The Giant Space was dark. It looked endless in all directions and looks like it hasn't been disturbed in years.
Suddenly a young boy with white hair fell through the top headfirst causing the water to ripple. The boy continued to float down backwards. His eyes were closed making it look like he was asleep. His body started to turn upward. When he was turned around halfway, his eyes opened. The first thing he realized was that he seemed to be underwater but somehow able to breathe. When he completely turned around to where his feet were under him until he landed on a solid surface under him. Still trying to come to his senses, he took a deep breath and took a step forward. The moment he stepped forward again, a blinding light appeared under it causing him to cover his eyes. When he moved his arms, he saw doves flying everywhere. As he watched them fly away in confusion, he looks down to see a bright white color under him. It was hard to tell but it looked like there was a person drawn on it. And he was right, In the middle of the platform it showed a woman wearing a white robe with brown hair in buns. There was a circle going around her from the waist to the head. Inside it were smaller circles with people the woman probably knows. Some of those includes a young boy in black with blonde hair holding a green laser sword, a robot coated in gold along with a mini robot with white and blue by his side, a brown furry creature that looks somewhat like bigfoot, and a Hansom looking guy with a white shirt and black jacket. There were also circles that showed more laser swords, blasters, some ships, and little creatures that looked like teddy bears.
"Hmm I wonder who that can be" thought the boy. He looked around him seeing that he was in the middle of nowhere. He didn't dare move from where he was in fear of what would happen.
"So much to do, so little time." Said a voice coming out of nowhere. This, of course, freaked him out but kept calm wondering where this was going. "Take your time. Don't be afraid." But wait... The voice just said that there was little time. But at the same time, he can take his time? That didn't make since to him at all. He was also way past afraid.
"The door is still shut. Now step forward. Can you do it?" 'What kind of question is that? What is this some sorta tutorial for a video game?' the boy thought to himself. Never the less, he walked forward. The more he walked forward. The more he went the more he realized that the light wasn't coming from the platform itself but from above him since he saw his shadow. He Reached the center when he saw a flash of light to his right. When it disappeared, there was a stone podium. A flash appeared above it and then he saw a shield with a bunny's head in the front.
"Power sleeps within you."
Another podium appears to his left and this time, it's a staff that has a carrot for its top.
"If you give it form..."
Now a third one appears a few feet in front of him showing a silver sword with the same bunny's head in the logo.
"It will give you strength. Choose well."
"So, I have to choose one of these?" The boy asks himself. "I really hope this is a dream".
He decides to head to the start because in his mind, he thought he was in one of those fantasy rpg games. And One of the first classes would be the warrior. So, he walks up to grab the sword when suddenly the voice starts to speak
"The power of the warrior, Invincible courage, a sword of terrible destruction. Is this the power you seek?"
The boy thought about it for a few seconds. What it said about destruction wanted him to say no, but something was telling him to say yes. And besides, it might only cause destruction to his enemies. And a bonus is that he can protect his family and friends. But why is he putting so much thought into it, it is a dream after all.
"I chose the power of the warrior." he spoke. The sword then disappeared from his hands but felt his own strength increase.
"Your path is set."
He then turns around looking at the other two.
"Now, what will you give up in exchange?
The boy looked at the other 2. First, he went to the shield and the voice said to him.
"The Power of the guardian, Kindness to aid friends, a shield to repel all. You give up this power?"
The boy thought over this and decided to go to the staff which the voice said out.
"The power of the mystic, inner strength, a wand of wonder and ruin. You give up this power?"
After hearing that part, the boy thought about it and decided to give up the staff, for he did not want 2 weapons that could cause destruction and ruin. Then the voice spoke again.
"you've chosen the power of the warrior; you've given up the power of the mystic. Is this the form you choose?" And without hesitation, the white hair boy answered.
