Chapter 32: Nightmare Night

Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter and I am pleased to announce that this one is a Halloween Special! Whoo! Got it done with just enough time to spare. I think you'll like what I have planned for this. I'd like to thank masters123lfm for giving me the idea to do a Halloween chapter for this story but this turned out a lot better than I had planned. Please Review and Enjoy.

It was that spooky time of the year, Nightmare Night. A night for frights and terrors, or in the case of Drake City, it's the night of Fright Fest. Where the citizens dress up and have fun trying to scare people.

However, some people weren't in the holiday mood. In her room, Arkayna was laying on her bed thinking about what happened with Imani.

Flashback:

"What do you mean Arkyana's no longer the leader?" Dante asks.

In the main room, we see the Mysticons, Malvaron and Seekers talking with Dante, Doug and Lady Nimue while Musa and Tecna were on video call.

"Well you see it started when we—" Arkayna said.

"We? No. There is no we in this situation. This was all you." Sophie interrupts.

"You blew it Princess." Zarya said.

"Will someone please tell us what's going on?" Tecna asks.

"Arkayna broke every rule there was to spend time with Proxima and the two of them got stuck together." Malvaron explains.

"And because of that Imani decided that Arkayna needed to be punished and has temporarily stripped of her title as Leader." Zhalia said.

"So who's the leader now?" Tecna asks.

"Yo." Ryou declares raising his hand.

"Unexpected but we can still work with this." Dante said surprised.

"At least they passed it to a decent substitute." Lady Nimue said.

"Wait. Wait. Wait. Hold up. You guys are fine with Ryou being the leader?" Arkayna asks.

"Ryou has proven himself and his strategies have led us to victory on many occasions." Em said.

"Em you're on their side. You're my friend." Arkayna said.

"A friend you turned into a statue so you can ditch us." Piper reminds.

"I leave for a few concerts and this happens?" Musa cringed.

"Look I made a mistake, but everyone messes up from time to time." Arkayna said.

"To time to time to time." Piper emphasizes.

"To time." Tecna adds.

"Arkayna I'm sorry to say but this has been a problem with you since day one." Zarya said.

"And to tell you the truth we're sick of it." Sophie said.

"You constantly think you can have it all even when the Cosmoverse itself is telling you no. You refuse to make the tough calls." Ryou said.

"What's wrong with trying to find a way we all can win?" Arkayna asks.

"Nothing, but you keep letting what you want take priority over what's best for everyone." Malvaron said.

"Look Arkayna until you can prove to Imani that you're worthy of reclaiming the role of Leader you're just gonna have to live with this choice." Dante said.

"Don't worry I promise I'll do my best to make things work until you're ready. But I hope I can still count on your support." Ryou said holding out his hand with a smile.

However, Arkayna was not happy by this. She had to say goodbye to her sister and the original Mysticons don't think she's cut out to be leader anymore. So many emotions were going through her head and none of them were positive.

"Whatever." Turning away Arkayna walks back to her room leaving Ryou and the others alone.

"Should I go talk to her?" Em asks.

"I think she needs a little time by herself to cool down." Zarya said.

"Yeah too much sad face." Piper pouts.

Sighing Ryou holds his head. "I hope I can do this leadership thing."

Walking over, Zarya put a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey don't worry, anything you need help with we got your back." Zarya smiles.

"Always." Piper said as Choko ran in front of Ryou and saluted him.

"Thanks guys. Really. It means a lot." Ryou smiles.

"We got your back leader." Zhalia smiles.

"I guess we better go tell the others about this recent change." Lady Nimue said.

"Yeah." Dante pauses before looking at his son with a look of pride on his face.

"Once we finish these last concerts we'll be back in no time." Musa said.

"Save us some fun." Tecna smiles as they hung up.

Flashback End:

As Arkayna was lost in thoughts she didn't notice something sneak into her room.

Suddenly she heard a scream waking her up.

"What in the?!" Looking down the room she saw Choko limping down the hall with a knife in his head and blood running down his body. "Oh my goblin Choko!"

Getting out of bed, she ran to the little foz as it collapsed to the ground.

"Choko stay with me! Don't die! Who did this to you?" Arkayna panics.

"I did." A scary voice said as a pair of hands grabbed her. "Booga! Booga! Booga!"

Screaming in fear, Arkayna drops Choko to see Piper dressed in an orange jester outfit with purple and black diamond patterns that had a few tears with skeleton makeup on her face and a scepter.

"We got her Choko." Piper laughs as Choko sat up laughing at her revealing he was fine.

"What is wrong with you guys? I thought Choko was going to die." Arkayna said.

"Come on Arkayna it's Nightmare Night." Piper said as Choko took the knife out revealing it was a fake and so was the blood.

"Really? It's that time of year already?" Arkayna asks standing. "Oh man how could I forget?"

"Yep and consider yourself lucky Zarya and Ryou went after others." Piper said.

"Huh? I never thought Zarya was into Nightmare Night." Arkayna asks when they heard a loud scream echo through the halls.

"THE DEMONS ARE AFTER ME!" Em said running down one hallway while Doug ran from the opposite end screaming.

"DON'T EAT MY SOUL!" Doug yells as they smashed into each other and fell to the ground.

"Em are you okay?" Arkayna asks.

"I hate Nightmare Night!" Em whines as they heard laughter.

From down the hall, Zarya and Ryou came out dressed in costumes. Zarya was dressed like a knight in battle damaged armor with skeleton makeup and multiple arrows in her back and Ryou was dressed like a spooky voodoo warlock with bone bracelets and necklace and the top half of his face was a skeleton.

"Man I love Nightmare Night!" Zarya smiles.

"We got you." Ryou smiles.

"No fair you used a real demon to scare us." Doug whines.

"They scared you too huh?" Arkayna cringed.

"You got her?" Zarya asks looking at Piper who smiles. "Attagirl."

"I didn't know you were so enthusiastic about Nightmare Night." Em said as they got up.

"Are you kidding it's the best holiday of the year. It has something for all of us. It has fun games and dressing up for Piper, it has scares and pranks for me and Ryou and Choko just love all the Nightmare Goodies." Zarya said.

"Not to mention it was our best hauls. We'd steal Candy and treats from all the busy stands those kids in the Undercity love it just as much as we do." Ryou smiles.

"Ugh I hate the scares." Doug groans.

"Come on get into the holiday spirit. We could use some." Zarya said.

"Yeah put on a costume and we'll head into the city." Ryou suggests.

"Uh no thanks. I'm good." Arkayna said.

"Wait what? You're saying no to a night of fun with your friends?" Zarya asks.

"Well I don't see Sophie, Zhalia or even Malvaron eager to go." Arkayna said when the doors opened.

"Happy Nightmare everyone!" Malvaron said wearing Astromancer robes and a bald cap on his head. "Hey who am I? If you open that door, you will bring about the apocalypse!" Mavlaron said mimicking Nova Terron causing everyone to laugh while Arkayna smirks.

"Oh my goblin dude that is a solid Nova Terron impression." Doug laughs.

"Thanks I've been doing it behind his back for years. Lots of practice." Malvaron said proudly.

"Ooh love the costumes." Turning around they saw Sophie wearing a witches costume with a big black hat on her head and a broom while Zhalia was wearing an all leather outfit with a crossbow in her hand.

"Whoa, great Witch's costume Sophie." Ryou said.

"I see I'm not the only one who wanted to do the dark magic look." Sophie said looking at his costume.

"And Zhalia you look cool as a…" Piper pauses trying to figure it out.

"I'm a Monster Hunter. I scare the things that scare normal people." Zhalia smirks.

"Nice." Zarya said as they high fived.

Making their way to the main room, Sophie took out her glyph and Musa and Tecna appear on screen.

"Hey guys!" Both girls smiled.

"Happy Nightmare Night!" They all waved.

"Whoa love the costumes." Tecna said before noticing Arkayna wasn't wearing one. "Hey Arkayna where's your costume?"

"She's going as a princess too good for fun." Zarya smirks.

"Man it looks like fun. I wish we were coming back today. Sadly Metz called Tecna and we have to go somewhere on Seeker business." Musa said.

"Aw man I was hoping you had a Nightmare Night song for us." Piper said.

"Piper, you can't just make Musa come up with a song. It takes time to figure one out." Em said.

"Actually I did make one. I call it Spooky Scary Skeletons." Musa said making Piper gasp.

"We're Spooky Scary Skeletons!" Piper said pulling Zarya and Ryou in close.

