(Gallagher House-Thanksgiving Morning)
Ian groaned as he heard his alarm go off, he lazily grabbed his phone next to him and slowly opened his eyes to see it was already past 10 in the morning. He slept way later than he intended to. He slowly sat up on his bed, as his eyes adjusted to the morning light. He looked around the room and saw Liam was still fast asleep and assumed it was Lip that was in the shower currently, as Carl decided to sleep in the van with his girlfriend and her siblings, and judging by the silence in the house they weren't awake yet either.
He stretched his arms out, before getting off his bed and deciding to head downstairs to start getting stuff set up.
As he headed downstairs, he was quite confused when he smelled food coming from the kitchen. He knew it couldn't have been Debbie, she could barely use the stove for even the most basic of foods. Maybe it was her in the shower instead of Lip.
"Lip, you could have woken me up to help," Ian said rubbing his eyes with his hand still feeling a bit drowsy.
However, when he moved his hand away, what he saw completely took him by surprise.
"Morning Ian."
Max was standing right in front of the oven, holding a large kitchen knife in her hand.
"Jesus Christ" he screeched as he jumped back quite a few feet.
"You, ok?"
Ian just looked at her completely dumbfounded; he couldn't find the words.
Lip came sprinting down the stairs, in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist.
"What's wro-"He stopped mid-sentence when he saw Max just standing in the middle of the kitchen.
Though, unlike Ian, Lip just widens his eyes just a bit in confusion but didn't look that affected by the fact that Max somehow got into their house without no one knowing.
Max quickly sensing the mood of the room put the knife down.
"I'm so sorry for scaring you, but I did tell you about me wanting to come over and help with the cooking. I tried calling you, but you never answered."
"That's fine and all, but we're more concerned about how you got into the house in the first place, we usually lock our doors to keep Frank out," Lip asked.
Speaking of the devil, the door to the basement and out came Frank.
"Oh, don't get your panties in a bunch, I let her in the house."
Ian finally found his voice "Well how the hell did you get in, we lock it to keep you out at night."
"For your information Mr. Smart guy, it wasn't locked. Carl and his little squad of heathens left late last night and didn't lock it. Shelia and Jodi were getting freaky last night, and trust me you don't want to be in that house when that happens."
Lip put a hand up to stop Frank "Don't even go there, Frank."
"Anyways, an hour or so ago. Ian's friend here was knocking on the door with a giant turkey in her arms. Couldn't exactly turn her away especially when she explained she was here to help with the cooking."
Frank turns to Ian "By the way, I got to say I'm impressed with the company you've been keeping."
"Frank" Ian warned as he crossed his arms together.
"Maybe you two should go and get change, it's rude to be teasing our guest as this" Frank suggested gesturing towards Ian who was still only in his tank top and boxers, and Lip who was only wearing a towel around his waist.
Both Lip and Ian looked at one another, before making their way out of the kitchen and upstairs.
Max immediately turned to Frank with a perplexed expression "You didn't rat me out for picking the locks on the door, how come?"
"Well for one I got a nice view of your cleavage from where I laying on the porch, which by the way is very nice."
"Thank you," Max said smiling at the compliment, even if it was coming from a middle age man in his 50s. She already has an idea of what he wants, but she figured she might as well play along with him.
"I've heard through the grapevine, about you employing Ian-"
Max interrupted him "Employed it such a strong word. Ian is a nice guy and hard worker who fell into a tough spot, so I figured I'd help him out until he gets back on his feet."
"Ian's always had such a strong work ethic; he gets that from me you know."
Max just raises one of her eyebrows looking at him amused "So I'm going to go on a limb here, and going to assume you want to be a part of Ian's, and I partnership we have going on,"
"Not necessarily, Ian doesn't have to be involved, we could have our own separate partnership or whatever you want to call it."
Max raises a hand "All right let me stop you there, I'm not interested in what sex fantasies you're having, I mean I wouldn't say no to an older guy in his 30s, but not someone in their 50s."
"Why is sex always the first thing people assume," Frank asks flailing his arms.
"Well let's see you're a man in his 50's trying to solicit money from an 18-year-old girl, who is in her last year of High school by the way. What else should I assume?"
Frank turns to her almost beggingly "Look, I'll do whatever you want. I can get you into all the best underage clubs if you want, if you need connections with some drug dealers you got it. Anything"
Max couldn't help but chuckle at how far he seemed to be willing to take this, maybe she did indeed not take Ian's warning seriously enough. Though this might prove to be useful and fun.
