This is going to be a rewrite of The Green Blur of Mellowbrook. One of the reasons for this is this pacing as I thought upon how I was able to have Kick's adventures throughout the three months of summer. Then I thought about changing it up to school since it will have more pacing and time. As for Kick's powers, instead of Scourge's powers, it will be Shadow's powers. Both from the comics and games. As for Scourge, there will be a surprise later in the future chapters. As for why I made this change, I started thinking about Shadow recently and his character development and realized there's more in common with him and Kick then Scourge and Kick. Not to mention both are edgelords. So expect a different Kick then the one from my previous story.

Kick Buttowski: Ultimate Daredevil Ch 1

14 year old Kick Buttowski was laying in a hospital bed. He had both casts on his feet to his knees.

"God damn it..."

He didn't how it happened. It was one stunt, one fucking stunt! All he needed to was complete it and then he'd finally win all the attention that he rightfully deserved!

He heard the door open.

"Hello my fellow child."

Kick turned to a voice he didn't recognize.

The individual in question wore a hooded cloak that covered the persons's face.

"Your not the nurse." Kick said.

"I believe you already know that. So tell me, why are you here?"

"In case you haven't figured it out. I fucked up a stunt, my legs are in a cast, and I can't move!"

"Why are you so angry? Something like this would only take time to heal."

Kick scowled. "Well prepared to be shocked. According to what I've just learned, my leg bones were shattered to the point they become dust or something. They were beyond healing! They're unfixable!"

The stranger rubbed his chin. "I see...What is your dream?"

"Huh?"

"It's obvious you have a goal in mind. Everyone has one in life."

Kick crossed his arms. "It doesn't matter. My dreams are over...Or I didn't have any dreams to begin with." Kick stated in a somber tone.

The stranger sat next to Kick. "Nonsense. Dreams are what people desire the most. We do whatever it takes in order to achieve dreams no matter what. If we don't have dreams, then life is meaningless."

He placed a hand on Kick's shoulder. "I ask you again, what is your dream?"

Kick had a bitter look on his face. "My dream...Was to become the best Daredevil."

"...Really?"

"Yes! A Daredevil is someone who do dangerous stunts and live through them without any fear!"

"Why is that your dream?"

Kick looked down and clutched his blanket. "Ever since I was younger...Everybody I knew always had something I didn't. Talents, skills, personality, things I didn't have. Even my family are more talented than me. I don't remember how it happened, but at one point in my life I had realized that there was something I had that no else I knew had, the ability to show no fear. That's when I knew what I had to become in order to follow my dreams, and that was to be a Daredevil."

He had a small smile on his face, but immediately lost it. "But seeing how things are now...I realized I have been wasting my life chasing a goal that was impossible!"

"Clarence Buttowski, what if I were to tell you that I can save you from this fate."

Kick looked at the man in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"Your story has truly touched my heart. You remind me of me when I was younger. Your dreams shouldn't die here. But before I do what I'm about to do, answer this question. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to achieve your dreams?"

Kick took in what he said and processed the question.

"...Yes."

The hooded figure was smiling but Kick didn't see it. He walked to Kick's casts. He showed his arm. Revealing to Kick that he had golden rings on his arm. He placed his hand on his casts. A green glow emitted from his hand.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Kick exclaimed. But the stranger ignored Kick's shouting and continued what he was doing. It lasted for a moment until the glow died down.

"Done."

"Done?! All you did was have a freaking light show! Why the hell did you-OW!"

Kick didn't finish as the man punched one of his casts.

"Dude! Why the hell did you do that hurt!...Wait...I can feel my bones?!"

Kick shook his right leg and felt it move. The same thing happened to his left leg.

"No way...It's impossible!"

The stranger shook his head. "None of that, that word only belongs to people who fail to see the truth beyond their eyes."

"How...How did you do it?" Kick questioned.

"Let's just say I'm more of a doctor than you realize."

"Why? Why help me?" Kick was kind of skeptical.

"It's as I previously stated Clarence Buttowski, you remind me of my younger self. More importantly, your eyes show determination and perseverance for someone so young. In fact, I want to help you achieve your goal of becoming the best Daredevil."

"Not the best...Ultimate." Kick stated with a huge grin.

"Then it's settled. Once you get out of this hospital, we'll sure to meet again."

The stranger walked to the door and was about to open it.

"Wait! Who are you?"

"Ah. How rude of me. First impressions are everything."

The stranger turned around and removed his cloak.

"My name is..."

Present Day

"Kick honey! You don't want to be late for your first day back!" His mom shouted.

Groaning could be heard as a teen slowly got off of us bed and stretched his arms.

"Today's my first day as a Sophomore...Time to show everybody the new me." The now 15 year old Kick looked different. For starters, he had spiky hair that was mostly black with spots of red in it. There's also 3 locks of red hair in the middle. (A/N: Think of Grimmjow's hair style except its black and red.) And that his eyes were now red. Kick now stood 4 ft 11. Almost 5 ft.

The teen yawned as he walks to the bathroom in order to get ready for school.

Downstairs the rest of Kick's family where getting ready for their day.

"Is nobody in this house going to ask what the heck happened to Dilweed?!" The 19 year old Brad questioned.

"What's the matter Brad? Is it because Kick looks handsome now and you look...You." The 11 year old Brianna said to Brad.

"What?! Are you saying Dilweed is more attractive than me?!" Brad exclaimed.

"You said it, not me." Brianna said bluntly.

"Why you..."

"Now now. We don't want to start another fight so early in the morning. I'll be honest, I don't know what happened to Kick during his time at Summer Camp, but I do know that it made him happy. At the very least, we should support his choice, even if he does...Look a bit different." Betty told them.

"Morning."

Kick wore a black two-piece suit with an orange flaming coat tail on the back, including green colored wing-shaped emblems on the collars and a yellow zipper line which he unzipped the top which exposed his mysterious white fur on his chest. He also wore white gloves. The strangest thing about his attire was the wrists he wore which had a golden ring on each arm. And on his feet he wore what looked a fusion of shoes and skates at the same time. And there were also a golden ring on each foot. There was also the fact that he had black animal ears and a little black tail.

"Ah Morning Kick, we were just talking about you. Are you excited for your first day back at high school?" Asked his mom.

"Especially since you'll be attracting ladies with your new looks." Added Brianna as she winks at him. Which Kick rolls his eyes.

"I doubt it since Dilweed is dense when it comes to hot chicks."

"I will not take that from the guy who will probably waste his time in college chasing women to grope their tits."

"KICK!" His mother chastised.

Brianna snickered. "It's funny cause it's true!"

Of course Brad didn't take that lightly.

"Why you...Don't think because you changed your attire that you can get away with what you've said!"

"But it's true though." Kick bluntly said.

"THAT'S IT! I'VE BEEN WAITING TO POUND YOU ALL SUMMER! AND NOW IS AS GOOD AS ANY!"

Brad ran to Kick to punch him.

Kick closed his eyes as he uppercuts Brad, sending him to the living room and land on a couch.

"Brad!...You're in my chair!" Harold said as Brad slumps to unconscious.

"Wow, whatever happened to you made you super strong." Brianna said as she never seen Kick beat Brad in a fight...With one punch.

Kick smirked. "I guess you can say that."

"But don't let it get you the idea to pick fights."

"Don't worry Mom, I promise I won't pick fights...With weaklings at least."

"Kick."

"I'm kidding."

"Oh and one more thing. Please at least try to not have a repeat of what happened last year."

Kick sighs heavily. He hated being reminded of his previous accident. "Mom, I get it. That was the old me. This is the new me. I'll be able to make smarter choices okay?"

"Alright. I believe you, just keep an open mind got it?"

Kick got up and grabbed his stuff. "Got it."

"And be sure to make conversation with new people!"

"Yeah yeah!" Kick said.

"Did you hear? We're getting a transfer student!"

"I heard that the transfer student is female!"

"I heard that she's hot!"

"I heard that she's foreign!"

Kendall Perkins was ecstatic to hear this news.

Kendall had long blonde hair who had a green hair pin. She wore a pink and green plat shirt and wore a black skirt with some leggings.

'If someone transferred here, then that means that someone must've moved here to Mellowbrook! And that someone is a she! This is your chance to make a good first impression on! Most importantly...I'll finally have a friend!'

