The Beginning: I've fully given up on trying to curb my desire for starting new ideas. I don't know rather, as readers, you should be happy about that or groan in despair that I have started yet another story. Let's see how it goes. Insert evil giggles here.

Summary: She always knew that she would go to any length to protect those she loved, even from themselves. Still, petitioning Death to unravel the very threads of time itself without taking a look at the fine print was unlike any had done before. Advisable or not, it hardly matters to Persephone Potter. With her brother's lifeblood smeared across battle worn hands, the last surviving witch of her bloodline is willing to sacrifice whomever and whatever she must to bring those she loves back to the mortal realm. But one should remember that when bartering with Death himself, the deity will always come out the victor, regardless of which of his gifts you bear. Which is how the Potter Heiress finds herself waking up during the year of 1944 in a world where things may appear the same, but are entirely different. More than one budding Dark Lord walks the hallowed halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Albus Dumbledore seems less trustworthy than she remembers, and there are names scrolled across her ribs in a shimmering emerald hue. Names that simply cannot be. Secrets and lies, blood and magick, scandal and intrigue. Persephone's walk through time did not come without ripples and more than one pair of eyes rest upon the mysterious witch, her magick fierce and war in her eyes. Can she save those that she gave up everything for? Or will the strings of fate and the threads of time disintegrate before her eyes.

Canon: I'll be totally honest, I'm going to be taking a lot of Canon themed events and twisting them to my little heart's content...again. This is set during an era where there is some basic knowledge of the time, a whole heck of a lot of fandom created canon, and plenty of room for creativity. Plus, there will be some magickal elements here that are not the norm. If you're looking for something the completely follows canon, this isn't for you. Some who die, survive. Some who survive, die. It's a big huge mess, and you're going to love it. Maybe.
AU Elements: This story is a TimeTravelAU! and features a twin sister for Harry Potter, so if that's not your cup of tea, don't take a sip from the mug. There's also going to be an emphasis on some traditionalism and pureblood traditions, the story will lean more toward the gray and dark side of magick, and it's not for major Dumbledore fans. Some characters that you're used to loving, you might not love so much by the time I'm done with them. Some that you typically hate, may just steal your heart.

Creative Licensing: Above you'll see a list of who I picture for each of the cast characters and it will be updated as the story goes along, and each new character is introduced. You do not have to picture the same as I do, this is just a visual aide for myself, and others! Additionally, I've kind of had fun with the character names. I know some have established canon middle names, or even first names, that I've changed or twisted a bit. But I just like playing with names sooo...
Beta: Unfilled at this time. I'm unsure on rather or not I'll be taking a Beta for this story. I don't currently have someone that fits the bill, but the HP World is such a huge undertaking, especially when I'm flipping the script.