"Uh Piper you know you're not technically—" Tecna starts.

"Oh let her have it Tecna." Arkayna said stopping her.

"Any chance we can get a private show when you two get back?" Zhalia asks.

"Well I don't know. Doesn't really feel right to do a Nightmare Night Song after Nightmare Night." Musa said.

"I'll give you some of Nighmare treats." Ryou offers.

"Hmm throw in an order of Snorkballs and a Slush Gulpie and it's a deal." Musa offers.

"Done." Ryou said.

"Have fun guys. Take some pics for us." Tecna said as they hung up.

"Way to negotiate Ryou." Malvaron said.

"You just got us a private show of Musa." Doug squeals.

"I'm gonna need another snack bag." Ryou said.

Chirping in agreement, Choko came out with a pillowcase.

"So what do you guys do during the festival?" Malvaron asks.

"It's the best. We go on tons of games, a haunted house, a maze, eat tons of food, they even have a band and a costume contests." Piper said.

"Ooh can we got Arkayna? That sounds fun." Em said.

"Well as fun as this sounds I prefer to watch all the Nightmare Night specials. My Soap Opera is getting good." Arkayna said.

"Oh please, I bet none of them come close to the best Nightmare tale of all time." Zarya said.

"Ooh I know which you mean." Piper giggles.

"The Saunderson Sisters." Ryou chuckles.

"The who?" Doug asks.

"You seriously don't know? That's like the most iconic Nightmare Night story. Even I know it." Arkayna said.

"The Sanderson Sisters. They were 5 of the most evil and dangerous witches to ever live. So powerful they summoned monsters from the deepest depths of your nightmares. When they were to be executed the most powerful sister Winifred cast a spell that if a Virgin lit a black flame candle on Nightmare Night with a full moon in the sky, they would rise for one night to wreak havoc on the city that doomed them." Zarya said in a spooky tone.

Shivering Em and Doug hugged each other in fear.

"Oh come on guys that Saunderson sisters are one of the oldest stories in Drake City. It's not real." Arkayna said.

"Y-Yeah there's no such thing as ghosts." Doug said.

"Wow really? Then what are we?" Rosa asks as she and the spirits of the original Mysticons floated in.

"Take it easy guys. Nightmare Night may be a night of ghosts and terrors, but we don't want to traumatize people." Zhalia said.

"What's traumatizing about us?" Navi asks.

"Well we are actually dead." Dorin said.

"And everyone knows it." Imani agrees.

"Maybe it's best you guys just stick with me." Ryou said holding out the Willblade.

"Oh man I was really looking forward to being out and about." Rosa pouts.

"What would we even do? We can't eat food or play games…well unless one of you lets us possess you?" Navi asks but all of them took a big step back. "Yeah we didn't think so."

"So Em, you and Arkayna want to join us in the dress-up?" Piper asks.

"Do you promise not to scare me again?" Em asks.

"Sure you big baby." Zarya chuckles.

"Then I'm in." Em said.

"Well Arkayna, you're all that's left." Ryou said looking at her.

Pausing Arkayna felt the peer pressure.

"I was really looking forward to my shows." Arkayna said.

"We can record them for you. You can watch them when we get back." Malvaron offers.

"Oh alright I'll come." Arkayna said admitting defeat.

"Yaay! Come on let's get you two in costumes." Piper said pulling them away.

On the outskirts of the city, the Pink Skulls ship was docking and the whole crew was dressed up and ready to party.

Stepping out of her cabin, Kitty was dressed up as a Vampire and Kasey was a werewolf.

"Alright Pink Skulls remember if you're gonna egg or TP someone do it on the way back to the ship. We don't need to be looking over our heads for the whole night." Kitty said.

"Now go have some fun!" Kasey said as the crew left the ship.

"Wow you guys really love this night." Cherit said landing on Kitty's shoulder.

"Oh yeah the goodies we swipe her last us weeks. Plus it's the one day of the year where you don't get in trouble for messing with people." Kitty smiles.

"Plus I just found out our friends are going too." Kasey said holding up his glyph. "So Captain I was actually wondering…"

"You want to go hang out with Em tonight?" Kitty smirks knowing her brother.

"Please." Kasey said putting his hands together.

"Oh alright. Don't say I never did anything for you." Kitty said.

"Thanks sis." Kasey smiles going to have fun.

"And now I'm going to the party all by myself." Kitty said.

"Not entirely." Cherit gestures making her giggle.

"Come on Cherit." Kitty smiles making her way into the city.

On the docks across from them, someone else was eager to party.

As Jasmine hops off her speeder, she looks at the city and smiles.

"I love sneaking out to here. Thank goodness, Daddy is too scared to ever leave his room on this night." Jasmine said grabbing her costume and making her way into town.

On the streets of Drake City, a huge festival was set up down the block with tons of food, rides, games, and people having fun and scares.

"This is Medium Medusa here at the Drake City Nightmare Night Fright Festival and I'll tell you one thing this festival is anything but a nightmare. This Fright Fest is full of fun and games and even the stores are stocking their shelves with fun Nightmare Night souvenirs where if you buy a certain object you can enter for a chance to win the Nightmare Raffle." Medusa explains.

"Sounds s-s-scary but so fun." Her snake head said.

Walking down the street nearby, Gawayne was making his butler carry bags upon bags of special items.

"Come on Butler pick up the pace. I need more raffle tickets and to get more raffle tickets I need to buy more things." Gawayne said as the butler struggled to keep up.

"Uh perhaps I can pick the next store sir." He asks.

"Why? You don't have money to pay for anything." Gawayne said shooting him down and making him feel bad.

Nearby at the ring toss game, Zhalia was with Doug dressed like a giant spider and Piper who trying to ring the witches' cap but was not having much luck.

"Come on. Come on." Doug said throwing ring after ring but none were sticking. "Darn it."

Pausing Zhalia tossed a ring and it landed right on the hat.

"Winner!" The vendor said handing her a stuffed bat.

Looking at it Zhalia noticed Piper eyeing it with big eyes.

"Here. I'm not into stuffed animals." Zhalia said handing to her.

"Ooh thanks, Zhalia you're the best." Piper squeals.

"Man you guys make everything look easy." Doug groans.

"Doug I really think you just suck at games at this point." Zhalia said making him pout.

Suddenly Mattias skated in and grabbed some candy from the kids.

"Hey thanks for the sweets shorty." Mathis mocks when suddenly multiple eggs flew in and hit him multiple times making him swerve. "Aah what the?!"

"No treats for you Mathis." Zarya said pulling a rope and suddenly a garbage can dropped on him.

Walking over Zarya picks up the candy and gives it back. "Here kids."

"Thanks you." They smiled running off.

As Mathis pulls the trashcan off he was about to trick Zarya when a caramel apple dropped on him making him fall backwards.

"Hey Z-Star you're leaving me out of the pranks?" Kitty asks getting her attention.

"Kitty." Zarya smiles as the two friends high-five. "Should have known you would love the pranks too."

"One of the best parts of the night." Kitty snickers.

"Ugh why won't this come off?" Mathis asks trying to pull the caramel apple out of his hair.

"It's caramel. It doesn't come off. Not without a fight at least." Kitty said.

"Better be gentle Mathis that might be the only candy you get tonight." Zarya said as they walked away laughing.

"My you humans sure have unique holiday traditions." Cherit said.

"This is Cherit's first Nightmare Night so I want it to be one to remember." Kitty explains.

"Well maybe I can help with that." Zarya said.

"So where's Ryou and the rest of your friends?" Kitty asks.

"Ryou's off getting as many sweets as he can carry. This holiday really brings out his sweet tooth." Zarya said.

"Oh really?" Kitty said interested.

Narrowing her eyes, Zarya was still not used to so many girls eying her boyfriend. She may have agreed to share him but it was still something she had to get used to.

Down the street, we see Em dressed like a safari explorer nervously eyeing the haunted house nervously.

"Okay, I can do this. I can do this." Em said wishing she had Arkayna or the others with her.

"You know it's better to go in a group." Walking up to her Em sees Jasmine wearing a Pharoah costume with a small mask over her face. "Mind if I join you?"

"You sound familiar. Have we met?" Em asks before remembering. "Wait…Red Nile?"

"Surprised?" She smiles.

"Do you ever go anywhere without a mask on?" Em asks.

"I'm kinda waiting for something special to happen before I take it off." Jasmine admits.

"Ooh is it a boy?" Em asks.

"Hmm sorta." She blushes under the mask.

