(My apologies I had to re-upload this because was fucking with me. Change the title to a more appropriate reference and combined the first two chapters in the one. Thank you for reading this little blurb I hope you enjoy)

(Summer 2011)

God knows how the workers could stand it. From asking around he found they didn't mind and the pay was real good. His uncle was always a generous man even his own detriment at times. How Jacob was gonna break the news to him was the concerning part. Nervousness creeped up within as he waited. I can't believe I'm doing this. The smell's of motor oil, windshield wiper fluid and hints of gasoline touched his nostrils. For Jacob it was overpowering to put it lightly. Stepping closer up to the outside door he propped it open. A breeze swept through, blowing the smells away. A figure stepped close moving alongside Jacob. He was a head taller with dark blond hair and brown eyes. The older man was his uncle, Dennis Morris. Dennis warmly smiled as he handed his nephew a bottle. Jacob nodded, sipping the ginger ale.

"I don't know how you can stand that smell," Jacob said once he stopped sipping. "I swear to God my nose feels like it's burning off."

Dennis shrugged. "Ya get used to it after awhile," he replied, he couldn't stop wondering why his nephew had dropped in unannounced. "Anything interesting happen as of late?."

Jacob broke eye contact and his gaze shifted out the door. His face went pale as he stepped through the opening. He gestured for his uncle to follow. Dennis did as told, closing the door behind him. It went to a small patio area with a decent size table and some chairs.

"You're gonna want to be seated for this." Jacob told him.

Dennis felt a pit forming in his gut. Pulling out a chair he sat down. Jacob didn't sit but remained standing. Taking another sip Jacob then places the bottle down onto the table. Dennis could clearly see the pain in Jacob's eyes. Something was very wrong and he could feel it.

"What's wrong?," he asked. "What happened?."

Jacob could hear the faint panic building up with his uncle's voice. Jacob didn't want to tell him but he had to. Taking a breath he looked his uncle dead in the eyes. Best I give it to him straight out. Jacob told himself before clearing his throat.

"Jim and Donna are dead. A car crash killed them. I just found out half an hour ago." his tone grew darker as his eyes moved downward towards the floor.

Jacob's hands began shaking. He had bottled up his own reaction to their deaths. Now it was beginning to boil within the pot. Dennis was stunned. It took him a moment to process what he just heard. His sister and her husband were now dead!. Rubbing his eyes in disbelief he looked at Jacob. Tears were running down the boy's face. Standing he moved over to his nephew and embraced him. It was also hard to believe, it felt like a dream. Then Jacob completely broke down into tears unable to contain himself any longer.

"If I had gone with them I'd be with them!." Jacob cried.

Dennis muttered a 'thank god' under his breath. He couldn't imagine losing all three of them. It would probably break him beyond belief.

"It's gonna be alright, I promise it will be ok" Dennis deeply said.

(3 Years later: Jacob age 17)

It was now 2014. Three years since his parents died and he had mostly gotten over it. He had missed out on alot of things. He and his parents were at the time before their death watching Transformers prime. They watched the miniseries and were eager to continue onwards. They died unfortunately before season 1 came out. Jacob didn't have the heart to continue without them. In that time he had gotten his license thanks to his uncle's encouragement and even had a stable part time job. Since those three years things have only gotten better. To even think that though still hurts. At least he still had his uncle.

Shifting up a gear he drove out of the school parking lot turning onto the road with a cautious look around. That car crash really hammered home safe driving for him. Whilst others were content racing down the street he was happy keeping the exact speed limit and looking both ways before crossing. Reaching for the radio he flipped it on.

"Under my umbrella…" The singing began only for Jacob to switch stations in a heartbeat.

He sighed, grabbing a CD. "I fucking hate that song" he grumbled.

"Today we have been seeing strange anomalies in the Ontario area. Large pink clouds are now spreading further down south towards the greater Toronto area" A male radio host said.

Jacob did a double take before looking at the clouds above. They looked normal to him. Jacob then rolled his eyes. Yeah right. Sliding in the CD he then clicked play. The radio host was then cut off and replaced with a custom playlist Jacob had set up for himself. He would have to bypass home today, He had some errands to run and then he wouldn't reach home by 7pm. Continuing down the road he let himself relax and music continued to play.

