"Beth relax, Riley Mom's just trying to be safe with all these bad drivers on the road and San"
I look over as Quinn grabs my hand. I huff and she laughs slightly, she knows she's calming me down but damn it I'm still gonna fight it. When she finally brings my hand into her lap and begins playing with my fingers is when I fully surrender.

"Sorry guys, I'm just trying to make sure we get to the zoo in time" I look over at Quinn who's smiling "I'm sorry babe" she nods as we continue to the zoo and I attempt to contain myself.

This year will be Quinn and I's 10 year wedding anniversary, we're going away for the weekend and before we do we wanted to spend the afternoon with the kids. I look in my rearview and see Beth, she's 13 now and Riley is 8.
Beth catches my eye and I stick my tongue out, she rolls her eyes but returns the gesture. I met Quinn when Beth was 3, she's not mine but she is and I absolutely love her, she's Quinn through and through but Riley? He's all me and I feel bad for him.

"We're here guys!" Quinn smiles unbuckling her seatbelt. I pay for our tickets as Beth holds the map. "Where we starting Mini Q Ball?"
Beth looks up at me rolling her eyes "That got old like 10 years ago" Quinn laughs hitting my shoulder as Riley takes my hand.
"Let's ditch these blondies Ry" He shakes his head "No way Mom, we almost got kicked out last time remember"
"What!" Quinn says and I look at Riley
"Traidor" He sticks his tongue out and we begin our trek.
Walking a little I notice Riley slowly making his way to Quinn and Beth migrating next to me,
I'm looking at the weird display setup when I feel something….
Beth plays it cool sliding her hand into mine and it melts my heart, I give her a squeeze and she smiles. I look over at Q who is nodding placing her hand over her heart.

Quinn and I have been dating for almost 6 months now and she wants me to meet her daughter, I'm apprehensive at first but agree.
Judy brings her downstairs and I am blown away, she's the spitting image of Quinn.
"San, this is Beth…..Beth this is Santana"
I kneel down and look at this beautiful little blonde girl hiding behind her moms leg.
She smiles waving shyly as I reach my hand out
"It's nice to meet you Beth" she giggles taking my hand and that's all it takes.
I'm a goner for sure but then she seals my fate
"Hi Tana" she giggles hugging me and the rest is history

"I love you, you know that right?" She rolls her eyes letting go of my hand
"Had to make it awkward huh mom" I laugh pulling her into my side whispering
"I can make it really awkward if you want?" Her eyes go wide as she shakes her head
"No no no, I love you, please don't"
I kiss the top of her head and we rejoin the other two. We have lunch and finish walking around before it's time to head home.

"Goodnight you guys, we love you" We kiss and hug each kid tucking them in before heading to our room.

"So you guys will be back for sure Sunday night right?" Beth asks again
"Yes B, I'll text you when we leave okay?" She nods hugging us one more time
"They'll be fine you guys, go, I have the whole weekend planned out!" Judy says clapping her hands, Beth rolls her eyes and Riley's widen
Better you than me guys, suckers
Quinn starts getting teary eyed and that's my cue, she's not canceling our weekend, nope.
"Okay crybaby let's go!" I laugh turning Quinn towards the door and she hits my shoulder laughing "Mean"
I open the door for Q then double check the back making sure we have everything, because there's no way in hell I'm turning around or leaving early.

It's about an hour drive, I rented us a small house by the beach, Quinn's been saying how much she wanted to get away and being the thoughtful wife that I am, I jumped at the chance to see her in a bikini.
Sorry not sorry, my wife is hot!
We pull up to the house and I grab our bags
"You think the kids are okay San?"
I roll my eyes "Nosotros no hemos ido una hora, relajarse"
Quinn turns looking at me and when her eyebrow quirks I can't tell if she's gonna slap me or kiss me but when she jumps into my arms and kisses me, I drop the bags.
"I'll never get tired of you speaking Spanish, so fucking hot"

We stand there for a few minutes, her lips have always been amazing, my hands gravitate to her ass and I squeeze making her laugh.
"What are you waiting for?" She husks and my eyes practically roll to the back of my head, this weekend is going to fucking rock, I love my kids but they're a bunch of cockblocks.
Smiling I lift her up, she knows the drill so she wraps her fine ass legs around my waist and her arms cross behind my neck but in my haste to get her into bed I realize I don't really know where the rooms are.
"San…Couch" She grunts and I smile nodding laying her down gently, we spend the next few hours feeling like teenagers again.
"San" she sighs tracing invisible circles on my collarbone as I play with her hair
"Yeah babe?"
She looks up at me putting her hand under her chin in my chest "I love you" I smile kissing the top of her head. "I love you too Lucy Q, and I love our kids but fuck I've missed it being just us"
She laughs hitting my chest "Asshole. But I agree, I've missed it too"
We eventually get up heading to the kitchen.
Unpacking the groceries we decided on home made pizzas, hers has an obscene amount of, you guessed it, bacon.
"Lucy" I begin "You better add pepperoni on yours because I'm not sharing"
She laughs hip checking me "I'm fine I promise"
I roll my eyes because I already know my wife, she does this every time. Watch. Once we sit down she'll try to be all cute while reaching for my pizza.

