Yaakov Lubin: Hello everyone and Happy Holidays! Two years ago today, I posted my first ever fanfiction story. In celebration of this story and me writing and posting stories on for two years now. I decided to create this new mini-series called: Loud House Funisodes. Where I will be posting any short-stories that I have for The Loud House. If anyone of you have an idea for a funisode that you might want me to write, please feel free to make a suggestion. With all that said and done, let's get started shall we? Also I want to wish all of you, who celebrates Christmas to have a merry one. And the rest of you a happy new year.

The Loud House:

Fast Friends

A fanfic by Yaakov Lubin

Claimer: I am not the writer for The Loud House or The Casagrandes. All rights belong to Chris Savino and Nickelodeon.

Sid (Excitedly runs up to her friend): "Is he here yet? Is he here yet?"

Ronnie Anne (Equally as excited): "Not yet. But he just texted me saying that he and his dad should be here any minute now."

The two best friends, Ronnie Anne Santiago and Sid Chang, are waiting patiently outside their apartment building in Great Lake City for a very special guest.

Ronnie Anne: "I can't wait for him to get here."

Sid: "Me neither, it will be nice to hang out with him again."

Ronnie Anne (Pulls out a list): "And I have our whole day planed."

Adelaide (Walks out of the building and over to the duo): "Hey Sid, hey Ronnie Anne."

Ronnie Anne: "Hey Adelaide."
Adelaide: "What are you guys doing?"

Sid: "We're waiting for someone."

Adelaide: "Oh, who?"

Ronnie Anne: "A good friend of mine from Royal Woods. His Dad is attending a cow bell convention that is being held at the Great Lake City convention center. So, we figure this would be a good time for him to come over and hang out."

Adelaide: "What's his name?"
Sid: "Lincoln. And he is really cool."

Lincoln: "In his own somewhat dorky way."

Adelaide (Very confused): "Wait a minute…Sid?"

Sid: "Yeah?"
Adelaide: "How do you know Lincoln?"

Sid: "Well…I really don't know Lincoln that well. But the three of us did hang out that one time during a major rain storm." (Wraps an arm around Ronnie Anne): "And I do know that he is my bf's other bf."

Adelaide: "But how can you say he's cool, if you only hung out with him that one time."

Sid: "Uhh…ummm…" (Starts to scratch her chin, while whispering): "Man, how I can explain this better?"

Ronnie Anne: "Oh, I know…" (Looks over at the younger girl): "Adelaide, remember when you and Sid first moved here to Great Lake City and met me and my family for the first time?"

Adelaide: "Yeah, so?"

Ronnie Anne: "Well even though me and Sid didn't know each other that well then, we still hit it off. And by the end of the day, we were best friends before we even knew it."

Sid: "Oh yeah!"

Adelaide: "But how come you two get to become best friends in one day, if it took me and Carl a long time to start playing with each other?"

Sid: "I guess that's how friendship works sometimes Sis."

Adelaide (Shakes her head with a frown on her face): "I don't get it."

Frida (Walks out of the building and over to the trio): "There you Ronnie Anne, I been looking all over for you."
Ronnie Anne: "What is it Tia Frida?"

Frida: "We're going to the camera store. Remember? You promised to help me buy some new equipment for my latest masterpiece."

Ronnie Anne: "Oh no, I totally forget."

Frida: "Let's get going, we want to get there before the store gets too crowded."

Ronnie Anne: "But Tia Frida, Lincoln's coming over."
Frida: "Don't worry Mija, we won't be gone long."

Ronnie Anne: "But he's going to be here any minute though."

Sid (Gets an idea): "Hey, how about, if I keep Lincoln entrained until you get back?"

Ronnie Anne: "Are you sure you can do that?"

Sid: "Of course I'm sure. And besides…" (Gives off a big smile): "It will give me a perfect opportunity to get to know more about my bf's other bf."

Ronnie Anne (Thinking about it): "Hmmm…" (Starts to chuckle): "Ha-ha! Sure, why not? And who knows? Perhaps you two will become best friends yourselves before I even get back."

Sid: "Ha-ha. I guess only time will tell." (Turns over to her sister): "You want to tagalong Adelaide?"

Adelaide (Eyes start to sparkle): "Really?"

Sid: "If you're not too bus…"

Adelaide (Starts to hug her sister): "I love too!"