"Okay class! Settle down!" The teacher of their homeroom said.

The entire class stopped talking.

"Before we begin this new semester, let me inform you that we have a new student being transferred here today. She comes from a place called Knothole."

A student raised a hand.

"Ah yes, Mr. Hawkins?"

Reinaldo Hawkins is a 15 year old teen who has blonde hair, wear glasses, and wears a red tracksuit.

"Is this 'Knothole' a real place? Because I can assure that I've never heard of it. And if it was, it would be a city or state on the USA Map." Reinaldo stated while adjusting his glasses.

'Now that he mentions it...I've never heard of Knothole either.' Thought Kendall.

"I can assure you Mr. Hawkins that Knothole is a real place. If you have any questions, ask the new student."

The door to the classroom slammed open.

"Ah that must be her. Class, this is-Who are you?"

Kick walked into the classroom with his pockets in his hands.

The majority of the female students blushed at the mysterious teenager.

'Oh my god he's so hot!'

'Look at those eyes! You can get lost into them!'

'I want him to sit next to me!'

Kendall couldn't help but blush at the new kid. 'Holy crap! I don't know who that is...But he's so cool.'

"I'm sorry I don't recognize you. Are you also a new student here?"

The teen laughs at this.

"Come on teach. Just because I changed my looks doesn't mean I'm different! I'm still Kick Buttowski!"

The whole room went silent as the cool and mysterious individual was actually Kick Buttowski.

"WHAT?!" The whole room exploded into confusion.

Kendall dropped her pencil in shock as her eyes went wide at Kick's new appearance.

'HOLY CRAP I FOUND CLARENCE HOT! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!?'

Reinaldo had to remove his glasses and wipe it before he put it on again.

"Yep. That is Kick Buttowski." He said in a monotone.

"Oh my! I apologize Mr. Buttowski, I did not recognize you." The teacher said.

"That's fine. In fact I wanted to see everyone's exact reaction when they awe the new me." Kick said as he walked down to his desk while he had his hands in his pocket.

"That's Kick Buttowski?!"

"Why does he look so hot now?!"

"I want him as my gym partner!"

"You know you're gonna catch flies in your mouth if you keep it open Gunther." Kick said nonchalantly.

Gunther had short blonde hair that reached his neck. Had a little viking hat on his head. He wore a blue shirt and wore dark blue shorts, and wore leather boots.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU MAN?!" Gunther exclaimed.

Kick turned to his best friend and grinned. "Let's just say that my summer...Changed my life."

Gunther was shocked to see Kick smile so casually. As normally the Daredevil is self-centered. But it looked like Kick was...Actually happy.

"Dude. You look like a new man. Whatever happened definitely encouraged to get rid of that garbage jumpsuit you wore."

Kick stared at Gunther. "What do you mean garbage?"

Before Gunther could answer, the door opened.

"Is this my homeroom?" Said a 15 year old teen.

"Ah! You must be the transfer student!"

"Yes. Please let me introduce myself."

The individual brought many male lookers to stare at her and have hearts for eyes.

"Hello my fellow classmates, my name is Sally Acon and it is very nice to meet you."

The 15 year old teen had auburn hair, blue eyes, tan skin. She wore a black crop-top with white trim with an azure denim, crop-top vest. Which failed to hide her huge HH breasts. She also Black skintight shorts with white trim which showed off her toned ass. She also wore knee-high boots with white cuffs and white gloves.

"SIT HERE!"

"NO SIT HERE!"

"SIT NEXT TO ME!"

Sally looked at the chaos that was forming because of her presence.

"Oh my. Where do I sit?" Sally asked.

"Not to worry Ms. Acon, you can sit next to Mr. Buttowski." The teacher points to an empty desk nexts to Kick.

"Thank you."

Sally walked over to the empty desk and sat next to Kick. Much to the annoyance of the male students.

"NO FAIR!"

"THAT BOMBSHELL GETS TO SIT NEXT TO KICK?!"

"THAT JERK IS SO LUCKY!"

Kick looks at Sally and can't help but notice how pretty she looks. Not to mention the huge breasts she had made the Daredevil blush.

"My eyes are up here." Kick looked to Sally's face.

"Sorry...It's just that-"

"I know, I was cursed with having these huge things." She touched her melons and made them jiggle.

"I blame my mother for these genetics."

"Your saying your mom has a larger rack than you?!" Asked Kick bluntly.

Sally gasped at the question and glared at him. "Hey! That's very rude!" She avoids eye contact while blushing. "...But you're not wrong though."

Meanwhile Kendall was watching this interaction.

"Why would someone like her talk to Clarence."

"I know! That is so infuriating!" Kendall turned to Kick's devoted fan, Wackie Jackie.

The 15 year old was taller then Kendall, had dark brown hair, wore glasses, had braces. Wore a blue sweater and dark blue jeans.

"First I don't see my beloved Kick all Summer! Then he just shows up without saying anything!...Although I do like his new looks and clothes, a lot better than his old jumpsuit."

Kendall nods, at least she no longer saw Kick wearing that atrocity of clothes.

"And all of sudden some new girl from Knothole comes and just talks to Kick like she owns the place! Sure, she looks stunning and her breasts are bigger than yours!"

Kendall sputtered at what Jackie said. "W-WHAT?! Why me specifically?!" Sure Kendall's boobs were smaller than Jackies. Kendall was a B-Cup while Jackie was an E-Cup. It still didn't help when people made fun of her for her small size.

"I'm just saying, her boobs can eat yours." Jackie said.

"Welcome to Mellowbrook Sally. I'm Clarence Buttowski, but most people call me Kick." Kick reached out his hand.

"Sally Acon, nice to met you too." As Sally was about to shake his hand, she gasped at what Kick had on his wrist.

'Is that...'

Kick grabbed her hand and both did a handshake.

'Focus Sally, you're here to start a new life away from him, you'll investigate later.'

Sally smiled at Kick.

Gunther found the exchange weird. First Kick gave out his actual name, Kick wouldn't in a million years give out his real like that. And the real kicker is that he's interacting with a new student. Maybe it's because the transfer student was a girl? But then again, when it comes to women and girls, Kick could be quite dense. Speaking of weird, it's strange how he never seen Kick all Summer. He asked his parents were he went. They said he went to a camp for the entire summer. He'll get answers from his best friend.

The sound of the whistle can be heard through the gym.

"All right maggots! To start of the new school year, we'll be playing a game of Dodgeball!"

The majority of students groan except for Kick who was grinning like a mad man, and Sally who looked to the students in confusion.

"Kick, Ms. Acon, you two are team captains. Have a team of 5."

"Careful Sally, Kick Buttowski is Mellowbrook's Dodgeball Champion six years running." A student told her.

Sally looked to Kick who was stretching his arms and legs.

"I'm not scared." Sally smiled.

Kick had a team with Gunther, Jackie, Kendall, and Reinaldo. Sally had a team with 4 random students.

"Here are the rules! You get hit with a dodgeball, you're out! If the opposing opponent catches a ball, you're out! Now play!" The coach announced while whistling.

Faster than their eyes perceived, Kick grabs the dodgeball on the floor and immediately throws it at an unlucky student who didn't dodge in time and was hit face first with a dodgeball.

"YOUR OUT! 5-4!"

Kick and Sally's team was surprise at Kick's skills. "Woah! Since when did Clarence move so fast?!" Exclaimed Kendall.

"I agree. Compared to last year, it's like he's a whole new person." Reinaldo stated.

"GO KICK!" Jackie cheered.

"Dear god! There's no way we can beat Kick Buttowski!" Sally's teamate fearfully said.

The rest of her team shared those feelings.

"ENOUGH!" They all turned to Sally who looked determined.

"Listen to me everyone! There is no reason to be afraid! Just because Kick Buttowski is a Dodgeball Champion-"

"Six years running." Added one student.

"Doesn't mean he's invincible! Nobody wins all the time! If we focus and concentrate, then we will achieve victory an-"

"AGH!"

Sally looked to see another student hit by a dodgeball to the face.

"YOUR OUT! 5-3!"

Sally turned to see that Kick had threw another dodgeball while she was giving her speech.