As the pizzas cook we head to the back patio, I made sure we were only about 20 feet from the water, she's leaning against the railing and I'm behind her with my arms around her she puts her hands on top of mine and I can't help but remember our first date

She grabs my hand intertwining our fingers as we walk off our dinner, it's a cool evening in Boston and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the simple fact that this goddess agreed to go out with me.
"I had a great time Santana" she says as we walk up to her door
"Me too Quinn, thank you for seeing me"
We stand in front of her door awkwardly, I'm trying really hard to be respectful but everything inside me just wants to jump her bones right here on this doorstep.
She reaches for her keys and I back up slowly
"Sweet dreams Q"
As i turn she reaches for my hand turning me back around, at first I'm caught off guard but when her lips are on mine I relax into her touch. Her lips feel heavenly and before I can stop myself I have her pinned against the wall with her hands on my hips and mine in her hair. I eventually rest my forehead against hers as we catch our breaths
"Wow" is all she says and I nod because this kiss shaken me to my core.
"Can I see you again" I ask breathlessly and she smiles "Absolutely"
She kisses me once more before heading inside. I decide to take the long way home and once I've arrived I sit in my car touching my lips smiling like a damn fool because honestly, who's the sucker that falls in love after only one date?

We hear the timer go off and I grab our pizzas as Q gets the plates and drinks. We meet in the living room and I press play on the movie as we eat.
About 15 minutes into the movie out of the corner of my eye I notice Q looking at my pizza licking her lips.
I smile because she's so predictable and I called it but I'm not giving in, not just yet anyways. I decide she's going to work for this slice of MY pizza.
So I ignore her and keep eating
"Excuse you" I lightly slap her hand away
"San please?" She pouts and I shake my head
"Nope, I told you Lucy Q and you said you were and I quote, fine" She crosses her arms leaning against the couch and I know, she's planning out her next move.
She smirks leaning close to my ear but she doesn't say anything, no, she simply runs her tongue from the base of my neck to the tip of my ear and when I tell you it sends a shiver so far down my spine that my toes curl, my breath hitches.
She's smug knowing she's won, I slide my plate over and she claps in victory "I love you" she finally says and I playfully roll my eyes "Uh huh"
She takes a bite looking at me while quirking her eyebrow "Say it back!"
I laugh shaking my head "Nah"
She puts the slice down before jumping in my lap "Santana Marie Lopez!"
Hearing her say my whole name makes me laugh I feel like a kid in trouble.
"Fuck I love the sound of my name rolling off your tongue"
She smiles "If you want anything else rolling off my tongue this weekend you better say it back and say it now"
Never backing down from a challenge I respond "Is that right"
She quirks that eyebrow "Try me"
Nope. Don't do it fool! Abort mission
Deciding I actually want some this weekend, I wrap my arms around her, pulling her close placing kisses all over her face "I love you, I love you I love you I love you I love you"
She squirms laughing trying to escape my grasp
"Stop! San….Santana!"
I smile "Damn I wasn't planning on having you scream my name til later but"
She hits my shoulder grabbing her, my, pizza but doesn't leave my lap, we spend the rest of the night watching movies, cuddling and making out.

We wake up around 8 Saturday morning, Quinn wants to head to the beach and I want to see her in a bikini. We have a quick breakfast and I pack us a picnic for lunch. Grabbing our chairs and towels we make our way.
I lean back in my chair sunglasses covering my eyes, pretending to read a book when in reality, I'm waiting for her to drop that damn towel and when she finally does…
I can't help the "Fuck" that escapes my lips
She smiles knowingly heading to the water for a bit, I sit there pretending to read but really I'm watching her and she knows it.
She's so fucking perfect it's insane

I'm mentally high fiving myself for letting Kurt talk me into buying this bikini. It's black and barely there but he said Santana would love it.
I head towards the water for a bit to cool down but I know she's watching me so I put a little extra sway in my hips. When I look back as she waves blowing me a kiss and sure does take me way back…..

Quinn's POV

We're at dinner and she's talking about something, I know I should be paying attention but I just can't help but stare at her. I put my chin on the palm of my hand slowly stirring my drink as she goes on but all i can think about is the way she always tries to touch me, not in an inappropriate way no her small touches are gestures, her way of showing she cares, I think about the way her long black hair always seems so perfectly curled, I think about the way she talks with her hands especially when she's excited or angry and I'm absolutely thinking of one of my favorite things, her smile. Not just any smile though, the one when the dimple on her left side really shines through.
She makes me feel like I'm the only person in the room, never have I ever had someone make me feel that way and this is only our fifth date.
"Isn't that great Q?" She says touching my hand
"I'm so sorry Santana what?"
She smiles shaking her head "Where'd you go just now huh?"
I turn her hand over intertwining our fingers smiling. "I hope it's not too soon to say this but I really like you Santana, I love spending time with you" I see her smile as her dimple makes an appearance and it makes me smile more
"I really like you too Q.
We finish dinner and after a short drive she's walking me up to my door again.
This time I don't hesitate, I fist her tee shirt pulling her into me and that makes her smile. She once said she liked it when I was assertive so I gently push her against the wall placing both hands against it while hers stay steady on my hips.
"Te Veyo Manana Hermosa" she husks out and it's the first time I've heard her speak Spanish.
And just like that I learned it does….things to me
"You're so fucking hot when you speak Spanish"
She laughs pulling me in once more.
"Dulce suenos" She says against my lips "Hermosa" smiling against her lips I smack her ass she laughs walking to her car. Once inside she gives me a small wave blowing a kiss.
Yep that sealed it, I'm officially in love with this gorgeous perfect woman.

