Disclaimer: I do not own anything related to the Ice and Fire Novels, Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon TV shows. However, I decided to have a little play around with the characters. I do not earn any money from writing these stories, it is for my entertainment and is something I like to share.

WARNING Potential spoilers for House of the Dragon

Anyone who has come across my work before will know I am used to writing TVD fanfic (specifically romantic Delena stuff) and not Game of Thrones, so this is a new challenge for me. In one of my TVD stories, the favourite scenes I wrote tended to be the slightly more action packed ones, and contrary to popular belief I absolutely hated writing love scenes, but they were necessary. In this story I will not shy away from them when they become necessary, but I will not write the type of brothel scenes we get in the show where Littlefinger has a monologue while auditioning for prostitutes.

There are many rumours going around about the sequel to GoT called Snow, which I am all in favour of as Jon was my absolute favourite major character in the show. Had anyone have asked me about it prior to HotD being aired, I would have been a little sceptical about where they could go with his story, however after watching the HotD, I am leaning even further into Jon being the Prince that was Promised and if correct, according to HotD his arc has yet to be fulfilled. I believe that to complete the story, it would have required another 2 seasons, which the showrunners did not want to do and possibly felt there would be issues with as one of the major fandoms would have been unhappy with the death of their beloved character (Dany).

If they do go ahead with the show, I suspect the ending of my story and theirs may ultimately be similar, albeit not entirely the same. One of the issues in question is the Jonsa theory, something I personally do subscribe to, although the showrunners may see it differently. This story will have a Jonsa theme although do not expect them to magically fall in love in the first five chapters, at the rate of my writing it will take multiple chapters for them to even lay eyes on one another.

This story is my theory on how the show was supposed to end. I am not changing anything which happened in the show, everyone who died in the show will stay dead. The story is simply a continuation to circle it around to the natural ending (or how I believed it should have ended).

As in the books, the chapters will be written in first person, with each chapter dedicated to that individual. This means some chapters will be long and some incredibly short. I hope to release at least one chapter per week, but it depends on how many chapters need to be written before I decide which order they ought to go in. I have discovered there is a huge difference in the organisation of chapters between this and TVD. Writing the story in the correct order is not as straightforward as I expected when I started.

Once chapter 1 has been proofread and edited, I will release it, hopefully later today.
