looking at highlights of the past though rips in time
"You can't do this messing with time is forbidden!" a female voice said from inside Vatu
"You can't stop me Rava, I have come too far to stop now!" Vatu said as he found the point in time he was looking for
He touched the rip that showed a image of avatar Aang in the iceberg and a bright purple light engulfed the image when the light died down it looked the same
"What did you do?" Ravas voice asked as she was sure Vatu actually did something despite the appearance to the contrary
Vatu laughed as the images up the upcoming future started to change at a rapid rate "I made it so avatar Aang died in the iceberg now there will be no korra to stop me during the convergence" he said as he laughed
"You fool! Do you have any idea what will happen now?!" Ravas voice yelled out as she freed herself from within Vatu
"What do you mean?" Vatu aske as he looked at Rava
Rava tapped a image and made a image of a nation appear on a map of the four nations
"What did you do?!" Vatu demanded
"I added something to the timeline you just created so there is still balance you fool" Rava said as a image of a boy with blonde hair blue eyes and whisker marks appeared in a rip
"You would dare interfere with other dimensions by combining ours with another?!" Vatu yelled in rage as this was unexpected from Rava
"You left me no choice" Rava said sounding exhausted from all the energy it took to do this "because of you avatar aang died in the iceberg so now there's a avatar from the water tribe during the 100 year war" she said
"So what?" Vatu asked not caring in the slightest
"So this avatar will need someone to help guide them so I changed history so there was a hidden fifth nation sealed away by wan after he defeated you" Rava said as they both started to fade away and a image of the fight between wan and Vaatu appeared in a rip only this time another was there helping wan fight Vatu
"Who is that?" Vatu asked as his body slowly started to vanish
"He's called the sage of the six paths and in this new timeline he found a way for non benders to fight but him and wan decided to seal his nation away from the other 4 since there was to much chaos" Rava said
"So this boy is from this nation and will help this new avatar?" Vatu asked as he was almost gone as his being caught up with the new timeline
Rava nodded as she started to glow "yes I will use the last of my power to send him outside his nation with a message hopefully he can help this new avatar" she said as she touched a image of the blonde boy fighting a man with orange hair
"Clever I didn't expect you to go this far to stop me, at least this new timeline will be interesting" Vatu said as he completely vanished along with Rava showing the new timeline was now solidified
"Good luck Naruto" Rava said as she vanished hoping roku could get the message to Naruto

Naruto was in a cave with the real pain and pain had just revived everyone in konoha for him and a portal appeared in the room
"What's that?" Naruto asked pain as he thought this was a trick if his
Pains eyes widened "I have heard a prophecy about this it's a summoning by the spirit world" he said as he coughed
"Huh?" Naruto asked
"The world outside the ninja nations needs help from the one with the rinnegan pain said sounding exhausted
"The world outside?" Naruto asked as he had never thought about if there was more outside the ninja nations
"Indeed our nation was sealed away from the rest of the world millennia ago by the avatar and the sage of six paths pain said
"And this portal means the outside world needs your help?" Naruto asked
"Yes but I will soon be dead, I have a favor to ask of you Naruto" Pain said
"What is it?" Naruto asked
"Take my eyes and go help the outside world, the rinnegan will help you greatly" Nagato said
"Okay, anything else you would ask of me" Naruto asked as he approached pain
"Yes please try to find a real home outside the ninja nations Pain said as he tapped Naruto on the forehead and transferred The rinnegan to him
Naruto hesitated as he didn't think of that option but he knew he would love a chance to have a life without being hated for having the 9 tailed fox on him he then smiled and said "sure" he said not even needing a moment to consider helping
Pain nodded as he then slumped over as he died
Naruto looked at Pain and closed his eyes in prayer for him. He then turned to the portal and walked threw it to see this outside world
(Spirit world)
Naruto was in a void of white and he was just floating in the void "where am I?" He asked
"You are in the void between the barrier and the outside world" a old man in red robes said
"Who are you?" Naruto asked
"I am avatar Roku and I'm here to give you some key information before you arrive in the outside world" he said
"What's an Avatar?" Naruto asked tilting his head in confusion
Roku then explained what the avatar is to Naruto
"So you want me to find this avatar and help them stop this 100 year war?" Naruto asked
"Indeed the new avatar is from the water tribe so you will need to head for ether the South or North Pole to find them" Roku said
"Great that's gonna be cold" Naruto said as he knew the farther north you went the colder it get
"Before you go two people have something for you " Roku said as a man with blonde hair and a woman with long red hair appeared
"Dad? Who is this?" Naruto asked recognizing his father
"How does he know about you but not me?" The woman yelled in rage
"Geez your loud dattebayo" Naruto said rubbing his ear
"Awww he got my virbal quirk that's so cute!" The woman said as she hugged Naruto fawning over him
"Got yours? You're my..." Naruto said in realization
"Yes I am your mother, I am Kushina Uzumaki" the woman said
"There was a Uzumaki that lived in the village before? Gramps told me you two were nobodies and now I find out there was a Uzumaki in the village and my dad was the same person who sealed the fox in me" Naruto said
"That old man did what?!" Kushina yelled her hair waving behind her with her rage
"Everytime I asked about you two he'd always wave it off and say it wouldn't bring you back"
"I know I told Hiruzen not to tell you about us until you were old enough but he could've at least told you that we cared about you" Minato said
"Oh he said that I think, all he told me was that you cared about me and… that's it" Naruto said
"Typical old man the bare minimum of effort" Kushina said as she was pissed
"Nobody ever told me about you, I always saw sensei and the others at some grave but when I asked about it, they told me to forget about it" Naruto said to them
"Sensei?"Kushina asked
"Kakashi, Kurenai and the others, they'd go to your grave that had just your first name, but they wouldn't ever tell me more" Naruto said
"I swear I'm kicking his ass when they die" Kushina yelled
"Do get to the point of this" Roku said to them needing to speed things along
"Ok ok old man" Kushina said as she pulled out a scroll "this is for you" she said with a smile
"What's it for?" Naruto asked taking the scroll from her
"It has all the information on seals and techniques of our clan it also has my sword you know if you want it" Kushina said not sure if Naruto would want her sword
Naruto smiled hearing this "Thanks mom I will definitely use this" He said
"It also has the instructions on how to use my hirashin" Minato said with a smile as he was happy to pass this technique onto his son
"I also added money camping gear hunting and fishing equipment for your journey in this new world" Kushina said as she would be damned if her child didn't have the supplies he needed
"Anything else?" Naruto asked as he started to fade into this new world
"Yea don't let that fox get to ya I'm sure you can find common ground with him"" Kushina said with a smile
"Trust me Naruto the way to win him over is understanding" Minato said as if he was speaking from experience
Naruto nodded as he faded away fully

Naruto fell out of a the portal onto the dirt "Ow, my butt" he said as he crashed on his ass
"Ow" Naruto groaned as he got up of the ground
"Quit your whining" the fox said
"Whatever whiskers and since when do you say anything? " Naruto said curiously as the fox usually preferred to ignore him
"Figured you could use someone to talk to considering you're not in your world anymore, and are probably stuck here" the fox said