"Pardon me explorer, but would you like some company?" Turning around Em saw Kasey in his costume.

"Kasey?" Em blushes liking the werewolf look on him.

"If you want you can hold my hand." Kasey offers.

"My such a kind werewolf. Hope you don't plan on biting me." Em giggles.

"Don't tempt me." Kasey jokes.

"Looks like you're not alone anymore." Jasmine smiles.

At the snack booths, Ryou and Sophie were eyeing some tasty treats with Choko almost drooling.

"Oh baby." Ryou smiles taking a cupcake and eating it. "Mmm so good." Ryou moans.

Taking a bite Sophie smiles. "Mmm I see why you like these."

Looking at her both snickered seeing they had frosting stains on their lips.

"What's so funny?" Both said at the same time. "I asked first. Hey cut it out."

Slowly Ryou pointed to his lips but when he did he felt the frosting.

Pausing both realized what that meant. Grabbing a napkin Sophie wiped the frosting off her face before handing it to Ryou.

"These sweets are good but really messy if you eat them like I do." Ryou said embarrassed.

"I won't tell if you won't tell." Sophie said.

"You want to join me? I gotta grab as many snacks as possible to last me after this." Ryou asks.

"It's a date." Sophie giggles holding his hand.

Blushing softly, Ryou had to admit he kinda liked this.

"C-Come on. I know all the best stands." Ryou said as Choko cheered leading the way.

Nearby, Arkayna dressed as a Fallen Angel was sipping some punch when Malvaron came walking over.

"Ooh man this is fun." Malvaron smiles grabbing a drink.

"Yeah fun." Arkayna said.

"We needed this after all the drama we've been dealing with." Malvaron said but Arkayna had a quiet look on her face."Hey come on what's on your mind?" Malvaron asks.

"It's just…I can't stop thinking about what Imani said." Arkayna said. "I mean she thought Ryou was a better leader than me?"

"Look Imani has her reasons. She's just trying to teach you a lesson and remember it's temporary meaning you can earn it back." Malvaron points out.

"Yeah but it still sucks." Arkayna said.

"That's kinda the whole point of a punishment." Malvaron shrugs making her roll her eyes.

"Alright Nova Terron then what do you think I should do?" Arkayna asks.

"One must trust in the ability of others or else we might bring forth the apocalypse." Malvaron said mimicking Nova Terron making Arkayna giggle. "But seriously just trust Ryou to hold things together until you get your title back. Think of it like he's just keeping your seat warm."

"Hmm I don't know if it's the costume but you're making a lot of sense today Malvaron." Arkayna said.

"See what happens when you listen. Now come on this Star Master wants to bob for apples." Malvaron chuckles grabbing her hand.

As Gawayne was walking into a shop he looks around to see tons of weird voodoo and witchcraft-themed objects.

"Oh this dump is Nightmare Night central." Gawayne said walking to the desk and ringing the bell multiple times. "Hello! Hello! King here to buy stuff."

"I'm right here sir." Walking we see an eldery man approach the counter.

"Yeah cool whatever. Look I need tons of spooky-themed trinkets to win the raffle and your stupid shop is loaded with it so what do you got?" Gawayne asks.

"Have a look around. Everything is for sale." The man gestures.

Looking around Gawayne noticed a candle made of black wax hanging above him.

"Ha. That spooky candle might work." Gawayne points.

"Oh you don't want that one. That candle is said to be cursed." The shop owner said.

"Ha! Cursed. What a load of garbage. Listen I am winning that raffle and I need that candle to do it." Gawayne said dropping a gold brick in front of him.

"Would you like that gift wrapped?" The vendor asks handing him the black candle.

Leaving the store, Gawayne looked at his haul and grins.

"If this junk doesn't win me the raffle nothing will." Gawayne chuckles.

While the butler struggled with the new bags he slipped on a treat causing a bottle to smash into the lights causing the area around them to turn black.

"Hey who turned off the lights?" Gawayne asks looking around. "How am I supposed to see where I'm going now?" Gawayne asks when the black candle rolls against his foot. "Hmm a bit old-fashioned but could be interesting. Hextag Kicking it old school." Gawayne chuckles.

While his butler tried to get up, Gawayne just picks up the candle ignoring him.

"Butler give me a light now." Gawayne orders.

As the butler fumbled around Gawayne saw a lighter nearby.

"Ugh do I have to do everything myself?" Turning on the lighter the clouds began to part revealing a full moon just as Gawayne lit the candle causing it to go off like a sparkler.

Yelping Gawayne drops the candle in a puddle making it go out.

"Cursed? Try defective. That guy ripped me off. I'm gonna sue him." Gawayne said annoyed.

As the butler picked up the bags, he noticed a small black flame atop the candle that didn't burn out.

Suddenly the ground under the candle began to shake violently as tons of magic was released shooting up into the air and the ground shook violently.

All over the festival the people felt that and struggled to keep it together.

At the Mysticon Base, Ryou's willblade began to glow reacting to the magic causing 4 balls of light to shoot out.

Crashing to the ground Imani, Rosa, Navi and Dorin groan in pain.

"Ugh what was that?" Rosa groans picking herself up but when she touched her head she paused. "What the?" Looking at herself Rosa gasps.

Lifting her head up she saw all her old teammates were in bodies. Not spirit bodies. Real ones!

"Guys…our bodies." Rosa said getting their attention.

"What?" Looking at herself Imani ran to a mirror. "W-We're alive again."

"How is this possible? We were spirits an hour ago." Navi said confused.

"I don't know, but I might know someone who does." Dorin hints.

As they made their way out, the 4 original Mysticons look at the evolved Drake City with baffled and confused looks.

"Huh? You know it was a lot easier when Ryou took us everywhere." Rosa admits.

"Come on, they said they were at some festival. We find that we find them." Imani said as they ran off into the city for the first time in over a thousand years.

As the power in the city slowly turned back on Gawayne picked himself up.

"Oh great first a power outage than an Earthquake? What the heck is going on?" Gawayne asks when he heard some cackling. "Who's there?"

Small flashes of light and 5 elderly women in witch robes appeared. One had long blonde hair and red robes. This was Sarah Sanderson.

One had black hair that tied and hanging off her head like a witches' hat with red and black robes. This was Mary Sanderson.

One had messy brown hair, a wart on her face and blue and brown robes. This was Mona Sanderson.

One had short curly black hair and gray robes. This was Chloe Sanderson.

And finally, we see a woman with messy red hair, an overbite and green robes. This was Winifred Sanderson.

"Lock up your children Drake City, we're back!" Winifred declares as all 5 sisters cackled.

"Ew who are the ugly old bags?" Gawayne cringed.

"Okay I've seen enough. Butler, I'm bored let's go home." Gawayne said as they walked away. "Who the heck are they performing for?" Gawayne asks.

"You." Sarah said appearing in front of him startling the King.

"Ooh what have we here, Sisters? A nice fat little teenager?" Mary asks.

"Fat? I'm big-boned lady." Gawayne glares.

"Yeah and I have perfect teeth." Winifred mocks walking over. "Good work sisters. This juicy little porker should be more than enough for our life Potion."

"Ooh a deluxe meal. Mona have a look?" Chloe suggests.

Approaching Gawayne, Mona runs a finger along his cheek and then licks it, but seconds later she spits it up.

"Ugh oh sweet merciful goblin! This child is revolting!" Mona spitting multiple times trying to get the taste out of her mouth.

Cringing the other 4 witches stepped back like he was the plague.

"Revolting? Uh sister I'm prime here." Gawayne said.

"Shut up." Holding up her hand Winifred used her dark magic and suddenly Gawayne's mouth was stitched shut making him unable to speak.

Walking over to the butler, Mona grabs him by the hair. "Now where can we find some delicious children. Tell us now or my sister will turn you into a cat."

"She's not bluffing." Winifred grins.

Shuddering the butler slowly pointed downtown towards the festival.

"Ooh a celebration." Winfred said.

"I smell lots of children down that way." Mary grins.

"You've made yourself useful." Binding Gawayne and his butler, Chloe uses her magic and tosses them into the dumpster done with them.

"Well then sisters. We should prepare ourselves for the party. After all, what good is a party without a few surprises?" Reaching into her robes, Winifred pulls out 3 amulets.

Cackling her other four sisters each pulled out 2 amulets and 11 dark and scary shadows emerged from them.

Back at the festival, we see Ryou and Sophie sitting at a bench eating some cookies.

"Ugh I feel like I should stop before I get a cavity from all this." Sophie said.

