This following Fan Fiction series was written out of inspiration from the video games, shows and films of Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog and Hasbro's My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. It features elements from each product released by Sega and Hasbro combined and recreated in certain ways to make this story, along with a limited number of characters and plot points from Archie Comics and IDW Publishing. This also includes elements from the Sonic the Hedgehog film by Paramount Pictures when it comes to Mobian designs (so yes, all Mobians have separate eyes) and concepts borrowed from other fan stories such as the rewritten Sonic game stories by YouTuber Garrulous64 and comics such as upcoming Sonic Chaos Adventure by YouTube channel Team Chaos. Other certain elements and plot points are similar and inspired by other fan stories such as "Break the Walls Down" by Super Saiyan D on FIM Fiction. Please support the original creators for making these worlds we've come to know and love.
Existence is unique, isn't it? Do you ever wonder what would happen if different dimensions were to exist outside of our own knowledge and had crossed over together? Would they befriend each other? Would they go to war? There are limitless possibilities about what could happen if it was true. Endless possibilities.
What would you think of the possibility where there are countless realities which happen to have lifeforms that people like us only see in a comic book or a show? Fictional characters exist as truly living beings and much of their stories are similar to the ones that authors had written about them, if not entirely the same.
In one world, there was a magical place called Equestria. It was a land full of ponies each representing a different race; earth-pony, unicorn and pegasus. Many centuries ago, it was once a collection of farms and pastures until the Ram emperor, Grogar, gave power to strong lifeforms and allowed them to destroy those who were vulnerable. However, he was defeated when Gusty the Great took his magic bell and hid it away. Over the years, it grew into one of the greatest countries in this particular world.
Today, Equestria had recently earned its newest Princess Alicorn, Twilight Sparkle. She was once a regular unicorn like all the others and one of the best students of Princess Celestia, an alicorn who would use her magic to raise the sun at dawn. A thousand years ago, Celestia was forced to banish her sister, Princess Luna. Luna had grown full of envy as she saw the civilians play and run in her sister's bright sunlight but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. When the bitterness in her heart had taken full control, she became a wicked mare of darkness; Nightmare Moon and vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal night. Having no other choice, Celestia had to use a pair of objects known as the Elements of Harmony to defeat her descended sister, artifacts that were part of a special tree that was planted by the two sisters' old mentor, Starswirl the Bearded. The tree had grown to become the Tree of Harmony, where the Elements were created.
For all those years, Nightmare Moon had been banished to the moon until there were signs of her eventual escape. Seeing said signs, Celestia sent her fateful student, Twilight, to a diverse town called Ponyville to make some friends in order to unleash the hidden Magic of Friendship. Twilight made friends with a unicorn named Rarity, two earth ponies named Pinkie Pie and Applejack and two pegasus ponies named Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Together they rediscovered the Elements of Harmony and used them to defeat Nightmare Moon and turn her back into Princess Luna. They became well known as their group called the Mane 6.
Over the years, Twilight became worthy of becoming a new Princess for Equestria and had become an Alicorn. However, she was having trouble adjusting to her new wings and was unsure of her responsibility in her homeland. This night, this present time, she would go on an adventure to a new world.
Twilight, her friends, and the two sisters had recently arrived at the Crystal Empire. It was nighttime, and the guards were on night security while everyone else was asleep. However, behind a pair of doors, a bright light shone through the tiny locks, and someone slightly opened one of the doors peeking through. As one of the guards walked through the hallway using his horn to light his way, he didn't notice a hooded pony quietly passing by behind him. The hooded figure moved through the halls until they reached a door. The handle was surrounded by an aqua-greenish unicorn magic aura and the door slowly opened, confirming that this pony was a unicorn.
As it turned out, this was Princess Twilight's room. She was asleep in her bed with his number one assistant, Spike the Dragon sleeping next to her in his own private little bed. The hooded unicorn stepped towards the desk next to Twilight's bed. On it was a golden crown that had a purple crystal star on it, Twilight's Element of Harmony, the Element of Magic. As the unicorn picked up the crown with their magic, it accidentally hit the lamp and it almost hit the floor and made a sound if the unicorn didn't catch it. They quickly checked to make sure that Twilight and Spike didn't hear anything and were still asleep, and fortunately for the thief, they were. They put the lamp back on the desk and the crown into their cloak while pulling out a fake copy and placing it on the desk in its place.
