Who am I? You sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart. If somebody told you it was a happy tale, if somebody said I was just your average guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied. But let me assure you, this, like any other story worth telling, well then let me tell you my name is Dante... Dante Vermillion. That was the name I keep hearing in my dreams every time I go to sleep and the last thing I hear when I'm awake, I always wonder why, but over time I learned the truth. Let me tell you the tale of how I became The Hero of Magnolia. To understand that let's go to where I make my mark, and it starts with a girl. Name Erza Scarlet, the woman who changed my life
Present-day, 8:45 A.M., on the outskirts of Magnolia
Ah, Magnolia, it was a quiet and beautiful town. Next to a beautiful and quiet forest
We see a 10-year-old boy running and jumping from a tree branch to tree branch as his dragon father who is a purple dragon was flying above him
"Remember Dante, to defeat a foe you must use your surroundings to your advantage even if it means fighting dirty!" the dragon said as he unleash a flame blast at the forest, At first, it was a blast but once it touched a tree branch, it completely destroyed about 50 the trees
Dante looked at it and quickly used a branch to leap into the air. He used his magic on his feet to leap on the fire blast as he hopped on the blast before he was in the air and screamed
"Elemental Dragon Wind Scythe!"
The attack slightly pushed the dragon back. The dragon smiles slightly at this
Dante smiled as he closed his eyes and felt the wind, the trees, the animals, and everything around as his hair turned yellow then golden
"DRAGON FORCE!" Dante shouted as his attire changed. He had scales on his left cheek and his left body and arm but he had golden wings
"Impressive. You are growing Dante," The purple dragon said with pride
Dante smiled as he looked at him and is ready to fight again
Dante gets into his fighting stance, "Come on Dad! I'm still ready to fight! I want to be the next king of the dragon and I'm going to be a kind king! YOU HEAR ME! A KIND KING OF DRAGONS!" he shouted as he wanted everyone to hear his goal. The purple dragon smiled as he had hoped that his dream could have been possible if it had been a long ago. But now it will be harder but with Dante, he could be the key
"ELEMENTAL DRAGON LIGHTNING! STYLE DRAGON BOAU ZAKERUGA!" Dante shouted as a large dragon-shaped manifestation of lightning with enormous fangs that emit electricity and a shining red beam that came out of his hands. The attack flew out and wrapped around his father
The dragon tries to avoid the attack but the attack is hard to lose
Dante smiles as he could see victory close at hand. He looked to see his father fire a purple large beam at it. Destroyed the attack and was about to destroy him, but something in him snapped as he closed his eyes and opened them quickly to reveal blue eyes and aimed his left hand
"Now then Kaaaamaaa..hammmaaahaaaaaaaa!" Dante launches the attack as it hit the dragon
Spyro was sent flying but managed to deflect it to the other side completely shaking it to its core
Dante in the meantime passed out and transformed back to his normal self sleeping
Spyro smiles at his son, "You getting stronger Dante,"
Dante smiled as he lay down on the ground and with his arms spread out. He was drooling and trying to eat a tree as he was thinking of a meat
"Do you think he's ready?" A voice came out of the woods to reveal Yamato
Her current outfit is a sleeveless white garment with a diamond-shaped design on both sides and an indigo, wisp-patterned bottom half. She wears a pair of red hakama pants and sandals, and, much like Oden, wears a large purple and white nio-daisuki behind her back
"Yamato. It's good to see you. And yes, he's ready but he needs a protector and," Looks at her, "You are his first friend when he arrived here so I trust you." Spyro smiled at Yamato
Yamato smiles and nodded, "Of course, father. I will protect him till my final days. Began the ritual to seal yourself inside him and I promise when the time is right I will tell him the truth,"
Spyro nodded and closed his eyes
Huge white light filled the area as Spyro filed into the air and then into Dante. As for Yamato, she de-aged herself to be his height and age but only one year older and one inch taller than him. She slept closer to him and kissed his cheek as she snuggled close to him
"I will protect you to the end of time," Yamato says as Dante smiled and sleep closer to her
Little did they know that in the late future, Dante and Yamato would be known as the strongest dragon slayers in Fairy Tail and they would be the dragon king and dragon queen
The next day
Dante was the first to wake up. He stretched his arms in the air as he yawned loudly and smiled. His hands touched something flat and a little soft springy like
"Huh?" Dante turns his head around and saw he is squeezing Yamato's breast
Dante shrugged and lifted his hand and blushed red. He looked around and couldn't see his father. He looked around some more around the area and sniffed the air. Only to find him gone, he looked down and cried softly in a fetal position. He laid there for hours as he was alone. Yamato started to wake up and noticed that Dante is crying and rushed to him
"Dad... is nowhere to be found. I can't find him nor smell him," the hybrid said in a sad tone
Yamato pulled him into a hug She had a sad smile and kissed his cheek as her grip tightens
A few days later
It was as quiet and normal as they could get. sure they are close but Dante was quieter and distant. He missed his father deeply but looked into the air and tried every day to find a trace of him but nothing.
