Chapter 1
(Year 1999)
The Allen family was on their way home after going out for dinner with their 10 year old son. They had arrived in their driveway when they noticed a blonde haired boy unconscious on the ground. He looked to be around their son Barry's age. Nora runs to check to make sure he was okay when he had various injuries on him.
"Henry! He needs to be taken to the hospital!" She alerted her husband who nodded.
"Let's go! We need to hurry too with how extensive his injuries are. Sorry Barry, we'll be making a trip to the hospital tonight instead of watching a movie." Henry apologized to his son.
"It's okay dad. He needs our help. It wouldn't be right to leave him like that as he is." Barry said.
The family of three drove off to the hospital with Naruto to get him treated in the hope of getting him as soon as possible.
Three hours later
Naruto was rushed to the hospital and was now in surgery with the amount of blood he had lost along with needing injuries treated.
The three had been worried about the boy hoping he would be okay, especially Barry. Henry and Nora were hoping that he would be okay and had made it to the hospital in time to save him. He's been in surgery for three hours now when the lead surgeon walked out in relief towards the Allen family.
"Is he okay?" Barry asked.
His parents smiled at how much their son was worrying about the mystery boy as they were hoping he was okay too.
"He'll be just fine. It's a wonder he had survived at all given what type of wounds he had taken. He will be in rehab for some time though. You the ones who brought him in I assume?" The surgeon asked.
Henry and Nora sighed in relief knowing that he was going to be okay. "Yes we are. I'm a doctor myself and we were coming home from dinner when we saw him passed out on our lawn. My wife checked to make sure he was okay when we saw how bad he looked and knew we had to get to the hospital quickly." Henry explained.
"It's a good thing you did, otherwise I'm not sure we could've saved him in time. Does he have any family or relatives that we can contact?" He asked.
"We didn't see anything on him. His clothing was rather odd too now that I think about it." Henry said.
"We'll have to wait until he wakes up so we can find out more about him. Why don't you go home now and rest? It's late enough as it is." The surgeon suggested.
"Okay. Thank you doctor." Henry said leaving with Barry when he noticed Nora didn't follow them out.
"Honey? Are you coming?" He asked.
"I'm going to stay with him. He'll need someone when he wakes up. I don't know why, but I feel drawn to him, Henry." Nora said.
"Are you sure? They can call us when he wakes up?" He asked.
"I'm sure. I'll be fine Henry." She said before looking at Barry. "I'll be back later, okay Bare." She said.
"Okay mom. I just hope he wakes up soon." Barry said, frowning at his situation.
Nora smiled, kissing his forehead. "You're such a kind boy Barry. I'm sure he will wake up soon. Do you want to see him when he does?" She asked getting a nod from him as they left.
Nora makes her way to where he is resting and finds him asleep where she finds a chair and sits by him with a sad expression.
"What happened to you to get like this?" She asked out loud. "I hope you wake up soon so we can find out what happened." She said holding his hand in hers like a mother would.
In Mindscape
Naruto had woken up and looked around, seeing he was in his mindscape. "I must've passed out during my fight with Kaguya." He said when he noticed he sounded higher pitched than normally.
He looked at his hands to see them were smaller. "What the hell?" When he saw a reflection of himself back to being 11 years old again. "Well shit. How'd this happen?" He walked towards where the other Tailed Beasts would be and noticed they were stone statues except for Kurama who was in the process of it.
"Kurama what's happening?!" Naruto asked his friend.
"There's no time to explain. You're not in the Elemental Nations anymore and have been taken to the hospital. We won't be able to help you until we turn back to normal. Because of this, you won't be able to use chakra either. Take care kit and I hope to see you soon." Kurama said, turning to stone like the rest of his siblings.
"Kurama!? Kurama! No, don't leave me! I don't want to be alone again!" Naruto cried falling on his butt and hugging his knees to his chest.
"Don't leave me please! Shukaku? Matatabi? Isobu? Son Goku? Kokuo? Saiken? Chomei? Gyuki? Anyone?" Naruto asked, looking around not getting a response from them.
Following Day
As she said, Nora stayed the night to make sure he would be okay along with finding out why she felt drawn to him. She was sleeping when Naruto groaned, his eyes fluttering open looking around not seeing anything familiar to him when he noticed his hand was being held and saw it was a red headed woman.
'She reminds me of mom with her hair.' He thought.
Naruto sat up getting Nora's attention waking her up seeing that he was awake now.
"Hey. Easy. You shouldn't be moving around." She said calmly and quietly.
"Where am I?" He asked.
"You're in the hospital. My family and I found you passed out at our house. What happened to you? You scared us with how injured you were." She asked.
"I-I don't remember." He said frowning.
"I'm going to get the doctor okay?" She asked, getting a nod. "I'll be right back." She smiled.
As soon as she left, he looked around not seeing anything familiar. Everything looked so advanced compared to what he has seen in his life. It didn't take long for the woman and doctor to come back into the room.
"It's good to see you're awake so soon. We didn't expect you to wake up for another few days." The doctor said.
"Thank you for helping me." Naruto said with a small smile.
"It was my pleasure. This is Nora Allen. She stayed with you while you recovered." He said.
"Thank you for staying with me. I'm Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto introduced himself with a fake smile, something that Nora noticed immediately.