"Hey! Attacking like that was low!" Sally complained.

Kick grabbed a dodgeball and spun it on his finger. "Hey don't hate the player...Hate the game." Kick said with a huge grin on his face.

"Okay team! We may be down by two. But we have two balls!"

Each teammate grabbed a dodgeball and threw them at Kick.

Kick stopped spinning the ball before he threw it at the two balls. The balls clashed with each other as the two balls ricochet off the wall to him. To everybody's surprise, Kick grabbed the two balls without even looking.

Some jaws dropped on the floor at what Kick did.

"DOUBLE OUT! 5-1!"

The two students groan before leaving the field. Now it was just up to Sally.

"GO KICK! KICK IS AMAZING! PLEASE MARRY ME!" Jackie shouted.

Sally looked at Kick in surprise.

"I'll admit Kick, you are skilled."

"Thank you."

"But don't think that you have the advantage just because I'm all alone." Sally smiled.

"It would be disappointing if it was boring." Kick said.

Reinaldo saw the ball Kick threw rolled to him. He picked it up.

"Buttowski, let me throw the ball." Reinaldo said.

Kick raised an eyebrow. "You sure?"

"Absolutely! I done the math. If I throw it at a precise angle, not even Sally Acon can catch it." Reinaldo smiled as he adjusted his glasses.

Kick waived his hands. "Do you man."

"Yes!" Reinaldo walked ran up to the line and slammed the ball to the ground...Only for it bounce a little and to roll slowly to Sally's feet.

"That...Was not suppose to happen." Reinaldo said.

Sally picked up the ball and had a dark smile and eyed Reinaldo.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Reinaldo screamed like a girl as he ran away, but to his misfortune, he was hit back in the head by the ball and thrown to the wall.

"YOUR OUT! 4-1!"

"Meh. It's not like he contributed to the team anyway." Kick said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Wow. Why don't you throw a ball at my heart while you're at it?!" Exclaimed Reinaldo as he got up and rubbed his head.

Kick smiled as he spun both his arms really fast and threw both balls at high velocity.

Sally's eyes widen at the speed of the balls. She cartwheeled out the way as both balls hit the wall. However, one of the balls ricochet from the wall and went to Kendall.

"Oh cr-"

She didn't finish at she was hit in the head by Kick's dodgeball and feel to the floor.

"KENDALL!" Reinaldo exclaimed.

"YOUR OUT! 3-1!"

"Ow...Is it that bad?" Kendall removed her hand from her head and discovered a red bump on her forehead.

Her teammates except Jackie and Kick gasp.

Kick whoever looked at Kendall and snickered a few time before laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Kick howled.

"IT'S NOT FUNNY! YOU IDIOT!" Kendall exclaimed.

Kick continued to laugh. Unaware that Sally grabbed a ball and threw to Kick.

Jackie gasps and saw the ball headed to her beloved.

"KICK!"

Kick turn around and saw the ball coming to him.

Time slowed down for Jackie as she knew what to do.

She jumped in front of Kick as the ball hit her in the face.

"YOUR OUR 2-1!"

"Jackie!"

Kick kneeled down to his fangirl.

"Jackie are you okay!? Speak to me!"

Kick grabbed her head.

"Kick...I'm so glad...You weren't hurt..."

"Why did you do it?"

"It's because...I...Love...Love..."

She faints...Then pears one eye open.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"Dude you know she's still alive right?" Gunther said.

Kick looked to Sally enraged.

"You've gone too far Sally! You can take out Reinaldo, you can even take out Kendall!"

"YOU TOOK ME OUT!" Kendall yelled with blank eyes and shark teeth.

"But when you take out someone who sacrificed herself for Kick Buttowski-"

"Again she's not dead man." Gunther stated.

"That's when I get mad!"

'He's fighting for me.' Though Jackie while blushing. Not before Kick drops her on the floor head first. He then grabs two balls and toss one to Gunther and grabs another one.

"Alright Gunther hears the plan. I throw two balls at Sally, before she relaxes, I need you to hit her with one of your throws." Kick explained.

"You got it man."

Kick nods. They both turn to Sally.

Kick threw a fast ball and Sally evades, the Daredevil threw another ball and Sally weaves out of the way.

Gunther stomped the ground as he threw the ball really fast at Sally.

Her eyes widen at the ball heading to her. 'TO FAST!'

Sally was taken off the floor as the ball slammed to her, and the velocity slammed her to the wall.

"Ooooohhhh." Many of the students winced at what happened.

"TAKE THAT YOU GINGER!" Jackie shouted.

"Yes! We beat her!" Kick exclaimed.

"Don't count your chickens before they hatch."

Kick turned and was shocked to see a smiling Sally on the floor with the ball in her hands.

The entire room gasped at what happened.

Gunther was entirely shocked that Sally caught his ball.

"YOUR OUT! 1-1!"

"Sorry man." Kick said.

Gunther walked out of the field.

Sally walked up to Kick with a ball in her hand.

"Oh how the table has turned Kick Buttowski." Sally mocked Kick.

"If you think removing my teammates is going to change anything then you're wrong."

"You know what?" Sally rolled the ball over to Kick.

"Why did-"

"To make things fair. Let's end this with one last throw."

Kick grinned. "I like the way you think."

Kick grabbed the ball. Both captains looked at each other and narrowed their eyes.

'There's no way I'm going to lose to him/her!'

Both teens threw the ball at the same time. The balls hit each other before they bounced back to the throwers at high speed. Kick and Sally each caught their balls.

"Wow...It looks like we have to-UMPH!"

Another ball hit Sally by her midsection.

"YOUR OUT! TEAM BUTTOWSKI WINS!" The room erupted into cheers.

Sally dropped the ball and looked confused. She looked at Kick and saw his foot raised. She didn't need to be a genius to know what happened.

"You...You kicked the ball while I wasn't looking?!"

"Yep." Was his simple reply.

"But where did even get that ball?!"

"It was one of those balls I threw at you remember. It bounced off the wall and rolled to my side. If you had been paying attention You would've noticed that there were two balls on your side."

Sally's eyes widen at the mistake she has made.

'No way! That means his entire plan was for me to focus on catching the ball while I failed to notice how many balls I have left on my side! I underestimated him.'

Sally walked up to Kick and raised her hand.

"Good game." Sally smiled.

"Good game." Kick shook her hand.

"And don't worry about losing. It's not like everybody can beat Kick Buttowski." Kick boasted.

"But you were pretty good out there. I never met someone like you who can play Dodegeball so well. Not even those chumps I play against during the championships are as good as you."

"Ha. I bet you only say to those you beat." Sally said.

"Not the pretty ones." This made Sally blush.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" Jackie shouted as she watched Sally talking with Kick.

"Can you believe this?!" Kendall exclaimed.

"I know...Kick is flirting with a girl!" Gunther smiled.

It was now Lunch.

Kick, Gunther, Kendall, Jackie, and Reinaldo were sitting in a table, eating their lunch.

"I said I was sorry. What more do you want from me Kendall?" Kick asked.

Kendall had an icebag on her head.

"What I want is for my swelling to go down!"

"If you didn't want the ball to hit you, then you should've dodged." Kick said casually.

"Kind of hard to do when...A BALL HITS YOU ON THE HEAD!" Kendall shouted.

Kick just laughs at Kendall.

"Lay off Kendall. Kick won the game for us! And that's all that matters!" Jackie said as she moves next to Kick and wraps an arm around his neck.

"Hello you guys!" Sally sits down next to Kick and Jackie hisses at her.

"What are you doing here?" Questioned Kick.

"...I go to school here now?" Sally answered.

"No I mean why are sitting at this table with us? I thought someone like you would sit with more cool people." Kick said.

Sally huffed. "Can't a person sit next to someone of her own choice?"

'Not someone like you.' Thought Jackie.

"Whatever, I don't mind." Kick said.

"Great. Now I realized I've never gotten to know the rest of you."

"I'll start! My name is Kendall Perkins. I'm an honor student with a high GPA!" Kendall boasted.

"I'm Reinaldo Hawkins. I'm the best tech expert in all of Mellowbrook.

"And also for being the opposite of athletic." Kick jabbed.

"Hey! I'll have you know I'm quite athletic Buttowski!"

