The mundane world has a modern aesthetic while the magical realm has an Art nouveau/Art Deco (1910-1940) aesthetic.

Muggles - non magical folk who live in the enchanted realm. The descendants of squibs. Live on the edges of society in slum areas - they are not respected.

Changelings (muggleborns) - a magical born to non magical parents.

After Voldemort kiled James and Lily Potter, and failed to kill Brianna Lily Potter, the Potter's house-elf followed her master and mistresses last instruction and took Brianna to the Unenchanted realm where she would be safe.
While in the Unecnanted realm she grows up not knowing who she is or who her family A month before her eleventh birthday things take a startling twist. Brianna is retrieved from the unenchated realm and is introduced to the enchanted realm.
Upon her return to the enchated realm she is reunited with her only living family. Her Aunt Petunia (a muggle) her Uncle Vernon (a muggle - mother was a squib) and her cousin Hermione (halfblood).
Petunia and Vernon are both resentful of the fact that they do not have magic like their families.
They are accepting of their daughter and due to their ambition they try to use Brianna to boost their standing in the enchanted realm, hoping Brianna's fame will ensure they leave the life of poverty behind them.
At Hogwarts Brianna makes friends with Ron Weasley and Finley Granger (Male Hermione)
Brianna also learns of her destiny.