"It's nice to put a name to a face now. We'll try to find any relatives to let them know you're okay. Do you have any family we could contact?" He asked.
Naruto shook his head. "I don't have any family. I'm an orphan and have been my whole life." He said making Nora frown hearing that.
"I'm sorry to hear that. Can you tell me what happened to get you as injured as you were when you were brought in?" He asked.
He shook his head. "I-I can't remember what happened." He stuttered out crying that he was alone again and truly alone.
Seeing this Nora walked over and hugged him and let him cry. He looked so lost and sad about the whole thing.
"Can you come back a little later when he's emotionally ready for this?" She asked getting a nod from the doctor who left the pair alone for the time being.
"Naruto? Are you okay?" She asked quietly.
He slowly nodded. "I-I-I'm sorry a-about that." He sniffled.
"Oh don't be sorry. It's okay to cry." She smiled at him.
"It's just I'm alone and I don't know what to do." He sniffled not knowing what he would do.
She smiled at him. "Why don't we get you something to eat? I bet you're a hungry young man." She giggled when she heard his stomach rumble, making him blush in embarrassment..
"Let's go." She said holding her hand out with him hesitating before he took her hand as they left the room.
Two Hours Later
Nora had gotten Naruto food which he ate with passion making her giggle at him. She had gotten to know him more. She asked about his parents if he knew who they were and was surprised to find out that his mother was a redhead like her as well, but was sad that she and his dad had been killed the night of his birth. He found out some things he liked such as ramen, wanting to study, but didn't have anyone to teach him.. Naruto tried not to reveal too much of his Shinobi abilities or that he had Tailed Beasts sealed in him. There's a lot he didn't want to say of fear of scaring her since she was nice to him and wanted to help him. He had gotten to know her as well after learning that she was married and had a son. He even saw a picture of them and thought they looked happy.
"They seem like nice people. Could I meet them maybe?" Naruto asked shyly?
"Of course you can. They'll be here later today to pick me up." She said making him sad was something she noticed. "What's wrong?" She asked.
"You're going to be leaving me. I-I've liked having you here today and I'll be alone again." He said looking down thinking he was being selfish.
She looked at him before pulling him into a hug making him tense for a moment before he hugged back.
"Let's not worry about that now okay?" She asked.
He slowly nodded before they separated and enjoyed the rest of the day until her husband and son came by.
"Nora. we're here." Henry said, walking into the room with Barry following him.
"Hi dear." She kissed him and hugged Barry, making Naruto smile at the family closeness.
"So this is the kid. It's good to see you're okay. You gave us quite the scare when we found you." Henry said.
"I know and I'm sorry if I caused any trouble for you. Thank you for bringing me here." Naruto thanked.
"It was no trouble at all. I'm a doctor myself, so leaving you like that would be wrong to do. I'm Henry Allen and this is our son Barry Allen." He introduced them by nudging Barry.
"I'm Barry Allen. It's nice to meet you." He said putting his hand out to shake with Naruto accepting it.
"Naruto Uzumaki. It's nice to meet all of you." Naruto smiled at them.
"Woah. Are those whisker marks real?" Barry asked in awe.
"Yeah they are. I've had them since I was born." Naruto said.
The two boys talked to one another when Nora pulled Henry to the side wanting to talk to him.
"He seems like a good kid. Are his parents coming to get him?" Henry asked when he turned to see Nora frown. "What's wrong dear?"
"Naruto's parents died the night he was born. He doesn't have any family to look after him. Not only that, but among other things." Nora explained getting a nod understanding.
"That's not good. He doesn't have anywhere to go, I take it?" He asked his wife, seeing her shake her head.
"No he doesn't. I actually wanted to talk to you about something involving him. How would you feel about adopting him?" Nora asked, surprising Henry.
"Adopt him huh? Why do you want to adopt him?" He asked.
"I'd feel horrible leaving him on his own for one. He's a good kid and has been an orphan all his life. I also feel drawn to him like we were meant to find him when we did. I don't know how to explain it." Nora said.
Henry looked at his wife for a few moments before looking back at the two boys talking and laughing.
"I think you may be onto something. They seem to get along well and Barry doesn't have many friends his age, plus having a brother would be good for him too." Henry said smiling at his wife which she returned.
"My thoughts exactly. I haven't seen Barry laugh this much outside of the house in a long time. Thank you for understanding dear. This'll be amazing news for him." Nora smiled as they approached the boys.
"Naruto? I want to ask you something." Nora said, getting the boy's attention.
"Yes Mrs. Allen?" Naruto asked her.
"Well me and my husband talked about it and were wondering if you'd like to be apart of our family?" Nora asked with a smile.
Naruto looked surprised before he started tearing up and hugging her like a lifeline.
"Y-You r-really want to adopt m-me?" Naruto asked, hoping they weren't kidding.
"Of course. We'd love to have you as our son." She replied returning the hug.
Naruto just kept saying thank you over and over again making Henry chuckle and Barry getting excited about having a brother.
"Naruto? How old are you?" Henry asked.
"I'm eleven years old." Naruto said.
"That would make you and Barry around the same age. Just a year older than him. How about it Barry? Want to have a brother?" Henry asked.