"It's the same world the ninja nations are just closed off from the outside world" Naruto said
"Trust me kid when you learn more about this place you'll call it a different world too" the fox said
"You've been here before?" Naruto asked curiously
"For a long time yes, hiding away from the ninja world that wanted to make us into weapons before someone used a ancient seal to bring us back, then the rest is history" The fox said
"The avatar didn't help you? Naruto asked
"Can't remember if they did or didn't, probably did try I recall it was a woman with a fan" The fox said
"So do you have a name?" Naruto asked
"..." silence was his answer
"I'll guess it, Carl?" Naruto said
"... Do I freaking look like a Carl to you" The fox said feeling heavily insulted
"Fluffy?" Naruto asked with a smirk
"Call me that and I'll eat you" the fox said
"Uh… Kurama?" Naruto asked
"... yes" the fox said actually surprised he guessed right
"Really I was just guessing that from that girl that I met from the Kurama clan" Naruto said

"So which way do we go from here?" Naruto asked
"No clue kid maybe you should use sage mode to try and find civilization" Kurama said
"Yeah, how much you wanna bet they'll attack before talking to me" Naruto said
"Well it is a go to and this world is in war" Kurama said
"Is there anyplace not in the middle of a war, geez" Naruto said as he went into sage mode to get a feel for the area
"Conflict is everywhere kid" Kurama said as there was nothing truer
Naruto nodded as that was true he then felt what felt like life nearby
Naruto took a step before face planting as something was tugging on his pants leg
When he looked it looked to be a small red reptile with wings the size of a puppy
"Hey, I'm currently in use of these pants" Naruto said as he pulled the creature off, who looked at him panting like a dog
The creature yipped at Naruto and ran around him
"It likes you" Kurama said stating the obvious as the unique creature seemed to imprint onto Naruto
"Everything likes me" Naruto said as sage mode attracted all animals
Naruto continued to walk before looking back as the creature followed him
"You wanna come with me?" Naruto asked the creature with a smile
"I think it's gonna do that whether you say yes or no" Kurama said as the dragon gained a large interest in him
The creature smiled at Naruto and climbed up his back to his shoulder
"Well alright then" Naruto said getting comfortable with the new sensation of the creature on him
"It looks like a freshly hatched dragon haven't seen one in years" Kurama said as it's size was small as dragons aged quickly
"Dragon? Those exist? Naruto asked surprised
"Yes, here, I think it's been a long time and things have changed" Kurama said
"So what do you mean freshly hatched?" Naruto asked
"Seeing as it won't leave you alone, it probably thinks you're its father" Kurama said chuckling
"You mean this thing's imprinted on me?!" Naruto said
The dragon whispered thinking Naruto was mad
"Sorry didn't mean to shout" Naruto said as the dragon cheered up
"You gotta use an inside voice around babies kid" Kurama said
"How do you know anything about kids?" Naruto asked
"I was one once you know" Kurama said "That and back in the spirit world kids were just attracted to me to play with" he said
"Spirit world?" Naruto asked
"I'll explain later kid your coming up on a city" Kurama said
"Looks abandoned to me Naruto said as he approached a city but it looked like it was more like ruins then anything
"It may look like that but usually those are where people live in hiding also you can think at me and I will hear you" Kurama said
'I feel like we are being watched' Naruto thought as he looked around as he entered the city
Suddenly people jumped off the roofs and surrounded him pointing spears at him
"Told you" Kurama said not surprised at all
'Smartass' Naruto thought at Kurama
The dragon cooed as it looked at the people
"He has the great dragon" a man said
The dragon burped at them making a blue flame also looking rather lazy and tired seeing the people
"This dragon is yours?" Naruto asked
"We thought something happened to it, after it hatched" a woman said
"So what's this about a great dragon?" Naruto asked aiming that question to the people and the dragon
"For centuries we have watched over dragons in honor of the two dragons that helped teach us fire bending" a man said
"I heard two does that mean there's another one around here?" Naruto asked
"No" a man said
"What's so special about this little guy? Naruto asked
"Girl actually" a man said
"She's supposed to be the partner of the sage of six paths when he returns to the four nations"
"And she thinks that's me?" Naruto asked
"For centuries we have looked at that egg, praying for the sages return as we need him now just like we need the avatar" a man said
"Well the sage made me his heir before he died" Naruto said to them plainly
"Prove it" a man that was obviously the chief said as the rest of his men pointed there spears at him
Naruto channeled chakra into his eyes hoping the rinnegan would activate before he gets speared to death
Suddenly the men surrounding him gasped as they all then bowed to Naruto
"I missed this" Kurama said as Naruto's eyes were now the rinnegan
"So I have to ask, what's fire bending?" Naruto asked curiously
The chief stepped forward "we shall answer all your questions but for now we shall escort you to our home and we shall have a feast to celebrate the return of the sage of six paths yo the four nations"
"Is this where you lives with the sage"Naruto asked Kurama in his mind
"no but he visited here often" Kurama said
(Later that night)
Naruto chuckled as the dragon stuck her head out of a pile of food that the villagers gave them as they celebrated
They told him about the outside world and how the fire nation was trying to take over the four nations
"So all the air nomads are gone?" Naruto asked finding that sad as the Uzumaki suffered the same fate
"Actually there are some hidden nomad camps of airbenders that we keep in contact with via coded message but they are just as secretive as us" the chief said as he handed Naruto a tile
"What's this?" Naruto asked as he looked at the tile which had a white lotus on it
"It's so if you find these nomads show them that and they will know your a friend" the chief said
Naruto nodded as he put away the tile "so can I have a boat so I can leave tomorrow?" He asked
"There is no need your dragon can change forms so she can fly you" the chief said
"Change forms?" Naruto asked
The dragon ran over and suddenly fire erupted from it covering it as it grew large to where it was as big as a building
"Woah" Naruto said impressed as the dragon looked intimidating
"Eh seen bigger dragons" Kurama said
"They grow bigger than that?!" Naruto thought both impressed and amazed
"Oh yeah" Kurama said
The now bigger dragon then looked at Naruto and sniffed him before licking him
"This better not ruin my clothes" Naruto said covered in dragon slobber
"It washes out with water" the chief said
"Can I have some supplies and a map of the world for my journey?" Naruto asked
"Of course" The chief said giving him some food, water and said map
"Which pole are you heading for first?" Kurama asked as roku only said that the new avatar was from the water tribe not which one
Naruto thought about it and then pulled out a gold count from the money his mom gave him and flipped it when he caught it he saw it had the Uzumaki clan symbol on it
"Alright girl, to the South Pole" Naruto said to her as he climbed onto her saddle "Suppose I gotta give you a name" he said rubbing her head affectionately
"Yes, dragons don't like being seen as simple creatures" the chief said
"Alright… what about Pyra, you like that girl?" Naruto asked the dragon
The newly named Pyra's answer was to turn and lick Naruto again and let out a breath of fire and smile
Naruto laughed at this "ok pyra it is let's go" he said pointing the way for her to fly
Pyra flapped her wings instantly taking to the sky making Naruto almost yelp as he held onto her reins
"No fair I wasn't ready" Naruto said as he could tell she was smiling as she looked forward
Pyra made a noise that sounded like a mix between a roar and a laugh
"Yeah, yeah laugh it up" Naruto said "you think you can make it to the South Pole quickly?