"Yes." Suddenly, the podium he was standing on tilted and caused him to lose balance which caused him to jump off. The other two were doing the same and all three were sinking in the ground. The boy was figuring out what to do next. When suddenly, the glass below him began to crack. And within 2 seconds, all the glass was in shards and the boy started to fall again into the same position he was in at the beginning.
After a while, he landed on another glass and once again, a girl was shown in the middle. But only this time the girl was shown in a white shirt with a blue dress, she also had a basket on the side of her arm and inside of it was a little black dog, what was also noticeable about her is that she was wearing red ruby slippers. And just like in the last one, it showed images of people she knows like a scarecrow, a metal man, and a humanoid lion holding its tale in his face. The rest of the circles showed a lot of emerald, green pillars representing a city, a yellow brick road, blue monkeys with wings, a witch's broom, and a tornado.
Not knowing what to do, he stood there and waited for the voice to speak. Suddenly, a light appeared in his hand, and he now held the sword from earlier.
"you've gained the power to fight."
"What does that mean?" The boy asked. He was by no means a fighter and knew even less about how to use a sword. He swung it around to get the feel of it and noticed that part of him felt natural holding this new weapon. "This is pretty awesome." The boy said with a smirk.
"Alright you got it. Use this power to protect yourselves and others."
Suddenly, a black dot appeared a few feet away from him, it was in the ground looking like a shadow. It took shape and looked like a small dog that was all black. It had two back feet and two claws for its front feet, two antennas on top of its head, and two yellow eyes compared to all its black body. "What is that?" the boy thought slowly backing away.
"There will be times you will have to fight. Keep your light burning strong.
"What does that mean?" the boy thought. But only for a second because two more creatures appeared behind the first. Finding his voice, the boy spoke. "I don't even know how to fight, much less use a sword. Although these guys don't look too tough. There kind of cute in a creature that came out of nowhere and is trying to fight you in a way...Dang it that sounded better in my head".
He then remembered that there were three creatures about to attack him and got back to focus. His eyes went wide when he saw that the lead one jumped towards him trying to attack from above. And without a second thought, he jumped out of the way. He then slashes his sword downward hitting the creature in the head causing it to poof in black smoke.
"Where did that come from...AHHHH!." he screamed as one of the creatures did the jump attack again. He was so shocked at what he did he forgot about the other two and one scratched him against his back. Without even thinking, he slashed his sword across the shadow. After another hit it poofs into black dust. He turns around to see the other 2 shadows sinking into the ground.
As the white hair boy wondered what those things were, he noticed that there was a green potion when he killed the shadow. "I wonder what this does?" He decides to put it in his pocket for safekeeping, and one of the shadows gets up ready to attack him.
"Behind you!" The voice shouts. He turns around to see the creature jump at him. The boy jumped at it swinging the sword underneath, after defeating it, a whole bunch more appeared ready to attack him.
*Cue montage of the white hair boy defeating the shadows left and right*
After destroying a few more shadows, the rest of them went into the ground. But instead of disappearing like before, giant black and purple holes appeared on the platform before they joined to form one giant, black and purple hole. The moment it went under his feet, it started to pull him down. It was pointless for him to escape, for the shadow was pulling him in fast.
After a while, it was pitch black again, but only for a moment, for suddenly it was light again, and he was on a new platform. Only this time it had a purple color scheme and outlines of hearts. The boy got up and noticed a door at the other end. He went up to it and noticed it was see through but couldn't touch it. "I can't open it."
The boy turned around and saw a chest appear on the other side. He went over to it and hit it with his sword, which he somehow pulled out of nowhere, but it wouldn't break. "Dang it. How am I supposed to open this door" he said. Then the sword trapped the top of the chest and it opened. "Seriously! How does that even make sense? At this rate this will be a long confusing chapter and story am I right you guys." He said, breaking the 4th wall and looking at the readers. He then noticed that the door lit up and became a little more solid. Then a crate bigger than him showed up. Not sure what to do, he tried to move it. And let's say that it surprised him when he could move it so easily. He heard something inside of it and smashed it open. And inside of it he found another one of those green potions which he put in his pocket like the last one.