Ian was quickly getting changed with Lip in their shared bedroom, he had to admit finding Max in the middle of his kitchen made him anxious. Especially since she claimed to have tried to have called him, but when he looked at his phone there were no missed calls
Lip took notice of his brother's sullenness "Hey you ok"
"I don't know maybe I'm thinking too much into it, but just something seems off about Max's story. She said she tried calling me, but there were no missed calls."
"I'll admit it was strange coming out of the shower and seeing her in the middle of our kitchen with fucking knife, but I don't think she meant anything maliciously. Might have gotten so distracted with Frank she thought she called when she didn't."
Ian knew it was a possibility, it wasn't like he thought he did something before when he didn't.
Lip put his shirt over him as he continued "Though I'm going to have to talk to Carl about when he and the kids are going in and out as they do, to double-check they lock the door on their way out."
Ian bit the inside of his cheek, Carl and Debbie were good about making sure the door was locked whether they were at home by themselves with Liam or when they were the last ones to leave the house. Yeah, he knew it was more likely a mistake on his part since he was not only hanging out with his girlfriend Bonnie but also with all her siblings. Still, he couldn't help but have a funny feeling about all of this, he only hopes he was just overthinking it all.
"Probably should head back downstairs before Frank gets himself killed"
Ian snickered "Would that be a bad thing."
"Any other day it wouldn't be, but it's a holiday let's try and at least not hurt Frank".
"Easier said than done," Ian said hitting Lip's back before they started making their way back downstairs.
When they got downstairs, they were surprised to see both Max and Frank sitting at the table just talking and laughing like they were old pals.
"Fired you for a bathroom break?" Max asked chuckling and looking at him in disbelief.
Frank points a finger toward her "No offense to you, but how do you think Rich people just keep getting richer? They'll find any excuse to fire the common man, and then bring in some Mexican to do the same job for lower wages."
Max just shrugs her shoulders "No offense taken; I know exactly how it works. My dad deals with international dealings and he has mentioned a few times the convenience of immigrant workers because they don't complain about unions and fair wages, they'll do the same amount of work for almost nothing. I'd say a good majority of the cleaning staff at my house are Mexicans"
"Exactly, and yet the government keeps going on about stopping illegal immigration, yet most of these politicians and big business names hire them instead of the hard-working Americans they claim to love."
"See you two are getting along," Lip said as they entered the kitchen, looking around at the food Max had already got cooking.
Max looks up at Ian "Your dad is a pretty smart guy."
"See someone who can appreciate the insight that I have to offer." Frank said as he got up and headed over to the fridge."
As soon as Ian sat down, Max leaned in a bit and whispered "Just got to entertain him and feed his ego a bit, I've dealt with guys like him before."
"Trust me his ego is so big, sometimes he'll take an insult as a compliment."
Lip opens up the oven and was surprised by the size of the turkey that was not the one that they had bought earlier in the week.
"Holy shit."
Max turned around and her face dropped when she saw what Lip was doing.
"Hey, keep that oven closed. I just put that turkey in there."
Lip quickly closed the oven and asked "I don't think I've ever seen a turkey that big."
"Well with all the people always in and out of the house, I figured to get the biggest turkey I could find to make sure everyone gets enough. Plus, I wanted to find a way to say thank you for you guys letting me be a part of your thanksgiving"
"You didn't have to do that, we're the hosts after all," Ian said.
Frank immediately scolded Ian "Now son, if our guest wants to go out and buy the biggest turkey she can find and cook for us, then who are we to deny her that? This is what I call one of the good north siders, who give a damn about us poor people in the south."
Before anyone could respond to Frank, the door opened to reveal both Kev and V carrying several dishes.
"Happy Thanksgiving Gallaghers."
"Happy Thanksgiving" Lip, Frank, and Ian all said, as Lip went and hugged both of them as he grabbed some of the dishes.
Kev looked over and was surprised to see Max, it was his second time seeing her since that party last week.
"Oh, you're Kevin right, from the party last week," Max asked.
Kev just nodded "Yeah, I'm surprised you remembered me."
He then turns to Veronica "V this is Max, Ian's friend."
V looked impressed the moment she laid eyes on her before turning to Ian "Damn Ian for being a gay dude, you sure know how to find good-looking ones."