"Explain last year then." Kick smirked.

Reinaldo looked embarrassed. "I did participate in that 5k run!"

"And you got last place." Kick jabbed.

"SCREW YOU BUTTOWSKI!"

"I'm Jackie, but everyone calls me Wackie Jackie."

'I wonder why?' Thought the teens except Jackie and Sally.

"I'm Kick Buttowski's #1 devoted fan! That being said..."

She leaned closer to Sally's face. "DON'T EVEN THINK OF HAVING KICK TO YOURSELF BECAUSE I'M GOING TO MARRY HIM AND-"

"That's enough Jackie!" Kick told her.

Jackie stopped talking and blushed. "Sorry Kick."

"My name is Gunther, Kick's best friend. And the only viking in Mellowbrook."

"Oh, how interesting. That being said, you have no last name?"

"I do its-"

"I think we need to focus on something more relevant." Reinaldo interrupted Gunther.

"From what we learned, you are from 'Knothole' correct?" Reinaldo deduced.

"Yes. It was my home before I mo-"

"LIAR!" Reinaldo points to Sally.

"L-Liar?"

"Yes! Ever since I heard the name, I've been doing a lot of research and not ONE thing has come up about Knothole! Nothing on the USA map! No city! It's not registered! So that tells me that you're hiding something Sally Acon and I know what your secret is."

"Y-You do?" 'Does he know my true origins?!'

"Yes, you Sally Acon are-"

"Shut up nerd!"

Kick slammed Reinaldo's head on the table.

"Ignore him Sally. Reinaldo may be a geek, but he's also interested in theories and shit no one gives a damn about."

Sally smiles nervously. "That's okay. I'm sure he didn't mean any harm."

"So it's true Buttowski, you have a new look."

All the teens turned to the #1 gossiper in Mellowbrook. Mouth has blonde hair, normal eyes, wears an orange polo shirt, and wears blue pants.

"Ugh. What do you want mouth?" Asked Kick.

"Well I heard from my cousin's sister's friend that you no longer look a red and white traffic cone. So I had to confirm it for myself and the rumors were true."

A tick mark appeared on Kick's head. "Did you have to call my old jumpsuit that?" Kick said with a strained smile.

"Well duh? You have been wearing that atrocity for god knows how long. You should be happy with your new threads."

Kick closed his eyes while he breathes in and out. "Okay. It's the first day and I'll allow those comments to slide. But insult my old jumpsuit again and I'll punt your ass out of Mellowbrook." Kick threatened as he glared hard at Mouth. And the stare made the gossiper nervous.

"O-Of course! I apologize."

Kick stopped glaring at Mouth and smiled. "Good."

'Wow that worked? I should intimidate people more often.' Thought Kick.

"Ah! You must be the new girl everybody's talking about. Sally Acon!" Mouth said.

"Yes, and-"

Mouth immediately shook Sally's hand. "I'm Mouth, 15, the best gossiper of Mellowbrook. I hear rumors and secrets and for the right price, I'll tell ya what you need to know. Speaking of which, let me tell you that are a delicate flower."

"Oh thank you."

'No way! Mouth is flirting with Sally! Kick was flirting with her!' Thought Gunther.

'Yes! Keep her away from Kick!' Thought Jackie.

"I can tell you've been alone for quite some time. Funny enough I'm single too. Since your new to Mellowbrook while I'm not I think we-"

"I'm going to stop you right there. I know you're trying to ask me out and the answer is no." Sally said.

"HA! Dude you just got rejected hard!" Kick stated while laughing a bit.

'DAMN IT!' Thought Jackie.

"Shut up Buttowski! What would you know?! You never had a relationship with a girl!"

"Dude you're embarrassing yourself. Quit bitching before you end up like my brother who's a virgin...Now that I think about it, you're halfway there already." Kick said with a smile on his face.

Mouth gasped at what Kick said to him.

"You..Your mean now! Whatever happened to you turned into a jerk! You jerk!" Mouth ran away in embarrassment.

"That wasn't very nice." Sally told Kick.

"It's Mouth, he's not my friend. So who cares." Kick said casually.

"Still you shouldn't be so rude to people like that. Don't you want people to like you?" Sally questioned.

Kick sighed. "Sally, it's obvious that you're new too Mellowbrook. So as someone who has lived here for 15 years let me say...Trying to appeal to others you don't know is a humongous waste of time."

Unknowingly, this offended Sally.

"And what's wrong with that?"

Kick crossed his arms. "A lot of things actually. Look at me, ever since I was 8. I preferred doing stunts because its something I know I'm good at. And sure, I've pissed off so many people that I lost track of the number. Sure there were times I got in trouble for these stunts and made attempts to fix my mistakes. Last year I learned something important."

"And that is?"

"There is no point in trying to fix something that's already broken. Especially if its someone that hates you and nothing you can do can change it. All I'm saying is that what's the point in getting someone to like you when that's already impossible. And I'm talking about the majority of people here in Mellowbrook. Not everyone though." He said in a monotone.

The gang was surprised at what Kick just stated.

Sally slammed the table hard.

"How?...HOW CAN YOU SAY SOMETHING SO COLD?!"

"Let me ask you a question. If you had a passion that you love that other people would hate? Would you still do it?"

"Of course not! Not if means that everyone you interacted with comes to hate you for something they dislike! If your parents tell you to stop! Then stop! If your parents told you to make friends! Then make friends! Because those are people who raised you! So you should do everything they tell you to do."

Kick put his hands in his pocket. "Let me guess?...You're some type of overachiever that believes in your own talents so much. But your parents don't like you that about you, but you decide it's better to make them happy than your own happiness. That makes me sick." This made Sally gasp.

"Oh no..." Gunther said to himself.

"He didn't..." Kendall added.

'Eat it you slut!' Thought Jackie.

"Excuse me?" Sally demanded as she looked mad. Kick smiled.

"You heard me. And to add even more insult to injury. You have a sibling, younger or older that your parents find more talented than you and in your own eyes, you're nothing but a disappointment to them."

Sally's eyes shrank at what Kick said. Without warning she grabbed Kick's jacket and bring him closer to her face.

"You have NO idea what I went through before I moved here! You don't know what I've experienced! How DARE you mock me for my past!" Sally shouted. Which caused the other students to look at the commotion.

"We need to do something before things get worse!" Gunther said.

"NO! Let it go on!" Jackie smiled darkly.

Kick felt a ball hit his head, causing him to fall. The problem was that Sally was in front him.

'Oh...Fuck.' Thought Kick.

Sally widens her eyes. Both teens planted their lips.

All the students in the room jaw drop at the spectacle.

'I CAN'T BELIEVE CLARENCE KISSED THE NEW GIRL!...WHY AM I BOTHERED BY THIS!?' Thought Kendall while blushing.

'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! KICK WAS SUPPOSE TO BE MY FIRST KISS!' Thought Jackie.

Reinaldo just adjusted his glasses.

'I don't know whether to be happy or concerned for Kick at this moment.' Thought Gunther.

Both teens removed their lips from each other and stared at each other. Both teens were blushing.

'That...Was...'

"DISGUSTING!" Both teens shouted at the same time.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Both teens looked to Mouth.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR MAKING FUN OF ME BUTTOWSKI!"

Kick and Sally knew that it was Mouth who hit Kick with a dodgeball.

"MOUTH!"

Mouth's eyes shrank as he turned to Jackie who looked like she wanted to kill him. A dark aura surrounded the fan girl.

"Your the reason Sally stole my first kiss from Kick! Now you're going to pay!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Mouth led out a girlish scream as he ran out of the classroom while Jackie pursued him.

The bell rang and school was over. Kendall, Kick, and Gunther we're walking out of school.

"I still can't believe Jackie was able to shove a dodgeball into poor Mouth's throat." Kendall said.

"I know, that was hilarious!" Kick stated.

"Clarence, Mouth had to go to the hospital!"

"And that's why it's hilarious."

"Too bad for Jackie though, heard she got suspended for an entire week." Gunther said.

"That's fine. If anything, a week without the fangirl is nice for me."

The three saw Sally walk past them.

"Dude, you should apologize to Sally." Gunther told Kick.

Kick looked shocked. "And why should I apologize to her?"

