Taimanin Warriors
Chapter One: Right Place, Right Time
It was a quiet night in Tokyo, Japan, as most of the citizens were either fast asleep or pulling all-nighters. So far, things were peaceful…
Save for one individual riding throughout the night, motorcycle roaring throughout the night as he sped down the road, without a clear destination in mind. The individual in question was a young man with messy blonde hair waving from the breeze against his face, his green eyes protected by a pair of driving goggles, wearing a pair of beige cargo shorts and a yellow shirt and a pair of white and red sneakers.
'Shit, things are pretty peaceful tonight.' Raiden Isamu thought to himself, taking a few quick glances about his surroundings as he drove. 'A bit boring for my tastes.'
Pulling his motorcycle to a stop close to the sidewalk, Raiden brought a hand up to the color of his shirt, fishing out what looked like a golden amulet with a ruby skull, a memento from his father, according to his mother. Growing up, Raiden had wondered who his father was and why he was never around, and no matter how many times he asked, his mother would never give him a straight answer, only vague answers like 'he was from a different world' or 'he was like a fallen angel' or other vague statements. Ever since then, Raiden had been searching for clues about his past.
'One day, I'll find the answers I need.' He thought with determination. 'I'll find him!'
Suddenly, from the corner of his eye, he saw a fire erupt from the airport several blocks down. Turning his head to that direction, he smirked.
"Well, whatever's happening there, it ought to be interesting!"
He drove down the road, eventually arriving at his destination, parking his motorcycle down an alley, peaking out to see the crashed plane.
"Damn, hope I'm not too late!" He said aloud. "People could be hurt!"
Lifting up the seat of his motorcycle, Raiden pulled out a small duffle bag. After checking to see if anyone was watching, he proceeded to change clothes, out of his casual clothes and into a full-body leather suit, a pair of combat boots and yellow gloves, a red scarf and a helmet with a visor that kept his face hidden. He proceeded to put on a pair of leather vambraces, both having retractable chain-blades installed inside the bracers, and then strapping on two gun holsters around his torso, holstering a set of two pistols, both seeming custom made.
His outfit changed and gear set, Raiden looked towards the fence, took in a breath, then took a running start, then as if defying gravity itself, he leaped over the fence, landing on the other side. Looking around, Raiden proceeded towards the flaming wreckage, raising a brow as he saw a bald-headed man frantically run behind some debrie, as if hiding from something.
Curious, Raiden stepped forward, "Everything alright, old timer?"
The older man jumped a bit, spinning around to look at Raiden, his face riddled with fear.
"Who the hell are you?!" He demanded. "Are you here to kill me?!"
"That depends," Raiden shrugged. "Are you the one that caused the fire?"
"Absolutely not!" The balding man denied. "I, Takenaka Heiji, was only leaving the country, until that maniac, Momochi Toyo, attacked!"
"Who?" Raiden asked.
"The worst of kinds." Tekenaka shivered. "The attack happened so suddenly, and he and his goons cut through my guards like they were nothing! Now he's going to kill me!"
Looking over the debris, Raiden saw what looked like a character in full, black armor with a long, serrated katana, cutting down several cyborg security personnel.
"Damn, he's cutting down everyone in his way." The young man remarked silently. "Poor bastards didn't stand a chance."
"Those were good men hired to escort me." Tekenaka said with sorrow in his voice. "Good men with families."
"Here, why don't you sneak back to the airport building and get help." Raiden suggested. "I'll hold his attention; give you a chance to get away."
"Are you insane?!" The bald man snarled. "He'll kill you!"
"Got a better idea?" Raiden asked, raising a brow under his masked helmet.
Looking from the massacre to Raiden several times, considering his options, Tekenaka silently obeyed, creeping away towards the airport building.
'Yeah, I thought so,' Raiden smirked under his mask, before getting serious as he turned towards the killer. 'Now, to play my part.'
Standing up, Raiden stepped out from behind his cover spot, keeping a safe distance from the murderer.
"Hey, jackass!" He called out. "Doncha think it's a bit late for a midnight stroll?!"
