"What's going to happen now?"

"There were still students in there..."

"Olly, get over here please. I want you to stay away from there, okay?"

Olly walked over to his teacher. Her bun had fallen down, causing her ruby red hair to float just above her shoulders. She wrapped her arm around him.

"Looks like you get out of school for the rest of the year, huh?" She joked, trying to lift the mood. "Still, who would do such a thing?"

Olly looked at the burning building. The fire reached into the sky, and the embers sent smoke tumbling into the clouds. Olly coughed. His best friend, Larry, still hasn't left the building yet and Olly didn't want him to die in there. Olly pushed the teacher's arm away and dashed inside.

"Olly, wait!" She was stopped by another teacher.

Olly moved away from a falling, flaming wooden plank. Covering his mouth, he ran into his classroom.

"Larry? You in here?"

"Yeah, I'm here!"

"Are you okay?"

"No, I'm stuck."

Olly went over to where Larry's voice was coming from. Larry was pinned down by a flaming plank. "A little help please?"

"Don't worry, I've got you!" Olly grabbed the plank and pulled at it. The piece he grabbed snapped off, but Larry was still trapped.

"Forget it, Olly! You need to get out of here!"

"No way!" Olly argued, trying to now push it off of the Koopa. "I won't let my friend die!"

"You're right." Larry turned the best of his ability and helped Olly with pushing the plank off. It slid off just enough that Larry was able to wriggle free. "And I won't either!" He picked up Olly and ran out with him.

"Olly, Larry!" The teacher ran over to them. "You're both alive! I was so worried!"

"Thanks to Olly." Larry said.

The other teacher came over. "Hopefully this won't happen again."

"Yeah, I hope so too."