"Come on Clarence. What you said to her was horrible, even for you." Kendall said.

"If she can't handle the opinion of others, then that's her own fault not mine." Kick stated.

Gunther was taken back by Kick's new attitude. He was never like this, even last year during their first year as Freshman. Then he didn't see him for three months and suddenly he's like a whole new person.

"I get it Clarence, you're scared." Kick's eyes shot open and turn to a smirking Kendall.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, Daredevil. If you can't even apologize to a girl you just met, then its obvious you're afraid of showing your emotions around others."

Kick walked up to Kendall and looked pissed. "What your mouth Perkins. Kick Buttowski is never afraid!"

"Then prove it. Go to Sally and apologize to her." Kendall said with a smug look on her face.

"I WILL!" Kick walked away from Kendall.

Gunther turned to Kendall with questions in his head.

"I...Can't believe you just did that."

Kendall lost her expression and sweats immediately. "Yeah...I can't believe it either...He looked like he was going to murder me...Yet I can't help but get lost in his red eyes." She said the last part quietly.

"What?"

"NOTHING!"

Kendall ran away from Gunther.

"This day is becoming weirder and weirder." Gunther said as he followed Kick.

Sally was walking away from the school when Kick appeared in front of her.

"AH!" Sally said startled.

Kick had his pockets in his pants. "Listen, what happened in lunch..."

"If your trying to apologize...Then let me start first. I'll admit I could've handled that conversation a whole lot better than. And I shouldn't have caused a scene based on your own opinions about people. And for that I apologize."

"Apology accepted." Kick smiled.

"...Well?"

"Well what?"

Sally stared at Kick. "Where's your apology?"

Kick turned around and walked away. A tick mark formed on Sally's head.

"WAIT JUST A MOMENT BUSTER!" Sally placed a hand on Kick's shoulder.

"Hm?"

"DON'T HM ME! I JUST APOLOGIZED! SO ITS ONLY FAIR THAT YOU DO THE SAME!"

"Yeah...See here's the problem with that."

"What?"

"I don't care."

Kick turned around and proceeded to walk away again.

"DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME!"

Kick sighs. "You're not going to leave me alone aren't you?"

"I'm not leaving until you say sorry!"

"Sorry. There now leave me alone."

"Not so fast! That apology was weak! Do it again and say it like you mean it."

Kick was now annoyed. "No way! You said all I had to do was say sorry and I did! So why won't you take a hint?!" Kick complained.

"Because I was raised to uphold manners and elegance. By not giving me a proper apology, you not showing any respect to me whatsoever!" Sally stated.

"Wow, I didn't know, in that case...I still don't care." Kick turned around.

"Why you-WHAT?!" Sally was about to argue until Kick disappeared from her eyes.

"How did..."

"Hey Danger-Dude. Haven't seen ya for 3 months." Wade told Kick.

"Yeah, you know how summer camp be."

"Man just look at you, you're an entirely different person."

"Let's just say that last year made me realize that I needed a...New approach in life in order to become the Ultimate Daredevil."

"Wow Danger-Dude you seemed to be more happier ever since you recovered from your accident."

Kick looked surprised. "You...Heard about that?"

"Oh yeah. Heard you took a nasty fall and shattered both of your legs. Next thing I heard that your bones miraculously healed and you were out of the hospital."

Kick smiled nervously. "Guess you can say that I was lucky."

"I FOUND YOU!"

Kick turned to find Sally in the store with him.

"Sally?! How the hell did you find me?"

"Simple, I asked the people of this town your favorite locations and luckily this Gas Station is where you would be right now."

'Jeeze, she's more annoying the Kendall and I didn't think it was possible.'

"Oh Danger-Dude, who is this lovely lady?" Wade asked.

"I'm Sally Acon. My family just moved here to Mellowbrook recently. I started going to the same school as this jerk."

"Anyway, why are you here Sally?"

"So you can give me a proper apology."

"And I keep telling you, I. DON'T. CARE!"

Both Sally and Kick began to argue.

"Man, you two make a wonderful couple."

Both teens halted their argument as they turned to Wade with blank stares.

"WHAT?!"

"Admit it, you two have feelings with for each other!"

Both teens crossed their arms and turned away from each other.

"With him!? No way! He's a rude, self-centered emo!"

"With her!? Absolutely not! She's a high strung, little go-getter! Even if her tits are massive and she has a fat ass."

Those last few words made Sally's face turn red and slap Kick in the face.

"HOW DARE YOU!"

"You two are alright. Why don't I give you two something special for such a lovely couple like yourselves."

5 Minutes Later...

Both Kick and Sally were outside the Gas Station.

Both had two XL Cheetah Chug Slushies. Kick was slurping it down with a blush on his face.

"Ah, hadn't had this for a while. So glad Wade gave it to us for free."

"I'll admit, this...Cheetah Chug, tastes pretty good."

That's just the slushy version, wait until you try the actual energy drink.

"Wait. You drink these them?"

"All the time!"

Sally chuckles a little. "That explains Gym."

Kick shook his head. "Nah, that is all Kick Buttowski."

"I've been meaning to ask, why do you call yourself Kick Buttowski when Kick is just your nickname."

Kick stirred his straw. "Well, when I was four, I figured I needed a cool nickname. I went through so many nicknames, including...Buttman."

This made Sally snicker. "I'm sorry, Buttman?!"

Kick's face turned red. "I WAS FOUR ALRIGHT!...The point is, there was this one time I was bullied so bad that I wished to kick their butts. Then the name clicked within me, and Kick Buttowski was born!"

He tossed his slushy in the air and did his signature pose before catching the slushy in his hand while his eyes were closed.

"Man, your childhood must of been fun." Sally said.

"If you'd seen my life, it would've been anything but fun."

"Oh. You had a rough childhood?"

"More like...Chaotic. And yet...All that chaos made me who I am today. In some ways...I'm happy how my life turned out recently." Kick looked to the sky and smiled.

Sally stared at Kick for a moment.

'What is with him? It's like he has a tough shell on the outside, but on the inside, there's something warm...Like he's hiding his true self...Just like me.'

"Hey Sally."

"Yes?"

"Would you like to see something amazing?"

"...Yes?"

"Great! Get on my back!"

Sally stared at Kick for a moment.

"...Huh?"

"I said get on my back!"

"O-Okay." Sally didn't know where this was going but she complied anyway. She jumped up and clung to Kick's back. Though her boobs were definitely touching Kick's back.

"Oh wow...I can actually feel them." Kick said.

"Sorry if I'm causing you discomfort." Sally told him.

"Nah its fine. You're heavy, but you're not that heavy."

WHACK

"Ow! What the hell Sally?!" Kick complained.

"It's rude to comment on a woman's weight."

"Not my fault if you have a big ass." This earned him another smack to the head.

"Now I warn you, please don't scream."

"Why would I scr-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Both Kick and Sally disappeared from the Gas Station.

Sally was clutching to Kick as she saw that everything was moving too fast.

"You okay 'princess'?!"

"KICK! SLOW DOWN!"

"WHAT?! YOU WANT ME TO GO FASTER?! OKAY!" Kick pretended to hear as ran even faster as a yellow blur appeared behind him.

He was then running on top of a mountain and kept running until he reached the top.

"Whew! Never thought I could climb Dead Man's Drop by running right Sally!?...Sally?"

Kick turned and saw that Sally was shaking on the ground.

"Guess you aren't a fan of piggy rides huh?"

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"

Sally jumped up and leaned closer to his face.

"Careful, you'll kiss me again." Kick smirked only for Sally's piercing glare stopped him from smirking.

"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU HAD SUPER SPEED!?" She spoke with blank eyes and shark teeth.

"...You never asked." Kick stated.

Sally just facepalmed. "There is something wrong with you."

"Your not the first one who said that to me." Kick smiled.

"Can you just tell me why you brought me here?"

Kick points downwards. "This is Deadman's Drop. This is where I do most of my amazing stunts."

"Wait..." Sally walks to the edge of the mountain and is stunned upon how high they are.

"You mean to tell me you dive down the mountain?!"

"Sometimes with my skateboard, sometimes with a snowboard, hell this one time I decided to just ride down the mountain in a box."

"And you made out unscathed?"

"Not every time. But that is what makes it so fun!"