Slowly, the killer, Momochi, turned around, his dark blue eyes glaring at the young man from under the mask.
"And what do we have here?" He mused in mock curiosity.
"Someone who's about to shit all over your parade, pal!" Raiden declared confidently before doing an epic pose with his twin pistols. "Shake in fear, the Thunder Raider is here!"
Only silence remained, Momochi simply staring, no doubt dumbfounded and confused, before saying, "You sound like a child trying to act like an adult."
"Hey, don't underestimate me, ya geezer!" Raiden shot back. "Cuz that'll be the last mistake you ever make!"
Momochi only shook his head before raising a hand, gesturing to the carnage around them, "Look around, boy. Do you truly wish to end up like the rest that dared to stand in my way?"
Raiden only remained silent, only giving a stare of his own from under his helmet, as Momochi said, "Go home, boy, before you get yourself killed. The last thing I need tonight is some child trying to play hero."
Rather than leaving, as the killer had expected him to, Raiden simply started a slow walk towards him, much to Momochi's curiosity, "Oh? You're approaching, rather than leaving as told?"
"I can't kick the shit outta you unless I get closer." Raiden simply replied, continuing his walk, unafraid.
Chuckling sinisterly, Momochi did the same thing, "Then get as close as you'd like."
The two started closing the distance, getting closer and closer, until they were an arm's reach from one another, Momochi grinning under his helmet.
'I will make this child wish he never came here.'
Unfortunately, Momochi was in for quite the shocking surprise.
Not too far away, three young women were cutting down a group of cyborg ninjas, making their way through the airport. The leader was a tall, beautiful woman with dark-blue hair with spiky bangs and teal eyes, and she was wearing a purple, skin-tight outfit with silver armored accents. She also kept a katana with purple linings along the blade sheathed at her side.
The second woman was a tad shorter than the leader, sporting short orange hair with some spiky bangs and baby blue eyes, having a sexy figure like the leader, only larger breasts, wearing a sleeveless outfit similar to the leader, only it was mostly black with orange side skirts with leggings going up to her impressive thighs and orange and white shoes. She also had a pair of ninja daggers sheathed on the back of her hip.
The third one was much shorter young woman, with a smaller bust size and a deep tan, having long brown hair put in equally long pigtails, wearing a mostly black and red swimsuit-like battle-suit and had a set of dual pistols holstered at her sides.
"The Nomads have been getting bold lately." The leader in purple said, slicing one of the ninjas with her katana. "They would go so far as to bomb an airport."
"Well, Takenaka Heiji did release super-secret information," The one in orange said before slicing up another ninja with her daggers. "Still, this is just awful."
"Sakura's right, Asagi." The short one said before riddling two enemy ninjas with bullets. "These guys will do anything to get ahead."
"True, Yukikaze, but our objective remains the same." Asagi said. "We must secure Takenaka Heiji before the Nomads get a hold of him!"
"Right!" Both Sakura and Yukikaze said in unison.
After dispatching their enemies, the three ninjas proceed through the burning building before reaching the ground floor, and are met with a panicked Takenaka Heiji, who saw them.
"Oh thank God!" He said relieved as he approached. "Finally, I thought-"
"Hold it!" Yukikaze shouted before pointing one of her pistols at the balding man. "We're here to take you in!"
"Wait, I'm a victim here too, you know!" Heiji protested, raising his arms. "I was only barely able to make it to safety, thanks to that stranger!"
"What stranger are you talking about?" Asagi demanded with a raised brow.
"A young man in a leather suit." Heiji explained. "Gave me a chance to slip away before Momochi could notice me."
"Momochi is here?!" Sakura said in shock.
"He is, killed my security personnel." Heiji nodded. "Still, that young man seemed sure he could hold his own."
"We need to hurry before that man gets himself killed!" Asagi said.
"Asagi, are you sure?" Someone said through her earpiece. "We've already secured Heiji and other Taimanin are on the way. There's no need to risk your lives needlessly."
"Fuuma, we Taimanin never leave anyone to die." Asagi declared with pride. "We protect those that need it the most, and right now, if Heiji is right, then that stranger could really use our help."