"Oh come on Sophie you can treat yourself once in a while. I'm not gonna tease you over it." Ryou said eating his.

"You know I never pegged you for someone with a sweet tooth. You really enjoy this holiday huh?" Sophie said.

"Yeah when I first lost my memories I didn't know much, but then Zarya and Piper took me to this festival 2 years ago and I guess when I saw all this I got a warm feeling inside. I had one of these sweets and I loved it. Then the next year I went after the sweets only this time Choko came with me." Ryou gestures.

Popping his head out of his bag of sweets Choko smiles.

"Well, then I guess I'm honored you let me join you on something so meaningful to you." Sophie smiles.

"I'm happy for the company." Ryou smiles.

Smiling Sophie slowly scoots closer to him and puts her hand on his.

'Dude you know she has a crush on you. Right?' Demon Ryou thought.

Pausing a blush appeared on his face.

'I mean come on. You really expect me to believe you haven't thought about making out with that?' Demon Ryou thought.

'Stay out of this.' Ryou thought.

'Come on. Don't be a wimp. Grab that girl like you grabbed those chocolates.' Demon Ryou teases making him blush.

"Shut up!" Ryou said startling Sophie and Choko.

"What? What did I say?" Sophie asks confused.

"Sorry uh…" Ryou said trying to come up with an excuse.

"Ryou!" Looking ahead they saw Dorin running towards them. "Thank goodness we finally found you."

"Dorin. Your body?" Ryou said speechless.

"Did you do this?" Sophie asks.

"No. I didn't even bring my sword." Ryou said confused.

"It's not just me." Dorin said.

"What?" Both said unsure where this was going.

Gesturing down the road they saw Rosa eating some sweets and Navi posing for a picture.

"Mmm it's so good having my appetite back." Rosa said.

"I love your Mysticon Costume." A little girl said.

"Yeah…costume." Navi chuckles as they took a picture. "It's fun being social again."

"Come on you two." Imani said grabbing them when a little boy holding a camera. "Oh alright."

Smiling the kid took a picture with her before leaving.

"What is happening?" Sophie asks.

"That's what we need to find out. Call your friends right now." Dorin orders.

Not needing to be told twice, both teens took out their phones and dialed everyone up.

Running through the undercity, Red Nile, Em, Kasey, Piper, Zhalia and Doug ran down one path before meeting up with Kitty, Zarya, Arkayna, Malvaron and Cherit.

"You guys get Ryou's message?" Zarya asks.

"Yeah, and he says be on the lookout for dangerous magic." Zhalia said.

"Well, that narrows it down. It could be anything: Tazma, The Trix, Necrafa." Arkayna lists when Cherit shivers.

"Something's not right." Cherit said.

"What do you mean?" Kitty asks.

"I feel it. It's nearby." Cherit said looking around.

"Wow those are some creepy old ladies." Doug said spotting the Sanderson sisters.

"Whoa cool costumes." Piper said.

"Cool Sanderson Sisters costumes." Zarya said impressed.

"They really went all out." Kitty whistles

Walking past a booth, they saw two men in the bobbing-for-apples booth.

"Ooh sisters look they're drowning those two." Sarah points.

"How barbaric." Chloe giggles.

Lifting their heads up they see one had an apple meaning he was the other.

"Ooh he has an apple in his mouth. Perhaps he's going to be roasted." Mona said.

"How festive. I love it." Mary said.

"Ooh I like that." Winifred said spotting a little boy eating a candy apple. "I'll take that."

Swiping it out of the child's hand Winifred took a big bite making the child cry.

"Ooh I want some." Looking around Sarah took a bag of chocolates from a little girl.

"Hey ladies." Turning around they saw Zarya approaching them. "No one messes with the Undercity kids. Now give them back their candy." Zarya glares.

"Aww but it's so good." Sarah whines.

"Give it back now." Zarya orders.

"Oh alright." Mary was about to hand over the bags when Winifred slaps her.

"You fool. We don't take orders from children." Winifred scolds.

"It's our now. So deal with it child." Mona said.

"And what if I don't want to?" Zarya glares.

"Then this." Chole held out her hand and suddenly a powerful force blasted Zarya into the air and crashing into the ground.

Seeing this they all growled.

"Alright girls magic hour." Arkayna said.

"But Ryou told us to meet up with him." Em said.

"They're right there. We can't let them get away with this." Arkayna gestures.

Seeing she was right, all of them ran out of view before a bright light engulfs them.

Leaping out, Arkayna, Zarya, Piper and Em were in their Mysticon outfits while Red Nile grabbed a metal pipe to use as her staff, Kasey drew his cutlass and Kitty readied her whip.

"Hold it right there ladies." Malvaron said making magic appear in his arms. "By order of the Astromancers, I order you to stand down."

"Uh yeah what he said." Doug said.

"Oh that is so cute. An old man and a cyclops think they can stop us." Sarah giggles.

"What?" Reaching up Malvaron pulls the bald cap off his head.

"Oh child. That is not going to happen." Mary giggles waving her hand and suddenly multiple crates flew out.

Ducking out of the way, the crates smashed into Doug.

"Ow! That hurt!" Doug whines.

Flicking her whip, Kitty grabs a crate and yanks it back at the witches but Chloe held out her hands and flames shot out destroying the crate.

Leaping through the smoke, Red Nile and Kasey swing their weapons but Mona moves in and made a barrier deflecting them.

"Freeze witches!" Turning around they saw the Mysticons behind them.

"Please don't make us hurt you." Em said.

"Ooh what do we have here?" Mona appears next to Em startling her.

Running a finger along her cheek, she tastes her.

"Ooh these ones have lots of magic." Mona grins liking the taste.

Shuddering Em was beyond creeped out. "I know my dad always told me to respect my elders, but that is creepy."

"I take that as compliment." Mona said.

Throwing her hoops, they bounced around the street before hitting Mona in retaliation.

"Well how do you take a pixie blast?" Piper asks blasting her with pixie dust.

Using his magic, Malvaron takes down their barrier allowing them to charge in.

"Show them your fury, Dark Dryad!" Chloe said taking out an amulet and summoning a green-skinned titan with leaves for hair.

Slamming its fist into the ground Dark Dryad sent many vines flying at them.

Jumping around they scrambled to dodge.

"Ooh look at them run sisters. How I missed the running." Mary giggles.

"If they only would they scream." Sarah smiles.

"Patience sisters. Good things come to those who wait." Winifred giggles.

"I don't believe, they're enjoying our misery?" Doug groans.

"Yeah that's evil for you." Red Nile said.

Swinging her scepter, Arkayna fired multiple blasts at Winifred who blocks it.

Drawing her bow, Zarya fires hitting her from the side making Winifred cringe in pain and making her sisters gasp.

"You struck me?" Winifred growls.

"That's right and there's plenty more where that came from." Zarya threatens.

"Garrion!" Zhalia yells as Garrion appears behind Chloe and blasts her from behind making her cringe.

"Stop them! Metagolem!" Em took out her amulet and called on her giant stone titan.

Swinging his foot, Metagolem stomped down knocking Sarah back.

Flinging her whip, Kitty wraps it around Mary's foot.

"Pull!" Kitty yells as she, Kasey and Doug yanked with all their might making her fall back.

Leaping at Mona, Piper throws her hoops bouncing all around distracting her and allowing Red Nile and Malvaron to blast her knocking all 4 sisters back.

As Winifred slowly got up she looks at her injured sisters and growled.

"How dare you attack my sisters." Winifred glares.

"Oh we're gonna be doing a lot more if you don't stop this now." Arkayna said.

"Yeah what she said." Zarya said.

Slowly the other 4 rose, but like Winifred they all had furious looks on their face.

"Oh no you won't. Show them your anger Midnight Rook!" Mary said summoning a dark raven like titan.

"Show no mercy, Dullahan! Silver Hunter!" Mona said summoning a headless warrior with a giant shield with a face on it and a large silver wolf titan.

"Doberman join my side." Chloe said as a titan with golden armor and the head of a black dog appeared at Dark Dryad's side.

"Attack Red Vampress, Anteduluvian!" Sarah said taking out an amulet and two vampire titans appeared in red appeared.

"Something tells me these ladies aren't normal." Doug said.

"Ya think?" Red Nile asks in an obvious tone.

Growling Silver Hunter leaped at them forcing Red Nile to roll out of the way as the giant wolf tried to maul her.

Using the pipe, she pushes back trying to keep it off her.

"Hyperstride!" With glowing feet Red Nile kicks the wolf off her allowing her to move.