He continued driving, hands on the wheel with a sharp focus on what was in front of him. He had switched out CDs twice. Driving over a large hill he hummed to the song 'All I wanna do' by The Beach Boys. Reaching the top of the hill he saw the clouds beyond. Suddenly he slammed on the breaks, skidding to a dead halt. Small clouds of dirt kicked up as Jacob stared out of the front windscreen. Beyond no further than maybe 2 miles was a large pink cloud rapidly approaching. It had to be going at least 40 miles an hour.

"Well I'll be damned," he muttered in surprise. "The guy was telling the truth."

The clouds then overtook the car as Jacob continued watching in fascination. His eyes continued looking up at the sky with wonder. He had no clue how this was possible but he felt like he didn't want to know. Suddenly without warning some of the CDs began floating towards the ceiling. Looking confused Jacob then felt light.

"What's going on?…" Opening the door he peaked out only to see the ground quickly shrinking.

Quickly he slammed it shut. The car began jetting upward at 15 miles an hour into the sky. Jacob's entire body felt weightless, as if gravity had completely turned off. Fear boiled from within as the car broke into the clouds. Suddenly he was encapsulated by them.

"What a way to go out," he muttered grimly. "First I miss getting killed in a car crash and now this!."

It boggled his mind as he surrendered to his fate. Letting out a sigh he tightened the seat belt. Biting his lower lip he could see the clouds beginning to part. Just family he could see a tan color on the other end. Suddenly the clouds parted and he saw a vast desert below him. Looking in confusion he raised any eyebrow.

"What the fuck?."

A quick glance he realized he wasn't that far off the 'ground'. No less than 30 feet. Quickly tightening the seat belt even more he then yanked the side mirror off. cocking back his arm he chucked it at the front windscreen causing it to shatter. Quickly shielding his face the shards of glass harmlessly bounced off. Suddenly gravity returned and the ground came up to meet him. The car plummeted front end first towards the ground.

"This is gonna hurt!." He then forced himself to relax all of his muscles.

The car then collided with the ground, its entire front end caving underneath the pressure. Parts spat out the side as the car rolled onto its top. It slid across the ground for a few feet before coming to a dead halt. Smoke began billowing from what was left of the engine as the door swung open. Jacob dragged himself across the sand away from the car. Blood dripped down his forehead and nose. After 30 feet he stopped and slumped.

"Oh thank god I'm alive," he breathed deeply. "Holy shit that was unbelievable"

Taking a few more deep breaths he felt his body aching all over. Groaning he felt The adrenaline beginning to wear off. Now it's gonna hurt. His vision began to grow dark. He was losing consciousness. Oh great, can it get any worse?. He thought. Suddenly a loud cracking sound went off. Slowly he managed to turn his head as his vision continued to darken. Beyond what is a green and blue swirling portal. Stepping out was a large robot with blue optics and red and blue paint. Jacob felt his heart go cold. It can't be!, he thought in shock. But he doesn't exist?!. Before he could even process it everything went black. Being plunged headfirst into confusion and losing all sense of reality.

His eyes slowly opened as his blurred vision slowly returned to normal. Above was a rocky ceiling with lights hanging from catwalks. Looking around he saw a elevator, a large computer with thin green screens, a glass chamber which had clear doors and the autobot symbol on the floor. Jacob winched at the sight. It wasn't a dream, he pulled himself upright. His body protesting and forcing himself back down. He groaned as he looked around some more. It looks exactly how I remember it. He thought in awe. His eyes than settled on the dug in section of the far wall. Multiple 40 foot tall rings sat waiting to be used. The ground bridge. He recalled. Taking a quick breath he forced himself back up right, ignoring the throbbing pain from his muscles and bones.

Girting his teeth he took a deep breath. "Jesus Christ, I'm lucky to be alive"

Getting a better look he saw more to the hub area. He saw a counter with cabinets underneath it. Remnants of the old tenants. Obviously there wouldn't be anything in it.

"First I crash the car in the middle of the desert and now I'm here," he sighed deeply. "How can this get any crazier?"