"If you're certain," Fuuma said, unsure. "Still, Momochi is no joke, so I heavily advise caution."
"We'll be fine." Asagi nodded, before turning to her teammates. "Alright, let's go; we have a life to save!"
After making sure Takenaka Heiji wasn't going anywhere, the trio exited the large hole in the wall and made their way to the open field of the airport before coming upon a sight that surprised them greatly; Momochi Toyo was fighting the stranger in leather and red scarf.
"Hey, that's weird." Yukikaze said in surprise. "Shouldn't Momochi be winning? Why is he having trouble?"
"Maybe this guy's more skilled?" Sakura guessed before thinking to herself, 'He must be pretty skilled to go up against Momochi by himself. Not to mention he looks pretty hot doing it.'
"No point in watching." Asagi declared. "Come! We must give our new friend a hand!"
Momochi was not expecting this child to last long. He sent a fight out, aiming to simply knock him out, only for the 'Thunder Raider' to lean back and evade the punch. Surprised at first, Momochi sent out several more, the Raider dodging them as well, before the rogue Taimanin drew out his long, serrated red katana, and swung upward, but the Raider jumped back, evading the attack, standing with his hands behind his back.
'Is he trying to mock me?' Momochi thought to himself, slightly peeved.
Raiden hoped up and down a bit, punching the air a bit, before curling his fingers at Momochi in a 'bring it' gesture. Growling, the armor cladded ninja charged, swinging his sword, aiming to cleave the Raider in half, only for said Raider to roll to the side before opening fire, riddling him with holes.
'I don't understand!' Momochi thought in frustration. 'How has this child lasted this long?! Who is he?!"
"Hold it right there!"
Caught off guard by the sudden shout, both Raider and Taimanin looked to see the trio of Taimanin approach, weapons at the ready.
"Momochi, you bastard!" Asagi shouted with her sword pointed at the rogue. "You have a lot of nerve showing your face here, traitor!"
"Hey, don't worry," Raiden declared, taking his eyes off of the rogue. "I've already got him-"
As soon as Raiden made this mistake, Momochi charged forward and tackled him, raising him by the throat before slamming him into the ground, then send him flying into a part of the destroyed plane before throwing his sword like a spear, impaling him through the torso.
The Taimanin girls gasped in horror as the stranger dangled from the side of the wreckage, motionless, blood dripping from the corpse.
"Now that he's dealt with," Momochi said as he turned to the Taimanin. "Asagi. It's been a while. I wasn't expecting to see you here."
"Momochi, explain yourself!" Asagi demanded. "Why are you here?! You were here for Takenaka, weren't you?!"
"Ohh, Takenaka?" Momochi said with a sinister chuckle. "It seems you're still playing the government's pet."
"What did you say?!" Asagi said with anger.
"The Japanese government has become a servant to the UFS, nothing but a subcontract." Momochi went on. "Now, we ninjas will no longer stand on the sidelines."
As Momochi went on, Sakura looked towards the Raider, and her eyes widened with shock as he pushed himself off the wreckage, falling to his hands and knees, serrated sword still in his torso, before straightening himself up.
"This day, this time, I have risen." Momochi declared. "I will bring a new order to East Asia and-"
Bang bang bang!
Halfway through his sentence, Momochi was rained with gunfire, forcing him to one knee. Confused and shocked, all four looked to see the Raider, standing tall, twin pistols drawn and the serrated sword still stuck in his torso.
"Geez, anyone ever tell you that you talk too much?" Raiden asked casually, pistols trained on the rogue. "Also, it'll do you some good to make sure your opponents are actually dead, ya know?"
The Taimanin were absolutely shocked, see how this stranger was practically still standing, and having this kind of attitude when he had a weapon sticking out of his chest.
"Hey, uuuhhh…mister?" Yukikaze spoke up, gaining the Raiders attention. "You've uuuhh, got a little something in your chest."
Tilting his head forward, seeing the sword, the Raider raised his head back up, "Right, give me a sec. This is gonna hurt."