After a while, the door starts to light up and becomes solid and no longer see through. He pulled the door open only to see a light brighter than any one from before. He walked through it hoping that this was the end of this little dream he was having.
When the light faded, he was in a familiar place. His house.
"Yes, the dream finally ended" The boy exclaims in excitement.
"Hold on, the door won't open just yet" the voice booms
"Oh, come ON!" The boy yells in frustration.
"First, tell me more about yourself."
The boy turns around and sees 3 people standing outside. He walks to the front porch and sees his 8-year-old sister Lucy (this takes place before season 5). "Hey Lucy."
"What are you afraid of?" she asks in her monotone voice. This of course surprised him but decided to go for it. After all it's just a dream.
"Being indecisive I guess."
"Is being indecisive really that scary?" Lucy replies. He went inside and, on the couch, he saw his 6-year-old sister, Lola
"What is most important to you?" asked the princess of the family.
"Friendship." He answered.
"Is friendship such a big deal?" She asked.
"Why do they answer with questions? What is this even for?" While thinking this, he headed over to the kitchen where the final person, his dad.
"What do you want out of life son?"
"to see rare sights." the boy replied
"To see rare sights huh?"
The voice speaks "You are afraid of being indecisive, you want friendship, you want to see rare sights. Your journey begins at midday. Keep a steady pace and you'll come through fine"
Suddenly, the light came again and the next thing he knew, he was standing on another platform. This one was a dog, who was a cockapoo and was wearing a pink vest and had a backpack on that had wings on it. 8 circles showed the people who she knows. Those include a boy with brown hair wearing a white and red vest with a badge that has a dog's paw on it, a German Shepard in police uniform, a dalmatian in a fire uniform, a grey dog in recycling uniform, a chocolate Labrador in some orange water rescue gear, a pit bull in construction uniform, a husky in snow rescue gear, and a chihuahua in safari gear. (Phew that was a lot) the rest of the circles showed a pink and silver helicopter, eagles, bunnies, and a tower with the same logo from the boy's suit from earlier.
He walked around waiting to see what happened. He felt a presence behind him and looked back to see one of the shadows. He looked the other direction and saw another one. In the next second, he was once again surrounded by multiple shadows. He counted about nine in all. "This shouldn't be hard at all." he said, getting in his battle stance again. As if they were waiting for him to do that, they all quickly charged at him or went into the ground. He Jumped over them and started to attack the closet one. He was learning how to do combos and was overpowering the shadows. Sometimes, the ones that did a jump attack went completely over him, but the boy was able to cut them off. He was down to the last to a there was barely a scratch on him as he destroyed the last two.
He looked around and saw a stairway leading to a new platform. Since he got a couple more of that healing stuff and needed it, he used another one of the bottles and headed up the stairs. He was making sure he wouldn't fall off since the path was narrow, but he got there just fine. When he got to the top, he could see another person on it. This woman was wearing a teal blue long coat and had ginger hair. Around her were many small yellow creatures wearing blue overalls, some were short and tall, and some of them only had 1 eye. The small circles had the people she knew. The first one was a bald man with a pointy nose. He wears black and has a black and grey striped scarf around his neck. The next one was a girl who seemed to be Lola's age. She had black hair, which was tied up in a ponytail, and worn a blue and yellow striped shirt with light blue overalls. The next girl was about Lucy's age and worn a light and dark pink hat over her blond hair. Her shirt also had the same design and was wearing hot pink shorts. And the last girl was about the boy's age who wears glasses with brown hair. She was also wearing a black shirt that had a smiling fish on it. And over it she was wearing a green jacket. The rest of the circles showed many spy theme like items like a freeze ray, lipstick taser, a fart gun, and a spy car, other things included was a banana, a stuff unicorn, and a purple diamond.
He walked towards the center seeing that the light was getting brighter there. He reached for it and the voice spoke again.