The unicorn started to sneak back out, but Spike turned over in his sleep and his tail got in the unicorn's way causing them to trip and collapse to the floor with a grunt, "OOF!"
The sound of the fall caused Spike to wake up in surprise, "Huh? What?"
Twilight yawned as she woke up and looked to see the unicorn on the floor. She gasped as she saw her crown in the unicorn's case, "My crown! She's got my crown!"
The unicorn busted the door open and started running for it. Twilight yelled at the unicorn, "Stop! Thief!"
Twilight's yelling caused Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Rainbow Dash to wake up and open their doors. They saw Twilight running down the hall after the unicorn, "She's stolen my crown!"
The unicorn ran fast with Twilight close behind them. Twilight used her magic to perform a teleportation spell and appear in front of the unicorn around the corner, "Stop!"
But the unicorn performed the same spell while causing their hood to fly onto Twilight. The unicorn was revealed to be female with an orange coat, red and yellow hair and aqua-greenish blue eyes. She started running again only to see Twilight and her group right on her tail. Twilight jumped forward and collided with the unicorn, busting open the same doors she came through before into a room and they both fell onto the floor. The crown flew out of the unicorn's bag and bounced around the room until it ricocheted off the floor and into a mirror. But instead of it colliding into the glass and breaking, it went straight through with a bright flash of light and magic, like a portal.
And it was gone. Vanished. Just like that.
Twilight and her friends all gasped when they witnessed this, and the unicorn smirked with confidence. Twilight angrily asked her, "What did you do with my crown?!"
The unicorn smirked, "Sorry it had to be this way…"
The unicorn then used her teleportation spell again and appeared right in front of the mirror, "...Princess."
Without hesitation, the unicorn jumped into the mirror and disappeared. The Mane 6 and Spike all gasped in shock. "Who was that?" Fluttershy asked.
That will be for us to find out. However, this moment was simply part of what was to come in this story.
In another universe, the planet known as Mobius was a world populated by many different species of plants and animals. A thousand years ago before the time of Mobius, the world was known as Earth where humans were the most advanced species of the planet, much like you and me in the real world. They had spent thousands of years evolving and changing the world with ideas, inventions and the growth of their population. Until one day, estimated to be within the 2200s, a mysterious asteroid crashed upon the earth, changing the course of nature for the world forever. Within the meteorite was a clan of small aliens known as Chao, and with them were the gemstones that held the greatest power ever known; the seven Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald. With their power of Chaos, the terrain of the world changed, bringing forth the Ring Rivers… and rapidly evolving the life of the world at a near instant.
Over the course of the centuries, there were those who sought to harness the power of Chaos for themselves. The tribe of echidnas, the Mobians most gifted by the Emeralds, foresaw the threat and swore to protect them from the misuse of their power. However, those on Mobius weren't the only beings seeking out the power; there were powerful beings from other worlds, other dimensions, even other universes that desired to use this power in their conquest to gain absolute power and control all life with utter chaos. Despite all of this, the echidnas, humans and allied Mobians stood together and protected the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald from those threats.
But unfortunately, there are those on the side of protectors that can fall to the dark. Five hundred years ago somewhere in the 2710s, the chief of the Echidna tribe, Pachacamac, grew corrupt by the Emeralds, believing that the Echidnas were the only ones worthy of their power and anyone else gifted with that same power was a threat to the clan that had to be eliminated, no matter the cost. His warmongering soon came at a great cost; his act of indiscrimination incurred the wrath of Chaos itself, and every echidna under Pachamcamac's service was wiped out. In order to protect the world from Chaos' anger, the chief's daughter Tikal, who severely disapproved of his actions, ultimately sacrificed her body and soul to the Master Emerald. She sealed herself and Chaos inside it, saving all of Mobius and ending the war caused by the corrupted echidnas.
