Just an idea I had watching the third season episode "Wedding Bells".
Enjoy!
Once she gets off the dance floor with Geoffrey, Angela makes eye contact with Tony. Seeing his window, Tony goes to her apologizing for his actions from earlier.
"I just thought you'd want someone," He states, "less like me. More sophisticated."
Shaking her head, Angela says with a smile, "I think you're plenty sophisticated."
Tony ducks his head a little, smiling just as the band starts up again. Hearing the familiar chords of a Frank Sinatra song starting up, Angela asks if he wants another dance.
"I'd love to," Tony answers ushering Angela to the dance floor. For the second time that night, the pair talks as they dance. They talk about the kids, their feelings, and finally weddings.
"You know what Angela?" Tony asks once he twirls Angela and brings her close to him. "Let's do it. Let's get married right here."
"Here? Now?" The blonde asks surprised as she nearly trips into the next dance sequence.
"Why not?" Tony asks looking at her seriously. Angela stays quiet a moment before smiling. Unsure what makes her say her next words, Angela answers, "Let's go find the preacher."
Giddy, the pair go off to find the preacher who is talking to Fred and Ginger. Getting the preacher's attention, Tony and Angela tell him what they want once the older couple leaves. Raising an eyebrow, the preacher asks them if they are serious and know what they are doing.
"Absolutely," Tony answers as Angela answers simultaneously, "Yes."
Fifteen minutes later, Tony and Angela are married and the only other person who knows is the preacher. Facing each other after their kiss, Tony and Anglea smile happily at each other neither believing this is real. Tony finally breaks the silence by asking, "Mrs. Micelli are you ready to walk back down the aisle?"
"Anything you say, Mr. Bower," She answers still in awe that she is actually now married to her friend. Sneaking back into the reception, the couple notices the crowd has definitely dwindled. Seperating as not to cause suspicion, the adults decide to check on their respective child. Finding the children on the dance floor, Tony and Angela decide to find a table to watch the kids dancing.
"Where did you two sneak off to?" Mona teases when she finds her daughter and Tony later in the night still sitting at the table laughing.
"Nowhere, Mother," Angela replies trying not to give herself and Tony away. Mona raises an eyebrow before sauntering off adding, "I'll bring the kids home."
Exchanging glances, Tony and Angela question if Mona just gave them a chance to sneak out. Taking it, the newlyweds find their belongings and head out the door.
Back at the house, the couple collapses on the couch with Angela immediately toeing her shoes off.
"'These feet will never dance again'," Angela announces as she massages her right foot. Taking it, Tony says, "'Yeah, let me."
Angela smiles as her now husband starts to massage her feet.
"'So let me ask you'," Tony begins as he continues to massage Angela's foot, "Are we gonna tell anyone about this marriage?"
Nodding, Angela replies, "'Uh, probably.' They deserve to know."
"They should, yeah. But, you know, maybe we can keep it quiet for a while?"
"Make my mother guess?" Angela teases. "I can live with that."
They are quiet for only a moment until Angela practically moans how good Tony is at massaging her foot. This comment immediately makes him stop and move Angela's foot to where Angela has her legs crossed. Smiling , almost awkwardly at each other, the couple almost leans in for a kiss when the door opens. Turning at the sound, the couple finds Mona come in practically dragging Jonathan inside with Samantha straggling behind. Standing, the parents immediately go toward their children.
"They were non stop until we pulled onto our street," Mona announces as Tony picks up Jonathan to carry him to bed.
"Thanks for bringing them home, Mother," Angela states watching Samantha follow Tony upstairs.
"Anything for two love birds," Mona answers, her eyes narrowing at her daughter. Rolling her eyes, Angela exageratedly drawls out, "Mother."
"What! You can't tell me the looks and words you two shared tonight didn't mean anything."
Blushing, Angela dismisses the comment saying, "I'm going to go check on the kids."
Heading upstairs, the blonde finds Tony leaving Sam's room.
"The kids out?" Angela asks. Nodding, Tony answers, "Out like lights. I just checked on Sam. How's Mona?"
Shrugging, the blonde answers, "Same as always. Says there's something between us."
"Maybe she's right?" Tony flirts causing Angela to flirt back, "Maybe she is."
Leaning in for a kiss, Angela ends up being the first to pull away stating, "I wish we could continue this."
Humming, Tony answers, "Me too. You think we could get away?"
"We'll talk," Angela promises before telling him she is going to check on Jonathan one more time.
"Alright," Tony answers. He almost tells her not to be long before remembering that nothing will happen while the kids are so close to their rooms. Stopping at his bedroom door, Tony calls Angela's name. She turns as he says, "Night, Angela."
With a smile, Angela answers, "Goodnight."
Entering their respective rooms, Tony to his bedroom and Angela to Jonathan's room, the couple both wonder if their marriage was a bit premature.
