The Beginning: It all started with a weekend marathon of Shadowhunters and watching TMI: City Of Bones. One special request later, and here I was, writing this little plot bunnie. Certain story points will be heavily influenced with the things discussed that weekend and other things will be all my own. This pairing was the main request, so if you're not a fan of Malec being turned into a Triad, this might not be for you.

Canon: I will be following the Shadowhunters Episode Timeline, with my own scenes and interludes written in to break up the events we've already seen and loved. Some information from the books will be utilized in regards to practices, history, etc.
AU Elements: This will be Original Character centric, as my main character and the POV that you will read from mostly, is a character I've created. I will also have a handful of other original characters added in, though their roles will be smaller. Though this is a Twin/Sister!Fic, she will not be just stealing Clary's lines and going about the episodes in her shadow. The OC will have her own take on the Shadow World, her own abilities, and her own experiences. I will also be pulling in knowledge/elements from other supernatural/mythical sources, etc.
Update Schedule: I am hoping, now that I've edited this, that my muse will be a present part of myself and that I will at least be able to update once every two weeks. There is a ton of material to go through, now that it's come to a close. I'm annoyed with myself because there were some elements of my outline that have actually shown up in the show in the third season, but because I didn't get my writing out there, now look as if I just twisted what they've put out. But, sometimes real life just gets in the way. And things don't always stay on task. So I make no promises! Just sincere hopes.
Shipping: A big shout out to CoffeeJunkie33 who came up with Malecbeth for our main pairing! I'm still in love with it. It's even the title of my Spotify Playlist for the couple.
Creative Licensing: Alec's eyes are still blue in this, fight me.