From that day forward, Mobians and humans have made peace with one another following the story of Tikal's sacrifice. The remaining members of the echidna tribe that never supported Pachamcamac's actions, allied with the Mobius Council and the Guardian Units of Nations to form the greatest team of heroes that swore to protect the power of the Emeralds, the Chaos Guardians; a group of the strongest, smartest and enduring of Mobians and humans of the world. Warriors, scholars, mages, soldiers, scientists. Each Emerald was placed in one of the regions of Mobius with a specific member of the Guardians to keep their power safe and ensure peace. Sharing the power and bringing them together only when the world would need them most.
In the present day in 3236, there was a female Mobian hedgehog reading a book called the "Tales of Earth and Mobius" to a group of Mobian and human children. The room they sat in was part of the Mobotropolis Library with a fireplace on the side and open windows with the sunlight providing light. The hedgehog reading the story in the chair appeared to be in her early 40s. She had fuschia purple fur that also doubled as her hair on her head with a mix of cerulean blue highlights that cleanly faded into the purple, peach fur on her muzzle and arms, and her eyes were emerald green. She wore a cloud gray off-shoulder shirt with a cobalt blue short sleeve bolero jacket over it, a cerulean blue box-pleated skirt and white and black wedge boots. She also wore pure white gloves with fuschia pink bracelets for cuffs, a gold ring on her left ring finger indicating that she was married, and a rosewood pink purse with the strap over her shoulder.
The hedgehog read the final sentences of the story, a calm yet bright smile as she looked down to the children, "To this day, the Chaos Guardians, GUN and the Mobius Council continue to work together and protect the Chaos and Master Emeralds, allowing us all to live in peace and harmony. The end."
Upon closing the book, the hedgehog watched each of the children cheer while clapping in amazement from the story. One of the Mobian children, a male dog, raised his hand as he had a question to ask, "Mrs. Hedgehog, what would happen if any of those invaders from the past ever returned to Mobius?"
Mrs. Hedgehog chuckled as she sat on the floor on her knees, "Well, it has after all been centuries since they first invaded our planet, but if they ever did come back, we would be ready for them as we have the Mobius Council, GUN and the Chaos Guardians allied with one another."
This time a female human child asked her own question, "Oh! Oh! And what about the heroes that have been saving us from that evil robot doctor? Would they team up with the other heroes too?"
Mrs. Hedgehog chuckled, "Why, of course. They would work together regardless of their differences."
At that moment, there was the sound of an alarm clock going off. Mrs. Hedgehog checked the watch on her wrist and the time was 7 PM. She was quick to stand up from the floor, "Oh, okay, children. It's time for the library to close. I'm happy to have found the time to meet you and tell you a story. Go find your parents now and have a good night."
With that, the children all gathered their backpacks and began heading out of the room. Mrs. Hedgehog kept her bright smile as she watched them cheerfully leave the room to find their parents. And as soon as she was the only one left in the room…
She frowned. Looking down at the floor. Gripping her arm. She walked towards the window and looked outside, seeing Mobian and human civilians walking and talking with one another as the sun was setting behind the distant hills. The buildings had holographic posters and live news on the sides and tops, some of which were about popular soda brands based off of famous celebrities such as the high-spirited fashion designer Honey the Cat.
Mrs. Hedgehog rested her head on her palm with her elbow on the stool of the window. A single tear had formed in her eye and slowly slid down her face as she pondered quietly, "Where are you, my sweet blue boy?"
After a moment with a quiet sigh, she turned and walked away from the window while wiping her tears off. But mere seconds after she was away from the window, something could be seen high in the sky. Hundreds of stories above Mobotropolis. Some kind of a beam of light traveling fast through the air.
Somewhere far away by the ends of the world was one of the coldest locations on the planet; White Acropolis, a pair of cold, snowy mountains connected to the deep blue ocean. There was a massive futuristic sci-fi military base all around and connected through some of the mountains. Giant open hangars in the higher cliffs each with a long runway and advanced fighter jets along with equipment in crates. Near the surface was a massive and long platform with terrain vehicles parked on the side, highly advanced submarines and ships parked next to the docks in the water, multiple watchtowers and buildings connected to the walls of the mountains with entrances, and a number of both Mobian and human soldiers on duty with highly advanced laser guns ranging from shotguns to SMGs and pistols in holsters. The soldiers were accompanied by different types of highly advanced robots, ranging from flying drones with guns and lasers to swatbots and even AI vehicles. Some were also carrying supplies around the area.