"Fun? FUN?! WHAT'S SO FUN ABOUT RISKING YOUR LIFE?!" Sally argued.

"Sally, I'm an aspiring Daredevil, my goal is to become the Ultimate Daredevil." Kick said.

"But why? Why chase such a dangerous dream?"

Kick sits down and stares at the entire town.

"We only have one life Sally. You never know what will happen tomorrow. We have dreams for the reason, to pursue them, and once we do, we'll feel a genuine feeling of happiness for accomplishing our goals. My reason for becoming a Daredevil is because I want to live everyday like its my last. Most importantly, I want everyone to remember me as the greatest Daredevil who has ever lived. That way when I die, I'll leave behind a legacy people won't ever forget about. That's my dream."

Sally just stared at Kick with ambiguity. She sat down next to Kick.

"Wow, the view is beautiful from here. I can see all of Mellowbrook from here."

"That's why I love coming here...Hey Sally?"

"Hm?"

"...I'm sorry for what I said to you back at lunch. You were right, I didn't know anything about you and you seem to have a different view of life then me." He said sincerely.

Sally blushed before turning her head. "I...Already forgiven you Kick...But thank you for giving me a proper apology though."

'Kick Buttowski...Even though there is so much of him that confuses me...He makes me feel...Normal.' Sally held her arm as she frowns.

"Kick?...There is something I have to tell you."

"If this is about the kiss? Because-"

"No no! Though...I'll admit kissing you felt...Nice."

Kick blushed. "Yeah...I feel the same thing."

"It's about what your friend Reinaldo talked about earlier...About where I'm from."

"Okay..." Kick didn't know where this was going.

Sally's eyes were shadowed. "The truth is...I'm a pri-"

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Sally looked confused and stared at Kick's direction. Both teens saw smoke coming from somewhere.

"A fire?"

"That's...Me and Gunther's hangout!" Kick said alarmed. Kick stands up and Sally did the same.

"I need to figure out what happened!" He turns to Sally. "And you're coming with me!"

Sally looked determined. "Absolutely. If your friend is in danger, then I'll be more than happy to help."

"That...And you have no idea how to get down from here."

Sally blinks as she realized Kick was right. "Oh yeah." Sally hops on Kick's back.

"Let's go back the way we came from."

Kick shook his head. "Sorry, but we aren't going that way."

"But how will we get down from here, there's no way off the mountain unless-" Sally widens her eyes while Kick smiles.

"No...Kick you aren't..."

"GOING DOWN THE SLOPE!"

Kick ran at high speed as he runs through the slope of Deadman's Drop.

"WHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYY?!" Sally screamed.

"Hey Sally! Look a ramp!"

"PLEAS DON'T TELL ME YOU'LL-"

"GO TO THE RAMP!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Kick ran to the ramp. He ran so fast, that the speed made Kick and Sally fly through the air.

"Wow. I never thought I could do this right Sally?"

"WE'RE GOING TO DIE!" Sally yelled as she cried anime tears.

"Just hold on tight." Both teens started descending.

'Let's go to Mellowbrook she said! Nothing ever happens there she said!' Thought Sally in turmoil.

"Sally look! A skate park!"

"AND HOW DOES THAT HELP US LAND?!" Sally roared out.

Kick smiled. "Watch."

A few people were doing some skateboarding.

"Dude, what's that in the air?"

"It looks like...A dude. No, that dude is carrying a chick."

"And the chick looks hot."

"It looks like they are coming in hot."

Before they hit the ground. Kick lands on rails as he grinds them down until he reaches the exit.

"That was gnarly."

"That dude is so lucky to have a pretty chick like her."

"And we made it!"

Kick skids to a halt as they were both at the overpass.

Sally immediately gets off of Kick as her body shakes again.

"So how was the ride?"

Sally turns her head to Kick and before he could say anything, she punches him in the face.

"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

"FOR ALMOST GETTING US KILLED!" Sally roared with blank eyes and shark teeth.

Kick clutched his face. "Come on...You have to admit that it was cool right."

Sally turned away and blushed a little. "Fine, it was cool."

She turns back to him. "BUT NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!"

BOOM

A loud explosion echoed the place. Both teens looked down at the hangout and were surprised at the seen. Concrete was torn, objects were on fire, and wood was destroyed.

Multiple grey humanoid robots with visors walked all over Kick's hangout.

"What are those things?!"

"SWATbots?! But how did they come to Mellowbrook?!" Sally said alarmed.

"AGH!"

Kick's eyes shrank as he recognized that scream.

"GUNTHER!"

Kick jumped over the railings and landed on the ground.

Kick saw more SWATbots surround Gunther. But something was different about Gunther that made Kick's eyes squint.

His best friend was still the same. The only differences were his hair that had weird dreadlocks, green eyes, and a weird zig zag tail.

"You never told me your friend was an Echidna."

"Ah!" Kick was startled by Sally who was next to him.

"How did you-Wait an Echidna, like those weird tiny animals with spikes?"

"No, you're referring to a hedgehog. They are spiny mammals that lays eggs."

"Hold up!...I thought only bird and reptilian lay eggs?"

"While that is true, some mammals lay eggs instead of giving birth."

"Name an animal besides an Echidna that lays eggs."

"The platypus."

"...The fuck's a platypus?"

"OW!"

Their eyes returned to Gunther who is dodging beams.

"Right! Gunther is in trouble!"

Kick did something weird in front of Sally. He literally turned into a ball and starting spinning. The noise matching a buzzsaw. Kick went through the SWATbots like they were bowling pins and stops in front of Gunther.

"Okay...So I was chased by robots and now a ball saved me. This can't get anymore weird."

The ball jumps up and Kick returns to normal.

"...I stand corrected."

"Gunther! Thank god you're okay man!"

"Kick that was you?!...Oh crap can you see this?!" He points to his dreadlocks.

"Yeah. Question, why is your hairstyle like that of the Egyptians?" Kick questioned.

"Now is not the time for questions Kick! We have to deal with Robotnik's SWATbots!" Sally intervened.

"Sally?!" Gunther exclaimed.

One of the SWATbots walked to the three.

Sally Acorn, Princess of Knothole and heir to Maximillion Acorn and Alicia Acorn.

Sally looked surprised while Gunther gasps.

"Hold up!...Your last name is Acorn?" Kick questioned.

"Dude! Did you not hear she's a princess?!" Gunther told him.

Sally sighs. "Yes. It's true. My real name is Sally Acorn, daughter of Maximillion Acorn, my father. Me and my mother moved away from Knothole after some...Personal drama. I hoped we wouldn't had to deal with Robotnik anymore, but I was sadly mistaken."

The robot scans Kick and Gunther

Clarence Buttowski, age 15, human. Gunther, age 15, Echidna. Our mission was to collect Sally Acorn. But I think our master will be more than happy if we roboticized the Echidna and the human.

Sally's eyes widen at what the robot said.

"GUYS GET OUT HERE! THEY'RE ONLY HERE FOR ME! IF YOU STAY, YOU'LL BE TURNED INTO ROBOTS!"

Kick crossed his arms.

"And why the hell should I leave?"

Sally stared at Kick as if he grew another head. "WHY?! ROBOTNIK'S CREATIONS ARE JUST AS DANGEROUS AS HE IS!"

"Kick, Sally may have a point. You can't fight them!" Gunther said.

One of the robots turned its arm into a blaster.

You have 5 seconds to comply or be taken by force. 5...4...3...2...1-

A yellowish green spear flew inches past Sally and hit the SWATbot, blowing him up.

Sally turned her head and her eyes shrank. Gunther's mouth jaw dropped at what happened.

In his hand, Kick was holding a spear that was made out of energy.

"If there's one thing you should know about Kick Buttowski, never tell him what he can't do." Kicks stated while smirking as he threw another spear at another SWATbot.

"How'd you like my Chaos Spear." Kick said.

Sally was intrigued. "Wait. Chaos Spear? As in Chaos Energy?"

Kick turned to Sally. "You know what Chaos Energy is?"

"HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO DO THAT?!" Gunther exclaimed.

The human used Chaos Energy, that makes him much more valuable to master Robotnik. Seize them!

