In Ciinibar courtyard, Sofia and Scarlett are teaching Alina of how she can use her energy powers from her Amulet of Avaria. Watching her progress was Amber, James and Sloane. Scarlett conjures the two targets in front of the three.
"Princess Alina, you'll want to be knowing how to use your amulet to it's full potential." Scarlett said.
"Yes, Queen Scarlett." Alina nodded.
"The first thing you'll need to learn is to clear your mind before using your amulet." Scarlett said.
"And be very specific in what you want it to do." Sofia said.
"But first, would you mind hand over your amulet please?"
Alina takes off her amulet from her neck as Scarlett took her amulet in her hand and smiled.
"So how do I control my energy powers?" Alina asked as Scarlett smirked.
"Here's the thing: you don't." Scarlett said.
"What do you mean?" Alina asked.
"To control your energy, you must let it out." Scarlett said as she pointed her hand at the nearby target and closed her eyes. "Just let the energy flow naturally through you."
Alina's eyes widened as a small red orb of energy built in Scarlett's hand before she opened her eyes.
"And then, just release it."
She gave out a shout as she thrust her hand forward and a powerful energy blast burst from her hand and instantly blew the target to smithereens, sending debris everywhere as she smirked.
"Now you try."
Alina nodded as she did what Scarlett told her to do. She sighed as she pointed her hand at the target and closed her eyes. Then, a small blue orb of energy appeared in her hand as Sofia and others saw it in surprised.
"Hey, you're doing it!" James shouted.
"What?" Alina asked, only she accidentally fires a small blue energy as it hits around the courtyard instead of the target. Sofia, Scarlett, James, Amber and Sloane ducked as they avoid getting hit before the energy blast hits the walls of the castle, leaving a small black marks on it. Alina covers her mouth in gasp.
"James!" Sofia, Scarlett, Sloane and Amber shouted.
"What?" James said as Amber smack him in the head with her hand. "Ow!"
"Do not interrupt Alina's training!" Amber scolded the prince.
"Sorry."
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that to your castle." Alina apologized.
"It's all right, Alina." Scarlett smiled. "Accidents always happened. You almost did good with your small blue energy in your hand."
"I do?"
"Yes, so let's try it again and remember: focus. Let the energy flow through you and release it."
Alina raised her hand again at the target and closed her eyes again. Then a blue orb of energy appeared in her hand again, only this time it's grows big. Sofia, Scarlett and others gasps as Alina's energy ball grows larger as she opened her eyes. She gave out a yell as she thrusts her hand forward and the blast of powerful energy burst through and blew the target into smithereens.
"Impressive." Scarlett applauded as she gives Alina's amulet back to her. "Whether you wear your amulet or not, you have your mother's blood and magic inside you."
"I can't believe it." Alina said as she looked at her both hands in surprised.
"Well, what's important is that you have that power to save our kingdom and your mother." Sloane said, placing her hand on her shoulders, which Alina smiled.
"And you're going to be a great ruler someday." Sofia said.
"In the meantime, why don't you two go enjoy walk around the castle for a while, okay?" Scarlett asked both Sofia and Alina.
"Sure, let's go Alina." Sofia said.
"Of course." Alina said as the two left.
"You think Alina will be all right controlling her powers with or without her amulet?" Amber asked.
"All in due time, Amber. Alina still have a long way to master her powers." Scarlett said.
Inside of the Cinnibar Castle, at the throne room, Moon, Cobalt and Emerald were having their conversation with each other. Cobalt told Moon his story of how he and Scarlett helped save Sofia from an evil emperor and joined her army while Emerald told her story of Scarlett and her army helped her reclaim her island kingdom of Elm Reef.
"That's the most interesting story you guys told me about." Moon said. "Scarlett must be lucky to have two friends like you guys."
"She is, and without us, she would be nothing." Emerald said.
"Now, what's your side of the story?" Cobalt asked.
"What do you mean?" Moon asked.
"I mean, like how do you became Moon Light?"
Moon sighed. "Long ago, I have no parents since I was born. That's where my master took me in and raised me as his own son."
"That's so horrible you have no parents." Emerald said.