Though the robots and soldiers differed from each other in a lot of ways, there was something they had in common; they all shared the colour scheme of red and black with hints of yellow and silver. On their shoulders or backs was the logo of a red circle with a big toothy smile, angry eyes and a long messy mustache. They were all under the service of someone; someone with immense power and control.
As the robots and soldiers were doing their work, there was the sound of what seemed to be a jet approaching from far away. It was the same beam of light that was flying over Mobotropolis. As it approached the platform below, it began to slow down as the light began to fade, revealing it to be a "living" thing inside it.
Upon hitting the ground, the source of the light was revealed to be a highly advanced robot. It was built in the image of a Mobian blue hedgehog and thus mostly built with azure blue metal. Its overall size was between the average height of a fully-grown Mobian and that of a young adult human. It had a bright yellow circular depression in his chest with a dark center, possibly mirroring his organic counterpart while also working as its Plasma Pulse blaster. On its back was a rocket engine which gave him the ability to fly. Its head had three metal fins resembling Mobian quills, a pair of triangular "ears", a silver muzzle with a sharp pointy "nose", and optical sensors with black sclera and red irises. Its shoulder plates, upper arms, legs and fingers were all made out of silvery metal. Its palms were black while the back of its hands were yellow square plates. Its slightly sturdy forearms were azure blue, its right one equipped with a retractable mounted machine gun and its left with a retractable missile launcher. Its lower legs had the same blue colour as its head, torso and forearms, and it had red feet with white strips on the bottom.
The robot was holding something in its hands, a bright green gemstone twice the size of a soccer ball with a bright glow of light and energy emitting from the inside; the Master Emerald itself. Whatever purpose there was for collecting it was yet to be discovered. The robot walked towards the main building and entered an opening elevator door.
Underneath the water was possibly the most active part of the fortress; a massive underground/water factory. In this part of the base, there were multiple locations connected to a massive hallway each with windows that showed the environment in the ocean. In the main area, there were swatbots and soldiers working hard on building weapons and powering up more machines for their leader's army.
Over the soldiers and robots' heads was a highly advanced office in a balcony fully covered in forcefields for windows. This office was for the very person in charge of this entire facility. This very person was a tall and slightly overweight man. His head was bald with a pair of gray goggles with red lenses on top, a pair of blue-coloured mirrored pince-nez glasses over his eyes, a mahogany orange-coloured overgrown mustache, a bunch of small hairs on his chin, no hair for his eyebrows and his nose had a pinkish-red sunburn. He wore a ruby-red jacket which had silver zipper-like linings going down his arms with a short canary yellow triangle pointing out from the linings on his shoulders both on the front and back, a shade of iron-gray on the elbows of the jacket, a bright yellow cuff on the end of both sleeves each with a triangular notch cut, and a lining of wine red on the front going down from his neck with another zipper-like lining in the very middle. He had a pair of gloves in the colours of coal-black on the backside and white on the palm side, but what made his left glove stand out more was that it was made with a uniquely designed controller which included a small yet advanced screen on the wrist and small buttons on the bottom of his palm. He also wore black countered trousers with a pair of black boots with bright silver accents.
The man stood close to the forcefield windows with his hands behind his back, watching as his loyal soldiers and machines performed their duties; none stopping, none complaining. Just doing their job. No questions asked. After a quick inhale and exhale, the man turned around and took a few steps towards a desk with a computer on holographic screens. He took a seat in his chair and began to type in his password; the three words "hate that hedgehog" but all in one massive word and with the A's, E's and O replaced with 4s, 3s, and 0. Once he was logged in, he selected a record button with the touch screen and the screen itself began to record him.
The man rested his chin over his hands as he took a deep breath and began to speak, "My name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik, though the world knows me more under the alias of Dr. Eggman. I'm the grandson of the late Professor Gerald Robotnik. I have five PhDs, a three-hundred IQ, and I possess truly revolutionary technology. This is likely to be my last doctor's log before this planned event I've brainstormed for months. For those of you that are new, I will give a brief summary of what has happened over the past twelve years. Not that anyone out there ever has an interest in these logs."