As if on cue a pair of heavy metal footsteps began towards him from the long corridor which led deeper into the base. Jacob winched again. I really got to keep my mouth shut. He pinched the bridge of his nose and thought. Straightening out his shirt he then checked the covers. Still wearing pants. The footsteps drew closer and and Jacob looked. Setting the blanket down he took a calming breath. Put the best foot forward and hope for the best. Scratching the back of his head he saw the towering figure of Optimus prime enter. He was even bigger than he had ever imagined. 30 feet tall with a blue and red paint job with patches of silver. On both arms were autobot insignias. Is optics glowed a warming blue. Such a cold tone never felt so warm to Jacob before. It felt odd. The autobot leader saw Jacob and approached. Jacob felt a wave a nervousness slamming him, his mind racing from one end to the other trying to make sense of it all.

Optimus stopped no further than 10 feet away. Getting down on one knee to meet the humans gaze. The human didn't look afraid of him but more confused than anything else.

"How are you feeling?" Optimus inquired.

"Not great but it's better than being dead," The human shrugged. he debated on whether or not to tell him his name but finally settled on doing it after a moment of silence. The truth will come out eventually. "I'm Jacob... I already know who you are Optimus"

Optimus looked confused. "Are you involved with the government?" Prime asked.

Jacob shook his head. Despite the human being the first civilian to make a contact with an alien he was surprisingly casual about it, slight nervousness was all prime could see.

He decided to get right to the point. "How did you end up 300 miles in the desert?"

Jacob bit his lower lip. Lying to Optimus would be impossible. He could obviously tell someone would be lying to him. The truth was the only option.

"I was driving home and my car got lifted into the air as if gravity suddenly shut off. Once I pierce through the clouds I crashed right into the desert front first," he gave the clip notes version of what happened. "Just how did you find me?"

The kid was smarter than Optimus had originally thought. "There was a massive energy spike just above where you landed. Myself and my team were investigating"

"Were the clouds above pinkish?" Jacob inquired softly.

Optimus nodded. "Yes"

There was only one real explanation aside from being in a coma. "An Inter-dimensional jump!," Jacob said in shock. "Oh my god I actually jumped dimensions!"

"Are you certain?" Optimus skeptically said.

"Very certain. If this was a coma I wouldn't be able to feel anything. I'd be enough morphine to give me a craving for it"

Optimus was even more curious now. For someone who is a civilian he knew a great deal more than the average person about his kind.

"Say if you're from another dimension how do you still know about me and what we do here?"

Jacob smiled warmly. "In my world this is all fictional. Me and my parents to watch the five part mini series. We were planning on watching the entirety of season one before they ended up in a car crash which killed them. I never continued on past that point" Shaking in his hand slowly began to subside. His voice held a grief to it. Dredging up painful memories from that day 3 years ago.

"Would you be willing to repeat what you said in a lie detector test?" Optimus inquired.

Jacob wholeheartedly nodded. "I speak the truth and nothing but the truth," he said and then gestured to the hallway. "They're listening aren't they"

Optimus nodded slightly. "Anything else you wanna tell me before they come out?"

"Are there any other humans?"

Optimus shook his head. Jacob took a breath. This was a surprise, he ended up before the series began. Hopefully it was only a few days. Then thought came to mind in a heartbeat. Cliff jumper was still alive, and he probably could remain alive and Jacob had the power to change his fate. Hesitation swept over him. Would i mess with time?. He mused. Dashing the thought away he composed himself. He probably looked like an idiot whist thinking that.

Optimus keyed his comm twice but said nothing. Within a moment 5 Autobot's stepped out. The human recognized them all. Even calling them by their names.

"Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Ratchet and Arcee..."

All five came to a grinding halt at the mention of her names. Each of them stared at him with suspicion. I could've done that a lot better. He realized.

"Ratchet grab the scanner and prepare to do a lie detector test" Optimus told the white and orange mech.

"All right but I still think he's screwy" Ratchet replied moving over towards the computer section.

