He has been an of Tyler since he saw him on TV, during the Holy Road tournament. He has been a fan and avid supporter since and made sure to catch all his matches and contests that were televised. Even if he puts on a good facade he feels a lot of pressure from his father and it's not just because of his abilities in fighting. Doesn't help he recently had a fight with his friends and we don't want to mention the incident. Kai is very strong-willed and it takes a lot to get him down. Though with moving so much he found it a chore to make new friends and relied on studying pokemon anatomy. After traveling so much his parents got a call from their boss to work in the elemental region and for his final year of high school will be at the new Elemental Sector Academy. They don't know each other but are well acquainted. His dream is to someday be a model in Kalos. Though for now, he is a natural-born leader with a strong sense of justice and a nearly irresistible charm.

She was the one who also suggested the school need to reform and got it passed hence having one giant school known as Elemental Sector academy.
