A New Adventure
Chapter 1: Finding out
As I board the Hogwarts Express, I notice Harry Potter's godchild snogging his on and off girlfriend at a secluded compartment. Megan Prince was fond of Teddy since the beginning of their journey at Hogwarts but did not start dating till fourth year. They were set to be sweethearts, get married, have gorgeous babies, and die together. They are a power couple; Megan walked the halls like she was Moses and the sea of people parted at her feet. Teddy Lupin was a god. However, snogging was the only form of intimacy in their relationship, Megan wanted to wait because she was muggle-born. Students assumed that when they weren't snogging, they were shagging.
Teddy Lupin actually lost his virginity around third year with a latina girl two years older than him – Marisol De León. She was known for taking boys virginities and taking advantage of them. She taught them where and how to touch a woman. She was easy to score, she didn't really have any friends. Around Teddy's fifth year she was kicked of out Hogwarts for coming on onto a teacher.
While searching for an empty compartment to settle down, I found my friends – Brooklyn and Adrianna. Brooklyn McGuire was a force to be reckoned with, when wasn't she modeling in Paris she was hooking up with random muggles. However, Adrianna Scott – Ade for short was the girl next door, yes, she fell in love with her next-door neighbor who also happened to be a student at Hogwarts.
We found a nice empty compartment and began to tell each other what we did over the summer. Typically, we would spend the summer together as the three musketeers, weekends in Paris, days at The Burrow but this summer was different. Adrianna was moving into a new house and Brooke landed a full-time modeling contract while I had a life-changing summer.
Brooklyn told us that for a change she didn't sleep with anybody to land her job because she wanted to get this one on her own. She did take a short vow on abstinence from French guys, but abstinence was no longer needed since she basically had a fuck buddy in Hogwarts – Jason.
Ade moved to be closer to her grandmother and she was heartbroken when she learned that this was the end to the escapades with her bf during the night, no more him sneaking into her bed, or seeing him through the window.
"Enough about us. Tell us what you did all summer," said Adrianna.
"Yeah, because you didn't even send one bloody letter!" exclaimed Brooklyn while they both grabbed my hands. I looked over at them and my whole body was almost shaking, I didn't want them to know. They couldn't know.
"You know, studied for my O.W.L.S." I lied.
Both Ade and Brooke looked at me, with a pondering look I might add. They were very confused since I rarely studied on time. I overall am a good student, but I still procrastinated once in a while. Soon enough the topic died on us.
"Anything off the trolley?" was heard through the door while the trolley lady pushed her cart full of snacks. Brooke quickly got up and opened the compartment door and said, "a pumpkin pasty please", Adrianna looked at Brooklyn disapprovingly while she said "Oh please it's just one! In France I couldn't find any.''
"Then don't complain when you're fat!" exclaimed Ade. Brooklyn's body was a temple, and she couldn't mess with her formula. She wasn't anorexic but she watched her weight. Ever since she became a model, we promised her that we would help her maintain her weight – that meant no dessert, working out at least two times a day and so on.
"Speaking of weight, Vic looks like she gained a few pounds" criticized Brooke. I was always on the slimmer side, no matter what I did I couldn't gain weight. Something about being a veela or something my mother exclaimed once. No comment for her poor critique. I liked how I looked.
Then the girls and I became very quiet, Brooklyn was reading a magazine with her on the cover on it and Adrianna went to find her boyfriend. Soon Brooke would be alone because I had a prefects meeting.
Soon became now and I stood up to make my way over to the meeting. I was looking through the window while I was walking when I ran into someone. "I'm so sorry" I said to no one in particular then I noticed his hands. My mind wondered into my summer ren de vous, those fingers tracing my bare back, his lips on mine, the most intimate moments. Us – entangled in his sheets, how I was the forbidden fruit. I quickly shook my head and ran while leaving a blue haired boy confused.
Flashback to summer
"Okay guys, while me and your mom are gone Teddy and Victoire are going to be watching you" said the one and only The Boy Who Lived. The kids were super excited to learn that they will be watched by the coolest kids in town according to them. Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny will be gone a month due to a necessary vacation. They were going down to the Caribbean to spend some alone time because shagging in a house where four nosy kids live was kind of hard to do without one of them walking in. Teddy was always the one walking in on them.
The youngest – Lily and me were making cupcakes the muggle way in the kitchen to celebrate having a parent free month. Lils carefully was frosting the cupcakes while I was washing my hands. Teddy and Uncle Harry were chatting while Aunt ginny got the portkey ready. My aunt and uncle hovered me over there so we could talk without the kiddos eavesdropping.
"You know, I trust you with my house and my kids, right?" asked Uncle Harry while me and Teddy both nodded. "Good, now Teddy, I'm trusting you with Victoire."
About now I was very confused. Sure, I mean I trusted Teddy with my life no questions asked. But what was my uncle talking about?