Barry nodded in excitement at the idea of having a brother.
"Yes! I've always wanted to have a sibling and having Naruto as one would be the best thing." Barry exclaimed, making Naruto grin at his soon to be brother with Nora and Henry chuckling at their excitement.
"Let's get you out of here then and we can get the process done and make you an Allen." Henry ruffled his hair making him pout.
Naruto had never been more excited to be a part of a family. He had always wanted one of his own some day, but now he could start over in a sense as a kid again. Even if he was adopted now he couldn't have been happier. His new name was Naruto Uzumaki Allen adopted by Henry and Nora Allen. Big brother to Barry Allen even if it's only by a year.
A year and a half later
It's been over a year since Naruto was adopted into the Allen family and he couldn't have been happier with his new family. He was treated not as an adopted son, but as if he was blood related to them. Many things had happened for the blonde since his adoption happened.
He started school again much to his ire. Because it was the middle of the year and with how little education he had already, Nora took it upon herself to homeschool him for the rest of the year. He enjoyed that time spent with her and learned to enjoy the different subjects that he was taught. English and science were turning out to be his favorites with math being a close behind in subjects. Nora had taught him how to write much better than he could before. They would take breaks of course throughout the days and would get to know each other even more. He was the closest with her out of Henry and Barry. He still never mentioned anything about his former life because it wasn't necessary too since he found out he could know longer use chakra. Something had been blocking him from it, but didn't know what it was so he just let it be. That's not to say he didn't go through the practices of calligraphy so he wouldn't get rusty.
He had gotten to know Henry much more as well. He had come to know how kind he was and was always wanting to help others and to keep his family safe. He would take him and Barry to different activities and events such as sport events where they could develop a father-son bond, school activities so Naruto could meet other kids his age. Henry had come to find out that Naruto would keep Barry safe when they were outside playing as Barry would get picked on, but Naruto made sure that he would be safe.
During the time he had met Joe West and his daughter Iris West who had found out how close Iris and Barry were. Joe was a detective for the Central City precinct. Naruto got along with them very well. Iris became like a sister to Naruto and would keep her safe and not let any boys flirt with her or anything of the sort much to her annoyance and Joe's amusement. Of course he knew that Barry had a crush on her and would tease on him about it at times. They were brothers in all but blood and Naruto couldn't have been happier. They hung out all the time when they didn't have homework to do or any chores. They talked about many things about what they might want to do in life. For Naruto he wanted to go into Literature to be a writer since he was thinking about writing about his adventures as a Shinobi in the Elemental Nations, but also was thinking of different science categories.
Now we find them both in their rooms in bed for the night while their parents were downstairs enjoying their alone time together.
"To think it's been this long since we adopted Naruto and it was one of the best decisions we had ever made. Don't you think so Henry?" Nora asked, looking at her husband.
"You're not wrong about that. He's been an amazing son and brother to this family. He looks after Barry from bullies that want to pick on him. He studies hard and makes it a priority to make us happy along with Barry doing the same. We couldn't ask for better sons than those two." Henry replied with a smile.
He then notices he's out of whine. "I'll be right back with some more whine." Henry said getting up from the couch to go to the kitchen.
Outside of the house a portal opens revealing three blurs running out of it into the Allens show where they begin fighting surrounding Nora. During the commotion Naruto and Barry wake up wondering what's going on and head downstairs seeing nothing but red, white, and yellow blurs shooting around the room with Nora in the middle of it.
"Mom!" The boys shout wanting to get to her.
Henry grabs their arms to stop them and pulls them back towards him.
"You boys need to get out of the house now! Run boys!" Henry tells them as two of the blurs carry them out of the house and land them in the middle of the street not knowing how they got there.
"How'd we get out here all of a sudden?" Naruto asked, looking around the neighborhood.
"Naruto. We need to go back to mom and dad. They could be hurt." Barry said with worry.
"I know Barry. I'm worried about them too. Come on, let's go." Naruto said as they began running back towards their house.
They managed to get back to see yellow tape in the front with cops leading their dad out with cuffs on him.
"Dad!" They said in unison rushing towards him.
"Where's mom?" Barry asked with Naruto having a feeling in his stomach.
"Barry! Naruto! Don't go into the house. Whatever you do, don't go into the house." Henry said, as he's put into the police car..
They walk inside the house where they see someone on the ground covered with Barry walking towards her as Naruto walks towards Joe.
"What's going on Uncle Joe?" Naruto asked, dreading the answer.
"I'm sorry Naruto. She's gone." Joe said with sadness causing Naruto to tear up as Barry breaks down with Naruto to hug him letting him cry.
"It'll be okay, Bare. It'll be okay little brother. We'll get through this." Naruto said with Joe smiling at Naruto glad that he was alive to be here for Barry.
"Uncle Joe, w-where are we going to live now?" Naruto asked as Barry had fallen asleep.
"You'll stay with us. Okay Naruto?" Joe said, getting a nod from him.
"Thank you Uncle Joe. I'll do what I can to help you out while we're here." Naruto said.
Joe ruffled his hair. "Thank you, but we'll figure it out." Joe said.