Pyra smirked as she flapped her wings extra hard making Naruto shout as his body flailed back before he leaned back holding on again
"I'm gonna have to get used to this" Naruto said as he smiled and let out a sigh
(3 Hours later)
"Wow you are fast" Naruto said as they approached the icy glaciers of the South Pole as the sun rose "Brr remind me to buy warmer clothes" he said shivering
Pyra looked at the water and pointed at it with her head
"What? You want to go fishing?" Naruto asked
Pyra panted nodding excitedly
"Alright, let's go get yourself something to eat" Naruto said
Pyra flew towards the shore excited to go fishing with her parent
They landed and as soon as Naruto got off Pyra shrunk back to normal and flopped on the ground groaning
"Good job girl" Naruto said as he rubbed her belly
Pyra cooed at this and started kicking her leg as she was scratched
'Are all dragons like dogs?' Naruto thought to Kurama
"Eh depends on the dragon some are kinda high class and some act like this"
Kurama said
"Well let's go fishing" Naruto said as he unsealed a fishing pole and bait from his mother's scroll thankful that she thought ahead for him
Pyra got up excitedly and ran to the river nearby and started looking into the water trying to find a fish she then started pawing at the water
Naruto laughed at this as he approached hold on we will catch some fish you just need patience he said as he sat down in the snow and set up his fishing pole with bait quickly catching some fish but got angry as after he pulled them Pyra ate them giving the dragon a dirty look he kept them close giving her stern looks as she tried to 'sneak' up on him and steal some more
"Be patient you mischief making lizard" Naruto said as he pulled out a few more fish and soon he had a decent pile of fish
"Ok now we need a fire" Naruto said as he looked around for something to burn for a campfire
Pyra made a yipping noise and ignited her body so she was like a living camp fire
"You expect me to cook the fish on you ms impatient?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow
Pyra kept her body ignited as if saying she wasn't gonna stop until he cooked the fish
"Oh brother" Naruto said rolling his eyes as he put the fish over her "It's weird how we're in the South Pole and there's rivers, I figured it was all ocean" he said
"Salt water fish kid" Kurama said as some fish did live in salt water
"Yeah whatever I know fish live in the ocean, I'm talking about how there's rivers" Naruto said
"You do realize Antarctica is a frozen land surrounded by water right?" Kurama asked him wondering how deep his stupidity went
"Yeah and the Arctic is frozen water surrounded by land I know" Naruto said
Soon enough the fish we're all cooked and ready to be ate
"Ok good job dig in" Naruto said as he watched her eat her fish in glee
Soon they were full from a good meal
"Ok let's find this water tribe" Naruto said as he activated his sage senses "ah ok there's a group of auras nearby" he said looking in a direction
Pyra just began walking off
"Where do you think you're going?" Naruto asked curiously at his dragon friend
Pyra pointed with her body in a direction when Naruto looked he saw smoke coming up from that direction
"Okay...must be a village" Naruto said as he started walking towards that direction
Pyra walked beside him before jumping up and sitting on his head
"Well you did fly me here so go ahead and rest girl" Naruto said as he walked
Soon they reached the top of a hill and saw a small village
"Note to self, the South Pole is cold as shit" Naruto said as he was glad his chakra was able to keep him warm
Pyra looked at Naruto and made a small flame trying to warm him up
"Thanks girl but I'm fine for now" Naruto said as he started walking down the hill towards the village
Soon he approached the entrance to the village and the villagers stopped what they were doing and looked at Naruto in surprise
"Uh… hi?" Naruto said waving his hand
"Everyone here is ether old a woman or a brat" Kurama said not seeing anyone he'd see interesting
Pyra mimicked him waving with one of her paws
"Who are you?" A old woman said approaching Naruto
"Cold, sorta. I'm Naruto, this is Pyra" Naruto said pointing to himself then to the dragon
"Call me Gran Gran, I am surprised your still alive with the clothes your using young man" the old woman said
"I'm a survivor, it'll take more than cold to do me in" Naruto said
"Why are you here?" Gran Gran asked him her tone still neutral
"I was sent on a journey to find the new avatar, I was told it was a water bender" Naruto said as the villagers started whispering
"I heard the last avatar was supposed to be a airbender" Gran Gran said
"Well apparently he died in a iceberg years ago, but a new one has been born" Naruto said
"Who sent you on this journey, the fire nation?" Gran Gran asked
"Avatar Roku sent me" Naruto said as that was the truth and he knew that no one would believe him but it was still funny
"A spirit asked you to go on this journey?" Gran Gran asked as she looked at Naruto trying to get a read on if he was being truthful
"Yes, all he told was that it was a water bender and nothing more, he told me that both poles were homes to water benders and I chose to start here" Naruto said
"Well we only have two water benders in our tribe my granddaughters" Gran gran said to him
"Why did I have a hunch it'd be a girl" Naruto muttered to himself
"Probably your mom playing matchmaker" Kurama said chuckling as that was one of the few interesting quirks he found amusement in
"Are either of your granddaughters very talented?" Naruto asked curiously as he had a hunch that the avatar would be a natural at bending
Gran gran nodded as he led him onto the village
Naruto was so busy talking he didn't notice Pyra had entered a igloo the same igloo Gran Gran was leading him to
"Katara, Korra, we have a guest" Gran Gran said loudly as they entered the igloo
When they got inside Naruto saw two young women around his age making food while one was petting Pyra
"Who is this Gran Gran?" The girl that was making food asked
"Yea why's he not using warmer clothes?" The other girl that was petting Pyra asked in worry
"His name is Naruto He says he's a survivor Katara" Gran Gran said with a shake of her head as Katara always worried about others
"That and apparently Chakra can be used to keep one warm" Naruto said
"Chak-what?" the other girl said
"Chakra, and apparently people used it long ago, today's been full of surprises" Naruto said
Can you teach it?" The other girl asked excitedly
"I guess" Naruto said with a shrug
"Benders can't use chakra kid only non benders can" Kurama said
'Then what does Chakra do to benders then?' Naruto mentally asked
"Makes there bending stronger, slightly like a regular fire bender's flames would increase, that's pretty much it, Chi and Chakra may be the same thing but here it doesn't do much for the benders" Kurama said
"Leave him be Korra, let him rest" Gran Gran said as this granddaughter was very high strung
"So which of them is the older one?" Naruto asked as that would most likely be the avatar
"Neither" Gran Gran said as she took a bowl of food from Korra
"So what, they're twins?" Naruto asked curiously
"Yup me and my sis are the only water benders in the southern world water tribe" Katara said sadly
'So which one is the avatar?' Naruto thought as either of them could be who he was looking for
"Well it is one of them but they both have similar auras must be because they are twins" Kurama said
'Well I just hope we don't have two avatars as I can only deal with so much' Naruto said