But before she could react, Mona used her magic to grab her legs.

"Sorry sweetie. No running today." Mona giggles swinging her arm sending Red Nile flying into the air before Dark Dryad grabbed her with a vine and slammed her down to the ground.

"Red Nile!" Em gasped as she groaned in pain.

Narrowing her eyes, Zhalia had Garrion do a sneak attack but just as it reappeared Midnight Rook swooped in and grabbed it in his claws.

"You're a sneaky one little lady, but so are we." Mary giggles as Midnight Rook dug its claws into Garrion making it retreat back into its amulet.

Before Zhalia could react Andeluvian swooped in and slashed at Zarya ripping her sleeve and making her cringe in pain and drop to her knees.

Firing multiple magical attacks, Malvaron and Arkayna tried to keep Doberman at bay when Dullahan used his shield to block them.

Charging in, Dullahan's spike ball and chain mace erupted in flames.

"Oh no you don't!" Em used her shield to deflect the attack making the titan stagger back.

"Gotcha." Sarah said appearing next to her.

Yelping Em turned around only for Sarah to slap both her hands on the sides of Em's face messing up her vision.

Before she could recover, Sarah blasts Em sending her flying back into Akrayna and Malvaron.

As Midnight Rook flew in to strike Kitty, Cherit gasps.

"Kitty!" Cherit took Midnight Rook's attack, flying between them, knocking the little titan to the ground.

"Cherit!" Kitty gasps only to be punched in the face by someone.

Looking up she saw Zarya looking at her with an evil smile.

"Z Star? What the heck?" Kitty asks.

"I'm seeing double." Doug said.

However, the second Zarya changed revealing it to be a titan with a carnival mask for a face and a long purple cape for a bottle.

"Fooled you!" Winifred laughs revealing she had an amulet out. "Meet Shifter, a real sneaky one."

Flying in Shifter knocks Zarya and Doug back.

"Ooh there's the screams." Sarah smiles.

"Ooh I want a turn." Winifred said.

"All yours Winifred." Sarah giggles.

"It's been a while since I used my titans. Show them your magical might, Sorcerel!" Winifred declares and to their shock a titan that bared a strong resemblance to Sophie's Sabriel appeared.

"No way." Zhalia gasps.

"It looks like Sophie's Titan." Arkayna said shocked.

"Sabriel has a sister!" Piper gasps.

Raising her hand, Sorcerel and Winifred blasted Metagolem into rubble creating a powerful shockwave and knocking Kitty, Zarya and Kasey back.

Groaning all of them saw the witches were cackling having a blast at their expense.

"I think it's time these bad children took their nap. Arise Elegast." Mary giggles as a small gnome-like titan appeared with multiple brown sacks around its waist.

Throwing a sack, it smashed to the ground causing purple sand to fly out getting in everyone's face.

"What is this stuff?" Red Nile asks.

"I don't know…but does anyone else feel sleepy?" Piper yawns.

Falling under Elegast's spell the teens fell to the ground asleep.

"Powerful magical children. We definitely hit the jackpot here sisters." Mona said.

"Ooh are we going to make them into the potion?" Sarah asks.

"Hmm it seems like such a waste. We can use any child for that potion. Why should we throw away the dangerous ones?" Chloe asks.

"Ooh sisters. I smell two potions brewing." Winifred said.

As they were about to grab them Gar-Ghoul and Icarus flew in.

Roaring Gar-Ghoul breathed boiling water stopping the witches from capturing their friends.

"What?!" Looking up they saw Ryou in his Mysticon Tactician form and Sophie in her spy outfit alongside the original Mysticons.

"Sorry but we gotta cut this party short! Boltflare!" Throwing a ball of flames to the ground Sophie blinded the witches.

When the light died down they escaped with all their friends.

"Curses! They got away!" Winifred growls. Turning towards Sarah, Winifred slaps her across the face. "How could you let them escape?!"

"I'm sorry Winnie. I didn't know they had backup." Sarah apologizes.

"And I was so looking forward to stealing their magic." Mona frowns.

"Mary where did they go?" Winifred asks as Mary sniffs around.

"I don't know." Mary said.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Winifred asks smacking her sisters in the head.

"There are children everywhere. I can't narrow it down." Mary pouts.

"Well then where are most of them?" Chloe asks.

"That way." Mary points to the main square.

"Well cauldron half full. At least we can brew the Life potion." Winifred sighs.

"Don't worry sister. Once we brew that one we'll have all the time in the world to make the other one." Sarah points out.

Up on the rooftops, everyone slowly began to wake up.

"We got a little held up. You would not believe what just happened." Zhalia said.

"Actually I think we can." Ryou gestures.

Turning around all of them drop their jaws to see Imani, Rosa, Navi and Dorin sitting nearby.

"What the heck?" Kasey gasps.

"The original Mysticons." Malvaron said in awe.

"Oh my goblin. Can I get a picture with you all?" Doug asks.

"A lot of people have been asking us for those." Navi said.

"Can you really blame them?" Red Nile asks.

"How is this possible? I thought Ryou was only able to summon one of you at a time." Em asks.

"Because it wasn't me who summoned them. Those 5 witches released a large amount of magic into the city and as a result, we were temporarily able to get our bodies back." Imani said.

"Which I have to say they've held up pretty well despite us being dead for so long." Rosa said spinning around so they could look at her.

"Who the heck were those ladies?" Kitty asks.

"They definitely weren't allies with my mom." Ryou said.

"That's not even the weird part. They had the same name as the real Sanderson Sisters." Zarya said.

"But they can't be the real ones? Can they?" Doug asks.

Suddenly their train of thought was stopped by muffled screams.

Looking down they saw Gawayne with a sealed mouth struggling to break free of the bindings while the black flame candle burned nearby.

"What the heck happened to him?" Zhalia asks.

"Wait what's with that candle?" Sophie asks pointing to it.

"Wait a second. Candle, virgin, moon." Zarya lists as a look of panic appear on all their faces.

Listen Arkayna I know you're angry and I don't blame you but this is just proving how right Imani was about you! You don't want to listen! I have been trying to be nice to you all night but now I'm telling you what's happening! Imani made me the leader until you could prove yourself worthy again now you can either spend the rest of your life whining like a big baby or you can start working hard to prove yourself worthy of it again, but until you do, I'm the leader of this team which means when I tell you to do something you do it! You got that?!" Ryou snaps.

"Okay." Arkayna gulps.

"And you!" Ryou snaps turning to the original Mysticons. "I get that you guys want us to try and do things the way you do but we're not like you! If we're not all together and we see the trouble I don't expect everyone to wait around for me to give them the okay! I appreciate you guys wanting to help us but we have our own way of doing things! And since you made me in charge, I'm the one who says what goes! So either get on board or go back to being dead!"

"Yeah you got it." Navi said as Rosa hid behind him.

"Well…this was unexpected." Imani said a little shaken.

"That was the scariest thing I've seen all night." Em whispers.

"At least 8 hours." Sophie said.

"Yes!" The kids said bursting into cheers.

"Now before we kick off the fireworks we have time for one more song. Any of you feel like putting on a show?" Medusa asks.

"We do!" Looking to the audience they saw Winifred and her sisters walking to the stage.

"Oh wow great costumes." Medusa said.

"Yeah they're real s-s-spooky." A snake hisses.

"What's your group called?" Medusa asks.

"The Sanderson Sisters." Winifred said as the crowd went wild.

"Ooh love the name and love the costumes. Well, let's give these ladies a beat." Medusa said as Winifred took her mic.

"And while we have them distracted another group will get the kids away." Ryou adds.

"Doug that'll be up to you, Choko and Cherit." Malvaron said.

"You count on us." Doug said.

"We're on it." Cherit nods while Choko salutes them.

"But what if they use some dark spooky witchy magic to trip us up like last time?" Piper asks.

"Last time they only dealt with one set of Mysticons. This time they have 2. Double, double Mysticon trouble." Rosa smirks.

"Ooh I like what you did there." Piper giggles.

"So do you have a plan on how to beat them?" Sophie asks.

"I do, but whether we win or lose will depend…on Arkayna." Ryou declares surprising everyone.

"Me?" Arkayna said in disbelief.

"Arkayna I have a strategy that if it works we'll win, but you have to do exactly what I say and not until I give you the signal." Ryou said turning to her. "Can I trust you to listen?"

Seeing how serious he was Arkayna knew she had to do this right or all the children of Drake City were witch food.

"I understand." Arkayna nods.