"I know. You see, my master was the original Moon Light before me. He was a great crime fighter who he saved everyone from criminals and thieves. So he starts to trains me with magic and combat skills. And when he got old and before his passing, he told me that I will keep his staff and his mantle as he said to me that I had to promised him something."
"And what's that?"
"I was destined for something greater and he also told me one day, I will find my calling of adventure, fighting crimes and protect the good people of this world. That's the promise I keep for my master."
"Well, that took you long." Cobalt said.
"What do you mean by that?" Moon asked, confused.
"You've grown and we saw you fighting Razor's men at the village at our aid. That's something the great warrior like you have."
"I guess so."
As then, Scarlett along with Amber, James and Sloane came from the door to see Moon, Cobalt and Emerald.
"Hey guys." Scarlett said.
"Hey babe." Cobalt said. "How's Alina's training doing?"
"Got her first strike at the target."
"Really?" Emerald asked.
"She did control her energy powers from her amulet very good." Amber said.
"And she learned it so well." Sloane said.
"She's so brilliant of using her powers." James said.
"So, what you guys doing?" Scarlett asked.
"We're just telling stories to each other." Emerald said as she looked at Moon. "Moon here has told us an interesting story of his life."
"Is that so?"
"Yeah, and I will tell it again if you want." Moon said.
"Go ahead."
It was now nighttime in Cinnibar Castle. Sofia and Alina were at the balcony, having conversations with each other. Sofia told Alina stories of how she became a princess in Enchancia and also told her of her great adventures as both of Storybook Keeper and the Protector of the Ever Realm.
"That's the most interesting story I've ever heard, Sofia." Alina smiled.
"And I have couldn't done it without the help of my family and friends." Sofia said.
"I wanted to ask that how long do you know of Scarlett?"
"Some years ago. Scarlett was without a doubt the greatest warrior and protector of the Ever Realm. She's also my cousin."
"Cousin?" Alina asked with an questionable look?
"Scarlett's mother has a brother who is my birth father before he died at sea. She didn't tell me more about it."
"I see." Alina said with a smile. The girls looked up to see stars shining in the night sky. Alina sees the shooting star. "The stars are so beautiful, isn't it?"
"It really is."
"You know, you're the first person I've ever talked to."
"How so?"
"It was my first time meeting a Protector, like you." Alina said as Sofia listens to her story. "You had such a great family and friends with you. When Sloane served me and my family as the kingdom's captain, she was very brave, courageous and strong like Scarlett. And now, my amulet has given me powers for the first time."
"And does it help you when Scarlett trains you how to control it?"
"Yes. And now, I'm so afraid what Razor is going to do with my mother. She stayed just to gives us time to escape but she was now captured." Alina looked down as her single tear starts to fall on her right eye. "Ever since he took over my home, I just don't know what else to do. I failed her and my people."
Sofia sighed as she wipes Alina's tear with her thumb as Alina looked at her. "No, absolutely not. From what I can tell, your mother was a great queen who risk her life to defend your home. That's a good chance for you and Sloane to escape from Razor."
"You think so?"
"Of course I think so. What's important is that I made a promise to you and Sloane my family, friends and I will do anything in our power to save your mother, your home and defeat that evil wizard, once and for all."
Alina smiled as her tears fell on her face as she hugged her friend and savior. "You're the bestest friend I've ever had. Thank you."
Sofia smiled as she hugged Alina as well.
"Alina." Both Sofia and Alina turned to see Sloane leaning on the wall. "It's time for bed."
"Okay." Alina said before facing at Sofia. "Good night Sofia."
"Good night Alina." Sofia said as Alina and Sloane left to their room. Sofia then looked back at the stars and then she sense something in which she smiled as she already knows who it is. "I know you're watching the whole scene, Scarlett."
"Believe me, I've watched the whole thing." Scarlett was on the rooftop watching the whole scene. She landed on the balcony as she walked to her apprentice. "I had to say that's some wise words you got for Alina. One of these days, you're going to be a good leader like me."
"I'm not so sure that if I'm ready to be a leader like you."
Scarlett chuckles softly as she placed her hand onto Sofia's shoulders. "I know how you feel Sofia. A leader must have courage, a strong heart and a very smart mind that helps protecting his or her family and friends to battle evil forces. And most importantly, do what you believe is right."