"Ha! That's impossible" Kurama said as there could only be one avatar
'How?' Naruto asked
"There can only be one, when that one dies another takes his or her place by reincarnation you can't reincarnate into two people" Kurama said then remembering he was split in two by Naruto's father so he may not have been the right person to say anything
'I have a feeling that word will tie to me somehow down the road' Naruto thought as reincarnation seemed like it was a somewhat common thing
"You have weird hair." Korra said looking at Naruto's blonde hair
"Korra! Be polite" Katara said
"What I've never seen yellow hair before" Korra said
"Oh yeah, this part of the world doesn't really have blondes" Kurama said
"I'm from a part of the world where my hair color is common" Naruto said
"You look like you should have red hair" Korra said
"Red Hair is normal for my clan, but I got my dad's hair" Naruto said to them
"Well I like his hair makes him unique" Katara said trying to be nice as it was unique to see someone who wasn't a brunette
"Thanks, beautiful." Naruto said "Why did I say that?" he asked himself
"Well at least your not hitting on that howler monkey again" Kurama said
'Yeah, should've hit on Hinata instead.' Naruto thought as he didn't know why he liked her at all
"She'd faint as soon as you do" Kurama said chuckling
Katara blushed lightly at Naruto's compliment as she had no experience with this as there were no men in the village since her dad and brother left with the other man to help with the war
"Hey Naga, come and meet this cute little reptile" Korra called outside as a giant white dog-bear like creature peered it's head inside
"Whoa, dogs are huge here" Naruto said as the dog was easily twice the size of Akamaru
"Naga? She's just a Polar Bear dog" Korra said
"Yeah well back home I'm pretty sure we don't have the animals that are around here back home" Naruto said
"Your home sounds boring." Korra said
"Well you're not wrong as sometimes it did get boring" Naruto said
Naga looked at Naruto and started to sniff him curiously
"She's not about to bite me is she?"Naruto asked
"Naga, no, she's just curious besides she wouldn't hurt a fly" Korra said
"A fish on the other hand" Katara said as she saw the polar bear dog tear it apart
The trio looked at Pyra and Naga were having a tug of war over a fish
"Naga you share that with our guest" Katara said
Naga let go causing the dragon to fall back and then bit the fish in half and tossed over the remaining half and Pyra looked at her and then coughed up her half sliding it to Naga
This made Naruto Katara and Korra smile as they were glad they were getting along but were a little disgusted when Naga ate the fish Pyra gagged up to her
"So what brings you here to the South Pole?" Katara asked with a smile
"He's here to find the avatar apparently years ago the airbender that was the last avatar died in a iceberg and now the avatar is a waterbender" Gran Gran said explaining the situation to the twin girls
Korra grinned at this "so you think me or my sis could be the new avatar?" She asked
"Well Roku told me it was a water bender, but I really don't… know?" Naruto said as he looked outside and saw the snow had turned black "Is black snow normal here?" he asked
'Ash' Kurama said as when smoke traveled high enough it contaminated the water in clouds making snow and rain
"Fire nation" Korra growled as Naga growled too as they all went outside
"So what do these guys use to make ash?" Naruto asked them curiously
"It's one of their ships" Katara said said to them
A large metal ship stopped in front of their village
Pyra growled at the ship as a man with a burn on the side of his face walked down wearing fire nation armor
"Who's scar face?" Naruto asked
"Prince Zuko, they say he searches the world for the Avatar to restore his honor with his father" Katara said as the fire nation came here thinking the avatar might on some chance be born here as it was the only water tribe they could search since they couldn't conquer the north
"Who burned him?" Naruto asked before seeing an old man on the ship "And who's that his grandpa?" he asked
"His own father and that's General Iroh, his uncle, I hear he earned the title Dragon of the West" Korra said
"Please do not start trouble, I will handle them" Gran Gran said as she approached
"Where is the Avatar?" Zuko asked
"Dead" Gran Gran said simply as the fire nation always kept coming here
"Then explain the pillar of light that happened over this village last night" Zuko said rage on his face
"A trick of the lights" Gran Gran said
"It's called an aurora" Korra said a scowl on her face
"Enough of this! Tell me now or this village burns!" Zuko yelled as he made a flame in his hands scaring the villagers
"Hey buddy, how's about chilling out, I mean you are in the south pole perfect place to do it" Naruto said as he approached
Iroh chuckled slightly as Zuko scowled at him
"Who are you?" Zuko asked
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki the new sage of six paths" Naruto said
"Oh please the sage is just a bedtime story to put children to bed" Zuko said
Naruto activated his rinnegan and glared at Zuko making his men back up as they recognized those eyes from the stories of the sage
"The Rinnegan" Iroh said in surprise as he was very spiritually aware
"Neat trick, if you truly are the new Sage, then prove it, show us your power" Zuko said
Naruto Held out his hand and made a rasengan
"Airbender" Zuko growled as he got ready to attack
"No nephew it's chakra" Iroh said a worried look on his face
"So you know the old ways?" Naruto asked having respect for the older man and his knowledge
"Indeed older members of the royal family know of the sealed off nation" Iroh said
"Then you must know this village is under my protection, leave or you will face the consequences" Naruto said
"Prince Zuko if you bring the sage to your father he may accept you again" a soldier said to the prince
Zuko eyes widened in realization as that was a good point "if you come with me quietly then I promise on my honor to leave this village alone" he said to Naruto truthfully
"Done, just leave them alone" Naruto said surrendering
"Naruto you don't have to do this" Katara said worried
"Better than seeing them hurt your pretty face, and hers" Naruto said looking at the twins
He then winked at them as he nudged in a direction revealing Pyra was behind them
"You take care of them ok Pyra?" Naruto said giving the dragon a wink
Pyra growled but the nodded in agreement
Naruto nodded as he approached the soldiers who cuffed his hands in irons and led him onto the ship
Katara growled as she couldn't stand for this
Korra watched the ship leave and growled too
"We can't let them take Naruto" Korra said sounding determined
But what can we do?" Katara said as she agreed with her sister
"We get a ship and go after him" Korra said
Pyra yipped at them as flames engulfed her as she grew to full size
"Or we could fly on her" Korra said surprised
(1 hour later)
'Man this is a crappy cell' Naruto thought as the locks were basic at best 'just a little farther' he thought needing to get them to follow him and then he could throw them off his trail
Suddenly the door to his room opened and Zuko came in
"What you need, prince?" Naruto asked flatly as he was gonna make a break for it soon but was curious as to why the prince was coming here
"It is said that the sage of six paths is an ally of the avatar do you know where the avatar is?" Zuko asked
"No" Naruto said
"Then why were you there in that small village, surely it wasn't just to chat" Zuko asked