Holstering one of his pistols, Raiden grabbed hold of the blade, and after several breaths, he tugged the weapon three times before pulling the whole weapon out, "Damn, I hate when they use the serrated shit!"
As Raiden tossed the weapon back at Momochi's feet, the rogue only looked back at him, shock under the mask, "What the hell are you?!"
"I couldn't tell ya, even if I wanted to." Raiden shrugged before aiming his pistols at Momochi once more. "Now, we can either do this the easy way, or the hard way!"
The rogue only looked at both the Raider and the Taimanin, all with weapons drawn and ready to pounce, he only chuckled in response before saying, "I think I'd rather do the hard way."
Suddenly, a massive, black and red behemoth fell from the sky, surprising the Taimanin and Raider, before Momochi picked up his sword, "Farewell, Asagi. Sit back and enjoy the show as I spread my perfect ideals."
"Oh, you are NOT getting off that easy!" Raiden shouted before running off after the rogue, leaving the Taimanin to deal with the demonic beast.
"Get back here, you coward!" Raiden shouted. "You don't get to run away!"
The Raider chased the rogue down the landing strip and was about to catch up, before he sensed a hostile coming his way. Jumping and rolling to the side, he looked up to see someone slash at the air where he once was with what looked like a pair of clawed gauntlets. The attacker was female, with violet hair cut short in a bob cut, violet eyes and red lips and wore a revealing red and black outfit.
"Well, what do we have here?" She said in a seductive tone, before turning to Momochi. "You never told me that you have a new friend.~"
"More like a cockroach that won't die, Oboro." Momochi grunted.
"Well, you don't get to run off, pal" Raiden retorted. "Fight me like you've got a pair!"
"I have more important things to deal with then play with children." Momochi scoffed, waving him off.
"What'd you say?!" Raiden growled.
"Well, aren't we eager," Oboro chuckled. "But it wouldn't be very ideal for you to leave your friends to fend for themselves, now would it?"
"They're not my friends." Raiden shot back.
"Oh, then is this how you treat those that you call friends?" Oboro said with a grin.
Raiden only growled as Oboro laughed. "You may chase us if you'd like, but can you honestly life with yourself, knowing that you could have saved another life?"
As the two villians ran off, Raiden only stood there conflicted, looking back towards the fight the three girls were having with the Behemoth. Part of him wants to chase the two rogues down and give them a taste of pain, but at the same time, he didn't want to leave those three to die at the hands of that demon. But why? He didn't know them, and as far as he knew, they could in fact take care of themselves. But what if they couldn't? He'd be leaving them to die when he could have done something.
'Damnit!' He cursed to himself before turning and making a mad dash back their way.
Back with the Taimanin, the girls were already putting the beast on its last leg, Asagi having cut off its wings, "Hit it with everything you've got!"
Nodding, Sakura and Yukikaze sprinted forward, Sakura summoning forth a Shadow Shark to emerge from the darkness around her, the shadow construct biting the demonic beast around the throat, while Yukikaze fired a high powered electrical shock at the demon, frying it to death, as the body collapsed to the ground.
"Man that was tough!" Yukikaze let out a loud sigh. "That thing was a real piece of work!"
"I hope that stranger guy is okay." Sakura said with concern in her voice. "Momochi isn't someone a normal person should chase after."
"Well, that stranger was obviously no normal person." Asagi pointed out. "He was able to keep up with Momochi in terms of combat AND got back up after being stabbed the way that he did."
"Maybe he could be one of us?" Yukikaze suggested. "After all, enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that?"
"But we know nothing about him." Asagi pointed out. "We don't know who he is or what his intentions are."
"Why not ask me?"
Surprised, the girls turned to see the Raider approach, hands behind his head.
"Did you catch Momochi?" Asagi asked. "I also had a feeling you would run off."
"Kinda, but that guy made a mess and I didn't want to let him get away." The raider shrugged. "Sadly, he got away."
"Momochi was always a master runner as well as a fighter." Asagi said before getting serious. "Now, who are you? And how did you manage to survive that attack earlier?"
