Magic Kiss

It has been some time since Nabu has taken Zatara and she is still mourning her lose although some Boy Wonder has been making things way easier. Since the Dr. Fate incident Robin has been the greatest supporter the magician could have ask for; he was comprehensive, sweet, caring and I'd be a lie if Zatanna said she wasn't heads over heels for the Ninja of the team, even before losing her father she found him charming, cute, handsome, and manly. Plus, all the time he has been spending taking care of her didn't make things easier, she was falling way to hard, and she didn't want it to stop.

The same goes for the Dark Knight protégée, it was secret to no one that he was so in love with the sorcerer, he just loves everything about hair; her eyes, hair, the way she play with the words like him, she was so gorgeous, Dick was sure that the moment he lie eyes on her that she would be trouble to him and her mischievous attitude and sassiness just made everything worse, he make himself look desperate the moment he introduced himself and his poor attempts to flirt with her Wally's style although she didn't seem to mind one bit. He was trying his best to cheer her up after her father sacrifice, he hates to see someone been through the same he has been and even more if that someone was Zee.

Now here we are with the whole team reunited after a mission. The mission as always consist of infiltrate and recover as much information as possible, the rumour has it that the light has been trying to collect mystical artifacts to increase the power of Chaos and bring the league down. The mission was easy enough if hasn't been for Zee getting by one of those artifacts, after been hit she got unconscious but was protected all the time by Robin. They manage to beat the light and get by to the Bioship were the team did a quick analyse on Zatanna and after realize that now she was just sleeping and have no apparent harm, everyone seems to ease down, everyone but the boy of wonder, he didn't left her side any second until they arrive to Mount Justice and after a checkout by Leslie, everyone got the good news that harm has not been done and as soon as she wakes up she should be alright although they should be aware of any side effect and call the league if anything changes.

Zee woke up after a few hours, confused of how she gets to her room, everything seems fuzzy until she remember the mission. Then she notices that someone was with her in her room sleeping in a chair next to her bed holding her hand.

"Robin" she says softly.

Upon hearing her voice, the Ninja quickly look up to see the beautiful magician smiling and looking at him.

"Hey Zee, how are you feeling?" Robin said with concern in his voice.

Zatanna took note in the concern in his voice and answered instantly.

"Feeling the Aster" answer with a smirk.

Robin just smiled at her. The two yours just kept looking at each other for what it seems has been for mere seconds but in reality, was for several minutes. They gaze only been interrupted by the team checking on Tanna current state, everyone smiles to see that she was wide awake and smile, although everyone taking notice in the handholding. Upon see where their gazes were point out, the love birds waste no time in break apart with a huge blush on their faces. For the sake of the young ones, Aqualad proceed to ask Zatanna how's she feeling, after her answer everyone got out to the room and continued chatting.

The team except Robin and Kaldur went to the kitchen to eat something.

"Why didn't they come with us" ask Zatanna.

"They have to do the mission briefing to Batman" said Conner without putting much of a though to it.

"What? Why haven't they give the mission's details already? It has been like 3 hours since the mission ended." Zee ask with disbelief in her voice.

"Because, since you got hit by that magic thing, Robin didn't leave your side" Megan answered.

"Robin did what?!" Zatanna ask once again.

"Yeah, after you got hit, Robin run to you and catch. He throw some batarangs while holding you to Klarion and actually make him ran away" Artemis said with a smirk in her face.

"Oh yeah, although I think Klarion run away because of the bat-glare Robin throw at him. I mean I have seen him angry but never THAT angry" added Wally.

"And that wasn't it, when Batman ask for the mission report Robin didn't pay any attention to him, he wasn't going nowhere until he sees you wake up. I never though to see the day in which Batman will bent the knee" Artemis told the magician with a tone of respect for Ninja-boy.

"Yeah, that glare even make me budge" added the half kryptonian.

Zatanna, who has been quiet, upon hearing all that, have discovered a new shade of red with her face. She knew for a fact that Batman never change his mind but to hear that Robin manage that, for her. Driven even more in her thoughts, watching the face of the Acrobat in her mind, happy to know how much he care for her, make her face feel hotter. Suddenly with a smoke screen Robin appear, with a look of not knowing what just happened.

"Woow Rob, I knew you were a ninja, but this is just a new level" said Kid Flash

"I didn't do anything. I was with Bats and Kaldur. I don't know how I get here". Robin answered distraught heavy on DIS.

"Guys, Robin disappeared…" Aqualad got awestruck to see Robin with them. "But, how?"

"Don't look at me! I don't have any idea." Added a still confused Robin.

"I think I know what happened" said Zatanna shyly. "I recognize this kind of smoke, it's not the regular one that Batman or Robin use, this had magical properties".

"Mmm, so ok Robin appeared with magic, but Rob isn't a magician" state SB.

"Well, I think I made him appear but not so sure how" Zee said turning in a red mess as every word scape her mouth.

"Well Batman was telling us that he got information on the magic artifact, it seems that gives a magical boost a whoever gets hits by it, most likely Klarion didn't know about that and that's why he shot Zatanna" Kaldur said calmly.

"So that explains why Zatanna feint but wasn't hurt, she must have a magical outburst and she couldn't handle it" Boy wonder deducted.

"Makes sense" the team agreed in unison.

"Ok, that explains HOW Zee make Boy Blunder appear but why did she make you appear." Said Artemis still confused.

"I was thinking about him" as soon as she realized was, she said she cover her mouth with her hands and became flustered.

"Yeah, we were talking about how you would not leave her side after she passed out and how you throw the deadliest bat-glare that anyone including Klarion and Batman has seen" said Artemis to Robin, attempting to tease him.

After a moment of awkward silence, the team decide to change the topic and they start to think how much power Zatanna now posses, how does it work and for how long. Zatanna was deep in thoughts, thinking about the embarrassing situation that she just has been through and hope that Robin wouldn't freak out but at the same time wishing the two were left alone to spend so time together. In the exact moment those thoughts cross her mind, the team but Robin said their goodbyes and headed to the Zeta tubes without any other word. Upon realizing what she has done, she feels extremely embarrassed and didn't want to face Robin. The acrobat as he could hear her thoughts decide to change the mood.

"So, Zee, you want me all by yourself?" Said the teenager with a playful tone and smirk.

After a few moments the young magician regain her composure and strike back. "Well, for what everybody told me…it seems that you are already all mine, Boy Wonder." Said in a flirtatious way.

It was now Dick's turn to become a red-hot mess. "Woow, she's amazing" he thought. After a moment he answered: "Sooooo what do you want to do with me your majesty".

"Well for starters we can watch a movie"

"Sure, which one?"

"Mmm, what about the little mermaid?"

"Good enough to me, in the end, what matter it's to spend time with you" Robin finish with a wink. Gaining a deep blush from the sorcerer.

It has passed some time since the movie has started, they were both in the couch close to each other under a blanket, feeling each other warm. They were both just enjoying each other company, when suddenly the movie reaches the part where Ariel was in the boat and Sebastian was about to sing. When the song started both tensed up a bit, both thought that it was due to the freezing inside the cave but what they didn't know was that they want the other to take the leap a kiss him/her. Without realizing Tanna thoughts wandered even more in Robin holding and kissing her, suddenly she feels her face been cupped by couple of hands and then she just feels someone lips crashing into hers. At first, she tensed up a little bit but sooner than later she gave into the kiss and deepened it. They just break up the kiss due to the lack of air, both looking red with a huge a smile.

"So that's why you wanted me all by yourself? Ehh." Robin said playfully. Zatanna just blushed at the comment. And before she could answer, her lips were crashed once again.