"Looking for the avatar but sadly you guys caught up with me before I could leave for the North Pole since the avatar isn't in the South" Naruto said
"What drew you there, was it the pillar of light?" Zuko asked
"No, Avatar Roku put me on this journey" Naruto said as he noticed their were some similarities between them
"I suppose the rumors that the sage is capable of talking to spirits is true too?" Zuko asked
"He can do that?" Naruto asked not knowing all the ins and outs yet
Zuko scoffed at this "You do not know your full capabilities do you?" he asked curiously
"Hey I just got here like this morning dude" Naruto said plainly
"Yes from your sealed off nation right?" Zuko asked as his uncle had told him
"Yeah" Naruto said "and before you ask no the barrier is not gone so no new Allies for your tyrant father" he said
"Watch your mouth! My father is a great man!" Zuko yelled
"What great man burns his own son?" Naruto asked sarcastically as personally he saw the man as the worst kinda scum for burning his own child to make a point
"How did you know that?" Zuko asked
"The people in the village told me, apparently a lot of people know about you and how your father banished you" Naruto said
Zuko growled in anger at this but before he could say anything they heard a roar outside on the deck
"DRAGON!" a soldier yelled from yo on deck
"Those two don't listen very well" Naruto muttered as he broke his restraints
"You have a dragon?" Zuko asked slightly intimidated
"Yep" Naruto said before punching him as he turned around, knocking him out
"That guy's like Sasuke" Kurama said
"Nah he's not revenge driven so there's hope for him" Naruto said as Sasuke was bad but Zuko had morals and an understanding of true honor
"No his goal is restoring his honor which is a completely different type of driven" Kurama said
;I can respect this more than sasuke's reasons at least' Naruto thought as he headed to the deck of the ship
He saw a group of soldiers fighting Katara and korra "You two don't listen very well" he said
"Shut up and get on the dragon!" Korra said
What korra didn't notice was a soldier approaching with a knife
"Korra!" Katara yelled as her eyes started to glow brightly
"What the" The soldier said before Katara blasted him with air
"It's her, she's the avatar!" another soldier yelled
"Perfect" Naruto grumbled
"Huh my money was on the tomboy" Kurama said referring to Korra
Katara started blasting the soldiers with massive amounts of water freezing them to the ship
"Wow" Korra said surprised Katara had this in her
While this was happening Zuko finally made it on deck and saw what was happening "the avatar is water tribe?" He asked surprised but before he could do anything Katara attacked him with a giant whip of water and sent him overboard
Once there were no more soldiers Katara closed her eyes and fell to the ground "Ugh, what happened?"
"Okay starting to see that you unconsciously do that" Naruto said
"Last night she sleep walked a hour later, that pillar, she must've gone into that state when she was asleep" Korra said
"Talk later let's get going" Naruto said as he helped Katara up and led her and korra to Pyra
"This isn't over!" Zuko shouted in anger and frustration
"Yeah, yeah" Naruto said as Pyra took off into the air 'that guy may not be Sasuke but that obsessed look in his eyes is the same' he thought to himself
"I can't believe I'm the new avatar" Katara said as she looked at her hands not fully believing that she was capable of doing what she did
"Yeah me either, I had your sister pegged for it" Naruto said "but it is what it is I'm sure given time you will be a fantastic avatar" He said with a encouraging smile
Katara smiled at this as she had some doubts she was up for this
"So what's the plan now?" Korra asked as this was new but exciting territory of her
"Considering how you two are self taught, you and her need a proper water bending teacher, so we head to the North Pole" Naruto said
"Yea now that the fire nation knows that sis is the avatar we need to get her trained so we can end this war" Korra said
"Yeah, Water first then whatever comes next, I'm sorta winging this." Naruto said as he relaxed
"How am I gonna learn air?" Katara asked a frown on her face as the air nomads were extinct
"Don't worry there are still airbenders they are in hidden communities around the four nations" Naruto said thinking back to what the sun warrior tribe told him
"How are we gonna find them?" Korra asked as if they were hidden from the rest of the world during this conflict it must've been very well hidden
"I don't know, maybe we'll just get lucky I guess, for now let's go" Naruto said as he had the devil's luck with certain things or mixed
"How long till we reach it?" Katara asked curiously
"I don't think Pyra has another cross around the world in one go left in her, the trip to the South really took it out of her" Naruto said
"Probably best to slowly make our way there" Katara said with a nod
"Can you start training us soon?" Korra asked a grin on her face
"Training you in what?" Naruto asked looking back at her
"Chakra of course"Korra said
"Look here's the thing, it's not that I don't want to train you but only non benders can get the full effect of the training" Naruto said as he did the best he couldm
"For real?" Korra asked a slight frown on her face
"Yeah the best you get is your elements get stronger" Naruto said "And besides I don't know how good a teacher I would be" he said chuckling as he rubbed the back of his head
"How can you teach us if you barely know how to use your powers as the sage?" Katara asked
"Well I have a scroll from my mother she said it had important information in there" Naruto said
"Like how to teach us?" Korra asked curiously
"Probably, I don't know I haven't looked at it yet" Naruto said to her as he was a little unsure
"Well we are pretty far from the South Pole now and there is some land nearby let's land and make camp then you can take a look at your scroll" Katara said
"Good I'm starving" Korra said with a grin
"Great, got any food?" Naruto asked
"What?!" The twins said
"Ms, eats a lot ate all the fish I got" Naruto said looking at Pyra who just snorted and puffed smoke
"Your mom probably sealed emergency food in your scroll gaki" Kurama said flatly as Kushina was a lot of things but unprepared wasn't and she'd spoilin
'Glad mom was looking out for me' Naruto thought with a smile as Pyra landed in a clearing
"If it's ramen, I think it's the only you're gonna get, this place doesn't have all the same foods you had back home" Kurama said
'Then I'll introduce them to ramen then' Naruto thought
"Good luck with that" Kurama said
(A few hours later)
It was now dusk as the group were just getting done with setting up camp thanks to the supplies Naruto had
"Try not to have another sleepwalk episode sis, we don't want anyone coming to us" Korra said
"Ha, ha" Katara said sarcastically as she petted Pyra who was in her small form
Naruto shook his head at the twins as he was making ramen on a campfire
"Try not to burn it… like the last 5 times" Kurama said as cooking in the wild was not a skill Naruto had
'Sue me I'm not used to camping' Naruto thought as he wasn't used to cooking while roughing it
"Or making ramen from scratch" Kurama said plainly
'Oh shut up' Naruto thought angrily
"Wow that actually smells good" Korra said as she smiled from the delightful odor
"Yeah well cooking isn't my strong suit, I'm used to making things that are kinda premade for me" Naruto said
"Well leave the cooking to us then Gran Gran taught us how" Katara said
