It's Duck Appreciation-Day right, your dad's birthday, it's not Dad's day, our birthdays or any Terran holiday, I'm out of guesses, tell me Ducky.
The day we move into a certain apartment and become New Warriors, we've been talking about it for a few months but it's gonna be awesome, you being the leader which probably excited your dad, you're his legacy after all.
"Shocket are you up, we've got a lomg day ahead of us and you've gotta eat breakfast." Rocket called from downstairs.
"I'm up daddy, I've just woken thanks to Ducky, she's excited for this." she called from her doorway after getting dressed in her favourite outfit anxiously playing with her locket, which Linda had given her for her birthday plus had packed what she was taking with her to her new home, as she needed this.
After leaving Avengers Campus on Dean Carol's orders after setting Flerkens loose which had made her vice-dean of a dad, an now-fifteen year old Shocket along with her soulmate, Lijda Duck were moving into the New Warriors penthouse-apartment along with being on the team but because Shocket had a buttload of experience, she was the leader and at first, Gamora and Rocket were unsure until Bruce himself told Rocket to employ his son, Charlie as the sitter otherwise known as Tech Support so Rockethad knowing his lil troublemaker might cause heck on him and she'd been packing for the last week telling her dad, RJ could have her room, or he couldturn it ijto an invention lab, but Rocket wouldn't have the heart to do it trying to hold in how he felt about this actually happening, seeing Shocket entering the kitchen seeing Gamora had made breakfast seeing Emily quiet but Casey poked Shocket's shoulder gently.
"Is it true, you're moving-out and it's why dad's acting weird." she asked.
"Yeah it's true, but dad's trying to be brave, this is more tough for him." she said.
"Who gets your room after you leave later, you and Emmy don't get on and RJ's too lil to have a big-cub room." Casey went on unaware Rocket was listening and it wasn't helping how he was feeling besides Gamora banging a ladle against a frying-pan to get their attentions seeing all three cubs alomg with Rocket covering their furry ears.
"This is a big day for Shocket and your dad, we haven't decided what we're doing with Shocket's room yet." she added in a tomethat meant that was the end of the conversation making them gulp not wanting to anger her further making Rocket sigh, he liked when they had spirited conversations at the table, mainly he or mostly Shocket were the focus of them like what just happened.
"We'll see about who gets Shockie's room, okay." he whispered to them, making Casey grin.
"Nothing mom, just feed RJ." Shocket told her making Rocket smirk, she was so like him now being the leader of the New Warriors added to it which made him proud, his cubs didn't needto graduate or go to college like Terran ones so couldnot wait to use this as bragging-rights later seeing Shocket digesting her breakfast which amused Gamora knowing Shocket was just eager to get goijg knowing it might be ijtresting because Shocket fouhd new people and places uncomfortable, until she got used to them which he'd explained to Charlie.
"Whoa, let's wait for Howard and Linda, before we blow this stand, and your mom might need a hug before weleave." Rocket told her confusing Shocket by her dad's words, her mom looked fine to her unaware her mom was worrying about her but being stromg in front of her, Rocket and her sibs so she was going upstairs to her room, activating the purple-mech suit she'd invented to move the boxes into the moving-van impressing Rocket but also Casey, Rocket told her to make herself useful guessing she'd saved the movers or Bruce the trouble seeing Howard's car making her excited meaning Linda and her could get going deactivating her mech-suit hugging Linda.
"She's been ready to go, since you woke herup mentally." Rocket told Linda seeing her grin.
"Yeah but don't worry, we'll get goiing once we say goodbye to your moms." Rocket told them.
Linda and Shocket then hugged Darci and Gamora unaware that they'd been worrying about them, kissing them plus saw them getting in Howard's car which had the moving-van attached to it leaving as Casey and Emily were watching from their bedrooms waving knowing their mom was probably upset knowing their dad would be emotional dropping Shocket off at the New Warriors penthouse-apartment seeing RJ curious about what was happening.
"Whoa, we're here, and hope we can do this, like our dads think we can." Shocket said to Linda after they'd arrived at their new place and helped move their stuff ijto their room with Shocket using her mech-suit impressing not just Linda but Tech Support otherwise known as Charlie Banner as the one in the purple mech-suit was the team's new leader knowing hissister, Bree would get alomg with her after what Rocket had told him about Shocket but also Linda hearing giggling, seeing Jewel his niece running around pulling on Rocket's armoured leg making him chuckle because he knew she was just being curious like RJ seeing Cambria Banner there, seeing Jewel come over to her making her giggle but happy Linda and Shocket were here alomg with Firestar, Gravity, Itsy-Bitsy makijg Linda in awe at their new friends/team-mates noticing Shocket anxious, until seeing Susan-Murphy who was Itsy-Bitsy had a mohawk too makijg Linda gulp, Shocket was proud of her mohawk needing to explaining
"She's very proud of it, as that's how she came out of the cloning-machine, it takes her a while to get used to new people and places but you guys seem so nice, only what does that guy do." Linda told her pointing at Charlie makijg Rocket sigh knowing Shocket might freak if she knew Charlie was babysitting most of the team, knowing that things would be alright once they got settled seeing Charlie fist-bump him after Shocket huggedhim whichCambria found sweet knowing she could help both Linda and Shocket settle in.
"Woah, we've got a she-Hulk on our team, that's so awesome." Shocket said hearing her giggle.
"The name's Cambria Banner or Bree as those who know me like my brother, Charlie call me and that's my daughter, Jewel." she told them introducing each member of the team to them giving Linda an idea asking if they liked shwarma seeing them nodding plus Bree dunked a whipped-cream pie in Shocket'sface hearing her laughing hysterically like Rocket stunning the others including Charlie knowing Rocket would be happy, hearing his lil troublemaker was breaking the ice slowly but good she was starting to bond with his sister as they were ordering in, from Shwarma Palace seeing Susan go get the food using her Spidey-powers impressing Shocket guessing she was related to Spidey like her sister, Emily being half symbiote stunning them.
"Relax, Emmy's a good egg, trust me." she told them.
"Yeah as she's cleamed up the planet." Shocket assured them.