Ian just sighs as he puts a hand over his eyes as Max lightly laughs.
"I'm so sorry about everything last weekend, I'm sure that was awkward for you."
Kev just waves her off "Nah, it's ok. I just always happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time."
"By the way, the weed was a big seller, a few people were asking me if you got any information cards, they would like to hire you for future parties."
Kev looked so proud as he turned to V "See it's a good thing we kept the weed plant going, this could be an amazing side gig."
"Damn straight, if those rich kids are asking for information cards."
"Just give me the information or give it to Ian when you can, I can set you up," Max said as she got up and went back to check on the food.
As V put some of her dishes down, she already saw several things cooking.
"This smells amazing, are you the one making all this" V asked Max.
Max just nods as she stirs the stuffing "Yeah, I'm a big fan of cooking. I've learned from various chefs we've employed."
V's eyes widen before walking away "Man I wish I could have my own personal chef, saves me from doing a lot of dishes."
Kevin then proceeds to rub his hands together as he walks towards the stove, and Ian couldn't help but bite his lip trying to hold back his laughter knowing what was about to happen.
Before Kev could even touch a pot, Max quickly smacked his hand away.
"Oww the fuck" Kev said in surprise, moreover the action than actual pain.
Ian couldn't help but let out a laugh, as Lip and Veronica looked on amused.
"Sorry, I'm a bit of an OCD when it comes to cooking. Why don't you guys just go watch TV or play football?"
V just gave her an incredulous look "Are you serious, you going to cook everything by yourself."
Max just nodded.
"She's serious all right, I can't tell you how many times she's hit my hand with god knows what if I even try to eat some before it's ready" Ian chimed in very amused.
Frank took a swig of his beer "You never want to get between a woman and her domain, it's only asking for trouble."
"Excuse me, Frank, want to repeat that," V asked, while Kev just took a step back.
Lip then took that moment in between "All right, no fighting it's thanksgiving, I'm sure the kids will be here soon, let's just get out of Max's way and get a game set up for the kids."
V just glared at Frank before leaving the kitchen, with him following behind going on another tangent. Eventually, everyone but Max followed suit.
Everyone ended up spending the next couple of hours outside playing some football or just wrestling with one another.
Soon Max came out the front door and yelled "Food's just about ready."
All the kids came quickly rushing in, while some of the adults got the main table ready while the others got a second one set up since there wasn't enough room for everyone.
"It smells delicious, I don't see how anyone cannot love your cooking," Ian said as he walked into the kitchen to help bring some dishes.
Max's homemade cooking is defiantly one of the highlights of his days, it never fails to fill him up.
Max was finishing drying off her hands "Thanks, I hope they do as well. Cooking is a great way to keep your mind occupied."
Ian was about to grab a dish, but Max quickly grabbed his wrist.
"Before we go out, I need to ask you a question"
Ian just furrowed his brows "What is it."
"My school is having our Winter dance in 2 weeks, it's on the 8th of December, I wanted to know if you were cool with going."
Ian just grimaced, he wasn't a fan of school functions like that, especially since everything was being constantly monitored, and he could only imagine what a private school like hers would do.
"I'm not much a dance person, well scratch that, school dances I should say."
Max's head bobbles for a moment "I figured, but besides Prom, it's going to be one of the last dances I'll be attending and I don't want to go alone. I'll pay you extra and even get you a tux for the dance. I would have asked you earlier, but apparently, the school moved the dance up earlier than expected."
"How much extra," Ian asked because he would defiantly need more to just even consider. it.
"1000 and a fitting for a new tux."
Ian's eyes widened and he swore his mouth dropped.
Max smiled seeing his expression "I'm taking that as a yes then."
Ian couldn't find the words, so he just nodded instead.
She then quickly grabbed a dish before walking out of the room.
Everyone was just talking amongst themselves, as the food was placed on the tables.
Kevin and Frank were situated at opposite ends of the table, while Lip, Ian, Max, and Veronica sat on one side, while Carl, Bonnie, and Debbie sat on the other side. While the younger children were situated at the other table.
"Max, this looks amazing, I never smelled food so delicious" Veronica said with her eyes closed as she sniffed.
Kev nodded in agreement "This must be what it's like to live like a rich person, with the good kind of food that both looks and taste good."
"Thank you, I'm just thankful for you guys letting me be a part of your thanksgiving it's the least I could do."