"She taught you sis I'm nowhere near as good as you" Korra said as she was more warrior than traditional woman
"You could have mastered it like me if you weren't always working out growing up" Katara said as Korra always loved to fight
"I want to be a warrior like dad and big bro" Korra said with determination in her eyes
"Believe me I know" Katara said rolling her eyes at her sister
"You have a brother?" Naruto asked as he started scooping up bowels of ramen for them finding out more about them
"Yeah but he left with our father and the other men in our tribe since he was of age " Katara said to him as it was a sad day for her and Korra
"He was a bit of an idiot" Korra said with a fond smile
"Yea but he cared about us" Katara said as their brother despite his ego and stupidity did love them
"Yeah well here try something from my home" Naruto said as he handed them each a bowel
"And the only thing he'll ever eat" Kurama said as ramen was basically in Naruto's blood
Pyra yipped at Naruto wanting her food
"I swear I don't know who has the bigger stomach me or you" Naruto said as this dragon was a bottomless pit like him
Pyra ignored Naruto as she started to eat from her bowl happily
"This is fantastic!" Korra said happily as she ate her ramen
Katara nodded in agreement as she never tasted something like this
"Yeah well you're having my favorite food, ramen" Naruto said
"You know you shouldn't just eat this, you'd be stronger or more built with a proper diet" Katara said
"Who are you my mother?" Naruto said
Korra laughed at this "relax she's always like this with people she cares about"
"So you care about me? Babe we just met" Naruto said
Katara blushed getting called babe
Naruto smiled happily glad they at least liked his attempt at cooking "Well eat up we need to decide where to head tomorrow" he said as he ate
"You have a map?" Katara asked curiously
"Yes thankfully" Naruto said as he handed the maps he had to Katara
"Man these are detailed" Korra said liking that they were well marked
"Given to me straight from a group of sun benders" Naruto said to her
"Who?" Korra asked curiously
"They are descended from the first fire benders and they like to stay hidden since they don't like the fire nation" Naruto said
"Guess Fire benders can hate each other" Katara said as she knew there were a few good ones
"I think it's due to the fire nation killing off the dragons, or driving them away" Naruto said
Katara nodded as that made sense she then looked at the maps and saw a Island that caught her interest "Kyoshi island looks like it wouldn't tire out Pyra to fly there" she said
"Wasn't Kyoshi the avatar before Roku?" Korra asked as she finished her ramen
"How do you know that?" Naruto asked
"I read things" Korra said shrugging
"Gran gran told us stories of some of the past avatars" Katara said as their was a history only going so far back as the avatar was ancient
"So Kyoshi Island was named after a past life of yours?" Naruto asked Katara
"I guess" Katara said thinking it'd be an experience going to the home of her past life
Pyra growled at the picture of the island
"Hmm seems Pyra has a bad feeling about it" Naruto said as he felt it to 'blood' he thought wondering why he smelled blood in the salty air wondering why it was so powerful as it indicated the waters had much in them
"Either that or all the food she ate is giving her a upset stomach" Korra said laughing
Pyra huffed and laid down to go to sleep as soon as she landed
"Well let's get some sleep we will head for Kyoshi tomorrow I'll take first night watch girls" Naruto said as he sat near the fire
"You gonna get started reading that scroll from your mom?" Kurama asked
Naruto sighed as he removed the seal on the scroll and opened it reading everything he could wanting to learn about his heritage and learn as much as possible from his parents
Katara and korra went to there sleeping bags nearby and got ready for bed
"So sis…. What do you think of Naruto?" Korra asked as she laid down in her sleeping bag
"Well he reminds me of Sokka, always flirting with girls" Katara said
"He's nowhere near as bad as sokka" Korra said with a laugh remembering how her big bro used to flirt with girls back home and failed horribly as he was usually getting pity from the women as they gave him attention when they looked past his ego and everything else
"Yea Naruto at least sounds genuine in what he says Katara said with a light blush on her face
"Ask me his mouth goes ahead of his brain, seems like he doesn't intend to flirt, he just does" Korra said as that was interesting to her as she found his brutal honesty and pure comments attractive
"Well at least he's nice and isn't a jerk like most guys would with you saying you want to fight" Katara said
Korra smiled lightly at that liking that Naruto actually likes that she wanted to fight
(Next morning)
Naruto and the group were flying on Pyra towards where the map said Kyoshi island was nearby
"I still don't see why we had to leave so early" Korra groaned as she was still sleepy
"Oh quit whining" Naruto said looking back at Korra
"Yea it's best we keep moving in case Zuko is following us" Katara said
"I don't care I'm still sleepy" Korra said slightly whining
"You don't sound like a warrior to me right now" Naruto teases hoping to motivate Korra
"Fuck off" Korra said hitting Naruto slightly in the shoulder in her tired state
"Language" Katara said with a disapproving scowled at her sister
"Oh shut it" Korra said as she yawned tired of her sister's wet blanket attitude
"There's Kyoshi island" Naruto said as the clouds cleared and showed the island
Pyra growled as she looked at the island
"Still don't get why you don't like it" Korra said to the dragon
"Predator I think" Naruto said as these waters still smelled like blood the smell was stronger around the island
"Or she senses something we can't" Katara said to them as animals had stronger senses
"Well let's land already I want to go swimming" Korra said with a smile
"Didn't you swim enough back home?" Naruto asked
"In arctic weather?" Korra asked flatly as that was so cold she couldn't enjoy swimming
"You just seemed like the type to do so" Naruto said
"She did once as a kid" Katara said with a smile at the memory
"Can we just land, I don't think Naga is taking to flying so good" Korra said as her polar bear dog was whining on Pyra and looked nervous
"If that dog pukes on her Pyra may just drop her" Naruto said to her very seriously
"Then less talking and more landing" Korra said to him wanting to be on the ground with her girl
"Yes dear" Naruto said sarcastically
"Careful whiskers" Korra said slugging him again in the shoulder
"Katara Korra is being mean to me" Naruto said in a whiney childish tone
"Oh spirits help me" Katara said rolling her eyes as her traveling companions were adults with childish minds
(15 minutes later)
"Wow this is a nice beach" Naruto said as Pyra landed
"Like you've seen better" Kurama said as Naruto had rarely seen the ocean
Pyra looked at the water and growled just staring at it
"Does she not like sea water?" Katara asked
"I don't think it's the water itself that's got her on edge." Naruto said as some things washed up that worried him he saw a giant fish scale that seemed ripped in half
"Too bad you can't speak dragon." Korra said to him jokingly
"Aren't you gonna go swim?" Naruto said
"Doing that now" Korra said as she and Katara took off their winter coats and regular clothes leaving them in there white bindings
Naruto's eyes slightly widened as he looked at their figures