Quinn and I head back to the house to clean up before dinner. She doesn't know it yet but I have reservations at her favorite restaurant, Menton.
"San" she shakes her head as I hold up a very risky dress "Put it on Luce" She huffs taking said dress and going into the master bath.
I turn the music up heading to the guest room. As I curl my hair I sing softly along with the radio.
"Wow" I hear behind me and it makes me smile
"Like what you see Mrs Lopez?"
She laughs walking up behind me "Don't tell my wife this but the things I could do to you, Mrs Lopez"
I smack her arm shaking my head "Shameless"
I turn to look at her, she's in a beautiful hunter green strapless dress her hair is pulled up and she has flats.
Point Santana for wearing heels
She looks at me "You're going to enjoy this height difference aren't you?" I laugh nodding
"Every minute of it!"
"Ready?" I ask as she grabs her purse
"San!" She beams from the car as we pull in
"What my baby wants my baby gets! Let's go"
After checking in they seat us in the back, we order a bottle of wine as well as our meals making small talk about any and everything and it once again cements why I fell in love with this woman.
We can do absolutely nothing and it always feels like everything, we always find something to discuss and sometimes debate, friendly of course.
After dinner we go home and change into something more comfortable before going for a walk along the boardwalk.
I take my jacket off putting it over her shoulders and she offers a small thank you grabbing my arm.
We sit on the beach, she's in between my legs with her back against my chest and I again wrap my arms around her neck, we sit in silence enjoying the sounds as the waves crash in front of us.
"You remember when we found out I was pregnant with Riley?"
I nod "How could I not!" We both laugh

Beth and Quinn are in the living room watching cartoons when I storm in like a bat outta hell.
"Babe!" She yells as i jump on her kissing her
"Babe" KISS Beth's KISS right KISS here" She says trying to A control herself our daughter does not need to see this and B find out what the hell has me so worked up
Breathless she cups my cheeks smiling
"Babe!" I say while she and Beth look at each other confused "What?"
"I'm pregnant!"
Her eyes couldn't be wider and she grasp my hips jumping to our feet "Are you sure?"
I smile nodding "Just came back from my Dr appointment, I'm 12 weeks"
"Holy Shit!" I yell laughing
We hear a tiny "Holy Shit" next to us and Q puts me down "Fuck I'm sorry Q"
"FucQ" Beth says and I cover my mouth because our 5 year old just basically said fuck you and it was fucking adorable.
"Beth sweetie we don't say bad words okay?"
Quinn tells her, she smiles nodding.
She looks back at me and I cannot contain myself "We're gonna have another baby!"
I pick her up spinning her "Baby!" She laughs
I put her down gently scooping up Beth tossing her up in the air "You're gonna be a big sister B!" She giggles as I spin her.

"I'm so in love with you Q, it's almost ten years later and you still make my heart skip a beat"
She squeezes my hand bringing it up to her lips
"You hang the moon for me San, I wouldn't trade our life for anything"
We sit there a while longer before heading back to the house. I run a bath for us, Quinn puts on some music and we spend our last night there making love over and over again.

Sunday
As we drive back home a sense of calm seems to wash over us. I think we get so busy with our lives we forget to take some time for us. I cherish these moments, Q is looking out the window singing softly reaching over I grab her hand making sure I kiss every inch but I just can't help myself
"Ow!" She laughs hitting my hand "You and your biting!" I laugh shrugging "Normally you like it!"
"Mom! Ma!" Riley says jumping into Quinn's arms as Beth strolls out of Judys
"You have fun punk? I ask and she shrugs handing me her bag
"It was okay"
Riley laughs "Nu hu Beth had fun she even laughed when grandma Judy tripped"
That makes us laugh as we load the car then thank Judy once again for watching the kids finally heading home.
"You guys have fun?" Beth asks
"I definitely had fun" I smirk looking at Quinn "What about you Lucy?"
She instantly blushes shaking her head because I only call her that when we are alone.
"Ugh, gross why did I even ask" Beth huffs crossing her arms
"What did you guys do?" Riley asks
"What didn't we do... As soon as get got there your mom..." I start as Quinn hits my arm
"Please, please don't finish that sentence" Beth huffs and I laugh.