All he found was animals and a stream nearby
One day, on his walk he found a girl with red hair who was passed out and bruised. When Dante went to smell her, he was met with a growl coming from the girl.
Dante looked at her and smiled as he slowly picked her up and walked towards the home that he shared with Yamato
Thanks to Yamato's vast knowledge from the dragon and her quiet and pictures of homes that the dragon showed her, she was able to make one just for them a love nest she called it
Dante groaned but smiled
Dante slowly placed her on the bed and chanted, "Wind Dragon and Fire Dragon Secret Art: Art Of Recovery," He said quietly as a green and red energy came out of him and to the girl. She slowly opened her one eye to see what looked like fairy dust falling on her. Slowly, she was feeling better as she could feel her bruises being erased
The girl is shocked by the boy's kindness.
Dante smiles at her
"Please don't move. This requires you to be still but you can talk if you can. My name is Dante Vermillion and this is my home. I'm 11 years old and I have to say your chest is a little banged up as well as your eyes," Dante said while examining her injuries
"I-i'm E-erza Scarlet," the girl known as Erza introduced herself
Dante smiles at her and looks at her, "Nice to meet you E-erza," He focuses on his healing. He could see her body returned to normal before the cuts but the eye was permanent, "Okay Erza, your injuries are gone, but the eye is permanent. But I think I know someone that can help you with that. She is the old lady that lives in the East Forest. And her name is plow," Dante is trying to remember her name but is having a hard time
"You mean Porlyusica right, Dante?" Yamato asked as she came into the room
Dante smile and looks at her, "You sure take your time Yamato. And here I thought you would have left me to die,"
Erza looked at her. Wondering who she is
"Who is your new friend?" Yamato asked looking at Erza
Dante smiled and looked at her, "She said her name is Erza and I found her beaten up. So that means we're married right?"
Erza was now red in the face as she was not ready with a boy she just met
"W-what!? M-married!?" Erza said in shocked
Yamato sighs at Dante, "True but that's only if she's a dragon princess. Look at her, she's human-ish but she does have a scent I have not noticed in a while. So maybe? At least get to know her first then you can mark her," She said so casually
Erza turned paled at this. Why are they talking about marriage so casually?!
Dante looked at her and smiled
"Just kidding Erzy! But really she is my friend. I found her passed out and she needed help so I healed her. Now, I'm taking her to the old cranky woman who lives in a tree," Dante explained to Yamato
"I see. It's nice to meet you Erza," Yamato said
Erza blushed and nod to her. She slowly stands as she twirls her hands
"N-nice to meet you too," Erza said in a shy tone
Dante and Yamato smiles
"So Erza, why were you so bruised up?" Dante asked
Erza froze up at this question. She remembers the Tower of Heaven. How could she not? She was a slave and a prisoner there. Sure, Dante considers her a friend but they just met each other and she is not sure if she could share her story with him.
Dante smiles but gets hit on the head by Yamato
"You don't have to share if you want. But please stay with us and tomorrow we will head to the doc," Dante said in a soft tone
"O-okay, I will stay with y'all," Erza said
Dante was so excited as he leaped into the air and smile wide. He looked outside to see a deer.
"DINNER!" He shouted in cheer as he ran out and chase it
Erza looked at him like he had grown a second head.
"You get used to it," Yamato said.
Erza looked at her confused and looked at Dante as he was chasing the animals
"You know Erza... You don't have to worry about what happened. We know a thing or two about pain," Yamato said as she could recall some moments in their lives of pain but some were training and some were about their dragon
Erza looks down with a gloomy look, "Trust me, it's better if I don't talk about it. So can we please drop it?"
Yamato gives her gentle a rub on her shoulder, "Sure. Later tomorrow, I'm thinking of taking Dante to a place called Fairy Tail,"
Erza's eyes widen at this, "You two are going to Fairy Tail too?"
Yamato was shocked and a little startled by her outburst.