As Eggman began summarizing his story, he taped in a code and images of different people and locations began to show up in his recording. The first image showed Mobotropolis along with two separate images of two specific Mobian chipmunks, focused on their faces. Both images contained their date of birth, their background and other information. The older male chipmunk was King Nigel Acorn and the younger female was his daughter, Princess Sally.
"On June 13th, 3224, I arrived in Mobotropolis after my banishment five years prior when they saw me as a monster after my proposal to find the perfect cure for that disease and pushed me out. I was all prepared with my attack force to grant them their wish; they wanted me to be the villain, I would be the villain. I laid waste to the city to show my dominance as I searched for one of the Chaos Emerald that was hidden inside the king's palace. Though my operation was successful, with some bumps in the road here and there, this was the day that he showed up."
All present images were replaced with one large image of a particular male Mobian hedgehog, fully presented from head to foot. He had blue fur with some peach muzzle fur for his belly, his arms had blue fur on the outer side and peach fur on the inner side and his eyes were emerald green. The seven quills on the back of his head and the spines on his back all had small blue solid quills. There were also a pair of scars on the left side of his stomach and a small one over his right eye. On his hands were white gloves which had light gray on the palm side with grip pads and a shade of chartreuse green on the cuffs with the Light Gaia bracelet on his right wrist. His right ear had an infrared scope attached with an arctic blue lens in front of his right eye and a thin microphone. His shoes were light and dark red striped Puma Dare sneakers with white straps and yellow puma tags. He also had a backpack on his back which was bright cobalt blue with bright scarlet red and gold yellow streaks.
With the information shown on the right, the hedgehog's name was Sonic at the age of 17 years. Five known birth family members were listed with their names only; his mother Aleena, his father Yeager, his uncle Charles "Chuck" who was Aleena's older brother, his twin brother Manic and his twin sister Sonia. Aleena and Chuck were marked alive but Yeager was marked missing-in-action, reported to have disappeared in 3222. A few of his features included having super speed and actually having used the power of all seven of the Chaos Emeralds combined more than once.
"This particular hedgehog, Sonic, was present in Mobotropolis that day. The details are blurry, but he's the very first Mobian that is not an echidna to be naturally born with Chaos energy. Due to a… certain incident that occurred, he had begun being an inconvenience to me. No, more than an inconvenience; a nuisance. An opponent. An adversary. All to stop me from achieving what must be done; evolution. And he's grown a team of 'heroes'."
Sonic's profile was swiped to the left out of view and was replaced with eight new profiles, each with a specific Mobian involving their names, known family members, and specific details of their backgrounds.
The first profile focused on a 15-year-old male Mobian fox named Miles "Tails" Prower with a unique genetic mutation giving him two tails instead of one, possibly hence his nickname. He had mostly yellow-orange fur with three locks of hair on his forehead. His eyes were the colour of sky blue. He also had white fur which was around his muzzle with cheek tuffs, his front torso, and the tips of his tails. The tips of his ears and part of his tails had a shade of brown. He was wearing a pair of brown goggles with orange lenses on his head, a cerulean blue pilot scarf around his neck, an unzipped short-sleeve penny brown pilot jacket with a strap-belt which had a pair of packs on it around his waist and over his shoulder underneath the coat, a pair of white and penny brown gloves with a communicator watch on his left wrist, penny brown socks and a pair of running shoes in the colours of silver-grey on the front, white on the top and candy red on the bottom.
Tails' profile showed that he had been orphaned since birth as his parents had passed from a tragic accident and he was adopted into Sonic's family when he was eight years old. Some of his features included using his twin tails like helicopter blades to fly, having an IQ of 300, a degree of autism, and being an expert airplane and mech pilot. He also built various equipment and gear in the past, including an enhanced gauntlet blaster which was his most commonly used weapon in battle.