14 years later
A lot has changed since the night Barry's and Naruto's mother was murdered by the mysterious lightning man that took place in their home. Naruto and Barry moved in with Joe and Iris and helped raise them despite how hard it was for Joe as a single parent. Naruto would help Joe with helping around the house and would help Iris and Barry with their homework so Joe would have less to worry about which made Joe grateful for the help. Barry and Iris grew even closer and became best friends.
Henry was declared guilty for Nora's murder and was sentenced to Iron Heights. Ever since then Barry would do everything he could to try to help his dad. Naruto would be there for Barry when he needed it. Barry would try to sneak off to see their dad, but Naruto and Joe would stop him with Barry wondering why Naruto wouldn't let him or want to go see him. Naruto explained that either Joe said we couldn't or perhaps for some reason their dad didn't want to see them. One thing they agreed on though was that they would love their dad always and not give up on him.
When Naruto and Barry got into college Barry went more into forensics so he could help free his dad. Naruto tried to get into it as well wanting to do the same thing, but it wasn't coming as naturally. So he went into three different majors with one being an English Major wanting to be a writer like his old sensei. The second one being cyber security & computer science which reminded him of Fuinjutsu so he was easier for him to pick up on, and the other being theoretical physics. Naruto went to MIT where he met Felicity Smoak who was just as smart if not smarter and faster at hacking than him. They dated for a time there, but broke up when Naruto graduated and moved back to Central City. After his time there he went to Central City University for English Literature where they would keep in touch since they couldn't date with it being long distance.
Barry got a job as a CSI assistant at the Central City Police Department and Naruto became a writer and started working on a book that would delve into his time in the Elemental Nations, but would work on his own theories and projects in the meantime when he wasn't writing. He named the book, "The Tales of Menma Namikaze" which did really well when he had it published at twenty-two years old. He wouldn't sign his name as the author as he wanted to remain anonymous. The only ones who knew were Barry, Iris, and Joe, but didn't tell anyone else.
Naruto was now twenty-six years old with Barry being twenty-five. Barry was with Iris at S.T.A.R Labs waiting for the announcement to be made by Harrison Wells. Naruto was in the middle of writing his second book when he got a call.
"Hello?"
"Naruto, where are you? I thought you were going to be joining us at S.T.A.R Labs when Wells activates the Particle Accelerator?" Barry asked.
"I was hoping to Bare, but I haven't gotten far enough I was hoping to get for the next book. I'm only at the Chunin Exams right now. I won't be done for sometime so you'll have to tell me about it when I see you next." Naruto replied.
"Alright man. You're missing out though." Barry said when Naruto heard Iris say something. "Iris says hi and that you should focus on the book instead if you're falling behind. We'll stop by later though afterwards."
"Alright guys I'll see you later." Naruto said hanging up and going back to his book.
Naruto had spent the next hour writing his book when he turned around to hear thunder when it wasn't cloudy at all today. The next thing that happened was A lightning bolt shooting down and hitting him, sending him flying back crashing into his bookshelf knocking him unconscious when a white lightning flew through his body.
Mindscape
Naruto looked around to the familiar place that he hadn't been to ever since he arrived in this world. He noticed the Tailed Beasts were still statues along with a figure standing in front of them.
"Who are you?" Naruto asked.
The figure is revealed to be his birth mother Kushina.
"Mom?" He asked.
"No. I'm not Kushina. I'm what is called the "Speed Force." Kushina said.
"The Speed Force?" Naruto repeated confused.
"Yes. You see. We chose you to become a speedster like your brother Barry to help him when dealing with other meta-humans that will cause trouble for you both. There was also another reason for choosing you. You had done well in helping your brother come to terms with what happened, but you'll be able to find the man that put your dad in jail. This will also give you the ability to use your chakra again along with your speed." Kushina said.
The Tailed Beasts statues started cracking and began glowing brightly blinding Naruto until the light died down to reveal all of them back and alive again.
"Guys?" Naruto asked, hoping this was real.
"Kit?" Kurama asked to see his container. " It's good to see you again. You've grown up on me." Kurama grinned.
"It's good to see you again, Naruto. What have we missed because it looks like it's been years since we last talked to you?" Matatabi asked.
"It's been fourteen years since you turned to stone statues. There's a lot that has happened since then and it is great to have you guys back." Naruto grinned before hugging some of them.
Naruto went on to explain how he had been adopted by the Allen family which made them happy knowing he had a family now despite how short it was when his adopted mother was murdered and his father was sent to prison. How he went to school and excelled in it surprising Kurama, but then he remembered how Naruto was sabotaged in the academy which made Naruto not care since it was deliberate. His education is going to college and majoring in three different things. To him being struck by lightning with the last thing he knew before coming to his mindscape.
"Well we have a lot of training to do with how rusty I would've gotten over the years of not having chakra and my new abilities I will have. We'll do what we can until I wake up." Naruto said turning back to "Kushina".
"Will I be aware of everything happening in the real world?" He asked.
"Yes you will. You'll find a number of things you'll be able to do, but most of your training in your speed will be out there. Here you'll be retraining your shinobi skills. Good luck Naruto. You and Barry are meant to do great things." Kushina said before disappearing.
"Well, let's get to work." Naruto said grinning at his friends.