"I know you guys are young and you have those unbalanced teenage hormones…" rambled Harry Potter. "Just say it babe" added auntie Ginny.
"Say what?" I finally asked. What were they yammering about? I thought.
"Okay… under no circumstances I want you and Teddy doing funny business"
"What?" I asked so confused. "It's not like we are going to have a party and burn the house down" I added laughing.
"He means a different kind of funny business Victoire…He's saying that he doesn't want us to have sex in his home" said Teddy with a hint of red and a serious look.
My eyes almost popped out of my head. Merlin was this awkward. "Oh, my Merlin! Ummm, with all due respect me and Teddy aren't dating. He has a girlfriend'' I rambled on and on.
"We're off right now and I'm exploring other fish in the sea right now."
"Okay, Teddy just don't date our Victoire. We really have to go but have fun and if you do end up shagging my niece just wear protection, okay? Ummm I restocked your bedside drawer with condoms, like the ones Harry found in your trunk" rambled my aunt.
"Ginny, you weren't supposed to say I found those! You just basically told him to do the opposite of what I just said" started arguing Uncle Harry. Aunt Ginny blew us and quick kiss and with a blink of an eye they were gone.
I could feel my face red. I could feel his face red too. My mind started picturing Teddy's abs and his body, I quickly shook my head and looked at him. He was my first crush but his relationship with The Weasleys was very confusing to a 6-year-old Victoire. Teddy was untouched property, sure we were close, but it was never more than a hug, a playful shove or other than piggyback rides. Teddy was untouchable.
James and Albus were playing a mini quidditch match with Teddy while I gave Lily a bath. Lils was the easiest little girl except when she really wanted something. Right now, she wanted me and Teddy to read her a muggle bedtime story before bed. I told her that Teddy and the boys had gone to play, and they needed to shower first.
I peeked over the boys' room and soon they were jumping in bed and falling asleep. Teddy saw me and made his way over to me before closing the door. "Lil asleep?'' I shook my head.
"She insists we read her Cinderella before bed.''
"What are we doing now? Playing house, huh?'' laughed Teddy.
What he didn't know was that I wanted to show my enders for him. He stuck his hand out to me and said, "Let's go read the princess her story." I gracefully took his hand, following Teddy through the corridor and found Lil's bedroom.
My princess asked to be tucked in, in the middle of Teddy and I to read her the story. I felt like I was living a dream while listening to Teddy read, he was a knight in shining armor, and I was the princess looking for true love, his love. As Teddy finished reading, Lily was asleep.
We left her bedroom, going our separate ways for the night when Teddy whispered to me "Harry didn't have a chance to set up your room, I can leave you my bed if you want…"
"What about you? Where will you sleep?"
"There's a couch in my bedroom."
"That wouldn't be fair…how about you sleep with me? For old time sakes."
That's how our ren de vous started. We would lay in bed together and just talk hours upon hours after tucking Lily in. After he graduated Hogwarts, he wanted to travel and see the world, he promised he would write but that was in two years from now, I wanted to be focused on the present. Enjoying my moments.
However, one night things got a little too spicy. The kiddos were visiting the Weasleys at The Burrow and they decided to have a night full of surprises. It all started when Teddy broke into Harry's liquor cabinet, "C'mon Vic don't be a prude. Chug it" said Teddy as he handed me alcohol. I took sip after sip. We cleaned out the entire Potter's muggle alcohol. Heaven forbid we would actually take wizard alcohol then Uncle Harry would notice. Teddy and I were so drunk, we were out of it.
We started we casual play of "truth or drink" to keep it classic between us. "Rumor has it, you have a crush on me Weasley" "Truth" I giggled. "Now, Lupin... rumor has it you also have a crush on me" "I won't deny it"
"Then kiss me" I whispered. He looked at me in a lustful way, we both leaned in, and our lips met. It wasn't just a kiss it was a continuous snog that was never ending. His lips were so soft, Teddy was a good kisser. I kept on wishing that this would never stop.
His arms traced under my summer dress and before I know it, he was pulling my dress off. He instantly took his shirt off and started taking off his pants. We were both semi-naked, only our underwear covering us from what will seem like an unforgettable night. He started to take my bra off when he suddenly stopped and looked at me. "It's okay" I whispered. And that July night while Magic Works from the Weirds Sisters was playing Teddy Lupin and I made love.
The next morning, I woke up alone entangled in sheets, his sheets. I got up and went to the nearest bathroom, I looked at myself in the mirror, my shoulder and neck were covered in subtle love bites, and I traced my lips. Flashbacks of last night came flooding in, I wondered if we have always been this in love forever.
We spent the whole summer in an escapade, snogging in deserted areas of the manor, spooning each other and having Lily sleep between us when she got nightmares. It was like we were the only two people in the world, no problems, everything was perfect. He was mine and I was his. That is until the last day of summer.
Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny were coming home today. Which meant no more rugrats and no more Teddy. Teddy and I were lying in bed when he said "Victoire, you know we can't tell anyone right?" "What do you mean?" I asked confused. "Vic, I have a girlfriend at school you know that"
"Right, Megan I almost forgot about her." I snapped and propped myself up and started throwing my stuff in my bag. Teddy went over to be and grabbed my hands "Victoire, don't be like that..."
"Like what? You want me to act like we never happened? Fine. You and me never happened. You never took my virginity, and you never went against my uncle's wishes. Right." I snapped once again.
"As far as I'm concerned, we never happened. Don't ever talk to me because clearly you have bigger issues, you cheated on your girlfriend. We'll see how she likes that." I said with tears in my eyes.
"Vic, don't"
"You don't get to say "Vic, don't" Teddy. You have no right." With that I was gone. I hadn't seen him since that day until I crashed into him today.
Present time
I spent the rest of the train ride alone after my prefects meeting. Both Ade and Brooke were off somewhere, Adrianna was probably with her boyfriend while Brooklyn was looking for prey. We soon arrived at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I got up from my seat, I was trying to get my bag out of the metal thing that holds it when "Need some help, Vicky?" asked Megan. "I'm fine really" I tried to say. Megan poked her head out and said "Hey babe? Need some help over here" Sure enough Teddy appeared at my compartment.
"Victoire" said the person who I was in love with and had betrayed me.
"Theodore" I said in a serious voice.
"Okay, I'm officially weirded out. What's going on between you two?" asked Megan.
"Nothing, I really don't need help with my bag but if you do insist. But I'm actually doubting if he's strong enough, actually Megan is it okay if I borrow Teddy here after the feast? I said with a mischievous grin while watching Teddy struggle to get my bag down.
"Sure, wouldn't want to keep you two of out of reach. By the way, Vicky I could use some of your tumbling skills on the squad this year.''
"I burned my pom-poms third year" I smirked. Ever since he started dating her, I refused to participate in the things she did. I loathe Megan Prince but pretended to be her friend for his sake. She knew me and Teddy were inseparable since she hopped on the Hogwarts Express for her first year.
The Great Hall was impressive more each time. I loved the ceiling, it reminded me of the sky, the moon and the stars. I always swore I would get a moon tattooed on my side boob. Better that than a butterfly above my bum.
Speaking of tattoos, me and Teddy talked about getting a matching wave tattoo in our right thigh during the summer if he and Megan ever ended. But joke's on me, Megan and him are still attached at the hip.
I spotted my friends and found them seated. I started filling up my plate because I was suddenly hungry. I had no idea what the conversation was, but I found myself listening.
"So yeah, we freaked when I hadn't gotten my period," said Adrianna. "You had a pregnancy scare?" I asked.
"Oh Vic, it was more of my period's irregular type of thing. It came next week, when we are sexually active, it just delays it sometimes. But truth is there is not party without a hat."
"A hat? That's what you call it? Ade that's super embarrassing, it's more embarrassing that saying contraceptive!" exclaimed Brooklyn.
"A hat? That's a new one" I giggled.
"Victoire, don't be clueless. Condoms. They always use one or no sex. I personally don't like the feel of them so I either know when I'm not ovulating or actually use my birth control" explained Brooke. "Yeah, well Brooke's a whore" "Said the one who doesn't know when her period's coming"
"You can actually feel a condom?" I asked. "Yeah, babe." I stood up and said, "I actually have to go, I'll see you guys soon." I found Teddy and made signals to meet me outside, he grabbed his stuff and met me outside. I pulled him close to me and said, "We need to talk". I guided him to the Gryffindor Common Room, and we sat on the couch. "When you and me, when we – did you, did you use a condom?" I asked.
"Victoire, you said that it was okay. I thought you - I'm sorry. I didn't wear a condom"'
With tears in my eyes, I said "It was my first time, I meant that it was okay". He closed his eyes and asked, "Are you – okay? Do you know if-"
"I don't know" I whispered. He hugged me while I kept crying. Me? A prefect? Pregnant with Teddy Lupin's child? I'm screwed. Disgrace and dishonor. Worst of it? If I was actually pregnant, it couldn't be kept a secret. The walls in this place could hear, soon the whole school will know.
He was trying to comfort me when Megan walked in, "What's going on here?" she asked confused. I dried my tears and pushed Teddy out of my reach and tried to say, "Go to your girlfriend before the green monster comes out". Teddy looked at me like I was crazy, he just heard me say that I might be pregnant, yet I push him to be with his girlfriend. "Oh, c'mon Vicky, there's room for two on Teddy's shoulders, right babe?" Megan waited for confirmation.
"Actually, I was thinking of taking Vic here to the hospital wing. Bad shrimp."
"Um, I'm fine. I'll figure it out tomorrow, Ted. Gotta practice those skills for Meg here" Truth was, I wasn't fine.