Frank claps his hands together "All right, it's time to say grace everyone, hold hands"
Just as Frank finished his sentence there was a loud knock at the door.
Everyone just stared at each other in confusion.
"Did anyone invite anyone else over?" Lip asked, but everyone either shook their heads or looked just as confused.
Carl quickly jumped up "I'll get it"
Carl opened the door and was surprised to see Mickey Milkovich standing right in front of him.
"What are you doing here"
Mickey looked nervous as he took a peek inside the house "Is Kev here."
"Yeah, he's right inside," Carl said moving back to let Mickey in.
Carl quickly reentered the room "Hey Kev it's for you."
"Who," Kev asked confused.
Mickey then entered the room "Hey."
"Fuck" Ian whispered as he looked on at Mickey in shock, something that Max quickly too noticed off.
"What are you doing here Mickey, I thought you were doing Thanksgiving at your house," Kev asked.
Mickey just shrugged his shoulder "House got overtaken by those stupid Russian whores, and trust you don't want to be walking into every room where someone is fucking someone else. Figured since I was in the neighborhood, I would deliver your share for the week."
He quickly took out a wad of money and threw it to Kev.
"Uh thanks, you know this could have waited until tomorrow"
Max just stared at him with an analyzing expression and looked back at Ian who looked horrified.
"So, who's this," Max asks as she leans back into her chair.
Carl was the one to immediately answer "He's Mickey Milkovich, he's one of the toughest thugs on the south side.
Ian just covers his eyes with one of his hands, while Kev just looks nervous and Lip looks highly amused over everything.
Max got up from her seat and extended her hand "Nice to meet you, the name's Max Donnelly. I have heard quite a lot about you."
Mickey grabs her hand and seems to put some force into their handshake, but Max never lets on.
"Same here" was all Mickey replied as he glared at the smiling teenager.
"Well thanks for stopping by Mickey, tell Mandy I said hello," Ian said getting up and putting himself almost between the two hoping he could get him to go away
"Oh, come on let him have Thanksgiving dinner with us, it doesn't seem like he has anywhere else to go," Max said, causing Mickey to give off another glare in her direction.
Frank who was starting to get impatient said "She's right, get another chair. It is after all the season to be giving."
"Wrong Holiday Frank," V said.
After getting another chair, and getting Mickey situated directly across from Ian and Max. Everyone once again was holding hands as Frank said, Grace.
"Dear Lord, thank you for this food we are about to it-"
As Frank continued with Grace, Mickey opened his eyes and saw Max looking right at him. He has to admit she was defiantly very hot and had a great body, even if Ian was straight, he would have a hard time he was able to get into her pants as easily as he did.
"Amen," Frank finished, with everyone following soon after, and then went straight for the food.
Everyone was mostly just focused on their own separate conversations with each other.
"Hey Max, why did your parents give you a boy's name," Debbie asked.
Max just chuckles as she takes a drink of her water "It's short for Maxine, the feminine version of Maxwell. Max is just what I've always been called."
"Not even Maxie"
"Oh god no, rather be Max than Maxie. I hate that nickname with a passion"
Veronica immediately picked up on the reason why "Cause of Maxie Pads."
"Exactly and I don't think I need to elaborate on how tweens and teens can be little pricks."
Mickey took a swig of his beer and said "I think I heard of one of those jokes before. What did the maxi pad say to the fart"
Max took in a deep breath but still kept her composure, as Ian rubbed the side of his face trying not to make eye contact with Mickey.
"You are the wind beneath my wings."
Carl and the other kids let out a laugh, and even Frank let out a small chuckle.
Max just shrugs "I've heard that one plenty of times, the more you hear of them the more numb you become to it."
Seeing his brother's face Lip decided to change the subject "So Max, Ian said you've been taking college courses, do you know what you want to go for."
"Nurse Practitioner"
Kev immediately perked up "That's awesome, V here has some experience of being a nurse."
"Really, what kind type of nurse are you," Max asked interested.
V just rolled her eyes "Well I didn't make it past the program, due to circumstances."
"Yeah, by selling the equipment on eBay" Frank quipped.
"Shut up Frank."
"It's a good thing I've been taking these courses since summer because poor Ian here got into a scuffle a month ago and was able to treat the wounds without going to the hospital."
Lip decided to add his two cents in "Wait wasn't that the night you lost your job."
