Naruto growled to himself, he was tired...tired of the rejections, the hatred, the glares. As he lays in his bed, sneering at the blank dark ceiling.
Even after everything that he's done for Konoha, Naruto could not get a single iota of respect or acknowledgement from most of the citizens of the village and it was starting to get to the Jinchuriki, one day he was walking through the village Naruto hears some people talking.
"Did you hear about Yoshino and Shikaku Nara?" a man asks the woman that he was with.
"No, what happened?"
"Apparently Shikaku cheated on Yoshino while he was in Suna with a woman named Yunri Tokaboro, she's one of those really unsavory types of women who live in the Red Light District near where that Demon Boy lives." the man says with a deep scowl.
The woman's good mood instantly dropped when she heard the man disparage Naruto, whom had saved her from a band of thugs who intended to sell her into sex slavery along with ninety other women and girls, so she was understandably in the Jinchuriki's debt, even though he said that she wasn't.
Hearing this angered and saddened Naruto, he'd known Shikaku and Yoshino ever since he was four and he'd always thought they were a well-rounded, well-respected couple and even though he'd developed a crush on Yoshina when he was little, Naruto knew that deep down he'd never have a chance with a knockout like Yoshina Nara, so he decided to hide his feelings for the older brunette under the guise of Naruto having a crush on Sakura Haruno, someone who in reality he detested because of her borderline obsession with Sasuke Uchiha for one and two, she did not take her Kunoichi training seriously, which is why Tsunade stopped training her as the Hokage's apprentice, instead opting to train Ino Yamanaka and Hinata Hyuuga, who really impressed Tsunade in last three months.
Two nights later...
Nearly everyone in the village was at the Hokage Tower for the newly instated Founder's Day celebration, including the fractured Nara couple, but noticeably absent was the Village Hero/Pariah, Naruto Uzumaki, which just so happens to be who Yoshino is looking for.
Spotting Shizune, the soon to be former Mrs. Nara walked over to the younger Medic-Nin, who is looking none too happy.
Hello, Shizune, I've been looking for Naruto-kun, have you seen him?" Yoshino asked, smiling warmly at Naruto's second surrogate big Sister.
After taking a long sip of wine from her glass, Shizune hiccuped and turned to Yoshino.
"The C-(Hic) Civilian C-Council didn't w...want ruto-kun h-here... (Hic) E-even after everything good he-he's done for this village...th-their s-so ungrateful."
Shizune says, slurring her words terribly.
Learning this angers Yoshino greatly, looking down at her dress, the brunette sighed, she'd worn this new dress for two reasons, chief of which was to catch Naruto's eye ever since she had inadvertently overheard Naruto and Choji talking at the Akamichi's BBQ restaurant and that Naruto had given up his pursuit of Sakura Haruno, deciding to turn his attentions and affections towards older women, who are more receptive to his advances, especially after the war. Yoshino smiled at herself.
The black dress covers just one of her shoulders, leaves the other uncovered and flows down into an elegant round neckline. It's a comfortable fit which removes the focus from her breasts, but without making it look sloppy.
Her arms have been covered only halfway down. The sleeves are simply, yet elegant. A perfect combination of grace and style.
The dress' waist is thin, but it's a tight fit. It's not decorated with anything in order to create a graceful, flowing look.
Below the waist the dress fits snug around her and has a draped style. The dress reaches to well above her ankles and is the same length all around.
She's wearing low-cut heels, no other shoe would've matched this dress better. To top it all off she's wearing a subtle necklace and several jeweled bracelets.
"Oh OK, well thank you Shizune, I'm going to go to the Namikaze Compound and see if Naruto-kun is home, good night."
Naruto sighs as he exits his shower, grabbing an orange towel, the blonde dries himself off before walking towards his bedroom. Ten minutes later, Naruto came out of his room shirtless and wearing a pair of dark red sweatpants and no shoes, he has a navy blue hand towel draped over his shoulders. After the relaxing shower, Naruto made his way to the kitchen so that he can eat his Tonkotsu ramen, a gift from the Akamichi family. But before the blonde Jinchuriki can reach his kitchen several frantic knocks on his front door are heard.
Naruto drops his head.
'Great, someone is here, probably to rub it in that I was barred from the Founder's Day celebration.' Naruto thought dryly.
Padding to the door, Naruto reached out and grabbed the knob.
"Who is it?" Naruto asked evenly.
"Naruto, it's me, Yoshino, can I please come in?"
Naruto, for a long moment had lost all forms of higher brain function as he registered what the woman who was standing on the other side of his door had said.
Naruto quickly opens the door and is stunned by the absolutely beautiful woman who is now in front of him. Naruto felt his heart leap up into his throat, temporarily Disabling the blonde's ability to speak. Yoshino blushed shyly under his appreciative gaze.
Naruto steps aside, allowing the older woman entry into his house.
