Hello all, it has been years since I've looked at this, and now I am rewriting this.

I don't own Naruto or assassin's creed.

Konoha's Phantom

Ch.1 The rebirth of a creed

-Konoha, nine years after the kyuubi attacked-

Hidden in a massive forest sits a village called Konoha. Overlooking Konoha is the Hokage monument. Hiding in the forest behind the large stone monument is a small redheaded boy, who was covered in mud.

The boy is Naruto Uzumaki. He had just escaped from a mob of angry, drunken villagers that had burned his home to the ground.

'Well that is a new record, it took me six minutes to lose those idiots. Though now I have no home to go back to.' Young Naruto thought as he walked through the old forest.

'Stupid villagers, they refuse to see the truth that I am not what's sealed inside me. If I were I would have fox ears and nine big ass tails attached just above my ass. Plus if I was the fox I would be big enough to sit on the village and crush half of it. Though the thought amuses me I wouldn't waste my time to destroy the village.' Thought Naruto not really watching where he was going.

–CRACK-

"Oh shit." Was all Naruto said as the ground he was standing on collapsed and he fell into a dark pit.

Naruto landed hard on the ground and it took him a second to regain his bearings. "What the hell is this place?" the young boy asked to no one really as he sat up and looked around to see that he fell into a mass grave site. Everywhere there were tombstones with a strange mark on them. (The assassin's symbol)

Naruto walked past grave after grave until he found a single grave that looked newer than the others. On it was the same symbol and another mark he was familiar with. It was the Uzumaki crest, his crest.

Naruto went to touch the grave, and as soon as he made contact a seal formula sprang to life and glowed so brightly that Naruto was temporarily blinded.

When the light died down, he noticed that he was no longer in the graveyard, he was in an old looking room that looked to be in disrepair. Naruto also noticed the same symbol that was on every tombstone, was here too.

Naruto soon heard the sound of footsteps along with a cane.

The person who Naruto saw was an old man dressed in an old white cloak (assassin's outfit), had single wrist brace, had short grey hair, and dark blue eyes.

"So the one who stumbled upon the order's grave site is the child of the Red Death. Welcome to the order's hideout young Uzumaki; my name is Samuel."

"Thank you, you know who my father was?"

"No, I knew your mother. I trained her actually, in the ways of our…. Well my order as I am the only one left in the Elemental Nations that I am aware of." said the old man sitting down in a nearby chair.

Naruto also sat in a chair that happened to be nearby, but I fell apart as soon as he sat in it.

"Ah, I'm sorry for breaking your chair." Said Naruto as he began to pick up the pieces.

"It's alright, this place has seen better days. Most of this place is in disrepair and I am too old to fix most of it. Though I have a deal for you young man."

"What would that be old man?"

"Help me with tasks around this old place and in the village, and I will give you a better place to stay and train you like I did your mother. Does that sound good to you young man?"

"Seeing as I no longer have a place to stay and have nothing better to do, I accept your deal old man."

"Good, good. Now I will show you where you are staying, and then you can help me gather supplies to fix this old place up." Said Samuel, slowly getting up from the chair and beckoning the young redhead to follow him down a long hallway.

They stopped at a door at the end of the hall, and when the door was opened, a cloud of dust assaulted Naruto's nose which caused him to sneeze.

"No offence old man, but when is the last time you cleaned this place?"

"It's been years since I have been able to clean the whole compound, and to be honest I sometimes forget to clean a whole section of this place for a few months. I apologize for the mess, but I figured you would want your mother's old room."

Naruto was silent for a while before he entered the room. It was small, but had a bed, desk and a closet… to be honest Naruto felt that it was more cozy than his formally empty apartment. "This is perfect old man, thank you." said Naruto.

"Now, did you bring anything with you?"

"No, anything I had was lost to me when my apartment was set on fire."

"Well that wont do, I suppose the first thing we need to do is get you all the necessities, clothes, toiletries, training weapons, sealing equipment, and books."

"Where will we get all of those items old man? It's not like I can go into the village and buy all those things as I will get thrown out of any store I walk into."

"I suppose you're correct, on account of your furry friend, it would be best that you are not seen for a while, I will go and get everything you need."

"You know?" asked Naruto now a little fearful.

"Of course, it's the best worst secret in the village…. Well that and your mother used to hold your furry friend. Now, while I am out, clean this place up, and I will start your training when I return." Said Samuel.

Naruto waited to the old assassin to leave and began to clean out the room. When he woke up today Naruto had no idea that he would meet anyone that would show him the kindness that Samuel would give him, and to be honest, Naruto liked it.

-AND WE END HERE-

The next chapter will be much, much longer, and mostly rewritten. I've looked back on the chapters that were there originally. On a side note the Poll for my other story is open and can be found on my profile.