"She's pretty reckless" Naruto said with a smile finding that attractive
Naga began barking as Pyra stomped on the ground
Suddenly unknown to Korra one of the Giant Koi got pulled under
"What the hell?" Naruto said as that didn't seem natural
"Korra!" Katara yelled seeing the same thing as Naruto
"What I'm just having fu-UNNNN" Korra shouted as her koi got yanked under launching her off
Naruto jumped into action and ran on the water and caught Korra bridal style "the fuck was that?" he asked as that looked like an eel and a serpent
Suddenly a giant green dragon like serpent came out of the water devouring the Koi Korra was riding
"The Unagi" Kurama said recognizing this creature
"Unagi?" Naruto said as he ran towards the shore not realizing he had his hand on Korra's ass
"H-hey! Watch it!" Korra yelled a blush on her face knowing it wasn't intentional
"O-Oh I'm sorry!" Naruto said as he got on shore and put her down
"That thing must've been what Pyra was worried about" Katara said as she ran over to Pyra and Naga close behind
"But how'd she know about it, she's never been here" Naruto said as he knew his dragon understood there was a predator her due to the blood
"Probably has some instincts like you gaki" Kurama said as he had to admit he was impressed the dragon could detect it during flight
"Yeah but I didn't sense anything" Naruto thought
"Sage chakra isn't useful for natural things and unfortunately that thing is natural probably blended in with all the fish" Kurama said to him
"Okay not going back out there" Korra said as she wasn't gonna go out at sea with that out there
The Unagi roared at the group and went back underwater
"Yeah same to you!" Korra yelled clearly upset that her fun was ruined
Naruto shook his head at this but suddenly he felt something nearby suddenly some smoke bombs were thrown at them from some bushes nearby
Naga growled as she bare her teeth ready to strike
Pyra got in the air and flapped her wings sending the smoke away showing a group of woman holding fans charging at them
Suddenly Naruto ducked avoiding a swipe from a woman who attacked him
"Hey that's no way to attack a guest is it?" Naruto asked looking at the woman who attacked him she had light brown hair she had high C cup breasts and curvy toned ass
"Kyoshi warriors, I thought they'd have died out by now" Kurama said as the he didn't think the tradition would live on long since most avatars were forgotten in the centuries that went on
"Yeah I mean why are you attacking the avatar, and us!" Korra said
Naga whimpered as bolos tied her mouth shut and made her drop to the ground
"Hey!" Korra shouted before getting tied down as well
"Korra!" Katara said before she too got tied up
"Okay you've gone and pissed me off" Naruto said as he used a kunai to slice Katara's ropes and some that were heading for him
The warriors were about to attack again
"I said back off!" Naruto yelled his eyes turning into the rinnegan which made the warriors stop in there tracks
"Are you the sage of six paths?" The girl who attacked Naruto asked
"Yeah and this one is the avatar ask questions before you attack" Naruto said as he was impressed by their skills but not by their deductive skills
"Sorry, we are defending this village from intruders" the girl said a little embarrassed
"Well you did a good job miss?" Naruto asked hoping for a name
"Suki" The girl said finding no problem telling him her name
"Can I get some help here?!" Korra yelled still tied up on the ground next to Naga who whined
Pyra landed next to Naruto and turned back to her small size and jumped on katara's shoulder
Naruto freed Korra and Naga getting a lick from the dog in appreciation
(15 minutes later)
"So you're Kyoshi warriors?" Naruto asked as they headed into the village
"Yes, how did you know?" Suki asked curiously
"A… friend told me" Naruto said
"What are kyoshi warriors?" Korra asked curiously
"We protect the village using the fighting style of avatar Kyoshi" Suki said proudly
"Awesome" Korra said with a smile
"Using fans?" Naruto asked curiously
"What's wrong with fans?" Suki asked raising a brow
"Nothing in fact a friend back home uses a fan to boost her air attacks, a very big fan" Naruto said remembering his friend's sister as she was someone he respected as a fellow wind user
"So what brings you to our island?" Suki asked curiously
"Katara thought it'd be interesting to see a island where one of her previous lives lived" Naruto said
"And I wanted to swim until that giant thing tried to eat me, well more the Koi than me" Korra said
"Yes, the Unagi" Suki said
"I'm surprised you are not surprised I'm the avatar" Katara said
"Well the fire nation put out wanted posters of you" Suki said holding up a fire nation wanted poster showing drawings of Katara Korra and Naruto
"Look at this!" Korra said looking at the poster upset
"I know" Katara said with a frown that now all of the fire nation knew about her
"No they didn't even get my good side" Korra said as her wanted poster was of her giving a stern look
"Oh brother" Katara said
"Both your sides are good sides" Naruto said to Korra
Korra smiled as she liked his god honest praise
"So how long will you be staying in Kyoshi?" Suki asked curiously
"A few days since we need to get supplies and I was hoping to train some of you and your warriors in chakra" Naruto said
Me and my fellow warriors would be honored to learn from you Suki said bowing her head at Naruto
"Sucks we just get boosts out of it" Korra said still bitter about that fact
"Oh quit whining about it" Katara said rolling her eyes at her sister
"So where do you kyoshi warriors train?" Naruto asked
"Follow us" Suki said as she lead them to the village
"Lead the way beautiful" Naruto said to her making her blush
Korra glared at the girl as she liked the attention she got from Naruto and didn't like it being stolen from her
"You flirt with every girl you meet?" Suki asked curiously
"Sorry for some reason they just come out automatically" Naruto said
"Well to be fair it's not every girl" Katara said to her
"Yea just the ones he finds interesting" Korra said flatly
"Is someone jealous that someone else is getting attention?" Suki asked teasingly

"Yeah before the fire lord tried to make me do it I ran, and have never returned to the fire nation ever since" Asami said
"You and your dad must be some inventors for the fire lord to want to make you work" Korra said
"You should've seen my dads prototypes" Asami said as she reminisced
"Yeah well we're trying to get to the north pole so me and my sister can have a proper water bending teacher" Korra said
"So she's the avatar but can barely bend?" Asami asked finding that odd

Asami took a stance ready to fight "same here" she said ready for korra's attack
Korra charged at Asami and threw a punch but Asami dodged and grabbed her free arm and put her into a hold and slammed her into the ground
"Self taught fighter too huh" Asami said with a smile of admiration as not many benders worked on their bodies as well as their bending
"That was awesome" Korra said not bothered that she was in a hold
"You're not gonna last long if that's how you fight" Asami said as she let Korra up
"Well you seem to know what you're doing care to teach me?" Korra asked always willing to learn anything she thought was exciting
"I guess but wouldn't you rather have the sage teach you?" Asami asked
"He's busy with them" Korra said pointing at the Kyoshi warriors who were still trying to get used to walking up walls
"That and you haven't stopped checking me out right?" Asami asked with a smile at Korra