10 months later
In the time that Naruto spent in his mindscape getting his skills up to par again. He was able to activate his Rinne-Sharingan again and mastered the different skills Rinnegan had along with the Sharingan, but wouldn't use any of the techniques with them being too dangerous to others. He mastered different Ninjutsu for each chakra nature element. His Hiraishin along with different seals. He practiced his Sage Mode to get there instantly and his other forms such as KCM, and the SO6P along with Lava Chakra Mode. He had to get used to the different Tailed Beast states as well, but that's a work in progress still. He couldn't wait to try them out in the real world. Not only that, but he had gotten to know the other Tailed Beasts and what they were like.
Naruto's eyes fluttered open looking around remembering where he'd been taken when Joe found him unconscious in his apartment. He was in an infirmary of sorts and got up to see four people talking with two he didn't recognize, but one he never met, and the last one being his brother Barry wearing some form of suit. He smiled at him, but decided to make his presence known when they were done talking.
"I'm fine Cait. I didn't die." Barry said getting up. "I need to go see Joe." Barry told them.
"No, you need to rest." Dr. Wells said.
"I'm fine." Barry said he was about to leave.
"Are you sure about that little brother?" A familiar voice asked, catching everyone's attention.
Everyone looked towards the direction to see Naruto standing there looking at them with his arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the doorway.
"Naruto!" Barry raced over and hugged him with Naruto returning it.
"It's good to see you again, Bare. So what's this I hear about you being poisoned? You're lucky your cells were fighting off the effects or else I'd bring you back just to kick your ass myself." Naruto smirked, getting surprised looks from everyone.
"H-How do you know I'm a speedster?" Barry asked with everyone wondering the same.
"Well I could hear what was going on ever since you woke up and started using your powers to help people and I couldn't be more proud of you. I know mom would be too." Naruto said walking towards everyone else.
"Dr. Wells. It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard what happened to your legs and I'm sorry for your loss." Naruto said.
"It's quite alright. I'm able to manage with this, but how are you feeling Mr. Allen? You just woke up and surely you must have questions about some things." Dr. Wells asked.
"Well who's the bastard that hurt my brother that's all I wanna know right now, but I know you guys will want to run tests while Bare is handling the meta-human." Naruto said.
"Huh? You have heard quite a lot to know what meta-humans are. You're right though. We'll need to run tests on you if that's okay." Dr. Wells asked.
"Of course. We can do that immediately, but first I want to thank all three of you for keeping Barry safe." Naruto said.
"It's our pleasure. He's special." Wells said.
"That he is." He said before looking at the other two. "You're Cisco Ramon correct if I heard right and you're Caitlin Snow?" Naruto asked.
"Yes. Again how were you able to know all of this?" Cisco asked in disbelief.
"I could hear the entire time I've been out what's been going on. Especially ever since Barry's been helping you catch other meta-humans." Naruto said.
"Astounding. While you were listening to all this. Barry go ahead to Joe, but don't tell him anything. I wanna surprise him and Iris." Naruto said with a grin that Barry returned nodding and sped off.
"Well shall we?" Naruto asked getting a nod from them.
"Follow me please." Caitlin said.
"What we're going to be doing is taking your blood, among other tests to find out if you were affected by the Particle Accelerator." She said.
"That's fine, I know one thing it did for me though if I may demonstrate." Naruto asked curious looks from them.
"Umm sure I guess." She said not sure what else to say.
Naruto held out his palm for a few seconds before a blue ball started to form until it was the size of a softball.
"Yes! So I can use it again. Oh thank god." Naruto said dispelling the technique catching everyone's wide eyes at it. "What?"
"Don't what us man. What was that?" Cisco asked excitedly.
"That was something called "Rasengan." What I gained back was my old powers from a source called chakra. I had lost them for years until the accelerator happened. A number of things were explained to me while I was in my coma. While I was in it, I had started to retrain my powers that I had along with the different techniques. That was one technique among many that I have. What the particle accelerator did give me along with my returned powers was speed like Barry." Naruto smirked.
"So you're telling us that you regained lost powers and are a speedster as well?" Cisco asked in disbelief.
"Yep." Naruto grinned as he sped around the room in a trail of white lightning before stopping where he was."
"Well. This just got a lot more awesome! We have two speedsters now." Cisco grinned while Caitlin just looked at him in disbelief and Wells smiled at this turn of events.
"I may have speed, but I need to train so I can use it better as that was my first time using it." Naruto said, scratching his neck.
"Okay. We can help with that as we've been helping Barry get a handle on his powers, but we still want to run some tests to make sure you're alright since you just woke up." Wells said, getting a nod from him.
"How did you get this chakra if I may ask if you had it once before?" Caitlin asked.
"That's a long and complicated story." Naruto said.
"I'm curious about it myself, so why not humor us Mr. Allen." Wells said intrigue about chakra.
"It started in a continent called the Elemental Nations." Naruto started.
One explanation later
"So you arrived in this Earth by accident and deaged from 17 to 11 is that right?" Wells asked.
"That's right. I was fighting a descendant of mine who I happened to defeat and was able to rescue everyone else, but she still had the last laugh by sending me to Central City in 1999. To be honest though, I'm glad she did. I wasn't the most liked there for reasons I don't really want to go into, but I will say that it was something out of my control that was dealt with in my birth." Naruto said.