The second profile was about Knuckles, an 18-year-old male Mobian echidna who was the current grandmaster of the Chaos Guardians. He had crimson red fur with a white crescent-shaped patch of white on his chest, peach-coloured muzzle fur, seven dreadlock-like spines on his head and violet purple eyes. He had several small scars on his face and a few long ones on his chest and arms, along with stripes of white war paint on his spines and face. He wore a mocha brown cape wrapped around his neck which had strains of white on certain areas and green streaks, a pair of large boxing gloves with the index finger separated in the colours of charcoal black on the palm side and gray and white on the backside with permanently attached shovel claws that could adjust forward or back, a communicator watch on his left wrist, and a pair of garnet red, blonde yellow and white mountain boots with black laces and patches of lime green on the front.
Knuckles' only known family member was his father, Aryan who had lost his life along with a massive number of echidnas during a conflict with an unknown jackal clan. His features showed he was capable of super strength, he had a strong connection to the Emeralds and he was the protector of the Master Emerald on Angel Island, a land that grew out of the ground following the events of the Chaos-powered meteor's arrival to Earth with the Chao. His home on Angel Island where he protected the Master Emerald was located in the echidna tribe's original land, the ancient Mystic Ruins in the very middle of the island while the populated advanced city with technology and greenery, Sky Sanctuary, was at the top of the mountains in the clouds.
The third profile gave details of Amy Rose, a 14-year-old female Mobian hedgehog who had fuschia pink fur, peach coloured muzzle fur with the same colour of peach on her arms, a scar on the left side of her face within the muzzle, and emerald green eyes. She had three spikes for bangs on the front of her head and five head quills pointed downward which had grown to her upper back with a black and candy red headband with a golden piece of the ends with two small feathers in the colours of black, red and pink which she called 'The Warrior Feather'. Around her neck was a cerulean blue bandana. She wore a strawberry pink sleeveless non-zipper hoodie with a strawberry pink skirt in the style for that of a warrior with a black strap around her waist. The skirt had white on the back and pink with black highlight details on the front, a streak of magenta pink on the bottom, a pocket on both sides of the skirt and black skin-tight shorts underneath it. On her arms were white and magenta pink elbow-length gloves with gold yellow plastic knuckles, white elbow pads and a golden communicator watch on her right wrist. She also wore a pair of strawberry pink boots with white highlights on the outer and inner sides as well as black laces on the outer side. On her knees were white and black knee pads and in her hand.
Amy was known as one of Sonic's closest allies and one of the toughest fighters on Mobius. She often carried her favourite weapon, the Piko Piko Hammer, which she made some upgrades to with Tails' help over the years, including the adjustable handle and a built-in strap that could swap out depending on what mode they were set to. She was also known to be an expert in tarot cards and it was even rumoured that she once wielded a bow and arrows.
The fourth profile presented Cream, a 13-year-old female Mobian rabbit with banana-yellow coloured fur with Princeton orange markings around her eyes and at the ends of her ears, white muzzle fur and peanut-brown coloured eyes. She was wearing a chartreuse green sleeveless jumpsuit with a coffee brown belt, a coffee brown short sleeve jacket with a marigold orange hood and cuffs at the end of the sleeves and a split at the bottom back for her tail, white gloves with honey orange cuffs and fingers with a communicator watch on her left wrist, marigold orange socks, and cider-orange and pebble gray shoes with a hint of lime green.
Cream was the youngest member of Sonic's team, raised by her mother Vanilla and best friends with a Chao named Cheese. She was quick to join alongside Sonic and his friends some time ago when her mother was kidnapped and proved that she was more than just a young girl that had to stay behind. She was capable of flight by using her ears as wings and known to be the most kind and pure of heart out of the rest of the team.
The fifth profile was on Shadow, a male Mobian and Black Arms hybrid hedgehog created by Professor Gerald Robotnik over fifty years ago. His muzzle fur was yellowish-peach coloured, his eyes were bright red, and he had coal-black fur with crimson red highlights on his quills and tail as well as a patch of white fur on his chest. A small earpiece with a radio next to his mouth was attached to his ear. He had a pair of gloves with white on the palm side and smoke gray on the fingertips while the backside was black, and attached to the gloves were black cuffs which had red coloured GUN technology that held a modified Warp Ring on the back of his hand which he could use as an alternative use of teleporting if his connection to Chaos Control had somehow vanished. He also had highly advanced air shoes in the colours of red, white and black which could be powered by his Chaos energy. Additionally, he also had large gold rings on his wrists and ankles; his Inhibitor Rings, and bright red knee pads and elbow pads.