"Okay then. Everyone huddle up." Ryou said.

At the stage, we see the Sanderson Sisters brewing a large cauldron with all the kids lined up.

"Ooh I am having best night sisters." Mary giggles.

"I know. We're only an hour away from immortality." Sarah smiles.

"We'll beat that sun by a mile." Chloe chuckles.

"Don't go bragging until we drink that potion." Winifred said pushing their heads down so they were paying attention to the cauldron.

"Boltflare!" Ryou said firing his spell.

"Augerfrost!" Zhalia said firing her spell.

"Raypulse!" Red Nile said firing her spell.

"Kindlestrike!" Sophie said firing her spell.

Combing the 4 spells smash into the cauldron causing it to explode in a cloud of smoke.

"No! Our Potion!" Chloe gasps.

"Sisters where are you? I can't see you." Mary said looking around.

Suddenly a set of hoops and an arrow wrapped around Mary's arm and she was yanked away from the others.

"Mary?" Susan said confused when a whip wrapped around her feet and yanked her away.

"Sisters we're under attack!" Mona said when a large mechanical hand grabbed her and yanked her away.

"Winifred look ou—" Before Chloe could finish a magical force grabbed her and yanked her away.

"Sisters!" Using her magic Winifred parts the smoke revealing Ryou, Sophie and Zarya.

"Bladecall!" Summoning the Willblade into his hands, Ryou attacks Winifred forcing her to block.

Firing arrows and spells Zarya and Sophie blasted Winifred.

As she recovered, she noticed Doug, Cherit and Choko getting the kids.

"Come on kids up and at'em!" Doug said leading them.

"This way hurry!" Cherit said.

Chattering Choko pushed one kid's leg getting him moving.

"Stop them!" In the group of kids we see one of the kids transform into Shifter and lunging at them.

"Look out!" Sophie yells.

Seeing this Cherit fires a beam attack knocking Shifter away.

Quickly running in, Ryou stabs Shifter turning it back into an amulet.

"Whoa you okay little buddy?" Doug asks picking Cherit up.

"I'm not the fighter I used to be." Cherit said.

"Doug get them out of here! We got this!" Zarya said.

Nodding Doug put Cherit on his shoulder and ran.

"You Mysticons and Seekers are becoming a real pain." Winifred said.

"You got the jump on us once, but not this time." Zarya said.

"Now you're the ones in for a fright." Sophie said.

"Oh we'll see. Arise, Headless Hessian! Sorcierel!" Appearing at Winifred's side was Sabriel's witch sister and a warrior titan in golden armor atop a horse holding a sword in one hand and a pumpkin head in the other hand.

"I don't believe it." Sophie gasps.

"Sophie snap out of it." Ryou said.

"Tear them apart. Fenris!" Zarya said summoning her werewolf titan.

"Bring it on, Baselaird! Gar Ghoul!" Ryou said summoning his gargoyle monster and golden warrior.

"Defend Sabriel!" Sophie said summoning her warrior titan.

"Well isn't this a surprise." Winifred said as Sabriel and Sorcerel faced off. "You can see the resemblance. The only question is which sister is superior, the witch?"

"Or the warrior?" Sophie said.

"Let's find out shall we." Winifred cackles as magic surrounded her arms and attacked them forcing them to dodge.

As they faced off against Winifred the other Sanderson Sisters were in some wild fights as well.

Near a fountain, we see Mary facing off against Piper, Kasey and Navi.

Drawing his cutlass, Kasey went on the attack forcing Mary to jump and deflect.

Throwing her hoops into the air they bounced around before breaking Mary's barrier allowing Navi to fire an arrow knocking her back.

"Midnight Rook! Take to the sky!" As the raven titan appeared it cawed diving down at them.

Swinging their weapons the three of them struggle to fight off Midnight Rook but the titan was too fast for them.

Seeing her chance, Mary took out her other amulet.

"Put them to sleep Elegast!" Mary said summoning her little imp titan.

Using the sand attack it threw one at Kasey, but before he could fall under the spell he dunked his head in the fountain and the cold water instantly woke him up.

"Whoo. Not gonna work this time." Kasey said surprising her.

"What?" Mary gasps.

"Turns out water is your titan's weakness. Meaning we can do this. Ariel Showtime!" Taking out an amulet and summoning her wind elf titan.

As Elegast hurls another sack of sand, Ariel made a gust of wind sending the sack back at Elegast making it fall under its own spell.

Drawing his bow, Navi fires piercing the little titan making it go back into his amulet.

"No way!" Mary gasps.

"Way!" Swinging in Kasey delivers a double kick to Mary's chest.

Down the street we see Sarah facing off against Zhalia, Kitty and Dorin.

Cackling Sarah summoned Red Vampress and Antedeulivan.

"Man I wish I had Cherit with me right now." Kitty growls.

"We can't risk sneaking around and doing small attacks. So I'm going head on. Fight for your lady, Kilthane!" Zhalia said summoning her warrior titan.

"Ooh fun." Sarah said doing a cartwheel in while her vampires went on the attack.

Claws gleaming Red Vampress slashes at Kitty but at the last second Dorin raises his shield deflecting it.

"You may not have your titans but you have your own strengths and abilities. Use them." Dorin reminds.

Landing in front of Zhalia, Sarah flicks her hand sending lightning bolts flying at her.

"Honorguard." Making a barrier Zhalia blocks the attack.

Flicking her whip, Kitty grabs Sarah's other hand distracting her.

Using this opening Zhalia kicks Sarah in the face.

As Antedulivian flew in it clashed weapons with Kilthane forcing the two titans to lock weapons trying to overpower the other.

A few blocks away, we see Arkayna, Malvaron and Rosa facing Chloe.

As Dark Dryhad created tons of vines, Arkayna and Rosa jumped around to avoid them while Malvaron was dodging Doberman's strike.

"Nice doggie. Nice doggie." Malavaron said using his magic to blast the titan back.

"I got your back Astromancer." Swinging her hoops, Rosa blocks Doberman's strikes before looping them around its leg.

"Watch your step!" Rosa said yanking Doberman off its feet and to the ground.

"To my side, Forest Queen Diana!" Summoning the centaur warrior titan, she drew her weapons.

Firing multiple arrows they flew through the vines hitting Chloe and Dark Dryad.

"Why you little—" Before Chloe could curse Arkayna blasts her in the face knocking her to the ground.

"You witches talk too much." Arkayna smirks.

---

And finally, we see Em, Red Nile and Imani clashing with Mona who had Silver Hunter and Dullahan at her side.

"Time to race, Riderless Chariot!" Taking out an amulet, Red Nile summons a blue chariot pulled by two blazing yellow horses.

Climbing onto it, Red Nile took the reins as Em and Imani climbed next to her.

Racing down the streets, Mona hopped on her broom while Silver Hunter and raced after them.

"Why the rush? Can't we have some fun?" Mona cackles as both titans raced alongside them.

"Time for battle, Albion!" Em said calling out her warrior titan.

Moving in Silver Hunter rammed against the chariot making them rattle until Dullahan rams in from the other side.

Turning to the side, Albion drew his sword and swings swatting away Dullahan's weapon.

Firing magic from her staff Imani hurls them at Mona forcing her to fall back.

Grabbing her metal staff, Red Nile leaps off the chariot and slams her staff down on Silver Hunter's head.

"Mysticon Knight. Use that metal contraption of yours." Imani said.

"Metal contrap—Oh. Yeah good idea. Time to armor up." Summoning her armor, Em and Albion leap off the chariot and ram into Dullahan.

Grabbing the reins, Imani took control leaving her in a high-speed race against Mona.

Ramming into each other again and again sparks of magic flew everywhere.

Growling Mona flew in but this time Imani swings her scepter knocking her into the air.

---

Back at the stage, Sabriel and Gar Ghoul flew at Sorcerel.

Using her magic, Sorcerel blasts Sabriel until Gar Ghoul breathed water forcing Sorcerel to make a barrier.

As it pushed back the attack Sabriel moved in the second the barrier went down and slashes at Sorceriel.

Turning to her, the two sister titans locked grips neither wanting to let the other gain the upper hand.

Across from them, Baselaird and Fenris stood their ground as Headless Hessian charged in at full speed.

Swinging his sword Headless Hessian knocks Baseliard back, but when it comes in for a second Baseliard raised his shield blocking the attack and forcing the Headless Titan to push back.

Leaping off Baselaird, Fenris attacked Headless Hessian, and as the two monsters fought they refused to give the other an edge.