Sally smiled at Kick. "I knew something was unique about you the moment I saw your inhibitor rings. Yes, I know what they are. And I believe I owe you answers too. Right now, let's defeat them."

Kick smiled. "Let's open a can of whoop ass for these tin cans."

The three of them turned to the SWATbots. Kick started running at them. The robots fired beams at Kick but the Daredevil avoided every shot. Kick jumped into the air and turned to a ball and smashed through one of the SWATbots heads. He turns and spins and goes through another SWATbot. He turns back to normal as more shots were fired at him. Kick jumped and did a backward somersault as he avoided each shoot. He then spun in the air and landed at Kick and smashed a SWATbot's head. Kick charged another Chaos Spear before firing it at three SWATbots and annihilating them.

Gunther charges at one of SWATbots. He raised his arm and punches through its metal body. He then saw mulitple SWATbots ready to fire at him.

"Oh crap." Before they could fire. Gunther used the SWATbot he punched as a shield when they starting fireing at him.

Smoke was created and the robots saw that Gunther was gone but the SWATbot was in pieces.

One of the SWATbots was then lifted by Gunther. He held its feet and head. Without strain Gunther yanked the bot in two.

"HAAHHHH!"

Gunther spun the remains like nunchucks. And tore about each robot. He went for the head, torso, legs, any bot he saw, was smashed into pieces.

Sally was surrounded by multiple SWATbots.

Sally Acorn, we have the edge in numbers. The most logical thing to do is to give up.

Sally smiled. "I could do that, but if did, I would be breaking the promise of someone who was once close to me. Until I achieve my dreams, I can't afford to give up."

All the SWATbots readied their blasters.

One SWATbot fired a beam and Sally leaned her back as her face narrowly avoids the beam.

Another bot fired a beam and Sally somersaults forward.

Yet another bot shoots at her and Sally jumps over it.

The robots decided shooting one of a time was pointless. So they fired multiple shoots at the same time. Sally surpringly was dodging each blast as gracefully as she could. Flips, cartwheels, somersaults. Eventually Sally spins in a center and poses. The SWATbots that fired at her were reduced to pieces of scrap.

"Wow, Mom was right. Ballet does help."

The three teens grouped back.

"Those bots were pathetic. Then again, nobody can handle Kick Buttowski." Kick boasted.

"What I don't understand is what were they doing here?" Gunther questioned.

"Yes. I know Robotnik is crazy, but not even he would be dumb enough to send this many Badniks to capture me."

"That's because I've never expected you to have help princess Sally!"

Sally's eyes shrank as she recognized that voice.

Three looked up to see a bald man with blue glasses, a pink nose, and a bushy mahogany mustache in a floating mobile machine. For attire, he wears both his tinted glasses and green-lensed goggles as headwear; and an elegant, red coat sporting two square metal buttons on both sides of the chest in gold. These buttons have white straps that run across the coat's sides to identical buttons on the back. The coat also has silver, zipper-like linings down the back, arms, and front, yellow cuffs, and two extensions on the front that have large silver buttons. In addition, he wears white, cuffless gloves on his hands and a pair of black pants with matching boots seemingly attached to them bearing circular plates on the both sides of the ankles and three square ones riding up the shin. He was in some type of flying mobile vehicle.

"Hello again dear princess." The man smiles darkly at Sally.

"Wait Sally...Is he.." Gunther said.

Sally now looked angry at the man. "Yes, that is Ivo Robotnik Kintobar."

Kick stared at the man. "Oh my god...You're fatter then I thought you be!"

Robotnik nearly face faulted.

"F-Fat?! How dare you! I'm not fat!" He argued.

Kick crossed his arms. "Really?! Then how come it looks like you can barely fit into your...Ride?"

Robotnik looked mad. "I'll have you know that I made this to accommodate for my size!"

Kick was snickering. "So you just admitted your fat!"

Robotnik was now seething red.

"Kick! You shouldn't say that to people! Just because his arms look like twigs, or that he can barely fit into his vehicle, or that he looks like he weighs 300 pounds!" Gunther reprimanded Kick, though that didn't help at all.

"300 POUNDS?! I'll have you know I weigh 290 pounds!"

Kick shook his head in amusement. "Dude, you're not helping your case."

Sally decided to cut this conversation short. "Guys, don't let his looks deceive you. He may look out of shape-" "HEY!" "But believe me, when I say Dr. Robotnik is a dangerous man. He is responsible for building countless merciless robots, destroying environments, turning organisms into-"

Kick snapped his fingers. "I got it! Instead of calling him Robotnik, let's call him Eggman. Because he looks like Humpy Dumpty!"

This drew laughter from Gunther. Sally tried not to chuckle, but couldn't resist how funny it was, so she succumbed to laughter too. Even Kick laughed at what he said.

Eggman had a huge tick mark on his head.

"THAT'S IT! I HAD ENOUGH OF YOU BOY! MY NAME IS IVO ROBOTNIK KINTOBAR! AND I'M GOING TO TURN YOU INTO MY MINDLESS ROBOT! AND ONCE I CAPTURE SALLY ACORN AND YOUR FRIEND, I'LL TURN ALL OF MELLOWBROOK INTO MY ROBOTIC EMPIRE AND THEN-"

Kick decided to shut him up by grabbing something. Kick pulled out a green jewel.

Sally's eyes widen at what Kick was holding.

"Is that..."

"HEY EGGMAN!"

"I told you my name is-" Eggman gasped at he saw in Kick's hand.

"Remember this Eggman! My name is Kick Buttowski and people know me as the Ultimate Daredevil!"

The jewel glowed in Kick's hand as he created another Chaos Spear. But this one was bigger than Kick's body.

Kick threw the spear at Eggman.

'The boy has a Chaos Emerald.'

The Chaos Spear hit Eggman and he was sent flying into the sky.

"YOU MADE AN ENEMY OF ME TODAY KICK BUTTOWSKI! I WON'T STOP AT NOTHING UNTIL I CAPTURE YOU, SALLY ACORN, AND THAT ECHIDNA! AND THOSE CHAOS EMERALDS TOO!"

We're Eggman's last words until he became a twinkle in the sky.

Kick turned to Sally and Gunther. "Guess you can say I...Scrambled his eggs." Kick said as he did his signature pose.

"Why are you smiling? Didn't you hear what he said? He is know after you and your best friend."

"If you think for one second that scares me? Then you're wrong. I'm not afraid of danger. In fact, I eat danger in the morning."

"You idiot I'm serious! Robotnik is not the type of man who gives up! He'll keep coming back until he gets what he wants. You've put yourself in danger...Because of me." Sally looked down in sadness.

"Because of me, you and everybody you care about is in danger. All I ever do is put others in harms way and now-"

"Are you a dumbass or something?"

"Huh?"

"When have I ever said that you're responsible? When did I blame you for starting a fight with that fatass?"

"But-"

Kick smiled. "You should know Sally, in Mellowbrook, friends have each others back. And...I consider you a friend. So just know, we're in this together."

Sally did expect this type of sincerity from Kick Buttowski, regardless, she smiled too.

"Thank you."

"Hey, I hate to interrupt this genuine moment, but I believe some of us have some explaining to do." Gunther stated as he eyed Kick.

"I could say the same thing." Kick added.

Sally sighs. "Look guys. It's obvious each of us has our own secret. But we're tired as it is to tell them to each other. How about this? On Saturday, we'll meet at this very spot and tell each everything okay?"

Gunther nods.

"Okay." Kick said.

"Great. Oh and Kick?"

"Hm?"

Kick failed to anticipate the kiss Sally placed on his cheek. "Why did?"

"Don't misunderstand. It does not mean we're dating, but a little thank you for helping me."

Sally waived to them. "See ya tomorrow!" Sally made her way out of the overpass.

Both Kick and Gunther looked at each other in awkwardness.

"So..."

"So..."

"How long were you planning on telling me?" Both asked in unison.

"I'll go first...When were you planning to tell me you weren't a human being but some type of alien?"

"Okay first of all, Echidnas aren't aliens...I think. And secondly, when were you planning on telling me that you had superpowers? And something tells me that camp you went too, wasn't really a camp."

Both teens stared at each other for a while before both of them sighed.

"Look Kick, I wanted to tell you, believe me I did. It's just that we Echidnas make sure that humans don't know about Angel Island."