With that settled, Ronnie Anne and Frida made their departure. A minute or two later, a very familiar looking van pulls up in front of the building and the two sisters. The car door then slides open to reveal the one and only, man with the plan, Lincoln Loud himself climbing out and shutting the door behind him.

Sid (Waves at him): "Hey Lincoln!"

Lincoln (Walks up to her): "Hey Sid!" (Start to look around): "Where's Ronnie Anne?"

Sid: "She went on an errand with her aunt Frida. But don't worry, she'll be back soon." (Gives him a smile): "And you know what that means?"

Lincoln: "Ugh…I don't know, what?"

Sid: "The three of us get to hangout for a little bit!"

Lincoln (Gives off a smile of his own): "I'm cool with that. Wait…" (Smile goes away and is replace with a confused look): "You said the three of us. Who's the…"

Adelaide (Walks up with a blank face): "Ummm…Hi…down here."

Lincoln (Looks down): "Oh…" (Gives her a little smile): "Hi. My name is Lincoln, what's yours?"

Adelaide: "…"

Sid: "This is my little sister Adelaide." (Turns over to her sister): "Adelaide…" (Points to Lincoln): "…this is Lincoln."

Lincoln (Crouches down to the younger girl's eye level and extends his arm out for a handshake): "It's a pleasure to meet you Adelaide."

Adelaide (Just stares at him): "…"
Sid: "You won't mind if she tags along, right?"

Lincoln (Gets up): "Not at all. But…" (Points to Adelaide with a look of concern): "Is she okay?"

Adelaide (Still staring): "…"

Sid: "Adelaide?" (Start to have concern of her own): "Are you okay Sis?"

Lincoln: "Was it something I said?"

But before the two preteens could say anything else, Adelaide rushed into Lincoln, wrapped her arms around him, trapping the boy in a tight bone crushing hug, while also nuzzling her head in his stomach with a huge smile on her face.

Lincoln (Taken back by this): "Wow…Is your sister always…this …cough…affectionate. Not that I don't…cough…mind."

Sid (Not sure what to say): "Well…yeah…kinda."

Adelaide: "It's so good to meet you Lincoln. I just know that we're going to have a super-de-duper time playing together!" (Hugs the boy even tighter): "I just know it!"

Lincoln: "I sure...hope…so. But…can you let me go now? I …can't…" (Face turns purple): "…breathe!"

Adelaide: "Gasp!" (Let's go of Lincoln): "Oops! Sorry…"

Lincoln (Takes a few deep breaths as his face goes back to its normal color): "It's fine."

Lynn Sr. (Rolls down the window): "Well, I guess I will see you later son. Me and Guitaro are off to Bellcon!"

Guitaro (Pops his head out of the window): "Yeah! Let's do it!"

And so, the van pulls out and drives off.

Lincoln (Waving goodbye): "Bye Dad! Have fun!"

Sid: "Umm…How about we show you our apartment Lincoln? I'm sure you need a breather and a snack after all that driving."

Lincoln: "I could use a snack."

Sid: "Why don't you wait in the lobby, while me and Adelaide talk for a sec."

Lincoln: "No problem."

Lincoln walks up the steps and goes through the lobby doors.

Sid (Turns to her sister): "What the heck Adelaide?"

Adelaide: "What?"

Sid: "Why you did have to hug Lincoln like that?"

Adelaide: "I don't know, I just felt like giving him a hug."

Sid: "But why so hard though?"

Adelaide: "There's something about him."

Sid: "What is it?"

Adelaide: "I don't know…something." (Starts to blush a little): "Something good."

Sid (Takes a deep breath): "Fine. Just promise me you would be more careful, okay? We don't want Lincoln ending up in the hospital due to a case of almost being hugged to death. You promise?"

Adelaide (Rolls her eyes): "Okay, I promise."

Sid: "Good."

Lincoln (Pops his head through the doors): "Um...Sid? Adelaide? Is everything okay?"

Sid: "Everything's cool Linc. We're coming."

We then cut to the living room inside the Chang apartment, where we see the three kids sitting on the carpet, playing a game of gold fish, while drinking hot chocolate.

Lincoln: "Mmmm…Sid! This hot chocolate your dad made for us is incredible!"

Sid: "Aww! I'm sure he'll love to hear it when I tell him later."

Lincoln: "What's his secret?"

Sid: "An old Chang family recipe."

Adelaide (A bit disappointed): "Too bad we don't have any cookies to go with it though."
Sid: "I'm sorry Adelaide, but we're all out."

Lincoln (Gets an idea): "You know, I actually brought some cookies with me."