Throwing his pumpkin head, Headless Hessian knocked Wolf Knight off him.

On the stage, Winifred gripped her broom in one hand and spun it like a staff.

"Any chance I can play you kiddies a song?" Winifred snickers.

"Sorry but you don't hold a candle to my singer." Sophie said.

Hurling bolts of dark magic at them, Ryou blocks with the Willblade.

Racing past him, Zarya fired multiple arrows while Sophie unleashed her spells.

Creating her barrier, Winifred pushes forward sending both girls tumbling back.

Charging in Ryou swings his sword forcing Winifred to block with her broom.

"I sense darkness in you. A lot of it." Winifred growls.

"Just scratching the surface." Ryou pushes back swinging upwards breaking the broom in half. "Dragonfist!" Swinging a glowing fist Ryou nails Winifred in the gut.

Skidding back, Winifred hurls a gust of wind forcing him to stab his sword into the stage so he wouldn't be blown away.

As darkness surrounded his right arm, Ryou punches the floor causing it to travel across the stage and nail Winifred stopping her spell.

Firing an arrow it wraps around the stage lights allowing Zarya to swing in and whack Winifred with her bow.

"You alright?" Zarya asks helping him up.

"Thanks." Ryou smiles.

"You owe me for that one." Zarya said as Ryou pecks her on the cheek.

"Now we're even." Ryou smirks.

As Sorcerel concentrates her magic she unleashes a barrage hitting Sabriel multiple times.

Slowly getting up Sophie sees Sabriel struggle to stand.

"Sabriel. Don't back down. You can beat her." Sophie said.

Responding to Sophie's will, Sabriel slowly walks through the barrage of attacks.

Giving Sabriel support Gar Ghoul breathed water at Sorcerel forcing her to dodge.

Using this opening Sabriel charged in and slashes Sorcerel sending her back into the amulet.

"No!" Winifred gasps. "How did you?!"

"Sorry Winifred you may know dark magic but I know titans much better." Sophie smirks.

Swinging his sword, Baselaird slashes the horse causing it to neigh allowing Wolf Knight to bite into Headless Hessian causing it to go back into the amulet.

All over the Mysticons and Seekers were gaining the upper hand on the witches.

"Blow that bird away!" Piper yells as Ariel made a powerful gust of wind which for a small bird like Midnight Rook made it difficult.

Drawing his bow, Navi fires piercing the small bird and forcing it to return.

"No!" Mary gasps when Kasey took out a rope and threw it tying her up making her unable to counter.

"Gotcha." Kasey growls.

As Red Nile rode Silver Hunter like a wild horse, she took out her amulet.

"Strom Knight put an end to this!" Red Nile yells.

Appearing in front of Silver Hunter, a knight made of wind appeared.

Charging in it stabs Silver Hunter just as Red Nile jumps up forcing the titan to return.

"What? No." Mona gasps.

Swinging his mace, Dullahan attacks Em and Albion.

"We gotta block this." Em said standing behind Albion who raised his shield.

Smashing against the shield both Em and her titan cringed, but just as it was about to pull back Em grabbed the chain.

"Oh no you don't!" Em said.

As both she and her titan yanked Dullahan in they delivered a double lariat destroying its armor and sending it back into the amulet.

"No!" Mona yells.

Seeing her chance, Imani leaps off the chariot and smashes her scepter down on her.

With Kitty, she flicks her whip tying up Red Vampress' leg and pulls sending it flying towards Kilthan who impaled it with his sword sending it back into the amulet.

Using this chance, Antedeluvian stabbed Kilthane getting revenge.

"Shadowknife!" Hurling purple energy blades, Zhalia attacks Antedeluvian getting its attention.

Drawing his sword, Dorin charges in as he clashed with the vampire titan.

Hissing Antedeluvian swings his claws at Dorin, but he grabs it with his bare hands.

"I do not fall easily." Dorin glares before stabbing Antedeluvian with his sword sending it back into the titan.

"Whoa. Remind me not to get on your bad side." Zhalia smirks.

"Why you little!" Sarah was about to counter when Dorin made his shield and whacked her in the face with it.

"Ooh that had to hurt." Zhalia and Kitty cringe.

Finally, Rosa and Arkayna slid along the vines charging at Dark Dryhad.

Summoning a giant thron plant, Dark Dryhad attacks, but at the last second Forest Queen Diana charges in and slashes the plant in half.

"Alleyoop!" Kicking her hoops they bounced across the vines and hit Dark Dryhad right in the head making it crash into the floor and go back into the amulet.

Growling Chloe was about to attack when Malvaron hit her with a stun spell.

"Sorry but I don't like dirty tricks." Malvaron smirks.

Seeing this Arkayna smiles before noticing Doberman charging at him.

"Malvaron look out!" Rushing in, Arkayna blocks Doberman's attack. Swinging her staff upward she knocks its weapon away. "Dragonfist!" Nailing Doberman in the chest it gasped for air before going back into its amulet.

Back at the stage, Winifred struggled to stand.

"Let's finish this." Ryou said.

"You read my mind." Zarya said as they readied their bracers. Little did they know so did the others.

"Hear me roar!" Ryou roars.

"Time to howl!" Zarya howls as the red lion and blue wolf rammed into Winfred.

Tumbling off the stage, Winifred groans in pain not realizing her sisters were losing as well.

"Unleash the Dragon!" Arkayna yells.

"Here comes the soaring Phoenix!" Rosa yells as a green dragon and teal phoenix flew in and rammed into Chloe.

"Crush them Unicorn!" Dorin yells as a violet Unicorn rams into Sarah.

"Fly Phoenix Fly!" Piper yells.

"Time to hunt!" Navi yells as an orange phoenix and an indigo wolf rammed into Mary.

"Battle Unicorn Charge!" Em yells.

"Unleash the Dragon!" Imani said as a yellow dragon and a purple unicorn rammed into Mona.

As Winifred lifts her head up, she sees her 4 crashing down nearby. All of them were as worn out as her with no titans left to aid them.

"It's over Winifred. You can't beat us on your own. Without your sisters you're weak." Ryou said.

Grabbing her broom, Winifred flew to her sisters and helped them up.

"Sisters we can't lose." Winifred orders.

Nodding the 5 sisters linked arms just as everyone ran to the main square.

"Oh no! They're together again!" Arkayna gasps as a magic circle appeared under the Sanderson Sisters gathering tons of magic.

"Foolish boy! Do you see how wrong you are?! We are all powerful!" Winifred cackles as the 5 of them created a powerful magical blast that flew at them. However, none of them noticed a smirk on Ryou's face.

"Now!" Ryou yells.

"Reflect, Divine Mirror Kagami!" Arkayna said summoning her mirror titan.

"What?!" Winifred gasps as Kagami took the magical attack head on.

"You were right Winifred you are powerful. Which is why I knew that if we wanted to beat you I would have to use your own powers against you." Ryou smirks.

"You! You tricked us!" Winifred realized.

"Yep. You were so focused on proving me wrong you didn't realize that our Dragon Mage was the real key to our victory." Ryou said.

"Smart kid." Navi smirks.

"Yeah he's something else." Zarya smiles.

"Do it Dragon Mage!" Piper cheers.

As Arkayna looked at her friends she noticed Imani give her the nod of approval.

"Alright Kagami send it back!" Arkayna said as Kagami reflected the attack blasting all 5 witches at once making them scream and creating a giant explosion.

When the smoke cleared, we see the 5 witches on the ground in pain.

Slowly lifting her head up, Winifred sees the Mysticons and Seekers looking down at them.

"You have…bested us." Winifred declares.

"What are you going to do with us?" Sarah asks in a scared tone.

"You 5 released a lot of magic into this world. It's time to make it go away." Imani said.

"Wait but if we do that you 4 will turn back into spirits." Zhalia said.

"Yeah don't you guys like being alive?" Piper asks.

"More than anything, but our time is over. We'll help but we're gonna stick to being support. Whenever Mysticon Tactician calls us, we'll come back." Dorin said.

"Besides it's your job now. It's one of the benefits of being dead. You get to figure out something new to do." Navi chuckles.

Hearing this the 5 Witches couldn't help but ponder what they said.

For hundreds of years, they had been trapped for their crimes. They were more spirits at this point. But hearing how the original Mysticons were loving their new adventure they couldn't help but wonder maybe they should move on as well.

"M-Mysticons." Winifred said getting their attention. "Before the sun rises. I have one favor to ask."

"What is it?" Imani asks.

"Free us. Let our spirits pass on." Winifred said surprising everyone.