"That's something so the multiverse theory is real then?" Cisco said, getting a nod from Naruto.
"Why weren't you liked by your village Naruto?" Caitlin asked.
"It's because of something that occurred the night of my birth and because of certain things that happened, it made the villagers hate me and most of the Shinobi that were there too. It's hard to explain and something that I don't like to remember." Naruto explained.
"I'm sorry for bringing up bad memories." She apologized.
"It's okay. You didn't know and were curious." He shrugged.
"For now we have some tests to run on Mr. Allen here." Wells said changing the subject.
Hours later
Naruto had just finished going through the different tests making sure he was healthy and nothing was wrong along with checking his speed on the treadmill and finding out how fast he could go. They were surprised to see him hit 500 mph already when Barry could go about 450 right now. And now he needed to find out what Barry, Joe, and Iris were up to and see them.
Naruto calls Barry since he knows that he's awake.
"Hey Bare. What are you up too right now? Are Joe and Iris busy as well?" Naruto asked.
"I'm with Joe actually going over something at my lab if you wanna stop by. He brought pizza too and I bet you're hungry." Barry said.
"Alright. Be there in a flash." Naruto smirked, ending the call and speeding off.
Barry's lab
"Who was that on the phone Bare? It's not often you let people know what's going on." Joe asked.
"You'll see in a few minutes." Barry smirked.
Naruto walked in grinning at Joe who got up and hugged him.
"Welcome back Naruto. You were missed while you were in your coma. Scared us that's for sure. What is it with you brothers doing that to me?" Joe asked.
"It's good to see you again Uncle Joe. A lot has happened since I was in my coma. Check this out." Naruto smirked before he sped around the room.
"No way! You're got speed as well?!" Barry asked excitedly while Joe's jaw was on the ground.
"I did, but that's not all I got or I should say regained after years." Naruto said as he formed a Rasengan showing the two before dispelling it.
"Okay. That's new. What was that?" Joe asked.
"It's a technique called the Rasengan. It's a form of manipulation from a source called chakra. I actually have something to tell you both." Naruto said.
"Barry, you remember the night you, mom, and dad found me?" He asked.
"Yeah. You didn't look good, but why are you bringing that up?" Barry confused.
"You see. I'm from a different Earth where the continent is called the Elemental Nations."
After the explanation
"That's a lot to take in Naruto. You're telling us that you were sent to this Earth when you were seventeen and when you got her you deaged to eleven years old again? Is that right?" Joe asked.
"Yeah." Naruto said.
"And you never told us before because?" Barry asked.
"There was no need too really. I had lost the ability to use chakra and it would've been hard for you guys to believe me without proof." Naruto said.
"That's true. You told us now since people are doing what should be impossible right?" Barry asked.
"Right on the nail Bare. I hope this doesn't change anything with my past as it was." Naruto said.
"Not at all Naruto. I understand how hard that must've been and that you hated having to be put in those situations. Things were different there than here." Joe said.
"Thanks Joe. It means a lot. Barry?" Naruto asked.
"You're still my brother Naruto and nothing will change that. Like Joe said, you were dealt a bad hand and you always tried to avoid killing anyone if possible. We're fine." Barry said.
"Great. Those days are put behind me. Anyway, what have you guys been working on here?" Naruto asked.
"You're mothers murder. After finding out that Barry and now you are speedsters. We're reopening it and finding new evidence with everything that was impossible becoming possible now." Joe said, looking at Naruto's reaction.
"Well It's about time I say. This means a lot to us. Is there anything else I should know about regarding me and Bare having powers?"
"Yes. Iris doesn't know and I'd like to keep it that way. Can you do that Naruto?" Joe asked.
"Of course Joe I won't tell her." Naruto said, getting a sigh of relief from him.
"Speaking of Iris, I still need to see her. Do either of you know where my sister is?" He asked.
"Check at Jitters. She's still working there, so you might see her there." Barry said.
"Thanks guys. Let me know if you need any help from me." Naruto said leaving the two alone.
"Well let's get back to the case." Barry said.
Jitters
Naruto walked into the place to see it busy as always looking around until he found his sister helping some customers. He walks to a table when Iris walks over not recognizing him.
"What can I get for you?" Iris asked, looking down at her notepad.
"Really sis? You should know what I like by now." Naruto smirked as she paused and looked up to see him with a grin.
"Naruto! You finally woke up!" Iris said, hugging him.
"I just woke up this morning. And yes I'm fine sis no need to get worked up." He said.
"Why didn't they call us?" She asked.
"I asked them and Barry not to because I wanted to surprise you and Uncle Joe." He said.
"Well we have a lot to catch up on. Why don't we, dad, and Barry catch up sometime?" She asked.
"I'd like that Iris. I'll let you get back to work. I just wanted to see how you've been. I'll see you later." He said leaving Iris to her job who just had her day get much better.
Next Day S.T.A.R. Labs
Naruto walked in to see Barry and Caitlin talking by the treadmill.
"Hey guys. I hope I'm not interrupting anything. I was told to come back this morning so I could demonstrate some of my abilities that I regained. Is that still the plan?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah it is. There's a testing ground we can go to later on. There's just something that I need to do and Barry was kind of helping me with it." Caitlin replied.