"What can I say, when you're hot, you're hot" Korra said glad Asami was ok with her checking her out
"Tell you what let's go get something to eat then we can train a bit" Asami said with a small chuckle
"If you're buying I'm eating" Korra said as she grabbed Asami's hand and dragged her into town
(With Katara)
Katara was currently shopping for supplies with some of the money Naruto gave her when she felt something strange
She looked over and saw Korra in a restaurant enjoying herself as she talked to some girl
'Korra likes women?' Katara thought to herself as she didn't know that Korra was bisexual
"Hey Katara" Naruto said, walking over "What's up?" he asked
"Nothing" Katara said quickly as who korra dated was her business
"You need help carrying the supplies?" Naruto asked seeing that Katara has two big backpacks full of stuff
Katara smiled hearing this as she was glad Naruto was so helpful "sure" she said
"Anytime" Naruto said as he pulled out a blank scroll and sealed the two backpacks away
"I'm starting to see why Korra is jealous" Katara said as that was pretty useful and handy
"Huh?" Naruto said before noticing Korra in the restaurant "Who's Korra with? Looks like someone from the fire nation" he said
"I don't know, never met her" Katara said as she grabbed Naruto's hand "come on let's go see the village" she said
"A day in a village with a pretty girl why would I say no?" Naruto said with a smile at Katara
Katara blushed at this and grabbed his arm as they walked "well I could do worse" she said with a small smile
(With Zuko a few days later)
Zuko was eating dinner with his uncle in his room trying to figure out where the avatar could be heading following the direction he went in and going to wherever they thought he'd be
"Nephew you should eat you can't track the avatar on a empty stomach" Iroh said as he ate peacefully
"I can't focus on anything else before I have a lead on where the avatar is" Zuko said sounding determined and angry
"Well let's think about this, where would someone who just found out they are the avatar go?" Iroh asked as he looked at the map Zuko was using
Zuko looked at the map thinking about what his uncle said when he had a idea "Kyoshi island that is the home of a past avatar" he said
"That's a good idea nephew" Iroh said with a nod as it made sense
Zuko turned to a guard guarding his door "Tell the crew to change course for Kyoshi island!" He said
(With Naruto)
Naruto was watching the Kyoshi warriors practice the three chakra basic techniques transformation clones and substitution
"You are all doing fantastic" he said with a smile at the warriors
"Thank you Sifu you're to kind Suki said with a bow of her head as she liked how nice he was to them and treated them as equals and hadn't made any passes at them
"Call me Naruto Suki" Naruto responded as he poked Suki in the forehead as he had told her this for the past 2 days
Suki chuckled as she moved his fingers off of her head "so you're leaving today?" She asked a frown on her face
"Yea sadly we have to keep moving since the longer we stay the more likely the fire nation will show up" Naruto said as he was sure Zuko was following him and knew the rest of the fire nation would soon catch on
"I understand" Suki said sighing as she was disappointed that Naruto was leaving
"You want to come with us?" Naruto asked curiously
"And leave my fellow warriors?" Suki said to him
"Well it wouldn't be forever plus I'm sure they would be fine since you've all gotten much stronger these past few days" Naruto said as he knew choices had to be made in war and having Suki with them would be both pleasant and useful
"It's not easy for a leader to leave their people" Suki said as it was her responsibility to lead them
"Oh stop Suki we know you want to leave with your precious sifu" one of the other girls said with a teasing smile as the other girls giggled
Suki turned back with a blush on her face
"It's your choice though I'm certain we'll end up running into each other again" Naruto said with a smile as he turned to leave the dojo
"W-wait! I'll pack my things!" Suki said making her decision as she ran off to go pack
"Wow Suki must really like you" one of the other warriors said to Naruto
"Girls around here seem to naturally do that" Naruto said as he chuckled
"And some back home if you paid attention" Kurama said as he rolled his eyes
'Yea yea I know' Naruto thought at Kurama as he knew he was a idiot
"I wonder how this is going to affect Korra, I've never seen her so happy with someone." Katara said as she saw how Korra liked spending time with Asami
"She's a fighter right? Why not have her come too?" Naruto asked as him and Katara walked towards the beach to meet up with korra
"is Pyra strong enough to carry two more?" Katara asked
Pyra who was on Naruto's shoulder looked at Katara like she was offended and gave the avatar the stink eye
"I think she's strong enough to carry a lot of people, let's just not push our luck" Naruto said as he was sure Pyra was contemplating on setting Katara on fire
They soon arrived at the beach and saw Korra talking to Asami
"Talking to your girlfriend?" Naruto asked with a smile
"least i have one" Korra said moth a smirk
Naruto's eye twitched hearing that as korra laughed at his reaction
"He's cute" Asami said to Korra checking Naruto out
"Yeah he is" Korra said checking him out as well
"Well come on we're going" Naruto said to them
"Wait for me!" A voice yelled out as a girl with short brown hair as she ran over with a backpack
"I know you?" Naruto asked curiously
"It's Suki do I really look that different without makeup" Suki said resting her hand on her hip
"Yes" Naruto said
Pyra and Naga sniffed the air before growling
"Smell that?" Naruto asked
The others sniffed as well
"Smells like… ash" Suki said as she glared out at sea knowing what was coming
They looked and saw from afar that Zuko ship was approaching
"Everyone on Pyra now!" Naruto yelled as said dragon went full sized knowing they'd draw attention away from the island if they just left
"Why run when we can fight them?" Korra asked in anger hating running from a single ship they could take down
"Because we led them here and I'm not gonna let the village be attacked because of us now get on the dragon!" Naruto yelled
Katara nodded agreeing with Naruto as they all got on Pyra and took off
They all looked at the sea below them seeing the ship begin to change course
"Hey prince scarhead follow us!" Naruto yelled as they took off leading them away from Kyoshi
"Where are you leading him? " Asami asked
"I don't know just away and when did you get on?" Naruto asked
Suddenly the Unagi surfaced and attacked Zuko's ship slowing it down
"I take it back starting to like that thing" Korra said as she laughed at the prince's misfortune
"So that's why the fire nation avoids Kyoshi" Katara said as she had been wondering
"Now about you miss stowaway" Naruto said looking at Asami
"Like I was gonna let her go that easy" Asami said looking at Korra
"Besides she has skills that can be useful she's a good fighter and is good with inventing" Korra said
"Eh I got time" Naruto said as he was gonna train Asami as it'd be a great addition to the team and give him a way to kill time
"Plus your hand to hand sucks" Kurama said as Asami could help him train that
'Screw you' Naruto thought as when it came to technique he fought like a drunken brawler but he was still skilled
"Well your welcome to join us we could ya all the help we can get" Katara said with a friendly smile
Asami smiled glad to be welcomed to the team as Pyra continued to fly