"What? But we can't do that." Piper said.

"Actually we can. Since they're long dead if you all combined your magic, you could allow their spirits to find peace." Malvaron said.

"But how do we know this isn't a trick?" Kitty asks.

"Yeah what if this makes them immortal or allows them to steal our souls?" Zarya asks.

"It's not. We read it in the Astromancer journals for dealing with Ghosts." Doug said.

"And you didn't think of telling us this until now?" Red Nile asks.

"You never asked." Doug shrugs.

Looking at them, Ryou could tell Winifred meant it.

"Winifred are you sure you want to do this?" Sarah asks.

"I'm sure. That is…assuming you 4 want to stick around with little old me." Winifred asks.

"Like you even have to ask." Sarah smiles.

"Sisters til the end." Mary said.

"Come here you buck-toothed softie." Mona smiles.

"Wait you all seriously want to move on?" Kitty asks.

"What about Immortality?" Zarya asks.

"Immortality is overrated. As long as the 5 of us are together we're fine with that." Chole said as the 4 of them hugged Winifred.

"Oh alright." Smiling Winifred joined in the sister hug.

"See you round Sanderson sisters. Good luck." Ryou smiles.

As the 5 of them began to fade away Winifred got an idea.

"Hey you three." Winifred gestures to Ryou, Sophie and Zarya. "Here."

Tossing them amulets, Zarya got Shifter and Ryou got Headless Hessian.

"Wait you're giving us your titans?" Zarya asks.

"I won't need them where I'm going. I'll have my sisters with me." Winifred smiles.

"Wait so that means?" Opening her hand Sophie got Sorcerel.

"Sisters belong together don't you think?" Winifred smirks.

"I promise I'll treat her with respect." Sophie nods.

"You better." Winifred giggles.

Liking her idea, Chloe tossed Arkayna her Dark Dryad amulet and Malvaron her Doberman amulet.

"Wait seriously? I get one?" Malvaron smiles. "I get to be a Seeker?"

"Take good care of them or I'll come back and haunt you." Chloe giggles.

Sarah tossed Antedeluvian to Zhalia and Red Vampress to Kitty.

"Well look at that Cherit. I'm starting to get a collection." Kitty smiles.

"It suits you." Cherit smiles.

Smiling softly, Zhalia was happy for her new titan.

"Up high." Mary tosses her amulets up and Piper caught Elegast while Kasey caught Midnight Rook.

"Seriously? Cool." Kasey smiles.

"Ooh this one is so cute. My kind of titan." Piper smiles.

Smiling Mona held out Dullahan for Em and Silver Hunter for Red Nile.

"Promise me you'll take good care of them." Mona said.

"You have my word witch." Em bows her head accepting it.

"Mine as well." Red Nile said.

"Everyone ready?" Ryou asks.

Nodding Mysticons current and original circled the 5 witches.

Looking to her sisters, Winifred held out her hands and they all linked arms as a magic circle appeared under them.

"By the stars of the cosmoverse." Imani and Arkayna start.

"And the powers of the codex." Navi and Zarya chant.

"What once was a curse shall now be broken." Rosa and Piper chant.

"And the magic shall be reversed." Dorin and Em chant.

"And let these 5 spirits finally be free." Ryou declared as the circle engulfed the witches making them disappear and turning the original 4 Mysticons back into spirits.

"Aw man I'm gonna miss being alive. Ryou you gotta summon me next." Rosa begs.

"Maybe another time Rosa." Ryou chuckles.

"Hey Arkayna." Imani said getting her attention. "You did good tonight."

Smiling Arkayna nodded.

"So what do you think of my leadership back there?" Ryou asks.

"I'll admit you were right. I guess if someone did have to take my place. I'm glad it was you." Arkayna said.

"Keep listening like you did today and Imani will give you back your position in not time." Ryou assures.

"Well we still have about an hour left of the Fright Fest. Anyone want to go back and try to have some fun?" Arkayna suggests.

"Sounds good to me." Zhalia said.

"Agreed." Sophie nods.

"Hmm I might grab a snack or 2 for the road." Red Nile shrugs.

"We gotta find our crew. Make sure they're free of the spell." Kasey said.

"See you round Ryou." Kitty winks.

They were about to head out when Em stops.

"Hey uh does anyone feel like we forgot something?" Em asks.

"Like what?" Zarya asks.

"I don't know. I just feel like we did." Em said.

"Well if it was important we would have remembered." Piper shrugs.

"Yeah true enough. Maybe it'll come back to me." Em said.

Meanwhile Gawayne was still going through Drake City with his mouth still sewn shut.

He tried to order his butler to do something but couldn't.

"Sorry sir but I can't do anything unless you say something." The butler smirks walking away to do what he wanted to do for a change.

Screaming Gawayne tried to stop him but no noise came out.

Back at the festival, everyone was having a fun time now that all the citizens were free of the spell.

As Sophie sat at a bench, she looked at Sabriel and Sorcerial's amulets.

"Hey Sophie." Looking up she saw Ryou holding some chocolate. "Mind if I sit with you?"

"Not at all." Sophie said as he sat down.

"Want some?" Ryou asks giving it to her.

Smiling Sophie took some.

"So how was this Nightmare Night?" Sophie asks.

"Well hopefully my yearly haul can last me a while." Reaching into his pocket, he cringed seeing he left the rest at the base.

Getting an idea Sophie broke a piece of chocolate off.

"Ryou I had a great night with you." Sophie said.

"Me too and I'm sorry got all nervous around you earlier." Ryou said.

"Ryou, do you like me?" Sophie asks.

"I do. I mean well not anything crazy. My love life situation is a little weird." Ryou admits. "But I do like you Sophie. I mean a lot. When I was trying to figure out my Seeker Powers you came into life and helped train me, helped me remaster them. They wouldn't even consider me a Mysticon when you met me, but you made me feel like I was part of something."

Blushing Sophie couldn't help but smile at the praise.

"You already the skills. I just helped you remember them." Sophie said.

"Well it meant a lot to me. Before I was a Mysticon. I was a Seeker, because of you." Ryou smiles.

"You don't say?" Sophie asks scooting closer and putting some chocolate in her mouth.

"I don't mean to sound weird or that I'm not interested but I do want you know that I think you're something else—" Ryou said nervously.

"Ryou…" Sophie said leaning in.

As Ryou turns he feels Sophie's lips pressed against his, but that wasn't all. He felt something push from her mouth into his.

"S-Sophie?" Ryou blushes.

"That wasn't a kiss. That was me giving you some Chocolate." Sophie said

"I-I did taste it during that." Ryou blushes.

"Do you want more?" Sophie asks.

Looking at her smiling face, Ryou slowly nodded his head.

'I like this girl. You knew how to shut you up. She's alright in my book.' Demon Ryou chuckled.

Needless to say, this Nightmare Night ended on VERY sweet note for him.

Meanwhile, in an unknown location, we see Musa and Tecna making their way through an old abandoned concert hall.

"You sure this is the right place Tecna?" Musa asks looking around. "This doesn't seem like the kind of place we would find an amulet."

"Well that's the thing Musa when I asked about it Metz said that this titan is little bit "different" from the other ones. When I saw it, we instantly knew I had to bring you here." Tecna said getting her attention.

"Well how do you know I'm the best one for this one?" Musa asks.

Examining the rubble, Tecna spotted something in a damaged case.

"Here it is." Pushing aside the rubble spook sees a red guitar in the case.

"A guitar? You're saying a titan is in the guitar?" Musa asks trying to make sure she understood this.

"The perfect titan for our singer." Tecna teases.

Slowly reaching out to grab it, Musa feels a strange energy coating it.

"Oh you want to test me huh?" Musa cringes.

Strumming the guitar a powerful burst of lightning exploded out of the guitar.

"It's showtime, Thunderok!" Musa declares as the energy changed shape to resemble a draco warrior with wings and armor.

As Thunderok let out a roar, Musa and Tecna look to each other and grin.

"Well we didn't get to scare anyone, but this definetly fits the treat category." Tecna smiles.

"Wait until Ryou and the girls get a load of this." Musa smiles.

Looking around Tecna saw one chair was still intact. "Hey Musa how about that Nightmare Night song you wanted to debut?" Tecna suggests sitting down.

Loving the sound of that, Musa climbs up on stage.

"Alright you ghouls and goblins time for one last fright." Musa said strumming the guitar and as thunder echoed from it, the noise reflected off the various wrecks and relics causing spooky noise to echo from it.
