IMPORTANT MESSAGE, PLEASE READ!

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well. I've been getting a lot of messages and comments about how much you love the original version of this story and want it back. I've even got a few posting and sending rude comments/private messages about it. Look, I understand what you're all saying and the fact that many of you love the story means so much to me that its making me want to do so much more for you. But as I've said before, this is something that I've planned on doing for a long time and I've even let you all know that I was gonna start doing it after posting the last chapter for part 1. That was about a year ago and I've been leaving notes and messages on the top of chapters for you all to know what's going on.

I'm gonna address a few things right now so you all know where I'm at and the reasons behind my actions. And instead of replying to everyone the same thing over and over again, I'm just gonna have it up here.

First off, I'm not 'rewriting' the story, I'm editing it. The story will still have the same main plots, subplots, scenes and almost all of the other stuff that you all loved as it did before. I'm only making them better with better details, flow, context, less spelling/grammar errors, better character portrayals, more character perspectives, etc. I'm mostly just adding extra scenes and expanding on certain particular scenes so its portrayed better. It's basically 95% adding/editing to the story with only 5% taking away (which is mostly errors such as spelling, grammar, removing plot holes, removing extra stuff that's not needed, fixing certain things, etc).

The second thing is that I'm replacing the old with the new because of several reasons. Like I said before, I've been planning on doing this for a while and I have let you all know about a year in advance with author notes and updates. Also, I kept having issues with FanFiction messing with my stuff by deleting some of my work and not even loading it sometimes. And I'm still having issues. I don't know if others are going through this as well, or I'm just part of the unlucky minority. As a result, I decided to push up my schedule and just clear out the old version and start fresh with the new edited chapters. I don't want to have two different versions of this story uploaded on FanFiction because I'm going to (and have started already) cross post on AO3, Wattpad and Pat reon as well and I want them all to be the same.

Thirdly, this is more of a direct response to everyone who thinks negatively towards my decisions since some are using guest accounts and others haven't responded back to me in private messages. I'm not insecure. I am confident in my writing. I do value and respect my readers. If I wasn't/didn't, then I wouldn't have taken their input and decide to edit and make things better. I wouldn't reply back to messages, comments and reviews. I wouldn't take time to have pages worth of discussions with them about not just the story, but also about their lives and what their doing. I wouldn't help others in trying to write their own stories. I'm doing all that because of how much I care. And I want to show the best quality work I can make for people to read. And as I stated before, with the issues I've been facing with FanFiction, why would I constantly repost the old stuff when I'm gonna replace it with the edited version anyway? That's just a waste. And I've been telling people for the past year my plans so how is any of this out of the blue? And if my story is all of a sudden trash for doing this, it wasn't trash when you were reading it, right?

Fourth thing is about the old version. I know how many of you, including myself, like to reread things that we end up liking. But like I said above, I had to do this. With all the issues I've been having, I was lucky enough to save the OG version of this story before I kept getting hit with all that. But even so, there's no point posting it up again if I'm eventually going to replace it anyway. And it took me a long time to get it ready and then convert it into a PDF format for people to have the option to download and read it if they become a pat reon member.

Speaking of pat reon, it's not mandatory to use to read my main stories. You'd only have to wait longer to do so than those who do become supporters. That's it as far as main stories go. Now the old version being exclusive and having extra content for pat reon members only, why is that a problem? What's wrong with someone trying to make some money in this world? Especially when they're gonna use that money to help them do the thing that their supporters are donating them to do anyways? Many writers go through so much to deliver content for others so how is asking for people to become pat reon members wrong or a problem? Why? I, like so many other writers, have put in so much time, effort, research and much more to write this story without asking for anything in return other than asking for feedback and helping it go up the ranks.

Just me alone, I've put in a million words, sixty chapters and five years worth of time that was spent in writing, researching, headaches, rewriting scenes, deleting entire pages of stuff because it wasn't good enough, and much more. And that's just for this story, not counting the others I'm also working on. So with all that work and effort put in, why can't I, or other writers for that matter, ask for some more support than just reviews, follows and favs? (which I still would like to get, mind you) What's wrong with that? Nothing. I'm not even asking for much to be one of my members. It's eight bucks per month to be a patron. That's less than a damn combo meal from most fast food joints. That's more than reasonable for the amount of work I do and the amount of content I'm putting out and will have available for my readers. And you can cancel at any time if you don't want to be one anymore. So where's the risk?

All in all, I would like to kindly request everyone to please be understanding and patient. Know that I, and many other writers, go through a lot for each chapter we post for you to read and enjoy. If you can, please show your support. Write us reviews on what you liked, didn't like, hoping to see, what you didn't understand or want more clarification on and/or whatever else is on your mind. Favorite our stories if you liked it so others would know that its a good story to read. Follow us/our stories so you know when the next chapters out and what we're doing. And if you can, and if the writer is asking for it, become a patron so we can continue to focus on creating not just stories, but experiences for you to enjoy and live through.
