I travel through the lands being an immortal witch. I travel right now with Godric. He is a vampire that my husband turned. I guess I should myself. I am Siv Mikealson. My husband is one of the original vampires, Kol Mikealson. He married me when he was still human. Enzo has joined Godric and I. he is a descendant on Kol's line. Kol was daggered by his brother, who leaves him in a coffin.
For the first couple of years, I didn't know what to do with myself. Godric was always grateful for Kol saving him. He suggested I create a world that Kol could be proud of. One that his bloodline can thrive in and make a world a better place to live in.
Witches also live in this empire making it easier for them to live, learn and practise magic. My husband was a witch when he was human. He missed his magic very much when he lost it after being turned into a vampire. He even went on to treasure mine even more. He showed any witch he came across much respect. He tried to teach many witches to master their magic. Something he never got the chance to do. So we have a school for witches to learn how to strengthen and master their magic.
Enzo joined Godric and I almost 100 years ago. We rescued him from scientists doing experiments on vampires. We had been looking for him for years. He hadn't updated his ID and no one had heard that he died. All evidence pointed to him just disappearing. We found out he was being cloaked by another witch. We dispatched her when a fire broke out. he was quickly rescued, and he decided to stay with Godric and I.
Godric was enslaved. My husband saved him by turning him. Godric stayed with us for 5 years, then left on his own. Kol called for him when he knew Niklaus was going to dagger him. Kol wanted Godric to protect and keep me company. Godric has been an amazing friend and hasn't left my side since then.
Enzo has finally decided he wants to face his only friend Damon Salvatore. I had him tracked to his hometown of Mystic Falls. How ironic that it was where Kol and I grew up as well. I wonder if the cave system is still there. I will have to show Enzo and Godric where Kol and I grew up and were married. They have heard so many stories of my family the Mikaelson's but they have never seen the caves where we grew up. I know they will appreciate that.
Enzo is driving right now. Godric is in the back of the car. I am in the passenger seat. Godric was driving a couple of hours ago. He is sleeping now. Godric and Enzo swapped off driving and sleeping so we got here quickly. We pull up to what looks like a small house. I had it built by witches for Kol an I. It's in the forest so out of the way on the towns people. But still close enough to town if I decide to walk to town. I know Kol would like that. I had it renovated when Enzo joined us as well, so that he had a room. Godric already had a room. I know Kol would have wanted him to have one.
We are arriving in time for a comet festival, tonight. They say it's an omen of death and destruction. It can be used to harness dark power. We shall see if this time it does mean that. But the death and destruction shouldn't start right away. It generally takes time to settle in.
One of Kol's bloodline also said there is a doppelganger here. That the female doppelganger is here. Her being here should leave this town with enough to do. Doppelgangers always bring lots of supernatural to the yard. Their blood can be used in many spells. Hopefully there isn't too many dull moments here.
Godric and Enzo both have multiple sunlight pieces. Hopefully that will prevent them from getting hurt. I would be so crushed if they did. I will do everything in my power, so they don't. Because wherever the doppelganger is death and destruction follow. That seems to be the theme they follow.
"Are we going to go see Damon first or just go to see the comet? Be seen with the towns people." I ask Enzo looking over at him.
"I would rather wait to see him. See if he approaches me." Enzo says with a sad look.
Damon really did hurt him. Hopefully Damon can give him some closure to the trauma. Best case scenario they can continue to be friends. I really hope that is the case. Enzo needs friends other then Godric and I. We have taken him to see and explore the world. He missed out on a lot. We got him caught up but being captured has lead him to be less social. He is quite outgoing when you've gotten to know him. If you don't, he can be very quiet. He will avoid you if he doesn't know you.
We enter in the house that is much bigger on the inside. I show the boys to their rooms and go get settled in mine. We all shower and change out of our traveling clothes. We decide to go to the Mystic Grill that we saw on our way in. It looked like the local hang out. allowing us to find out all the local drama and gossip. We can maybe meet some people.
We head out to the Grill and sit in a booth "I have feeling this town will lead to a lot of unnecessary drama in our lives," Godric says.
"You said that about Rome." Enzo says bugging him.
"And what happened?" Godric asks.
"The Hotel production was slowed down that was all, Godric. Relax. I do realize this will be heavy drama. But I also feel it might be worth it," I tell them both effectively ending their banter.
A blonde teenager walk's over. "Hello, welcome to the Grill. My name is Matt. What can I get for you?" He askes us pulling out a pad of paper.
"Three orders of whatever you think is best here." I say closing my menu and talking the menu from Enzo and Godric with only a hey in protest from both of them.
"Sure, but why what I think is best?" Matt asks.
"Because that is how you get to know local food." I reply.
"You must travel a lot." He says wide eyes.
"We do. We just moved here from traveling around the world for a few years." I explain.
"Why here?" Matt asks
"To be honest we tossed a dart, and it landed on this town." Godric lies flawlessly. It's like he's been doing it for almost a millennium. I chuckle to myself at my thoughts.
"Well, Welcome. I'll go get your orders in." He says turning and walking away.
"Think he bought it?" Godric asks.
"I would think so, that's how we chose where to travel." Enzo states in a dull voice.
"I heard the locals once knew about vampires. So please you two be careful. The fact that you can walk out into the sunlight should help disguise the fact. But it doesn't hurt to be too careful." I warn them quietly.
"Don't worry Siv. We will be careful. Nothing can catch us off guard." Enzo tells me confidently. Matt comes up behind Enzo with the burgers and fries for us. Enzo jumps. Godric and I snort hiding out laughter.
"Yes, nothing can catch you off guard. Not even a human." Godric says sarcastically once Matt leaves.
I loo to the side and see the doppelganger enter. I also see Stefan Salvatore, the male doppelganger. This is going to be a hot bed of death with both doppelgangers here. Stefan is Damon's younger brother from what intel I have gathered says. The doppelganger sits with some teens her age. I'm going to assume those are her friends. Stefan sits alone.
I wonder if Damon ever talks about Enzo to him. I take a bite in my burger contemplating that. This burger is amazing for local food.