Adelaide (Surprise): "Really?"

Lincoln (Goes into his backpack): "Yeah, I made them yesterday with my best friend, Clyde. I brought some over with me to share with Ronnie Anne for a snack. But I'm sure she won't mind, if we have some now. Aha!" (Takes out a container): "Gotham."

He then takes off the lid of the container to reveal homemade cookies, but not just any homemade cookies. Chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips and peanut butter cups.

Adelaide: "Ooo…"

Sid (Thinks about it for a second): "Well…I guess having one couldn't hurt."

Adelaide: "Yay!" (Takes a cookie and takes a bite): "Crunch!" (Eyes start to sparkle as her smile widens with every chew): "Mmmm!" (Gobbles the rest of the cookie down): "Much! Much! Gulp! That was the best cookie I ever tasted!"

Sid (Picks up a cookie): "Let me try one!" (Takes a bite): "Crunch!" (Her reaction was almost the same as her sister's): "Mmmm!"

Lincoln: "I'm glad you guys like the…whoa!" (Sees Adelaide rushing towards him with grabby hands): "Haha!" (Puts the container of cookies over his head, which causes the little girl to stop in her tracks): "Nice try Adelaide."

Adelaide (Disappointed): "Ah!"

Lincoln (Gives an apologetic look): "I'm sorry, but I can't let you have all the cookies, we have to some for Ronnie Anne, remember?"

Adelaide: "Oh yeah. Sorry about that."

Lincoln: "Haha!" (Gives Adelaide a hair ruffle): "It's fine." (Gets an idea): "Hmmm, perhaps if we have some time later, I could teach how to make these bad boys." (Pats the container)

Adelaide: "Ooo…that we would be fun."

?: "rib-rggg…"

Sid: "Do you guys hear something?"

?: "rib-rggggg…"

Lincoln: "It sounds like a …"

?: "rib-rrrgggg…"

Adelaide: "Froggy?"

The three kids turn around to see a sickly green frog slowly crawling towards them.

Adelaide (Runs up to him): "Froggy, oh no!" (Picks him up): "What's wrong?"

Froggy (Puts his flipper on his stomach as it rumbles): "Auggggh!"

Sid (Walks next to her sister with Lincoln on the other side): "Looks like he has a tummy ache."

Adelaide: "Oh no! What should we do?"

Lincoln (Takes a closer look): "Hmmm…"

Froggy: "Aughh…"

Lincoln: "This reminds me of when my sister Lana's pet frog Hops got a tummy ache that one time. She had me help her pick…wait!" (Runs back to his backpack): "I got it!"

Sid: "Got what?"

Lincoln (Walks back while searching through his bag): "When Hops got sick with a tummy ache that one time, Lana had me help her pick some special mushrooms. She said they are known to cure any frog with tummy trouble. And it so happens…" (Pulls out some mushrooms): "I have some with me. I meant to give them to Lana when I realized I had some extra at the bottom of my bag from our last mushroom hunt. But good thing I didn't huh?"

Sid: "But will they work though?"

Lincoln (Bends over and puts a mushroom up to the frog's face): "There's only way to find out."

Froggy (Takes a whiff): "Sniff! Sniff!" (Shoots out his tongue, grabs a hold of the mushroom and pulls it into his mouth): "Gulp!" (Starts to feel better as his skin goes back to its original green color): "Ahhh…Ribbit!" (Jumps out of Adelaide's hands and onto to her head): "Ribbit!"

Adelaide: "Huh! It worked, Froggy all better now!"

Sid: "Wow, that was incredible Lincoln!"

Lincoln (Rolls his eyes): "Well, I can't take all the credit. It was my sister's knowledge of frogs that did most of the work."

Froggy: "Ribbit!" (Shoots his tongue at Lincoln's face): "Lick!"
Adelaide: "Aww! Froggy is saying thank you."

Lincoln: "Haha!" (Pets the frog's head): "You're welcome little guy."

Sid: "Come on you two, let's keep hanging out."

And so, like Sid said, the trio continues to hang out, which includes them playing pretend…

Adelaide (Dressed up as a fairy princess, while hiding behind a couch cushion): "Ahhh! Somebody please help me! The Two-Head Dragon has got me cornered."

Lincoln (Wearing a dragon mask with Froggy on his shoulder): "Roar!"

Froggy: "Rabbit!"

Sid (Runs in, while wearing a paper hat, holding a rolled-up newspaper, like it's a sword): "Don't fret dear princess! I…Sid of the Round Table…will save thee."