"Yeah. Dante's power is growing but I'm afraid that I can't help him between human interaction besides you and you saw that he was trying to marry you. And that's kinda my fault," she says with a chuckle
"Oh, that explains a lot," Erza said, she liked Yamato so far
Yamato chuckles
"I kinda have a crush on him and I kinda told him that if he helps a girl out it's the woman job to marry him" She chuckles about it thinking it was a joke but she saw the face Erza was making and changed to a nervous laughter
"What?" Erza is dumbfounded about this
Yamato puts her hands up, "In my defense, I'm older than I look and I... used a de-aged spell to make it easier to build a relationship and well," Looks at Dante as he was now cooking the meat, "I don't think he notices or he's clueless"
Erza sighs, "I think it's both"
"Are all boys like that or is it just him?" Yamato asked
Erza looks at her and sighs as she is brought back to the tower where her friends were still there and Jellal
"I want to say it's just him but I don't know," Erza said with a smile
"ERZA! YAMATO! I BURNED THE FOOD BY ACCIDENT!" Dante shouted in a panicked tone
Yamato and Erza looked outside. And indeed, that he burned the food and the fire is spreading and quickly.
Dante chuckles. He took a deep breath and let out an ice breath, "DRAGON STYLE ELEMENTAL ICE DRAGON ROAR!"
The ice quickly puts the fire out
Dante chuckles and sees by his actions to put out the fire he accidentally froze the forest and the food
"Oh. Ummm maybe it will thaw?" Dante said in an unsure tone
Yamato facepalms while Erza is amazed at Dante's power and magic
Erza stared at him with awe. She see him laughing and slowly walk towards them as if there was someone next to as if her eye was seeing the possible future. A man with a built body but not bulky. He wore some weird gi but on his head was a crown but it wasn't a crown but the wings, his hair was white, his eyes were clear white, he had a scar on his right eye and he looked happy
"Dante Vermillion is just amazing... that level of power and control at a young age," As she slowly reached the ice that was blown by the wind and closed her hand, "I want to be that strong..."
Yamato heard her and patted her head, "With enough training, you can be,"
Erza looked at her and smiled at seeing her and looking back at Dante she had a goal. To be that strong and maybe.. she could say that her life wasn't a waste and maybe she could save her friends
The next day
Dante and the girls made their way to the Porulysica's hut, as they made their way Dante wanted to run but Yamato said that erza wouldn't keep up. So they have to walk at a slow pass for the time being which Dante whined as he was now walking by their side. He was training to keep his skills sharp
Erza is happy that she made two new friends. She didn't feel so lonely now
Dante leaped up into the air and looked to see if they were close. They were nearly close as Dante sighed but a thought came to mind as he landed on the ground he held Erza bridal style
"Don't let go of me Erzam" Dante said softly. Erza blush and hold onto him tight
Dante pressed his foot into the ground and sped the walk into a full-blown run. He leaped into the trees and jumped from bush to bush on top of the trees. For a split second, Erza looked at Dante and blushed as this was like a story about a prince and a lonely girl
Yamato was following Yusuke
She smiled as they were growing close but a little eye twitch escape her as she felt a little jealous, but smiled as she knew that she would be the first to get a kiss from her crush
"Okay with this speed we should make it before that old hag has her tea so maybe we'll reach it by the afternoon today!" Dante said loudly
Everyone nods at this
Meanwhile at the tree
A very short man and the pink-haired lady who is Porulysica were having their tea
"I have to say the guild has flourished over time, but I have the strangest feeling that something is happening but I don't know why,"
"I see," Porulysica said while sipping her tea
The tiny man looked at the window and looked straight ahead as to the midget it looked like a projectile heading straight for them
"OLD LADY!?" Dante asked
"What the-" The little man didn't get to finish his sentence as Dante crashed into the building
Dante chuckles as he looks at them and sees erza clutching on him tightly
"Pink hair old lady...I need your help,"
"What is this time you brat?" Porulysica asked in an annoyed tone
"Umm you see," He gently shoves erza in front of her, "My friend lost an eye and knowing you do weird freaky stuff and being a dragon. You owe me
Porulysica sighs, "Fine, but you are paying for the damage,"
Dante chuckles and turns his attention towards the tiny man, "So who's the midget?"
"The name is Makarov,"
"Well, midget... the name is Dante Vermillion and this is my future wife Erza and Yamato,"
Yamato and Erza blushed at this while Makarov brow raised
"Aren't you a little too young to worry about marriage?" Makarov asked
Dante just shrugs, "I don't see the problem but you raised your eyebrow when I said my last name. Why?"
"Your last name is the same one as the first master of the Fairy Tail guild," Makarov said
Dante think about it for a second and says, "I don't know my mom or father, but my dragon raised me and he's a former dragon king,"
"I see," Makarov said
"Is there a way to find out if my mom is her?" Dante asked the old man
"There might be a magic spell that could help," Makarov said
Dante smiles, "Okay cool. Yamato could you help midget with the preparation?"