"What's Angel Island?"

"A home for most Echidnas. But the city they live in is Echidnaopolis."

Kick gave Gunther a deadpan stare. "Really? Echidnaopolis? Did they draw that name out of a hat or something?"

"The point is, Angel Island is a place where Echidnas don't tolerate humans. And if a human did ever come to Angel Island with bad intentions..."

"Got the message."

"I was trying to find you and Sally. So I figured that you guys would be in our hangout. When I got there, I was attacked by Robotnik's bots and one of them shot my camouflage device."

Kick raised his brow. "I'll explain later. The point is, this is the real me. I'm sorry for not telling you earlier."

Kick shook his head. "Your still my friend Gunther. Sure all this time I thought you were a weird badass viking. But now you're a weird badass viking Echidna. Nothing will change our friendship."

"Thanks Kick. Now you can tell me why you decided to hide your powers."

"I never had these powers until 3 months ago. And you're right about me not going to camp. The truth is, that I spend my summer training with these powers."

"I don't get it Kick. Why didn't you tell any of us."

"Look, I promise I'll explain everything on Saturday alright? Just know...That I was tired of being my own weak self."

Gunther looked at Kick with sadness. "Dude...Is this about the accid-"

"IT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT ALRIGHT?! I JUST WANT TO BE STRONGER DAMN IT!" Kick yelled. He then realized he raised his voice.

"Sorry..."

Gunther smiled. "It's okay Kick. Look, I have no right to pry into your personal business. But just know, if something's bothering you, just ask for help. I'm your friend."

Kick smiled at Gunther. "Your right."

"Shoot! I have to help my family at the restaurant! Please Kick, don't tell anyone about this okay?! If my parents find out, my Dad will make my Mom kill me."

Kick motioned his mouth pretending to zip it close.

"Bye man!" Gunther ran off.

"Nothing left to do but go home."

The Emerald in Kick's hand glowed as it left a bright light. The light dyed and Kick disappeared.

It was now night time.

Kick was sleeping in his bed.

"Man, that was the craziest first day of school. And I'd had crazier days."

"I'm surprised your mental sanity is still sane after all that training."

Kick sighed as he got up from his bed.

"I'd really wish you knock on the door instead of coming in unannounced."

He was Echidna, with strange white hair, his forehead had a weird swirling pattern, and he had peach skin. His eyes were very strange as they had black scleras and yellow irises. He wears a silver belt with a crescent moon symbol on the buckle and a black cape with horizontal white and black stripes on the inside, which is held by a golden clasp inscribed with an identical symbol. His forearms and lower legs are covered with black guards or sleeves adorned with rings, while his hands and feet are wrapped in bandages.

"Ah, but where's the fun in that. And that fact that you sensed my presence means that your training has paid off."

"You know Finny, you complain whenever I call you a stalker, this is one of the reasons why."

"At least it's better than you calling me a pedophile."

"Sorry, but you have those vibes."

"And it's Finitevus. You've known me for a year now."

"What do you want Finny? I know you didn't just come here to see me."

"Now that hurts Clarence. Can't your mentor come and check on his pupil?"

"How come you never told me you were an Echinda?"

"...You never asked." Finitevus deadpanned.

"Well I just found that Gunther and his family are just like you."

"Interesting."

"Is true though? What Gunther said about Echindas killing humans on Angel Island?"

Finitevus sits next to Kick and places a hand on his shoulder. "You need to understand Kick that not all humans are good. Angel Island has been known for many things to happen in the past. And most invaders on Angel Island were humans who wanted to raid its treasures and do much worse."

"That I understand. But then I've been thinking. Are there other Echidnas in Mellowbrook besides Gunther? If so, do they not like the people here?"

"I don't want to say this, but you need to now. Back then, Echidnas saw humans mostly as inferior creatures. We Echidnas have are more evolved than you humans. More intelligent, more strength, even more virility."

"Wait, virility?"

"Let's just say Echidnas are more...Genetically gifted then you humans."

"If you didn't teach about sex, then I would be lost."

"My point is that before you were born, there was this huge animosity between Echidnas and Humans. And that was even before Angel Island became a floating island."

"ANGEL ISLAND IS A FLOATING ISLAND?!"

"That's a story for another time. Back to what I saying, Echidnas believed themselves to be a superior race. Any human that invaded Angel Island would be killed on sight. They wouldn't take in prisoners. But it wasn't like that, let's just say an incident changed that...But today those laws are more lenient, but that doesn't mean that they aren't Echidnas who want humans dead."

"Wait, what about Echidnas that aren't born on Angel Island?"

"Ah, well that depends. If an Echidna that's born Earth chooses to go to Angel Island, they can. Others can choose to live their lives on Earth."

"Wow, this is a lot to take in."

"Everything when it comes to Angel Island is a lot to take in my dear boy. Now, you remember your goal right?"

Kick nods. "To collect all 7 of the Chaos Emeralds."

Finitevus pats Kick on the head. "Good boy. You already have one, you need to hunt six more."

"Finitevus...Thank you, for helping me get rid of my old weak self." Kick smiled.

The albino Echidna hugs Kick. "Just remember Kick, you are like a son to me."

"Should...I tell Gunther the truth? I hate that I've been lying to him for an entire year."

"I understand he's your best friend. But not even he would understand I'm afraid."

"Yeah..He wouldn't understand what I went through in order to be stronger." Kick frowns.

"Well Kick, I believe it's my time to go." A giant ring appears in Kick's room and the albino Echidna jumps into it, leaving Kick.

Kick laid down on his bed.

"Fintievus...Out of everyone I've known my entire life...You're the only one who understands me."

Sally was in her bed. Thoughts about what happened today.

'Kick Buttowski...Why can't you get out of my head...Why do I have this desire...To help you?...I can tell, something happened in Mellowbrook that made you see people differently...I'm going to help you! It will be my mission to help you see that strangers are just friends you haven't met yet.'

Omake

Kick and Finiteveus were at the overpass.

"This Clarence is called a warp ring. You just put your thoughts of the location in mind and it will take you anywhere."

Finitevus threw the warp ring and it became a giant floating ring.

"Cool. Can it transport items?"

"Yes."

"Can I have one, I want to...Experiment with something."

"I don't see why not."

Kick smile was huge.

Later...

Brad, Harold, Betty, and Briana were in the living room when a loud knock was heard.

"I'll get it." Harold said. Before he could open it, the door was blown out of its hinges and crushed Harold.

"WHERE IS HE?!"

The angry Hilda stomped into the house, crushing Harold.

"Woah! Hilda!...You just wrecked the front door!" Betty stated while her husband was moaning in pain.

Her eyes turned to Brad.

"YOU!" Hilda points to Brad.

"WHAT DID I DO?!"

"THIS!" Hilda pulls out a paper and hands it to Brad.

"Dear Hilda, I stole all your pies and hid it in my room love Brad? WHAT?! I DIDN'T WRITE THIS?!"

"Then how come you signed your name at the bottom?!"

"Okay! Even if I did steal all your pies, which I didn't! Why would I write my name and the crime I didn't even do?!"

"You tell me!" Hilda said.

"Look! I'll prove to you it wasn't me! I'll show you my room and I promise you there won't even be a slice of pie in there." Brad told her.

"Fine."

"Oh this will be good." Brianna said as she readied her phone.

Betty, Brianna, Brad, and Hilda were in front of Brad's room.

"Once I open my door, It'll prove to you once and for all that I, Brad Buttowski hasn't taken your-"

As soon as Brad opened his room, a flood of empty pie pans escaped Brad's room. Some even falling downstairs.

"...Pies..."

Betty was shocked, Brianna was amused, and Brad was scared now.

"Brad! I'd expect this from Kick, but you?!" Betty stated.

"But...I...How did...There's no way...I WAS FRAMED!" Brad pleaded.

"Yeah, kept telling yourself that." Brianna said as she started recording.

Hilda cracked her knuckles as she smiled at Brad. That smile terrified him.

"Time to pay..." She said in a sweet but deadly tone.

Outside the house, a loud girlish scream was heard all over Mellowbrook.

Kick was laying in the backyard on his hammock.

"Ah. Music to my ears." Kick said while eating a slice of pie.