"The closer you get to the light, the bigger your shadow becomes."
"Huh?" Asked the boy.
He looked behind and couldn't believe his eyes. His shadow was so long it almost reached the end and seemed to keep growing. Then suddenly, His Shadow launched out of the ground looking like a giant version of himself. It scared him so much he jumped and started to back away. His shadow only grew and began to change shape.
"But don't be afraid."
Ignoring the voice, the boy ran away in fear from his own shadow as a giant tentacle foot came on the ground. He ran until he reached the edge, almost losing his balance. He realized he had nowhere to run in means of escape and was forced to fight.
He turned around to see what his shadow looked like. It was all black with tentacle legs and arms that looked like they could lift a single building. Where its chest would be was a giant hole almost shaped like a heart. The face was completely covered by tentacles. And the only thing you could literally see was its yellow eyes staring down at him.
"And don't forget..." But the voice didn't finish leaving him confused.
He looked up and saw the dark side's hand come down charging some sort of energy. It raised its back up so the boy tried to attack it from the legs. He could barely reach them and couldn't really hit them. So, he turned around to see its fists hit the ground.
The boy saw this as an opportunity to attack it again when suddenly, a black and purple vortex was under the fist as it summoned more of the shadows. He quickly took care of them and went to attack the fist. The sword hit it and every time the fist was hit, some of the darkness seemed to be coming off.
"So far, it's only weakness is the fists, it is slow and charges attacks, and can summon those shadows. Good to know." The boy said analyzing the situation. He would have to thank Lynn for all that training she forces him to do.
Lincoln notices one more shadow and quickly took care of it stabbing it in the chest which causes the dark side to rise back up making his fists out of reach.
The Dark side suddenly got on its knees and the boy could see it charging an energy in the center of its hole. He quickly went to the side and started hitting the fist again hoping that attack won't reach him. He did most of the combos on the ground still not having an attack form yet. He would also do a couple of air combos. He landed on the ground and not a second later, something hit him in the back sending him face first into the ground. What did you expect? He was skinny and was very light weight after all. He quickly got back up and saw another one of the projectiles coming after him... NEVER MIND THAT THERE WERE 3 OF THEM TO BE EXACT!" They were balls of darkness that acted like a slow heat seeking missile. Ignoring the pain he went through; he used his fast reflexes and jumped out of the way of the first one, Ducked the second one, and managed to hit the third one with his sword like it was a baseball bat hitting a baseball at home run. But instead of it disappearing, the third one was sent back to the creature hitting it. It didn't do too much damage from what he could tell. But what he did know is that he found another week spot. The boy quickly went back to hitting the fist, but the creature got up and was out of reach... Again.
He took this time to use one of the green potions he found... Which were in fact healing potions to help his burned back from getting hit earlier. After that, he waited for the creature to attack again. It charged energy in its fists again before slamming it in the ground like before.
"I think he's ready to give up... This shouldn't take longer." He ran straight to the fist hitting it as most as he could. He could see the shadows coming again but didn't stop. One of them tried to do a jump attack, but the boy quickly turned around slashing it in its center. He went back to hitting the fist when suddenly the shadows just disappeared. And not by going in the ground. The first went back up and the boy was in front of the creature. The dark side swung its fist at the boy, but he was able to jump backwards barely avoiding dodging it. Suddenly, his sword vanished from his hands, and he couldn't get it back.
"Where did it go?!" he panicked. He lost his balance landing on his butt. A black vortex appeared under him which began to pull him in.
"Don't be afraid." The voice said again as the dark side stared at the young sinking boy.
"You hold the mightiest weapon of all"
The boy tried to squirm away, but it was no use. The darkness was quickly covering him. He reached his arm out hoping to get the sword to come to him. But nothing happened.
"And don't forget..."
The boy looked above him seeing only the darkside before the darkness completely swallowed him, hearing one last thing.
"You are the one who will open the door."