Sofia sighed. "I hope so. I'm not sure if I'm ready or not."
"I'm sure you will. I know it."
Far away from Cinnibar, Razor was at the cliffs staring down at the castle. He summons his crystal ball as he sees Alina brushing her blue hair while looking at the mirror. He then uses his teleportation spell as he teleports to the Cinnibar Castle.
In the room, Alina was finished brushed her hair as she puts on her night gown and sits on her bed.
"What a night. I usually love this place." Alina said.
"I agree. This is the first time I've seen this castle. And Scarlett was a wise queen indeed." Sloane said.
"She is. She's also Sofia's cousin."
Sloane looked at Alina with a less surprised look. "I didn't know about that."
"And Korra said Sofia was Scarlett's best apprentice." Alina smiled. "You know, I really had a good time with Sofia."
"Well, what do you think about her?"
"She's so sweet, brave and full of courage. She's was like... the sister figure I've ever had. And she told all of her stories of her adventures."
Sloane smiled as she sits next to Alina on the bed. "And you like it when Scarlett teaches you how to use your powers?"
"I like it, though Scarlett was the best teacher and a queen of this kingdom." Alina said as she looked at her amulet. "And most of all, I now know how to use it."
"That's good to hear. Because with Sofia and Scarlett's help, we will put an end to Razor's reign, save your mother and free our kingdom."
"Yes."
"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure of that my friends." Both Sloane and Alina stood up in alert as they turned to see Razor was behind them.
"Razor!" Alina gasp in fear as Sloane stood in front of her, unsheathing her rapier.
"How did you get here?" Sloane asked.
"I have my ways of sneaking in the castle without getting myself caught by the guards." Razor chuckles evilly. "And I see your savior and her lackeys are not here, I might as well take princess back to her mother."
"You have my mother? What did you do to her?" Alina asked.
"Don't worry, your mother is safe as long as you're coming home with me."
"Not going to happen, traitor!" Sloane yelled as she charged her rapier at Razor, but he fires his pulse of orange energy at Sloane sending her to the wall unconscious.
"Sloane!" Alina gasp as Razor walks closer to her as she walks backward in fear.
"Now my princess, be a good girl and come with me but don't try to do something stupid." Razor said.
Alina looks around and sees the red button on the wall. Without hesitation, Alina fires her blue energy at Razor, which he deflect it by his right hand. He then sees Alina rushed to the wall where she pressed the button as the alarm went on.
At the balcony, Sofia and Scarlett have heard the alarm went on.
"The alarm!" Scarlett said.
"It's from Alina's room. Let's go!" Sofia said as both her and Scarlett ran to the doors to Alina and Sloane's room. When they open it, they gasp as they see Razor carry Alina tied by a orange rope of energy around her body.
"Ah good timing, we're just about to leave." Razor said.
"Razor." Sofia growled as she summons her Dream Rod and Scarlett summons her Crimson Justice Keyblade. "Let Alina go now!"
"Sorry princess, but it's time for me to take her back to her mother and you and your friends will not interfere this time."
"You son of a..." Both Scarlett and Sofia fired their Firaga at him.
"Farewell, Protectors." Razor laughed evilly as he disappeared by his teleportation as the Firaga Spells hit the wall.
"ALINA!" Sofia and Scarlett yelled. Just then, Amber, James, Moon, Cobalt and Emerald came to the scene where they see Sloane was waking up.
"What happened?" Amber asked.
"Alina. Where's Alina?" Sloane asked.
"She... She was captured by Razor." Scarlett said as everyone except her and Sofia gasped. Sofia was on her knees as she placed her both hands on her face and starts to cry. Amber and James walked in as they hugged her, trying to comfort her.
And that's the fifth chapter.
I want to thank my friend Jake for making a scene where Scarlett trains Alina hot to control her powers. And now Razor has finally captured Alina and takes her back to Avaria. What would happen now to our heroes. Will Sofia, Scarlett and friends finds a way to save Alina? What evil plans Razor has in mind to use Alina's powers from her amulet? Can our heroes plan this in time?