Adelaide: "My hero!"

Lincoln (Swats the newspaper out of Sid's hands): "Roar!"

Sid: "Oh no! I can't slay the dragon without my sword!"

Lincoln: "Roar!"

Sid: "Ahhh!"

Adelaide (Comes out of hiding): "Fear not brave knight!" (Jumps on Lincoln's back): "I shall help thee!"

Lincoln: "Roar!"

Adelaide: "Surrender now dragon…" (Wraps her arms around the boy and hugs him tightly): "Or be hugged to death!"

Lincoln (Pretends to choke): "Ackkk!" (Stumbles to the ground): "Oof! We been…defeated..." (Plays dead)

Froggy: "Ribbit!" (Plays dead as well)

Sid (Runs over to her sister and gives her a hug): "My hero!"

Dance to k-pop music…

Adelaide: "Look what I can do." (Does a ballerina silhouette): "Ta-da!"

Sid: "Oh yeah? Watch this!" (Goes upside down and starts to spin on her head): "Bzzzzzz…."

Lincoln: "Ooo…I want to try that." (Copies what's Sid doing): "Bzzzzz…"

Adeliade: "Me too! Me too!" (Does so): "Bzzzz…."

And as Lincoln promised, they baked cookies…

Sid (Pours content into a mixing bowl): "That should be enough peanut butter cups."

Lincoln: "Great!" (Looks at phone): "Next, we have to mix all the indigents together."

Adelaide (Gets all excited): "Oh! Oh! I can do it! I can do it!

Sid: "Adelaide, wait! We need to make sure the mixing bowl is prou…"

Adelaide (Turns the mixer on): "There!"

Mixer (Turns on and starts to spew cookie batter everywhere): "Whri…clump! Splat! Clump..."

Lincoln, Sid, and Adelaide: "Ahhh!"

Eventually…

Adelaide (Laying down on the couch, sleeping peacefully): "Zzzz…"

Lincoln: "Huh…" (Whispers to Sid): "I guess we tired her out."

Sid (Whispers back): "Nah. This is just her body's way of saying that she needs a break from having too much fun."

Lincoln: "Yeah, that makes sense."

Adeliade: "Zzzz…"

Sid (Grabs a blanket and wraps it around her sister): "Sleep tight Sis."

Just then…

Doorbell rings: "Ding-dong!"

Sid (Walks towards the door with Lincoln behind her): "Oh, that must be Ronnie Anne."

Sometime passes…

Adelaide: "Zzzz…"

A voice from outside: "So long Lincoln."

Adelaide (Starts to wake up): Zz…Snort! Wha…Ronnie Anne?"

Another voice: "It was fun hanging out with you."

Adelaide: "Sid?"

Lincoln: "Thanks guys, I had a real blast."

Adelaide: "Wait a minute…"

With wanting to know what's going on, Adelaide stumbles off the couch and walks over to the window. Once there, she sees that Sid and Ronnie Anne are outside waving goodbye to Lincoln, as he is entering the back of his father's vehicle.

Adelaide: "Wait!"

As fast as she could, Adelaide runs out the door and down the stairs. But unfortunately, once she got outside the van has just pulled out, while Sid and Ronnie Anne are still waving.

Adelaide (Walks over to the duo): "Where's Lincoln going?"

Ronnie Anne: "He's going home."

Adelaide: "Home? Wait…Ronnie Anne? When did you get here?"

Sid: "She came when you were sleeping."

Adelaide: "But why didn't you wake me up though?"

Sid: "We figure you needed the rest."

Ronnie Anne: "We were just on our way too see if you wanted to hang out some more. But that's when Lincoln's dad came and said they have to head home…and pick-up dinner for them and the rest of their family."

Adelaide (Disappointed by this): "Ah! And I didn't get to say goodbye."

Sid: "Don't worry Adelaide, Lincoln asks us to wish you bye for him."

But Adelaide did not respond any further as she turns around and starts to slowly walk back into the building with a bit of sadness in each step. Leaving Ronnie and Sid to look at each other with concern in their eyes. We soon cut to Adelaide's bedroom, where we see here laying on her bed, sadly looking up at the ceiling.

Adelaide: "Sigh…"

Somebody knocking on the door: "Adelaide?"

Adelaide (Picks her head up): "Yeah Sid?"

Sid (Opens the door a crack and sticks her head through): "Can we come in?"