"Okay. Well, is there anything I can do in the meantime?" Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. Wells and Cisco are in the cortex right now." Caitlin said.
"Okay. It was good seeing you again Caitlin and whatever you're getting help with, I'm here as well if you need anything." Naruto said walking off not seeing the small smile on her.
"Good morning Dr. Wells. Cisco." Naruto greeted.
"Morning Naruto. Thank you for coming in. We'd like to know more about what you can do with this chakra that you mentioned yesterday if you could fill us in on that while we work on this sample that Barry brought us yesterday." Wells said.
"Chakra allows me to do many things with it. There are different techniques that I can do involving the elements wind, water, earth, fire, and lightning. I can use techniques. That's just one of the aspects of it. There's an art that is called sealing that is unlimited when it comes to creativity. For example I can seal an object or a person in a scroll when I have the right kanji set up. Here I'll demonstrate it real quick." Naruto explained.
Naruto pulls out some paper along with ink and a brush with Cisco and Wells raising eyebrows at the materials but shrug it off and wait to see what happens.
"You see this kunai here?" Naruto asked getting nods from them.
Naruto then takes the ink and starts writing some language that they don't recognize and when he finishes, he takes the kunai and places it on the paper and than puts his hand on it and applies chakra to it causing smoke to appear. When the smoke clears, it shows the paper still still, but the kunai gone.
"This is basic sealing. I took the kunai and sealed it in the paper where I won't need to bring a backpack when I can seal them in paper like that or I can write the seals on my wrists and it would work just as good." Naruto explained.
"That's incredible. And you said it's just basic sealing right?" Wells asked.
"Yes. There are more advanced sealing techniques that I know and they took me forever to master. One of them was a technique that is called "The Flying Thunder God". What it does is when I have this seal formula on an item or person." He said pointing at the formula. "I am able to teleport to that mark. I can place it on people, objects, or I use special kunai with the formula on the handle which I use in battles." Naruto explained.
"That is so cool. I'd want to see how it would look. Is there a limit to how many formulas you can put down? Cisco eager to see it in action and to study it.
"There isn't a limit as to how many I can create. My father had this technique mastered before I did and he single handedly ended the Third Ninja War when my village was attacked by one of the other major villages and he used the technique and defeated a thousand shinobi in a matter of seconds. He became known as "Konoha's Yellow Flash" because all you'd see is a yellow flash when he was using the technique." He explained.
"Awesome! Now I wonder, what would be faster you and Barry or the Flying Thunder God?" Cisco excited about testing that out.
"That's something we'll have to find out sometime, but for now we got a meta-human to deal with." Wells said, receiving results from the sample they got yesterday.
"Let's see what we got then." Wells said.
Cisco calls Caitlin and Barry back and they discuss what is in the gas which they find out it's hydrogen cyanide mixed with a sedative.
"Hey, check this out." Cisco said standing by a monitor as Caitlin and Barry walked in "It's a 3D molecular model of the gas we retrieved from your lungs."
"We have identified the toxin." Wells said as Naruto took a closer look
"Hydrogen cyanide, with a sedative mixed in." Barry said before he remembered what the man was wearing "Of course, the night of the explosion, find out if anyone was executed." he requested before Caitlin walked to a computer
"Why?" Harrison asked
"That sedative is given to criminals on death row before they go to the gas chamber and breathe in hydrogen cyanide." Barry said
"That's right." Wells said
"There was someone executed. Kyle Nimbus." Caitlin said bringing up the info on a screen
"That's him." Barry said looking at Kyle's mugshot
"He was a hit man for the Darbinyan crime family. They turned on him and testified. Judge Theresa Howard was the judge at his trial. She sentenced him to death." Caitlin said
"He must have been affected by the explosion while he was being gassed." Wells added
'Records indicate the execution was completed." Cisco said
"That's why there wasn't a match. The DNA database only has records of the living." Naruto commented "Who caught him, that could be his next target?"
Caitlin looked up the info, and paused as her eyes widened before she looked at Naruto "Nate, the lead detective was Joe West."
Barry frowned before he pulled out his phone, something that Naruto noticed.
"Eddie. Do you know where Joe went? He's not answering his phone." Barry said.
"Joe went to Iron Heights to visit your father." Eddie told him.
"Thanks Eddie." Barry said, ending the call.
"I managed to create an antidote to the poison gas, but it's good for one shot only so make it count." Caitlin said, handing Barry a gun to inject the antidote.
"Let's go Barry." Naruto said.
"We don't have a suit for you though." Cisco said.
"That's fine. No one will know it's me because I can change my appearance using chakra like this. Naruto changes into his father Minato Namikaze.
"Cool! That'll work for now, but we'll have something for you so you won't have to do that all the time." Wells said.
"Great." Naruto said as they sped off.
Iron Heights Penitentiary
Joe sat in the visiting area, waiting for Henry to show up, looking up he sighed as his one time friend walked in, shackled before he sat down on the other side of the glass. Taking the phone Henry asked "What are you doing here? Are Barry and Naruto all right?"
"They're fine. Naruto actually woke up yesterday." Joe said, causing Henry to relax before he sat back.