"Yeah, it was," Ian said resting his head in his hands as he played with his food.
Mickey just pressed his lips together as he glared at the smirking Max, who was using her fork to grab a piece of turkey from the plate and took a bite.
"What colleges are you applying to" Lip asked.
"I've already applied to the UIC College of Nursing, it's my top pick. I'm hoping to hear back at the beginning of the new year."
Mickey just scoffs "Oh please you act like you haven't already been accepted."
"Excuse me," Max asks raising one of her eyebrows.
"Oh, come on, you can't tell me that most of those elite schools" Mickey begins as he air quotes elite schools "don't prioritize who gets into their schools based on who their parents are and how much money they can give to the school.
Frank points a finger toward Mickey "He's got a point, It's all part of the social hierarchy. Rich folks donate a library or falsify SAT scores all in the name of getting their less-than-intellectual children into a prestigious school to keep up appearances. See my boy Lip got a perfect on the SAT Scores, and he still only got into a cheap college on a full ride."
Lip just gives Frank a look "You think that college is cheap Frank"
Max just sighs "Look I 100% agree with you on that, I know personally parents that are willing to go that extra mile. Though I disagree with that notion I'll be accepted solely based on my parent's wealth. If there's one thing that my father taught me, is that I rely on my talents and wits to get by in this world. My education has always been my top priority."
"She's not wrong, I've seen the course load she has to do, and those private schools do indeed put a lot of pressure on the students. What was it you had to write a 15-page essay on the contributions of a controversial figure from the 19th century?" Ian said, remembering helping her with her studies and various projects.
"Yep, I did it on Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing who supported the genocide of Indigenous people in favor of the expansion of the British empire."
Mickey stabbed his fork with a lot of force into the turkey "All right, but you can't tell me your parents aren't giving you a full ride."
Max just crosses her arms "They're not, I'm paying my way."
Mickey and several others just gave her a disbelieving look.
"The hell you are, privileged princesses like you have had everything handed to them on a silver platter, while everyone else in this room, has had to work their asses off just to get their next meal." Mickey said sounding a bit angry as he failed his arms around the room."
Max, who has been completely composed for most of this conversation expression showed more or her annoyance towards Mickey.
"Yes, I have a privileged that has gotten me ahead of most in this room, but that doesn't mean I don't have a job. My job is to get my education and earn my own money, I'm fortunate when my grandfather died, he left me an inheritance to help me just focus solely on that. Though of course, I can't access all of it until I'm 21, though I'll be out of college by then and working."
V gave Max a look "How much of an inheritance."
"I'm not going to say how much, except it's enough for me to live without having to work. He didn't want to leave anything to my mother, whom he called referred to as a useless bimbo."
Ian just smiled a bit remembering how much she told him she was left with.
Frank smacks his hands on the table "Don't leave us in suspense, come on what is it thousands, millions, or billions."
"You might as well tell us; I mean it's not like we're not used to rich people bragging about their wealth" Lip encouraged.
"A couple million" Max relented.
Kev started to choke the moment, while Lip and Frank's eyes widened.
V's mouth was still wide open "Did you just say a couple million you inherited."
Max just nodded.
"I am literally wet with Jealousy right now," V said huffing, still in disbelief.
Frank immediately turns to Ian "Listen, you sure you aren't bisexual? Because this can be literally the woman of your dreams."
"No Frank."
Mickey looked impressed "Not bad at all, but then that begs the question why would someone with that much money would want to hang around a poor fag from the southside."
Ian just sighs "Look can we please not, and just enjoy our Thanksgiving."
Lip and Frank just looked highly amused over everything that was happening., while Kev and V just looked at Mickey wishing he would just shut up.
Max looked at Mickey dumbfound "Are you seriously that stupid, it's not rocket science. Ian is a nice guy simple as that, I enjoy his company. Let me ask you a question, why are you so concerned about our friendship."
Mickey just scoffs "I'm not-."
Max interrupted before he could finish his sentence.
"Then why did you come here today, you obviously knew I was going to be here today, so what reason did you have coming here today? Perhaps to hurt Ian again, seems like that's something you are good at"
Mickey just stayed silent, as he just glared right at her.
After finishing his food, and talking with Kev and V for a bit, he quickly hightailed it out of the Gallagher house. It was hard to describe what he was really feeling, he could only really describe it as emptiness. He thought he had an idea of what he was going to say and do when he got there, but it all went to shit. There was so much he wanted to get off his chest towards that bitch Max, but something held him back He wasn't sure if it was because of all the other people, but when did he ever give a fuck about that shit before.