Ronnie Anne (Sticks her head through as well): "We have a surprise for you."

Adelaide: "What kind of surprise?"

Sid: "Close your eyes and you will see."
Adelaide (Sits up and uses her hands to cover her eyes): "Okay."

With the young girl's eyes covered, the two older ones open the door completely and walk into the room, while Ronnie Anne is carrying an open laptop.

Adelaide: "Can I open my eyes now?"

Ronnie Anne (Places the laptop on the girl's lap): "Not yet."
Sid: "No peeking."
Ronnie Anne: "Okay, you can open them now."

Adelaide (Moves her hands from her eyes and…): "Gasp! Lincoln?!"

Lincoln (On the screen through video chat): "Hi Adelaide."

Adelaide: "Umm…Hi! What's going on?"

Lincoln: "Well, two little birdies told me that you were down in the dumps. Want to tell me what's that all about?"

Adelaide: "It just…you left before even saying goodbye to me."

Lincoln: "Oh, I'm sorry. But there was nothing I can do about it. Honest! My dad really wanted us to get on the highway before any traffic started."

Adelaide (Takes a deep breath): "Sigh. It's okay Lincoln, I understand."
Lincoln: "Don't feel sad Adelaide. I'm sure we'll see each other again when I come back to visit Ronnie Anne next time."

Adelaide: "Next time? You mean…" (Has a look of hope): "…you're coming back?"

Lincoln: "Yeah…someday. What? You honestly thought I only visit Ronnie Anne once a year? We always find ways to see each other, whether I come to where you guys live in Great Lake City or she comes to where I live in Royal Woods."

Ronnie Anne: "And whenever Lincoln does come back to hang out, you're more than welcome to tagalong Adelaide…When you can of course."

Adelaide: "Wow! Really?"
Ronnie Anne: "Yup!"

Lincoln: "We'll have lots of fun together."

Sid: "I'll say we will."

Adelaide (Very happy and touched by this): "Aww! Thanks guys." (Realizes something): "Hey Sid?"

Sid: "Yeah Sis?"

Adelaide: "Remember when I told you that there was something about Lincoln that I liked…something good?"

Sid: "Yeah, what about it?"

Adelaide: "I finally realized what that feeling was?"

Sid: "Oh, was it then?"

Adelaide (Looks away): "Well…" (Looks back): "He kind of reminds me of you."

Lincoln, Sid, and Ronnie Anne (All surprised and confused by this): "Wait, what?"

Adelaide: "You're both very kind, sweet, funny, and always try to make sure I have a smile on my face."

Ronnie Anne (Scratches her chin): "Hmmm…Know what Adelaide? The more I think about it, the more I agree with you on that statement."

Sid and Lincoln: "Really?"

Ronnie Anne: "Yeah, every time when I hang out with you guys, I keep seeing a bit of you in each other. You're both very enthusiastic, excitable, a bit clumsy at times…"

Lincoln and Sid: "Hey!"

Ronnie Anne: "Kidding! Kidding! Ha-ha! Sometimes…And you both put in a ton of effort into, like, everything you do. Especially when you put that effort into helping those you care about."

Lincoln: "Man, you're making it sound like we're twins or something."

Sid: "I know right?"

Ronnie Anne: "What I'm trying to say is…" (Starts to blush a little): "I sure am lucky to have you two as my best buds."

Lincoln and Sid (Touched by this): "Aww!"

Lincoln: "Well, I have to get going now. It's almost dinnertime here and I don't want to be late."

Lola (Bursts through Lincoln's bedroom door): "Lincoln! It's time for Dinner!"

Lincoln (Turns to his sister annoyed): "Lola! What have I told you about knocking?"

Lola (Rolls her eyes): "Whatever…" (Notices Adelaide on Lincoln's laptop screen): "Who's that you're talking too?"

Lincoln (Tries to block the screen): Umm…no one."

Lola: "Your lying, let me…" (Gets through him): "Huh!"

Adelaide: "Um…Hello, I'm Adelaide."

Lincoln: "Lola, it not what it loo…"

Lola (Shouts in the hallway): "Hey everyone! Lincolns talking with a girl on his laptop!"

Lincoln (Turns back to his screen in panic): "Uh oh! Got to go! Bye!"

And with that, Ronnie Anne's screen goes to black.

Ronne Anne, Sid, and Adelaide (All find this funny): "Haha!"

Ronnie Anne (Wipes a tear from her eye): "Oh, that Lincoln!"