Shadow was created on Space Colony ARK in outer space with unique Choas abilities due to their energy being used in his creation. Gerald Robotnik created Shadow for the purpose of finding a cure to a disease that his late granddaughter Maria was born with. But due to GUN believing that he was created to be a weapon and that Black Arms DNA was involved in the experiment, they attacked the ARK and arrested Gerald. Maria was mortally wounded in the process and made a dying wish for Shadow to protect Mobius and its people no matter what. At first, Shadow's mind was altered by Gerald for revenge against Mobius for Maria's death, but after regaining his true memories, he sacrificed himself to save it. He was later discovered to have survived and continued to protect Mobius after the Black Arms led by Black Doom came to invade the planet. Shadow was one of the most powerful Chaos users in Mobius, harnessing abilities most could not. He grew in ranks and became one of GUN's best agents.
The sixth profile focused on Rouge, a 19-year-old female Mobian bat with white fur, marigold muzzle fur, bright pink lipstick on her lips, dark purple wings on her back and teal-green eyes with light blue eyeshadow. She had an advanced device similar to Sonic's infrared scope, but with a blue screen in front of her right eye attached to her right ear with no visible microphone, though it seemed advanced enough to not even need one. She wore a tight-fitting GUN stealth agent suit which had her creative choices designed into it; charcoal gray with shades of eggplant purple and fuschia pink highlights on the outer sides, a hot pink heart on the chest with knee and elbow pads in the colours of hot pink, a bright silver belt with a sky blue heart in the center and small packs on the side, a pink holster with an enhanced blaster pistol on her right leg, the GUN logo on her left shoulder, white gloves with bright pink detail, and white boots connected to the suit with some bright pink highlights and detail as well.
A former jewel thief and an expert in stealth and tactics, Rouge was one of Mobius' best spies and agents for GUN. She first joined Sonic's team during the time Shadow was first revealed to the world while she was working as an undercover spy for the president. She became close friends with Shadow and their robot friend, Omega; a former Eggman robot who rebelled against his creator for reasons still unknown to the public. While manipulative and still obsessive over gemstones at times, Rouge was known to have a strong care for her allies and friends.
The seventh profile was on Silver, a 16-year-old male Mobian hedgehog who had a very light gray coat, white fur around his neck, tan muzzle fur, and golden yellow eyes. He wore a raven black suit with cyan highlights on the side, a pair of gloves that were denim-blue on the palm side and white on the back with cyan circles and highlights leading to the golden bracelets on his wrists, and a pair of boots that had the same bracelet design on the top as the rest of his footwear were navy blue, white and cyan. The suit had short sleeves both for the arms and legs and even covered the quills on his back with highlights on them as well. He also had a communicator earpiece on his right ear to contact his allies.
Silver was born with Chaos Psychokinesis, an extremely rare form of Chaos energy for any Mobian to use. He formerly came from a now non-existent timeline twenty five years in the future where the world was almost completely engulfed in fire by the flames of disaster, Iblis. Desperate to save the world, he came to the present while being manipulated by a dark being known as Mephilis the Dark to hunt down the Chaos Emeralds before he befriended Blaze and realized he was being used. After the defeat of the threat to the future and with Blaze's help, Silver's place in the timeline was altered so now he existed in the present.
The final profile was about Blaze, a 16-year-old female Mobian cat with lavender and violet purple fur, white muzzle fur and gold yellow eyes. She wore a sleeveless skin-tight suit in the colours of white and violet purple with magenta-purple highlights, a mauve purple sleeveless robe with magenta-purple highlights, a pair of orchid purple gloves with white and hot pink furry cuffs and her communicator watch on her left hand, and Fuschia pink and white shoes.