Yamato nods and walked towards Makarov
Dante in the meantime was looking at Erza and Porulysica
"So old lady, is it possible to fix her eye?" Dante asked
Porulysica takes a look at Erza's eye and examined for a while
"I'm afraid not, Dante," The lady said with a sigh
Dante was worried about that as was Erza but something inside him click
"What if you gave her my eye?" Dante suggested
Erza eyes widen at this while Porulysica isn't surprised by this
"It could work, but are you sure you want to lose your eye?" Porulysica asked
Dante looks at Erza and smiles
"For a while, I want to be that sure but seeing her taken her whole view of the world... it's not right. Besides, I'm sure Yamato can help me out with the eye situation for me but I'm sure to take my eye and give it to my wife,"
"Dante..." Erza is touched by this
"If that what you want," Porulysica said
Dante looks at her face and smiles. He makes some hand signs making his left-hand glow green and right-hand red as he places a red hand on Erza's missing eye his the other hand on his eye.
"Know this Erza, you will gain the eye of a dragon. Making you be able to break a spell cast on you and your strength with being increased by a little,"
The whole area glows bright yellow for a few minutes until it stops as removed his hand from erza
Erza look in the mirror and saw her new eye
"How do you feel?" Dante asked as he took a look at Erza
"I feel fine," Erza said as a smile slowly spread on her face, "Actually more than fine. I feel great!"
Dante smiles and turns to look at Porulysica, "Hey old lady, do you have a special eye?"
"Let me look," Porulysica said
Dante waited for a fake eye. As for Erza, she was loving her new eye
"Ah here it is," Porulysica pulled a glass eye from her drawer
Dante takes a hold of it and places it in. He uses his magic and unknowingly uses his ki to make it special
"Thanks, lady," Dante said
"You're welcome. Now, are you brats done here?" Porulysica asked
Dante shrugged, "Just waiting for Yamato and the midget,"
"Well, it was good seeing you Porulysica, but I have to get going," Makarov said
"Wait, old man, what about the spell?" Dante asked
"It is done, Yamato," Makarov said as Yamato put her hands on Dante's forehead
Dante was stopped as he felt as if he was being stuck in one place
"It will only take a couple of minutes," Makarov said
Dante nods, "Ok. So tell me, if my mother is really her...what happens to me?"
"Then you find out who your mother is," Makarov said
"Okay then," Dante said
Yamato smiled at him as he was going to figure out his mom but looked at erza
"A dragon eye," Yamato said as she take a good look at Erza's new eye, "How does it feel Erza?"
Erza looked at her and smiles
"Like the whole world isn't prepared for me," Erza answered in a gleeful tone
Dante smiles as he looks at his eye and smiles wonders what he can do with it
He touches it and his eye shots into symbols for different magic
"That interesting," Dante said
Dante could feel the power coursing through it and it made Dante smile
"How do you feel?" Yamato asked
"Like my training should be up a level. So how's my wife erza taking her new eye?" Dante asked
"She loving it so far," Yamato answered
Dante smiles as he sees his body changing into his dragon force wings mode
"Look like you gotten hang of that transformation," Yamato said
Dante looked at it and smirked. He looked at his wings but they were different, "So Makarov, are we done? Did we learn who my mom is?"
"Believe it or not but your mom is Mavis Vermillion...the first master of Fairy Tail," Makarov said
Dante smiles and looks at the markings on his hands
"That eye will come in handy," Yamato said
Dante smiled
"I hope so but what I need is more training, I need to learn my mother's skills and use them as my own," Dante remarked
"There will be plenty of time to train," Yamato said
"Okay. Now we have to find a love nest, right?"
"A love nest?" Erza blushed at this. Her imagination begins to run wild
Erza's imagination
Dante comes home. Covered in dirt, "Honey I'm home! What's for dinner? That last job was a pain in the ass."
As Dante walks into a 2-floor house, Erza comes in wearing a red heart apron and nothing else's
"Welcome home dear. I'm sorry about it. Maybe I can make you something," Erza said in a seductive tone
Dante looks at her and lust overcame him
"Erza... I want you!" He leaps on her as piles of clothes were thrown in the air
Erza sighs dreamily and passes out from a nose bleed
Dante, Yamato, and Makarov looked down at erza
"I guess she's on board. What about you Yamato?" Dante asked
Yamato smiles at Dante, "I am with you,"
Dante smiles and picks up Erza
Dante looks at Makarov, "So gramps, thank you and we will see you tomorrow. We need to build a house,"
"I will be waiting for you," Makarov said as he walked back to the guild
Dante in the meantime walks away with Yamato and a passed out Erza