The Raider was about to answer, but he saw the Behemoth rise up, growling as it looked their way, about to charge.
"LOOK OUT!" The Raider shouted, pushing Asagi out of the way as he ran forward, but as he pushed Sakura aside, his hand was pressing against her right breast, and while Sakura noticed this and blushed heavily, the Raider didn't, as he was focused on the demon, said demon charging forward, as the young man wrapped his arms around its neck and then, with surprising strength, managed to stop the beast by digging his heels into the concrete, stopping it in its tracks.
The girls were greatly surprised by this, and as if it wasn't surprising enough, they watched in shock as the young man jump with all his might, launching into the air, taking the beast with him, the girls watching with dropped jaws.
'Time for my signature technique,' Raiden thought, leaning back and proceeding to pull the beast downward. "THUNDERBOLT DDT!"
Both man and demon crashing into the earth, a massive thunderbolt struck, much to the shock of the trio, and they were even more shocked to see the Raider emerging from the crater, the body of the Behemoth dissolving into nothing.
"Oh yeah! Who's bad?!" Raiden whooped before turning to see the trio, mouths agape in shock, before he straightened himself. "Well, my job here is done."
And with that, he turned and ran off in a zip of electricity.
"Wait!" Asagi called, reaching out, but the Raider was already gone.
"Damn, he's fast." Yukikaze said, before saying out loud, "But OH MY GOD DID YOU SEE THE WAY HE SUPLEXED THAT BEAST?!"
"WOW, THAT WAS AWESOME!" Sakura declared, before blushing as she thought, 'Not to mention he was damn sexy doing it!'
"Okay, let's calm down." Asagi spoke up. "Yes, that was surprising, not to mention impressive, but we must stay cautious, since we know nothing about him."
Looking around, Asagi looked towards the spot where the Raider was impaled, the spot still covered in wet blood, then pulled out a rag and wiped up some of the blood, then placed the bloodied rag in a small plastic bag.
"We'll take a sample back to base for analysis." She said. "If we find out who he is, perhaps we can convince him to our side." She then turned to her companions. "Alright, our mission is done; let's grab Takenaka and return to base."
In agreement, the trio was making their way towards the airport building, while Sakura was in thought, her hands running over her breasts.
'He touched my boob.' She thought bitterly before sighing. 'Then again, he may not have known, since he was concentrating with the demon, so I'll let it slide; this time.'
After fleeing the scene and changing back to his normal clothes, Raiden rode his motorcycle away from the airport, his thoughts going back to the events that happened.
'Shit, that was crazy.' He thought. 'That crazy ninja guy sounded insane, and that ninja stripper lady seemed just as crazy!'
Putting his thoughts to the side for now, he continued driving until he got home, parking his motorcycle in the garage and went upstairs to his room, tossing his duffle bag to the side and laid on his bed and sighed.
'But damn, those girls were something else.' He thought to himself, looking up at the ceiling. 'They seem to know how to handle themselves. Not to mention that they're hot as hell. But why are they dressed like Amsterdam strippers?'
Sighing, he ran a hand over his torso where he was stabbed, "Good thing my healing factor is pretty damn fast, or that would've been the end."
Sitting up, he looked out the window, "Still, I wonder if I'll see them again? Especially that orange hair girl. She was pretty damn cute. Not to mention that sexy figure of hers."
Thinking for a moment, Raiden reached into his shirt and pulled out his amulet, running his thumb across the skull, "And can they help me find my dad?"
Finally, after quite some time of brainstorming, and OC creating, I've finally started my Taimanin Asagi story! Now, this story will more or less follow the main plot of the mobile game, Taimanin Action. I've had this story idea bouncing back and forth in my head for quite some time, and after struggling with a possible plot, some OC creation, some research, as well as asking some friends for some advice, I've finally found the time and motivation to write this.
This is another small project I'll be working on, but if you guys like what you see, feel free to leave a review to encourage me to write on! I'd like to continue writing more, but given how busy my personal life is, the upload schedule is gonna be pretty whack. I hope you guys understand.
Anyways, I hope you guys like it so far, and look forward to more! Be sure to review!