Blaze was the current princess and ruler of the secret kingdom of Soleanna. She and her people's ancestors from five centuries ago were originally from their own Mobius in the Sol Dimension, but they were forced to leave their world behind as Iblis was laying waste to that planet and leaving it unable to survive. The survivors created their new kingdom and home on a massive island and used the unique powers of the Sol Emeralds, interdimensional counterparts to the Chaos Emeralds, to create a barrier that hid the island from the public's eyes, as long as they were far away enough from the barrier's range. Blaze's family over the years were the guardians of the Sol Emeralds and possessed Chaos Pyrokinesis to control fire. Blaze was first discovered by Cream when the Sol Emeralds went missing, and though her first meeting with Sonic had only led to an escalating rivalry, she became a close ally and friend to the team after they helped her find the Sol Emeralds to keep Soleanna safe from public threats.
"It has been twelve years ever since our very first conflict. For twelve years, we've fought. I fought for the purpose of evolution, Sonic fought for 'freedom'. Countless times we've battled for victory, countless times I have lost to that wretched blue rodent. And sometimes when we've had to put our differences aside."
Multiple images began to appear, showing various events from the past; adventures that Sonic and his team had gone through. All the way from their very first battle against Eggman on South Island, to redeeming Chaos, preventing the planet's destruction by Space Colony ARK, resisting against the Black Arms, and one of the most haunting battle of all time in Mobius' history; the battle for the survival of reality against the ancient multidimensional and time god of destruction known as Solaris.
"However, there was one event in particular just six months ago… when the planetoid known as the Lost Hex came into contact with Mobius."
New images appeared, showing Sonic and his team's latest adventure and conflict against the Deadly Six, a team of Zeti that out of desperation to survive and wanting to be left alone attempted to drain Mobius of all its life in order to strengthen themselves. Though their leader Zavok became consumed by the power and wished to become a conqueror, his allies didn't approve of his actions or his behavior towards them and abandoned him.
"Sonic and his allies were once again successful in Mobius' survival, but what happened after that was something even I didn't expect…"
A new image of a newspaper revealed itself, showing that days after the Zeti's attack on Mobius, Sonic had vanished and hadn't been seen in public by anyone ever since.
"But that doesn't matter. For today, my latest plan is about to be put into action. I will draw him out, and I will finally be able to get rid of Sonic the Hedgehog once and for all. May all of Mobius finally be truly saved by my intellect."
After recording his final words, Eggman taped the button and ended his log with a sigh. Momentarily afterwards, he heard the sound of the elevator door opening behind him and he turned around in his chair to see who it was. When the elevator door fully opened and the robot hedgehog was revealed with the Master Emerald, Eggman gave a smirk of approval, "Well done, Metal Sonic. You've completed your mission well. That makes phase two of the new plan complete."
Eggman stood up from his chair and walked towards the elevator to join Metal. As the doctor's little lackeys, Orbot and Cubot, followed him in, he tapped in a code on the glove controller that granted him access to a restricted location only for him to use. The doors shifted shut and the elevator slowly went down deep underground. Once it reached its destination, Eggman, Metal and the two robots stepped out of the elevator. The area was almost completely pitch black with small lights in a line shining a path leading to a control panel. As Eggman and his lackeys approached a control panel, Metal carried the Master Emerald over them and placed it into a contraption with claws that held it in place. The control panel was powered on and Eggman began tapping in the buttons as lights turned on in front of him, revealing a large circular room made of his advanced tech, but with nothing of notice inside.
Once Eggman had tapped in what he needed to on the control panel, he stood up straight with his arms crossed while with one hand on his chin, a sinister grin building up on his face followed by a creepy chuckle, "And now for phase three of my latest plan. All of our battles, all of our fights, every single utter, humiliating defeat that I have suffered at the hands of that meddling hedgehog will be forgotten."
Once Eggman was done with his coding, he headed back into the elevator with his lackeys and tapped the "up" button. As the elevator door began to close, Eggman gently pulled on his mustache as his sinister grin kept itself shown, "I hope you and your friends are ready to come out of disbandment, Sonic. Because I want you to come together again. So they can all watch as I finally get rid of you… once and for all."
The door to the elevator shut closed, showing the doctor's Eggman Empire symbol on it which glowed red as the lift started moving back up. What could this plan be that Eggman has for Sonic? What did he mean by "disbandment"? If Sonic and his friends were disbanded, what happened? And how will they get back together again?