Jacob didn't seemed fazed by the comment. It must've been hard for them to believe it. Being confronted with the reality that alternate dimensions exist. Jacob himself was still wrapping his head around it. It didn't help you could feel every pair of optic Burning through his head, Not in a literal sense but more of a metaphorical one. The bot then began to spread out. Bulkhead moved over to the base entrance. Can't blame them for it. Jacob looked to see Arcee move closer to Prime. Bumblebee had taken the hallway whilst cliffjumper took the groundbridge.

Ratchet and then approached with a scanner in hand. "This should only take a few minutes" he said dryly.

"I've got the rest of my life. I doubt I will be going anywhere soon" Jacob half jokingly commented.

After 30 minutes of answering questions the old medic looked at the scanner with disbelief. Not a single lie was detected. Optimus was handed it and he reviewed it. Optimus wasn't fully convinced but it was enough for now. Jacob had moved to a more comfortable sitting position with both legs crossed. He looked up at the two as they passed the pad along. Mixed emotions quickly filled the room.

"If you wanna check public records you'll have to look in Canada" Jacob suggested.

Ratchet looked at him. Pulling out another data pad he took a picture of the boy and enhanced the face.

"This should settle it" he replied.

Ratchet and then plugged it into the computer and performed a facial recognition check. After a long moment a profile appeared. Ratchet proudly smiled in triumph.

Everyone read the thing including Jacob. The differences were already apparent. Jacob pulled out his license.

"For starters I'm 17," he then passed it to Optimus who examined it. "Second, my parents are dead. Third I have an uncle named Dennis and lastly I own a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix which I highly doubt exists here and if you want to go the extra mile and check it go ahead"

Ratchet than studied the file and realized the boy was right. The scans cooperated his age to be 17. The version he was looking at was three years younger. Parents were currently living and he had no uncle. Opening a search engine he typed in the name of the car and the year it came out and got nothing.

"I'll be right back" ratchet said before moving down the hallway at a brisk pace.

"Good luck" Jacob called after him.

Arcee crossed her arms skeptically and eyed him. He looked sure of himself.

"You're lucky ended up here rather than vacuum" Cliff commented looking on the bright side.

Jacob shivered and nodded. "Yeah, now that's an I didn't need" he replied.

Cliff chuckled. "Don't worry I'm sure Ratchet will find a way to send you home" he reassuringly told him.

He sure came around quick. Jacob nodded and smiled softy. The reassurance he definitely had been needing for sometime. Just a little bit of hope to keep him going.

Optimus kept his attention on the boy and Studied his movements. He genuinely couldn't tell if he was lying or not. The lie detector had to give him a pass and even the records had doubly confirmed his story. He then gave back the license. Jacob looked at it and breathed a sigh. It wasn't going to do him much good.

This was the first time he noticed how dirty he was. Even his hair was a complete mess. "God I look like shit don't I?" he asked everyone.

Bumblebee let out a sting of beeps and warbles which Jacob cannot understand.

"He says you look like you had a run-in with a sand dune" Bulkhead translated.

"Really I expected worse" Jacob laughed.

Optimus then looked to Arcee. "Arcee please show Jacob where he could clean up" he said.

Arcee pouted. "Fine," she said before gesturing the human to follow her. "Come on dusty let's get going"

Jacob unfolded his legs and stepped onto the human area. His legs shook as he walked towards the stairs. Grabbing onto the railing he held himself up.

"I might get an x-ray after" he said slowly moving himself down the stairs.

Arcee watched him. She could see clearly the boy was still a ton of pain, his face contorted with each step. She'd seen the front of the car. She stepped over to him and gently picked him up around the chest. She could feel his body relax and the pain on his face subside.

"Thank you"

"Just try not to get any funny ideas" she told him.

Jacob nodded as Arcee took him away. Ratchet Move paste them and into the hub area. An aura of defeat clung to him.

"It doesn't exist. So what now?" Ratchet voiced.

Optimus then turned to Bumblebee. "Bumblebee I want you to patrol the town Jacob's from. If you see the younger version then that will settle at once and for all"

The scout beeped in confirmation. Cliff shrugged. Bulkhead forced himself to relaxed.

"So what are we gonna do with the information he has. We could use it to give the Deceptacon's a good pounding" Bulkhead expressed his opinion.

Optimus also wondered. "I'm not sure. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it"

End of chapter.