The next thing he knew, he heard a car honking loudly behind him. He quickly turned around and saw a blue Mercedes pulling up to him.
"The fuck" he murmured to himself.
The passenger window rolled down, to reveal Max in the driver's seat.
"You need a ride?"
Mickey just gave her a disgusted "Fuck you bitch."
He started walking away before Max called out "Come on, I know there was more you wanted to say to me back there. Now's your perfect chance."
This caused Mickey to stop in his tracks for a minute as if he was contemplating, but after a minute, he shook his head and walked over to the car, and quickly got in.
It was an awkward silence in the car as Max continued to drive down the street, while Mickey just stared at Max up and down getting a better look at her.
"You can take a picture if you like, it will last longer."
Mickey scoffs "Please, don't act so high and mighty, just because Ian can't see you for the bitch that you are, doesn't mean that I can't see through your façade."
"Façade I don't know what you mean," Max said sarcastically.
"Please you know exactly what I mean. This fake nice rich girl personality might be fooling Gallagher but it isn't fooling me. I just don't get how the king of all homos ended up fucking you."
"You do realize you're practically the reason why Ian's dick ended up in pussy right?"
Mickey just squeezed the car's armrest, as his expression turned into disgust.
"That first night we met, the poor thing was so heartbroken because he put everything, he had into making his relationship with you work, but you just keep stringing him along while keeping him a dirty secret."
"Then you fucking roofied him with all the drinks you bought him that night right, to make it easier to seduce him, right?"
Max just rolls her eyes but continues "Maybe if you weren't such a pussy yourself and actually make it seem like you loved him, then he wouldn't have fucked me."
"Go ahead call me a pussy again."
"Or what, what are you going to do? Are you going to be a man and hit me?"
Mickey breathes very heavily as his face turns into one of rage before his hand clenched into a fist and hit the passenger window causing a huge crack to form, and blood dripping from his hand.
"The truth hurts doesn't it," Max asks as she stops at a red light, not even at all concerned about the broken window.
Mickey quickly turned back to look at Max "What possible benefit can you be getting out of whatever you want to call this relationship with southside trash."
"He's not trash Mickey. There's a difference between being born into Trash and someone who willingly chooses to live like Trash. We both know where you and Ian fall into that spectrum."
Mickey just huffed softly, looking hurt.
"I wasn't lying earlier; Ian is a nice kid and he has a lot of potential to be able to get out of the southside. If I can help him, then I will."
Mickey just lightly shakes his head as he holds his injured hand "You can't expect me to believe that, there has to be something more to it.
Max just shrugs her shoulders.
"You can believe what you want to believe, but can you honestly tell me something positive you've been able to bring into Ian's life? Just from what I've seen and heard, it seems like all you brought to him was just nothing but hurt and sorrow."
Max smirked as Mickey just remained silent knowing he wasn't going to be able to answer that.
Soon Max pulled up to the front of Mickey's house.
"Lovely house," Max said sarcastically.
Mickey turned to Max with renewed determination in his eyes.
"Let's get one thing straight bitch, your right I might not have treated Ian, as well as I, could have, but no way in hell am I going to let him get sucked into whatever you're trying to pull him into."
Max just gives him a wave "Good luck with that Mickey, you might find yourself a bit late on that. You only got yourself to blame."
Mickey proceeded to flip off Max, before getting out of the car and proceeded to keep flipping her off even as her car faded from view.
When Max returned home, she quickly went up to her room and went straight to her closet. She eventually got out the blood-stained black sweater she had used over Ian's wounds and put it on and proceeded to collapse onto her bed as she held the Elsa doll that Ian had won for her at the fair. She just layed there humming an unknown song, before she let go of the Elsa doll and proceeded to grab the CVS bag on the dresser and take out the contents. She just smiled as she looked at the unopened box of a pregnancy test.
Author's Note
I'm so sorry for the long delay, unfortunately, life happened and things needed to be taken care. I'm hoping to finally get back into a regular upload schedule now that everything is taken care of. Here's the promised Thanksgiving chapter and I hope the Mickey meeting with Max was exciting for you guys as it was for me writing it. Mickey is defiantly not buying into her, and Max definitely knows this.