"That's great. Then to what do I owe this visit?" Henry asked
"I know I should have come to see you sooner." Joe said
"You just weren't up for a little chitchat with a man who murdered his wife in front of his two children?"
"Except now I know you didn't kill your wife." Joe said causing Henry's eyes to widen as he leaned forward "Some new evidence has come to light. I can't go into detail. It's just.. Look, the important thing is, I'm reopening the case. I'm gonna find out who really killed Nora. I promise you, Henry, I'm going to get you out of here. I am so sorry."
"It doesn't matter that you didn't believe in me Because you always believed in my sons." Henry replied as Joe nodded before Henry saw green gas appear around a guard causing the man to fall to the ground seizing, before he and Joe stood up, while Joe went to check on the guard but green gas appeared in front of him and solidified into a familiar man
"Nimbus." Joe said in horror, while Henry watched shocked "You're supposed to be dead."
"Same to you." Nimbus said before he exploded into gas and went into Joe causing him to fall to
the ground and began to seize as Nimbus exited through his nose and into a air vent
"Joe?" Henry asked as Joe continued to seize "Joe! Help! Guards! Somebody help!"
Henry continued to bang on the glass when Naruto sped in and kneeled beside Joe immediately he gave him the antidote, before he looked up to Henry who looked at him in shock before he nodded to his father and turned back to Joe who groaned
"Go get him." Joe said causing Naruto to smirk before he sped off, while Henry gasped
Unknown Road
Nimbus with a smirk walked down the street, his list was complete now he was going to take over the city, he suddenly stopped when a familiar red suited man appeared in his way "So you've come to finish what the gas chamber couldn't?"
"You're going somewhere you can't hurt anyone ever again." Barry said with Naruto cracking his neck.
"Wrong." Nimbus said before he busted into smoke and rushed them who dodged to the side.
S.T.A.R. Labs
"They used the antidote on Joe." Caitlin said looking at Wells, and Cisco "You need to stay away from him. Do not breathe him in."
"We got it!" Naruto replied.
Unknown Road
Naruto continued to dodge Nimbus gas attacks, "Back up Barry." Naruto suddenly smirked before he dodged another charge and when Nimbus solidified, "Wind Style: Wind Bullets." Naruto shoots bullets of wind out of his mouth sending him into a tree, only for Nimbus to explode into gas again. Flash, use your arms to create wind funnels." Naruto suggested. Who began to rotate his arms at high speeds with Barry following his lead causing 2 wind funnels to form and stop Nimbus in his tracks,
Nimbus suddenly solidified and before he could make a move, Barry's fist met his jaw, before blackness
"He's down." Naruto smirked as they stood over Nimbus' unconscious body.
S.T.A.R. Labs Pipeline
Nimbus is screaming going in and out of mist trying to break free, but having no luck.
"He's not getting out anytime soon." Cisco said.
"Naruto, that was an impressive attack you did with wind like that. What was that attack again?" Wells asked.
"It called "Wind Bullets". Pretty simple really. I shoot bullets of wind out of my mouth. They can pack quite the punch, but I lowered the power not to kill him, but to hurt him only." Naruto said.
"Using your arms to create funnels was impressive too. You both did great work out there. We'll get a suit for you so you don't have to change your appearance every time." Caitlin.
"Thank you guys. I'd like that." Naruto said as they left.
Later
Naruto was heading to his apartment looking at his book when someone approached him not paying attention when she walked into him spilling her drink on her and making him drop his notes.
"Oh my god. I am so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." She said, patting his shirt and picking up the papers on the floor.
"I guess that makes two of us then." Naruto joked, making her giggle. "Are you living here?"
"I just recently moved here. You're Naruto Uzumaki Allen. The one who just woke up from his coma right?" She asked.
"That would be me. Since you know me, can I know your name?" He asked.
"Linda. Linda Park." Linda said.
"It's nice to officially meet you." Naruto said, picking up his notes.
"What are you working on exactly?" Linda asked, picking up some of the notes and gasped when she read it. "You're the author of the book "The Tales of Menma Namikaze." She gushed.
He chuckled. "Thanks and yes I am. I take it your a fan of it?" He asked.
"Yes I am." She said.
"I've been working on the second book until I went into a coma and now I'm way behind it. I have a lot of catching up to do for it. Not looking forward to that." Naruto said.
"I loved your first book. It was sad to hear how he was being treated for something that wasn't his fault and how he was lied to his whole life." Linda said not seeing Naruto frown at the memory.
"I'm glad you liked it. What about you? What do you do for a living?" Naruto asked.
"I work at Central City Picture News in sports." Linda answered.
"That's great. Bet you get great seats at games when you go to them." He said.
"Yeah it's interesting, but some of them are jerks." She rolled her eyes at some of the people she's interviewed.
"I could imagine." He said taking his shirt off with the stain on his shirt.
Linda could only ogle at his chest seeing nothing but a six pack with no fat at all.
Naruto noticed and chuckled. "Like what you see?" He teased smirking at her blush.
"Oh you bet I do." She flirted, tracing her finger down his chest.
"I'd love nothing more than to keep this going, but unfortunately I need to get to my apartment. How about we grab dinner sometime?" Naruto asked.
"I'd like that and sorry about the mess." She apologized.
"It's not a problem." He said.
